بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

وَٱلْعَصْرِ wal `aṣr By Time!
2
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ innal-insāna lafī khusr Man is indeed in loss,
3
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ illal ladhīna āmanū wa`amiluṣ ṣāliḥāti watawāṣaw bil ḥaqqi watawāṣaw biṣ ṣabr except those who have faith and do righteous deeds, and enjoin one another to [follow] the truth, and enjoin one another to patience.
