بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah bless Muhammad and his family
1
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ
allāhumma innī as-aluk
O Allah I ask from You
2
وَ لَمْ يُسْئَلْ مِثْلُكَ
wa lam yus-al mithluk
and there is none like You who is asked
3
اَنْتَ مَوْضِعُ مَسْئَلَةِ السَّائِلِيْنَ
anta mawḍi`u mas-alatis sā-ilīn
You are the Object of the seeking of the seekers
4
وَ مُنْتَهَى رَغْبَةِ الرَّاغِبِيْنَ
wa muntahā raghbatir rāghibīn
and the ultimate aim of the desire of the desirers
5
اَدْعُوْكَ وَلَمْ يُدْعَ مِثْلُكَ
ad`ūka walam yud`a mithluk
I call to You for there is none like You who is called
6
وَ اَرْغَبُ اِلَيْكَ
wa ar-ghabu ilayk
and I wish from You
7
وَ لَمْ يُرْغَبْ اِلَى مِثْلِكَ
wa lam yur-ghab ilā mithlik
for there is none like You who is wished from
8
اَنْتَ مُجِيْبُ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّيْنَ
anta mujību da`watil muḍṭarrīn
You are the One who answers the call of the distressed,
9
وَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
wa ar-ḥamur rāḥimīn
and the most Merciful
10
اَسْأَلُكَ بِأَفْضَلِ الْمَسَائِلِ
as-aluka bi-afḍalil masā-il
I ask You, by the best of requests
11
وَ اَنْجَحِهَا وَ اَعْظَمِهَا
wa anjaḥihā wa a`ẓamihā
and the most successful of them and the most mighty of them
12
يَا اَللَّهُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيْمُ
yā allāhu yā raḥmānu yā raḥīm
O Allah O Beneficent O Merciful
13
وَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الْحُسْنَى
wa bi-asmā-ikal ḥusnā
by Your beautiful names
14
وَ اَمْثَالِكَ الْعُلْيَا
wa amthālikal `ulyā
and Your elevated examples
15
وَ نِعْمَتِكَ الَّتِيْ لَا تُحْصَى
wa ni`matikal latī lā tuḥṣā
and Your favors which cannot be counted
16
وَ بِأَكْرَمِ اَسْمَائِكَ
wa bi-akrami asmā-ik
and by the most noble of Your names
17
وَ اَحَبِّهَا اِلَيْكَ
wa aḥabbihā ilayk
and the ones You love most
18
وَ اَقْرَبِهَا مِنْكَ وَسِيْلَةً
wa aqrabihā minka wasīlah
and the ones closest to You in means
19
وَ اَشْرَفِهَا عِنْدَكَ مَنْزِلَةً
wa ashrafihā `indaka manzilah
and the one most honored with You in status
20
وَ اَجْزَلِهَا لَدَيْكَ ثَوَابًا
wa ajzalihā ladayka thawābā
and most plentiful with You in reward
21
وَ اَسْرَعِهَا فِيْ الْاُمُوْرِ اِجَابَةً
wa asra`ihā fil umūri ijābah
and ones fastest in getting an answer in the matters
22
وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْمَكْنُوْنِ الْاَكْبَرِ
wa bismikal maknūnil akbar
and by Your hidden name the Greatest,
23
اَلْاَعَزِّ الْاَجَلِّ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَكْرَمِ
al a`azzil ajallil a`ẓamil akram
the most Honorable, the most Glorious, the Mighty, the Generous
24
اَلَّذِيْ تُحِبُّهُ وَ تَهْوَاهُ
al ladhī tuḥibbuhu wa tahwāh
the one which You like and the one You want
25
وَ تَرْضَى بِهِ عَمَّنْ دَعَاكَ
wa tar-ḍā bihi `amman da`āk
and the one that makes You pleased with the one who calls You
26
فَاسْتَجَبْتَ لَهُ دُعَائَهُ
fastajabta lahu du`ā-ah
so You answer his prayer
27
وَ حَقٌّ عَلَيْكَ اَنْ لَا تَحْرِمَ سَائِلَكَ
wa ḥaqqun `alayka an lā taḥrima sā-ilak
and it is right that You do not deny the one who asks from you
28
وَ لَا تَرُدَّهُ
wa lā taruddah
and do not reject him
29
وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ فِيْ التَّوْرَاتِ وَ الْاِنْجِيْلِ
wa bikullismin huwa laka fit tawrāti wal injīl
and by every name that is with You in Tawrat and Injil
30
وَ الزَّبُوْرِ وَ الْفُرْقَانِ الْعَظِيْمِ
waz zabūri wal fur-qānil `aẓīm
and Zabur and the Noble Qur’an
31
وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ دَعَاكَ بِهِ حَمَلَةُ عَرْشِكَ وَ مَلَائِكَتُكَ
wa bikullismin da`āka bihi ḥamalatu `ar-shika wa malā-ikatuk
and by every name that the carriers of Your throne and the angels
32
وَ اَنْبِيَاؤُكَ وَ رُسُلُكَ
wa anbiya-uka wa rusuluk
and Your Prophets and Your Messengers
33
وَ اَهْلُ طَاعَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
wa ahlu ṭā`atika min khalqik
and the obedient ones from Your creation have called You with
34
اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
[I ask] that You bless Muhammad and his family
35
وَ اَنْ تُعَجِّلَ فَرَجَ وَلِيِّكَ
wa an tu`ajjila faraja waliyyik
and that You hasten the appearance of your vicegerent [Wali]
36
وَ تُعَجِّلَ خِزْيَ اَعْدَائِهِ
wa tu`ajjila khizya a`dā-ih
and that You hasten the humiliation of his enemies
37
وَ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِيْ
wa an taf`ala bī
and that you do for me
