بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

اَللَّهُمَّ نَبِّهْنِيْ فِيْهِ لِبَرَكَاتِ أَسْحَارِهِ
allāhumma nabbihnī fīhi libarakāti as-ḥārih
O Allah, awaken me during this month to the blessings of its pre-dawn hours

وَنَوِّرْ فِيْهِ قَلْبِيْ بِضِيَاءِ أَنْوَارِهِ
wanawwir fīhi qalbī biḍiyā-i anwārih
And illuminate my heart with the brightness of its lights
3
وَخُذْ بِكُلِّ أَعْضَاءِ إِلَى اتِّبَاعِ آثَارِهِ
wakhudh bikulli a`ḍā-i ilattibā`i-āthārih
And guide all my limbs to follow its traditions

بِنُوْرِكَ يَا مُنَوِّرَ قُلُوبِ العَارِفِينَ
binūrika yā munawwira qulūbil `ārifīn
By Your light, O Illuminator of the hearts of those who know You
