وَوَطِّىءْ قَدَمَيَّ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْاَخِرَةِ wawaṭṭī-qadamayya fid dunyā wal-akhirah And establish my foothold firmly in this world and the Hereafter

وَثَبِّتْهُمَا عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ الْمُسْتَقِيْمِ wathabbit-humā `alaṣ ṣirāṭil mustaqīm And make them steadfast on the Straight Path

يَوْمَ تَزِلَّ فِيْهِ الْاَقْدَامُ yawma tazilla fīhil aqdām On the Day when feet shall slip
