بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O' Allāh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

اَللَّهُمَّ قَرِّبْنِيْ فِيْهِ إِلَى مَرْضَاتِكَ
allāhumma qarribnī fīhi ilā mar-ḍātik
O Allah: on this day, [please] take me near Your pleasure,
2
وَجَنِّبْنِيْ فِيْهِ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَنَقِمَاتِكَ
wajannibnī fīhi min sakhaṭika wanaqimātik
And [please] keep me away on it from Your wrath and punishments,
3
وَوَفِّقْنِيْ فِيْهِ لِقِرَاءَةِ آيَاتِكَ
wawaffiqnī fīhi liqirā-ati-āyātik
And [please] make me succeed in reciting Your verses,
4
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَاأَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
biraḥmatika yā-ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
By Your mercy; O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
