بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اِلٰهِيْ تَعَرَّضَ لَكَ فِيْ هٰذَا اللَّيْلِ الْمُتَعَرِّضُوْنَ
ilāhī ta`arraḍa laka fī hādhal laylil muta`arriḍūn
My God, on this night, the seekers turn to You
2
وَ قَصَدَكَ فِيْهِ الْقَاصِدُوْنَ
wa qaṣadaka fīhil qāṣidūn
And those with intent aim toward You
3
وَ اَمَّلَ فَضْلَكَ وَ مَعْرُوْفَكَ الطَّالِبُوْنَ
wa ammala faḍlaka wa ma`rūfakaṭ ṭālibūn
And those who seek hope for Your grace and Your kindness
4
وَ لَكَ فِيْ هٰذَا اللَّيْلِ نَفَحَاتٌ
wa laka fī hādhal layli nafaḥāt
And for You in this night are special gifts
5
وَ جَوَائِزُ وَ عَطَايَا وَ مَوَاهِبُ
wa jawā-izu wa `aṭāyā wa mawāhib
And rewards and grants and bestowals
6
تَمُنُّ بِهَا عَلَى مَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ
tamunnu bihā `alā man tashā-u min `ibādik
You bestow them upon whomever You will among Your servants
7
وَ تَمْنَعُهَا مَنْ لَمْ تَسْبِقُ لَهُ الْعِنَايَةُ مِنْكَ
wa tamna`uhā man lam tasbiqu lahul `ināyatu mink
And You withhold them from those who have not received Your prior care
8
وَ هَا اَنَا ذَا عُبَيْدُكَ الْفَقِيْرُ اِلَيْكَ
wa hā ana dhā `ubaydukal faqīru ilayk
And here I am, Your humble servant, in need of You
9
اَلْمُؤَمِّلُ فَضْلَكَ وَ مَعْرُوْفَكَ
al mu-ammilu faḍlaka wa ma`rūfak
Hoping for Your grace and Your kindness
10
فَإِنْ كُنْتَ يَا مَوْلَايَ تَفَضَّلْتَ فِيْ هٰذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ
fa-in kunta yā mawlāya tafaḍḍalta fī hādhihil laylah
So if You, O my Master, have bestowed favors on this night
11
عَلَى اَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
`alā aḥadin min khalqik
Upon anyone of Your creation
12
وَ عُدْتَ عَلَيْهِ بِعَائِدَةٍ مِنْ عَطْفِكَ
wa `udta `alayhi bi`ā-idatin min `aṭfik
And granted them a portion of Your compassion
13
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
Then send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
14
اَلطَّيِّبِيْنَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ الْخَيِّرِيْنَ الْفَاضِلِيْنَ
aṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīnal khayyirīnal fāḍilīn
The good, the pure, the excellent, the virtuous
15
وَ جُدْ عَلَيَّ بِطَوْلِكَ وَ مَعْرُوْفِكَ
wa jud `alayya biṭawlika wa ma`rūfik
And be generous to me with Your favor and Your kindness
16
يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ
yā rabbal `ālamīna wa ṣallallāhu `alā muḥammad
O Lord of the worlds, and may Allah bless Muhammad
17
خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْمًا
khātamin nabiyyīna wa-ālihiṭ ṭāhirīna wa sallama taslīmā
The seal of the Prophets and his pure family, and grant them peace
18
اِنَّ اللَّهَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ
innallāha ḥamīdun majīd
Indeed, Allah is Praiseworthy and Glorious
19
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَدْعُوْكَ كَمَا اَمَرْتَ فَاسْتَجِبْ لِيْ كَمَا وَعَدْتَ
allāhumma innī ad`ūka kamā amar-ta fastajib lī kamā wa`adt
O Allah, I call upon You as You have commanded, so answer me as You have promised
20
اِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيْعَادَ
innaka lā tukhliful mī`ād
Verily, You do not break Your promise
