Al-Qadr (#97)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ innā anzalnāhu fī laylatil qadr Indeed We sent it down on the Night of Ordainment.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ wa mā adrāka mā laylatul qadr And what will show you what is the Night of Ordainment?

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ laylatul qadri khayrun min alfi shahr The Night of Ordainment is better than a thousand months.

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ tanazzalul malā-ikatu war rūḥu fīhā bi-idhni rabbihim min kulli amr In it the angels and the Spirit descend, by the leave of their Lord, with every command.

سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ salāmun hiya ḥattā maṭla`il fajr It is peaceful until the rising of the dawn.
