بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
1
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، إِلٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَ نَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُوْنَ
lā ilāha illallāh, ilāhan wāḥidan wa naḥnu lahu muslimūn
There is no god but Allah, the One God, and we are submitting to Him
2
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَ لَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ، مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ، وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُوْنَ
lā ilāha illallāh, wa lā na`budu illā iyyāh, mukhliṣīna lahud dīn, walaw karihal mushrikūn
There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him, dedicating our faith purely to Him, even if the polytheists detest it
3
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، رَبُّنَا وَ رَبُّ آبَائِنَا الْاَوَّلِيْنَ
lā ilāha illallāh, rabbunā wa rabbu-ābā-inal awwalīn
There is no god but Allah, our Lord and the Lord of our forefathers
4
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ وَحْدَهُ، أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ، وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ، وَأَعَزَّ جُنْدَهُ
lā ilāha illallāh, waḥdahu waḥdahu waḥdah, anjaza wa`dah, wanaṣara `abdah, wa-a`azza jundah
There is no god but Allah, Alone, Alone, Alone, He fulfilled His promise, supported His servant, and strengthened His soldiers
5
وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ، فَلَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ
wahazamal aḥzāba waḥdah, falahul mulk, walahul ḥamd
And He alone defeated the confederates, to Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise
6
يُحْيِيْ وَيُمِيْتُ، وَيُمِيْتُ وَيُحْيِيْ
yuḥyī wayumīt, wayumītu wayuḥyī
He gives life and causes death, and causes death and gives life
7
وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوْتُ، بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
wahuwa ḥayyun lā yamūt, biyadihil khayr, wahuwa `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
And He is Ever-Living and never dies, in His Hand is all good, and He has power over all things
