بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
إِلٰهِيْ لَيْسَ لِيْ وَسِيْلَةٌ إِلَيْكَ إِلَّا عَوَاطِفُ رَأْفَتِكَ
ilāhī laysa lī wasīlatun ilayka illā `awāṭifu ra-fatik
My God, I have no means to approach You except through the tenderness of Your compassion
2
وَلَا لِيْ ذَرِيْعَةٌ إِلَيْكَ إِلَّا عَوَارِفُ رَحْمَتِكَ
walā lī dharī`atun ilayka illā `awārifu raḥmatik
And I have no way to reach You except through the abundance of Your mercy
3
وَشَفَاعَةُ نَبِيِّكَ نَبِيِّ الرَّحْمَةِ
washafā`atu nabiyyika nabiyyir raḥmah
And the intercession of Your Prophet, the Prophet of mercy
4
وَمُنْقِذِ الْأُمَّةِ مِنَ الْغُمَّةِ
wamunqidhil ummati minal ghummah
The savior of the nation from distress
5
فَاجْعَلْهُمَا لِيْ سَبَبًا إِلَى نَيْلِ غُفْرَانِكَ
faj`alhumā lī sababan ilā nayli ghufrānik
So make them both a means for me to attain Your forgiveness
6
وَصَيِّرْهُمَا لِيْ وُصْلَةً إِلَى الْفَوْزِ بِرِضْوَانِكَ
waṣayyir-humā lī wuṣlatan ilal fawzi biriḍwānik
And make them both a connection for me to achieve success through Your pleasure
7
وَقَدْ حَلَّ رَجَائِيْ بِحَرَمِ كَرَمِكَ
waqad ḥalla rajā-ī biḥarami karamik
My hope has descended in the sanctuary of Your generosity
8
وَحَطَّ طَمَعِيْ بِفِنَاءِ جُودِكَ
waḥaṭṭa ṭama`ī bifinā-i jūdik
And my longing has settled in the courtyard of Your bounty
9
فَحَقِّقْ فِيكَ أَمَلِي
faḥaqqiq fīka amalī
So fulfill my hopes in You
10
وَاخْتِمْ بِالْخَيْرِ عَمَلِي
wakhtim bil khayri `amalī
And seal my deeds with goodness
11
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ صَفْوَتِكَ الَّذِيْنَ أَحْلَلْتَهُمْ بُحْبُوحَةَ جَنَّتِكَ
waj`alnī min ṣafwatikal ladhīna aḥlaltahum buḥbūḥata jannatik
And make me among Your chosen ones whom You have settled in the midst of Your paradise
12
وَبَوَّأْتَهُمْ دَارَ كَرَامَتِكَ
wabawwa-tahum dāra karāmatik
And whom You have lodged in the abode of Your honor
13
وَأَقْرَرْتَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ بِالنَّظَرِ إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ لِقَائِكَ
wa-aqrar-ta a`yunahum binnaẓari ilayka yawma liqā-ik
And whose eyes You have delighted by looking at You on the day of meeting You
14
وَأَوْرَثْتَهُمْ مَنَازِلَ الصِّدْقِ فِيْ جَوَارِكَ
wa-awrathtahum manāzilaṣ ṣidqi fī jawārik
And whom You have granted dwellings of truth in Your proximity
15
يَا مَنْ لَا يَفِدُ الْوَافِدُوْنَ عَلَى أَكْرَمَ مِنْهُ
yā man lā yafidul wāfidūna `alā akrama minh
O One to whom no visitor comes to anyone more generous than Him
16
وَلَا يَجِدُ الْقَاصِدُوْنَ أَرْحَمَ مِنْهُ
walā yajidul qāṣidūna ar-ḥama minh
And no seeker finds anyone more merciful than Him
17
يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ خَلا بِهِ وَحِيدٌ
yā khayra man khalā bihi waḥīd
O Best One with whom a lonely person can be alone
18
وَيَا أَعْطَفَ مَنْ آوَىٰ إِلَيْهِ طَرِيدٌ
wayā a`ṭafa man-āwā ilayhi ṭarīd
And O Most Compassionate to whom an outcast can take refuge
19
إِلَى سَعَةِ عَفْوِكَ مَدَدْتُ يَدِي
ilā sa`ati `afwika madadtu yadī
To the vastness of Your forgiveness, I have extended my hand
20
وَبِذَيْلِ كَرَمِكَ أَعْلَقْتُ كَفِّي
wabidhayli karamika a`laqtu kaffī
And to the hem of Your generosity, I have clung with my palm
21
فَلَا تُولِنِيْ الْحِرْمَانَ
falā tūlinil ḥir-mān
So do not leave me deprived
22
وَلَا تُبْلِنِيْ بِالْخَيْبَةِ وَالْخُسْرَانِ
walā tublinī bil khaybati walkhusrān
And do not afflict me with disappointment and loss
23
يَا سَمِيعَ الدُّعَاءِ
yā samī`ad du`ā
O Hearer of supplications
24
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful
