بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O' Allāh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

اَللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّيْ فِيْهِ عَلَى صِيَامِهِ وَقِيَامِهِ
allāhumma a`innī fīhi `alā ṣiyāmihi waqiyāmih
O Allah: on this day, [please] help me observe fasting and do acts of worship,

وَجَنِّبْنِيْ فِيْهِ مِنْ هَفَوَاتِهِ وَ آثَامِهِ
wajannibnī fīhi min hafawātihi wa āthāmih
And keep me away on this day from slips and sins,
3
وَارْزُقْنِيْ فِيْهِ ذِكْرَكَ بِدَوَامِهِ
war-zuqnī fīhi dhikraka bidawāmih
And grant me reference to You throughout it,
4
بِتَوْفِيقِكَ يَا هَادِيَ المُضِلّينَ
bitawfīqika yā hādiyal muḍillin
Out of Your guiding to success; O the Guide of the misled ones.
