بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ أَذْهَبَ اللَّيْلَ مُظْلِمًا بِقُدْرَتِهِ
al ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī adh-habal layla muẓliman biqudratih
All praise is for Allah who removed the darkness of night by His power
2
وَجَاءَ بِالنَّهَارِ مُبْصِرًا بِرَحْمَتِهِ
wajā-a binnahāri mubṣiran biraḥmatih
And brought the day with light by His mercy
3
وَكَسَانِيْ ضِيَاءَهُ وَأَنَا فِيْ نِعْمَتِهِ
wakasānī ḍiyā-ahu wa-ana fī ni`matih
And clothed me in its brightness while I am in His blessing
4
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَكَمَا أَبْقَيْتَنِيْ لَهُ فَأَبْقِنِيْ لِأَمْثَالِهِ
allāhumma fakamā abqaytanī lahu fa-abqinī li-amthālih
O Allah, as You have kept me alive for this day, keep me alive for similar days
5
وَصَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
waṣalli `alan nabiyyi muḥammadin wa ālih
And send blessings upon Prophet Muhammad and his family
6
وَلَا تَفْجَعْنِيْ فِيهِ وَفِيْ غَيْرِهِ
walā tafja`nī fīhi wafī ghayrih
And do not afflict me in this day or other days
7
مِنَ اللَّيَالِيْ وَالْأَيَّامِ
minal layālī wal-ayyām
From the nights and the days
8
بِارْتِكَابِ الْمَحَارِمِ
bir-tikābil maḥārim
By committing forbidden acts
9
وَاكْتِسَابِ الْمَآثِمِ
waktisābil ma-āthim
And earning sins
10
وَارْزُقْنِيْ خَيْرَهُ
war-zuqnī khayrah
And grant me its goodness
11
وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهِ
wakhayra mā fīh
And the goodness that is in it
12
وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ
wakhayra mā ba`dah
And the goodness that comes after it
13
وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّيْ شَرَّهُ
waṣrif `annī sharrah
And turn away from me its evil
14
وَشَرَّ مَا فِيهِ
washarra mā fīh
And the evil that is in it
15
وَشَرَّ مَا بَعْدَهُ
washarra mā ba`dah
And the evil that comes after it
16
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي بِذِمَّةِ الْإِسْلاَمِ أَتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيْكَ
allāhumma innī bidhimmatil islāmi atawassalu ilayk
O Allah, I seek means to You through the covenant of Islam
17
وَبِحُرْمَةِ الْقُرْآنِ أَعْتَمِدُ عَلَيْكَ
wabiḥur-matil qur-āni a`tamidu `alayk
And by the sanctity of the Quran I rely upon You
18
وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ الْمُصْطَفَى
wabimuḥammadinil muṣṭafā
And through Muhammad, the Chosen One
19
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family
20
أَسْتَشْفِعُ لَدَيْكَ
astashfi`u ladayk
I seek intercession with You
21
فَاعْرِفِ اللَّهُمَّ ذِمَّتِي
fa`rifillāhumma dhimmatī
So recognize, O Allah, my covenant
22
اَلَّتِيْ رَجَوْتُ بِهَا قَضَاءَ حَاجَتِيْ
al latī rajawtu bihā qaḍā-a ḥājatī
By which I hope for the fulfillment of my needs
23
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful ones
24
اَللّٰهُمَّ اقْضِ لِيْ فِيْ الْخَمِيْسِ خَمْسًا
allāhummaqḍi lī fil khamīsi khamsā
O Allah, fulfill for me on Thursday five things
25
لَايَتَّسِعُ لَهَا إِلَّا كَرَمُكَ
lāyattasi`u lahā illā karamuk
For which only Your generosity is sufficient
26
وَلَا يُطِيْقُهَا إِلَّا نِعَمُكَ
walā yuṭīquhā illā ni`amuk
And only Your favors can encompass
27
سَلَامَةً أَقْوٰى بِهَا عَلٰى طَاعَتِكَ
salāmatan aqwā bihā `alā ṭā`atik
Safety by which I can be strengthened in Your obedience
28
وَعِبَادَةً أَسْتَحِقُّ بِهَا جَزِيْلَ مَثُوبَتِكَ
wa`ibādatan astaḥiqqu bihā jazīla mathūbatik
And worship by which I deserve Your abundant reward
29
وَسَعَةً فِيْ الْحَالِ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ الْحَلَالِ
wasa`atan fil ḥāli minar rizqil ḥalāl
And abundance in the state of lawful sustenance
30
وَأَن تُؤْمِنَنِيْ فِيْ مَوَاقِفِ الْخَوْفِ بِأَمْنِكَ
wa-an tu-minanī fī mawāqifil khawfi bi-amnik
And that You grant me security in times of fear through Your protection
31
وَتَجْعَلَنِيْ مِنْ طَوَارِقِ الْهُمُومِ وَالْغُمُومِ فِيْ حِصْنِكَ
wataj`alanī min ṭawāriqil humūmi walghumūmi fī ḥiṣnik
And place me in Your fortress from the onslaughts of worries and sorrows
32
وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
wa ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
And send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
33
وَاجْعَلْ تَوَسُّلِيْ بِهِ شَافِعًا
waj`al tawassulī bihi shāfi`ā
And make my seeking means through him an intercessor
34
يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ نَافِعًا
yawmal qiyāmati nāfi`ā
On the Day of Resurrection, beneficial
35
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
innaka anta ar-ḥamur rāḥimīn
Indeed, You are the Most Merciful of the merciful ones
