بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

[This is] a Book We have sent down to you that you may bring mankind out from darkness into light, by the command of their Lord, to the path of the All-mighty, the All-laudable
2
ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ allāhil ladhī lahu mā fis samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ ۗ wawaylul lilkāfirīna min `adhābin shadīd —Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Woe to the faithless for a severe punishment
3
ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا عَلَى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ alladhīna yastaḥibbūnal ḥayātad dunyā `alal-ākhirati wayaṣuddūna `an sabīlillāhi wayabghūnahā `iwajā ۚ ulā-ika fī ḍalālin ba`īd —those who prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter, and bar [others] from the way of Allah, and seek to make it crooked. They are in extreme error.

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِۦ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ ۖ فَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ wa mā arsalnā min rasūlin illā bilisāni qawmihi liyubayyina lahum ۖ fayuḍillullāhu man yashā-u wayahdī man yashā-u ۚ wahuwal `azīzul ḥakīm We did not send any apostle except with the language of his people, so that he might make [Our messages] clear to them. Then Allah leads astray whomever He wishes, and He guides whomsoever He wishes, and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُم بِأَيَّىٰمِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ walaqad arsalnā mūsā bi-āyātinā an akhrij qawmaka minaẓ ẓulumāti ilan nūri wadhakkirhum bi-ayyāmillāh ۚ inna fī dhālika la-āyātin likulli ṣabbārin shakūr Certainly We sent Moses with Our signs: ‘Bring your people out from darkness into light and remind them of Allah’s [holy] days. There are indeed signs in that for every patient and grateful [servant].’
6
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ أَنجَىٰكُم مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِى ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ wa idh qāla mūsā liqawmihidh-kurū ni`matallāhi `alaykum idh anjākum min āli fir`awna yasūmūnakum sū al `adhābi wayudhabbiḥūna abnā-akum wayastaḥyūna nisā-akum ۚ wafī dhālikum balā-un min rabbikum `aẓīm When Moses said to his people, ‘Remember Allah’s blessing upon you when He delivered you from Pharaoh’s clan who inflicted a terrible torment on you, and slaughtered your sons and spared your women, and in that there was a great test from your Lord.
7
وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِى لَشَدِيدٌ wa idh ta-adhhana rabbukum la-in shakartum la-azīdannakum ۖ wala-in kafartum inna `adhābī lashadīd And when your Lord proclaimed, “If you are grateful, I will surely enhance you [in blessing], but if you are ungrateful, My punishment is indeed severe.” ’
8
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِن تَكْفُرُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ waqāla mūsā in takfurū antum wa man fil-arḍi jamī`an fa-innallāha laghaniyyun ḥamīd And Moses said, ‘Should you be faithless,—you and everyone on the earth, all together—indeed Allah is all-sufficient, all-laudable.’
9

Their apostles brought them manifest proofs, but they did not respond to them, and said, ‘We disbelieve in what you have been sent with. Indeed we have grave doubts concerning that to which you invite us.’
10
قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِى ٱللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ qālat rusuluhum afillāhi shakkun fāṭiris samāwāti wal-arḍ ۖ yad`ūkum liyaghfira lakum min dhunūbikum wayu-akhhirakum ilā ajalin musammā ۚ qālū in antum illā basharun mithlunā turīdūna an taṣuddūnā `ammā kāna ya`budu ābā-unā fa-tūnā bisulṭānin mubīn Their apostles said, ‘Is there any doubt about Allah, the originator of the heavens and the earth?! He calls you to forgive you a part of your sins, and grants you respite until a specified time.’ They said, ‘You are nothing but humans like us who desire to bar us from what our fathers used to worship. So bring us a manifest authority.’
11
قَالَتْ لَهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ إِن نَّحْنُ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَآ أَن نَّأْتِيَكُم بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ qālat lahum rusuluhum in naḥnu illā basharun mithlukum walākinnallāha yamunnu `alā man yashā-u min `ibādih ۖ wa mā kāna lanā an na-tiyakum bisulṭānin illā bi-idhnillāh ۚ wa`alallāhi falyatawakkalil mu-minūn Their apostles said to them, ‘Indeed we are just human beings like yourselves; but Allah favours whomever of His servants that He wishes. We may not bring you an authority except by Allah’s leave, and in Allah let all the faithful put their trust.
12
وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَىٰنَا سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَلَنَصْبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَآ ءَاذَيْتُمُونَا ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ wa mā lanā allā natawakkala `alallāhi waqad hadānā subulanā ۚ walanaṣbiranna `alā mā ādhaytumūnā ۚ wa`alallāhi falyatawakkalil mutawakkilūn And why should we not put our trust in Allah, seeing that He has guided us in our ways? Surely, we will put up patiently with whatever torment you may inflict upon us, and in Allah let all the trusting put their trust.’
13
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِنَآ أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِى مِلَّتِنَا ۖ فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ لَنُهْلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ waqālal ladhīna kafarū lirusulihim lanukhrijannakum min arḍinā aw lata`ūdunna fī millatinā ۖ fa-awḥā ilayhim rabbuhum lanuhlikannaẓ ẓālimīn But the faithless said to their apostles, ‘Surely we will expel you from our land, or you shall revert to our creed.’ Thereat their Lord revealed to them: ‘We will surely destroy the wrongdoers,

This [promise] is for someone who is awed to stand before Me and fears My threat.’
15
وَٱسْتَفْتَحُوا۟ وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ wastaftaḥū wakhāba kullu jabbārin `anīd They prayed for victory [against the infidels], and every obstinate tyrant was defeated,

That is extreme error.

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ alam tara annallāha khalaqas samāwāti wal-arḍa bil ḥaqq ۚ in yasha-yudh-hibkum waya-ti bikhalqin jadīd Have you not regarded that Allah created the heavens and the earth with justice? وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ ٱلضُّعَفَـٰٓؤُا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍ ۚ قَالُوا۟ لَوْ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَـٰكُمْ ۖ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَجَزِعْنَآ أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ wabarazū lillāhi jamī`an faqālaḍ ḍu`afā-u lilladhīnas-takbarū innā kunnā lakum taba`an fahal antum mughnūna `annā min `adhābillāhi min shay-ī ۚ qālū law hadānallāhu lahadaynākum ۖ sawā-un `alaynā ajazi`nā am ṣabarnā mā lanā min maḥīṣ Together they will be presented before Allah. Then those who were weak will say to the arrogant [leaders], ‘Indeed we were your followers. So will you avail us against Allah’s punishment in any wise?’ They will say, ‘Had Allah guided us, surely we would have guided you. It is the same to us whether we are restless or patient: there is no escape for us.’
22
وَقَالَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ لَمَّا قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِىَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَـٰنٍ إِلَّآ أَن دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَٱسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِى ۖ فَلَا تَلُومُونِى وَلُومُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُم ۖ مَّآ أَنَا۠ بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَآ أَنتُم بِمُصْرِخِىَّ ۖ إِنِّى كَفَرْتُ بِمَآ أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِن قَبْلُ ۗ إِنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ waqālash shayṭānu lammā quḍiyal-amru innallāha wa`adakum wa`dal ḥaqqi wawa`adtukum fa-akhlaftukum ۖ wa mā kāna liya `alaykum min sulṭānin illā an da`awtukum fastajabtum lī ۖ falā talūmūnī walūmū anfusakum ۖ mā ana bimuṣrikhikum wa mā antum bimuṣrikhiyy ۖ innī kafartu bimā ashraktumūni min qabl ۗ innaẓ ẓālimīna lahum `adhābun alīm When the matter is all over, Satan will say, ‘Indeed Allah made you a promise that was true and I [too] made you a promise, but I failed you. I had no authority over you, except that I called you and you responded to me. So do not blame me, but blame yourselves. I cannot respond to your distress calls, neither can you respond to my distress calls. Indeed I disavow your taking me for [Allah’s] partner aforetime. There is indeed a painful punishment for the wrongdoers.’

Their greeting therein will be ‘Peace!’

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ alam tara kayfa ḍaraballāhu mathalan kalimatan ṭayyibatan kashajaratin ṭayyibatin aṣluhā thābitun wafar`uhā fis samā-i Have you not regarded how Allah has drawn a parable? A good word is like a good tree: its roots are steady and its branches are in the sky.
25
تُؤْتِىٓ أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍۭ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا ۗ وَيَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ tu-tī ukulahā kulla ḥīnin bi-idhni rabbihā ۗ wayaḍribullāhul-amthāla linnāsi la`allahum yatadhakkarūn It gives its fruit every season by the leave of its Lord. Allah draws these parables for mankind so that they may take admonition.
26

27

رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ ۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِى فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّى ۖ وَمَنْ عَصَانِى فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ rabbi innahunna aḍlalna kathīran minan nās ۖ faman tabi`anī fa-innahu minnī ۖ wa man `aṣānī fa-innaka ghafūrun raḥīm My Lord! Indeed they have misled many people. So whoever follows me indeed belongs to me, and as for those who disobey me, well, You are indeed all-forgiving, all-merciful.

رَّبَّنَآ إِنِّىٓ أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِى بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِى زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ ٱلْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجْعَلْ أَفْـِٔدَةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهْوِىٓ إِلَيْهِمْ وَٱرْزُقْهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ rabbanā innī askantu min dhurriyyatī biwādin ghayri dhī zar`in `inda baytikal muḥarrami rabbanā liyuqīmuṣ ṣalāta faj`al af-idatan minan nāsi tahwy ilayhim warzuqhum minath thamarāti la`allahum yashkurūn Our Lord! I have settled part of my descendants in a barren valley, by Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may maintain the prayer. So make the hearts of a part of the people fond of them, and provide them with fruits, so that they may give thanks.
38
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِى وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِن شَىْءٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ rabbanā innaka ta`lamu mā nukhfī wa mā nu`lin ۗ wa mā yakhfā `alallāhi min shay-in fil-arḍi walā fis samā-i Our Lord! Indeed You know whatever we hide and whatever we disclose, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the sky.

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى وَهَبَ لِى عَلَى ٱلْكِبَرِ إِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَـٰقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّى لَسَمِيعُ ٱلدُّعَآءِ al-ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī wahaba lī `alal-kibari ismā`īla wa is-ḥāq ۚ inna rabbī lasamī`ud du`ā-i All praise belongs to Allah, who gave me Ishmael and Isaac despite [my] old age. Indeed my Lord hears all supplications.
40
رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ rabbij-`alnī muqīmaṣ ṣalāti wa min dhurriyyatī ۚ rabbanā wataqabbal du`ā-i My Lord! Make me a maintainer of prayer, and my descendants [as well]. Our Lord, accept my supplication.
41
رَبَّنَا ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلْحِسَابُ rabbanagh-fir lī waliwālidayya walil-mu-minīna yawma yaqūmul ḥisāb Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and all the faithful, on the day when the reckoning is held.’
42
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَـٰفِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ walā taḥsabannallāha ghāfilan `ammā ya`maluẓ ẓālimūn ۚ innamā yu-akhhiruhum liyawmin tashkhaṣu fīhil-abṣār Do not suppose that Allah is oblivious of what the wrongdoers are doing. He is only granting them respite until the day when the eyes will be glazed.
43
مُهْطِعِينَ مُقْنِعِى رُءُوسِهِمْ لَا يَرْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِمْ طَرْفُهُمْ ۖ وَأَفْـِٔدَتُهُمْ هَوَآءٌ muhṭi`īna muqni`ī ru-ūsihim lā yartaddu ilayhim ṭarfuhum ۖ wa-af-idatuhum hawā-u Scrambling with their heads upturned, there will be a fixed gaze in their eyes, and their hearts will be vacant.
44
وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَخِّرْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَ ۗ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُوٓا۟ أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍ wa-andhirin nāsa yawma ya-tīhimul `adhābu fayaqūlul ladhīna ẓalamū rabbanā akhhirnā ilā ajalin qarībin nujib da`wataka wanattabi`ir rusul ۗ awalam takūnū aqsamtum min qablu mā lakum min zawāl Warn the people of the day when the punishment will overtake them, whereat the wrongdoers will say, ‘Our Lord! Respite us for a short time so that we may respond to Your call and follow the apostles.’ [They will be told,] ‘Did you not use to swear earlier that there would be no reverse for you,

وَسَكَنتُمْ فِى مَسَـٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ كَيْفَ فَعَلْنَا بِهِمْ وَضَرَبْنَا لَكُمُ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ wasakantum fī masākinil ladhīna ẓalamū anfusahum watabayyana lakum kayfa fa`alnā bihim waḍarabnā lakumul-amthāl while you dwelt in the dwellings of those who had wronged themselves [before], and it had been made clear to you how We had dealt with them [before you], and We had [also] cited examples for you?’
46
وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا۟ مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ ٱلْجِبَالُ waqad makarū makrahum wa`indallāhi makruhum wa in kāna makruhum litazūla minhul jibāl They certainly devised their plots, but their plots are known to Allah, and their plots are not such as to dislodge the mountains.
47
فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ ذُو ٱنتِقَامٍ falā taḥsabannallāha mukhlifa wa`dihi rusulah ۗ innallāha `azīzun dhun-tiqām So do not suppose that Allah will break His promise to His apostles. Indeed Allah is all-mighty, avenger.
48
يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ ٱلْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ ۖ وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلْوَٰحِدِ ٱلْقَهَّارِ yawma tubaddalul-arḍu ghayral-arḍi was samāwāt ۖ wabarazū lillāhil wāḥidil qahhār The day when the earth is turned into another earth and the heavens [as well], and they are presented before Allah, the One, the All-paramount

وَتَرَى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُّقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ wataral mujrimīna yawma-idhin muqarranīna fil-aṣfād —on that day you will see the guilty bound together in chains,

سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٍ وَتَغْشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ sarābīluhum min qaṭirānin wataghshā wujūhahumun nār their garments made of pitch, and the Fire covering their faces,
51
لِيَجْزِىَ ٱللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ liyajziyallāhu kulla nafsin mā kasabat ۚ innallāha sarī`ul ḥisāb so that Allah may reward every soul for what it has earned. Indeed Allah is swift at reckoning.

هَـٰذَا بَلَـٰغٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنذَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ hādhā balāghul linnāsi waliyundharū bihi waliya`lamū annamā huwa ilāhun wāḥidun waliyadhhakkara ulul-albāb This is a proclamation for mankind, so that they may be warned thereby and know that He is indeed the One God, and those who possess intellect may take admonition.
