Duas and Ziarat Salaat Etiquette

4th Zilhajj

Night:

Between Maghrib and `Isha' recite a two rakaat prayer and in each unit recite Surah al-Fatihah once, Surah al-Tawhid once

After Sura Ikhlas, recite the following verse.


وَوَاعَدْنَا مُوْسَى ثَلَاثِيْنَ لَيْلَةً

Day:

It is highly recommended to fast on this day

Recite these duas


أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَاإِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
Recite this tahlilaat


لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ عَدَدَ اللَّيَالِيْ وَالدُّهُورِ
Recite this dua any time after Fajr and before Maghrib


اَللّٰهُمَّ هٰذِهِ الْأَيَّامُ الَّتِيْ فَضَّلْتَهَا عَلَى الْأَيَّامِ وَشَرَّفْتَهَا
