اَللَّهُمَّ اَعِنِّيْ عَلَى هَوْلِ الْمُطَّلَعِ
allāhumma a`innī `alā hawlil muṭṭala`
O Allah, help me with the terror of the grave
2
وَوَسِّعْ عَلَيَّ ضِيقَ الْمَضْجَعِ
wawassi` `alayya ḍīqal maḍja`
And widen for me the narrowness of the resting place
3
وَارْزُقْنِيْ خَيْرَ مَا قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ
war-zuqnī khayra mā qablal mawt
And grant me the best of what is before death
4
وَارْزُقْنِيْ خَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ
war-zuqnī khayra mā ba`dal mawt
And grant me the best of what is after death
