لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
lā ilāha illallāh
There is no god but Allah
2
وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ
waḥdahu lā sharīka lah
Alone without any partner
3
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ
lahul mulku walahul ḥamd
To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise
4
يُحْيِيْ وَيُمِيْتُ
yuḥyī wayumīt
He gives life and causes death
5
وَيُمِيْتُ وَيُحْيِيْ
wayumītu wayuḥyī
And He causes death and gives life
6
وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوْتُ
wahuwa ḥayyun lā yamūt
And He is Ever-Living, never dies
7
بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ
biyadihil khayr
In His Hand is all good
8
وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
wahuwa `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
And He has power over all things
