بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الْأَوَّلِ قَبْلَ الْإِنْشَاءِ وَالْإِحْيَاءِ
al ḥamdu lillāhil awwali qablal inshā-i wal-iḥyā
All praise be to Allah, the First before creation and giving life
2
وَالْآخِرِ بَعْدَ فَنَاءِ الْأَشْيَاءِ
wal-ākhiri ba`da fanā-il ashyā
And the Last after the annihilation of all things
3
اَلْعَلِيمِ الَّذِيْ لَايَنْسٰى مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ
al `alīmil ladhī lāyansā man dhakarah
The All-Knowing who does not forget those who remember Him
4
وَلَا يَنْقُصُ مَنْ شَكَرَهُ
walā yanquṣu man shakarah
And does not reduce the reward of those who thank Him
5
وَلَا يَخِيبُ مَنْ دَعَاهُ
walā yakhību man da`āh
And does not disappoint those who call upon Him
6
وَلَا يَقْطَعُ رَجَاءَ مَنْ رَجَاهُ
walā yaqṭa`u rajā-a man rajāh
And does not cut off the hope of those who hope in Him
7
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ
allāhumma innī ush-hiduk
O Allah, I call You to witness
8
وَكَفىٰ بِكَ شَهِيدًا
wakafā bika shahīdā
And You are sufficient as a witness
9
وَأُشْهِدُ جَمِيعَ مَلَائِكَتِكَ
wa-ush-hidu jamī`a malā-ikatik
And I call to witness all Your angels
10
وَسُكَّانَ سَمٰوَاتِكَ
wasukkāna samāwātik
And the inhabitants of Your heavens
11
وَحَمَلَةِ عَرْشِكَ
waḥamalati `ar-shik
And the bearers of Your Throne
12
وَمَنْ بَعَثْتَ مِنْ أَنْبِيَائِكَ وَ رُسُلِكَ
waman ba`athta min anbiyā-ika wa rusulik
And those whom You have sent from Your prophets and messengers
13
وَأَنْشَأْتَ مِنْ أَصْنَافِ خَلْقِكَ
wa-ansha-ta min aṣnāfi khalqik
And created from the varieties of Your creation
14
أَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ
annī ash-hadu annaka antallāh
That I bear witness that You are Allah
15
لَاإِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ
la-ilāha illā anta waḥdak
There is no god except You alone
16
لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ وَ لَا عَدِيلَ
lā sharīka laka wa lā `adīl
You have no partner and no equal
17
وَلَا خُلْفَ لِقَوْلِكَ وَلَا تَبْدِيلَ
walā khulfa liqawlika walā tabdīl
And there is no breaking of Your word and no changing
18
وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ
wa-anna muḥammadan ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālihi `abduka warasūluk
And that Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, is Your servant and messenger
19
أَدَّىٰ مَا حَمَّلْتَهُ إِلَى الْعِبَادِ
addā mā ḥammaltahu ilal `ibād
He delivered what You entrusted him with to the servants
20
وَجَاهَدَ فِيْ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَقَّ الْجِهَادِ
wajāhada fillāhi `azza wajalla ḥaqqal jihād
And he strived in the way of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with true striving
21
وَأَنَّهُ بَشَّرَ بِمَا هُوَ حَقٌّ مِنَ الثَّوَابِ
wa-annahu bashhara bimā huwa ḥaqqun minath thawāb
And he gave glad tidings of what is true of the reward
22
وَأَنْذَرَ بِمَا هُوَ صِدْقٌ مِنَ الْعِقَابِ
wa-andhara bimā huwa ṣidqun minal `iqāb
And warned of what is true of the punishment
23
اَللّٰهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِيْ عَلَى دِينِكَ مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي
allāhumma thabbitnī `alā dīnika mā aḥyaytanī
O Allah, keep me firm on Your religion as long as You keep me alive
24
وَلَا تُزِغْ قَلْبِىْ بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنِي
walā tuzigh qalbī ba`da idh hadaytanī
And do not let my heart deviate after You have guided me
25
وَهَبْ لِيْ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً
wahab lī min ladunka raḥmah
And grant me mercy from Your presence
26
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
innaka antal wahhāb
Indeed, You are the Bestower
27
صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلٰى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa`alā-āli muḥammad
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
28
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ أَتْبَاعِهِ وَشِيعَتِهِ
waj`alnī min atbā`ihi washī`atih
And make me among his followers and his Shia
29
وَاحْشُرْنِيْ فِيْ زُمْرَتِهِ
waḥshur-nī fī zumratih
And gather me in his company
30
وَوَفِّقْنِيْ لِأَدَاءِ فَرْضِ الْجُمُعَاتِ
wawaffiqnī li-adā-i far-ḍil jumu`āt
And grant me success in performing the obligation of Friday prayers
31
وَمَا أَوْجَبْتَ عَلَيَّ فِيهَا مِنَ الطَّاعَاتِ
wamā awjabta `alayya fīhā minaṭ ṭā`āt
And what You have made obligatory upon me of acts of obedience
32
وَقَسَمْتَ لِأَهْلِهَا مِنَ الْعَطَاءِ
waqasamta li-ahlihā minal `aṭā
And what You have apportioned for its people of gifts
33
فِيْ يَوْمِ الْجَزَاءِ
fī yawmil jazā
On the Day of Recompense
34
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ
innaka antal `azīzul ḥakīm
Indeed, You are the Mighty, the Wise
