اَللَّهُمَّ مَنْ اَصْبَحَ وَاَمْسَى
allāhumma man aṣbaḥa wa-amsā
O Allah, whoever has begun and ended his day
2
وَلَهُ ثِقَةٌ وَرَجَاءٌ غَيْرُكَ
walahu thiqatun warajā-un ghayruk
with trust and hope in other than You
3
فَاَنْتَ ثِقَتِيْ وَرَجَائِيْ
fa-anta thiqatī warajā-ī
Then surely You are my trust and my hope
4
يَا اَجْوَدَ مَنْ سُئِلَ
yā ajwada man su-il
O most generous of those who are asked
5
وَيَا اَرْحَمَ مَنِ اسْتُرْحِمَ
wayā ar-ḥama manistur-ḥim
And O most merciful of those from whom mercy is sought
6
اِرْحَمْ ضَعْفِيْ وَمَسْكَنَتِيْ
ir-ḥam ḍa`fī wamaskanatī
Have mercy on my weakness and my destitution
7
وَقِلَّةَ حِيْلَتِيْ
waqillata ḥīlatī
And my lack of means
