بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
al ḥamdu lillāh
All praise is for Allah
2
وَالْحَمْدُ حَقُّهُ كَمَا يَسْتَحِقُّهُ
walḥamdu ḥaqquhu kamā yastaḥiqquh
And praise is His right as He deserves it
3
حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا
ḥamdan kathīrā
Abundant praise
4
وَأَعُوذُ بِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي
wa-a`ūdhu bihi min sharri nafsī
And I seek refuge in Him from the evil of my soul
5
إِنَّ النَّفْسَ لَأَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوْءِ
innan nafsa la-ammāratun bissū
Indeed, the soul is inclined to evil
6
إِلَّا مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّي
illā mā raḥima rabbī
Except that upon which my Lord has mercy
7
وَأَعُوذُ بِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ
wa-a`ūdhu bihi min sharrish shayṭān
And I seek refuge in Him from the evil of Satan
8
اَلَّذِيْ يَزِيدُنِيْ ذَنْبًا إِلٰى ذَنْبِيْ
al ladhī yazīdunī dhanban ilā dhanbī
Who increases me in sin upon sin
9
وَأَحْتَرِزُ بِهِ مِنْ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ فَاجِرٍ
wa-aḥtarizu bihi min kulli jabbārin fājir
And I seek protection with Him from every oppressive wrongdoer
10
وَسُلْطَانٍ جَائِرٍ
wasulṭānin jā-ir
And from every unjust ruler
11
وَعَدُوٍّ قَاهِرٍ
wa`aduwwin qāhir
And from every overpowering enemy
12
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ جُنْدِكَ
allāhummaj`alnī min jundik
O Allah, make me among Your soldiers
13
فَإِنَّ جُنْدَكَ هُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ
fa-inna jundaka humul ghālibūn
For indeed Your soldiers are the victorious ones
14
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ حِزْبِكَ
waj`alnī min ḥizbik
And make me among Your party
15
فَإِنَّ حِزْبَكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
fa-inna ḥizbaka humul mufliḥūn
For indeed Your party are the successful ones
16
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
waj`alnī min awliyā-ik
And make me among Your friends
17
فَإِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَكَ لَاخَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
fa-inna awliyā-aka lākhawfun `alayhim walā hum yaḥzanūn
For indeed Your friends shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve
18
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِيْ دِينِي
allāhumma aṣliḥ lī dīnī
O Allah, rectify for me my religion
19
فَإِنَّهُ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِيْ
fa-innahu `iṣmatu amrī
For it is the protection of my affairs
20
وَأَصْلِحْ لِيْ آخِرَتِيْ
wa-aṣliḥ lī-ākhiratī
And rectify for me my Hereafter
21
فَإِنَّهَا دَارُ مَقَرِّي
fa-innahā dāru maqarrī
For it is my permanent abode
22
وَإِلَيْهَا مِنْ مُجَاوَرَةِ اللِّئَامِ مَفَرِّي
wa-ilayhā min mujāwaratil li-āmi mafarrī
And to it, from the company of the wicked, is my escape
23
وَاجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ زِيَادَةً لِيْ فِيْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ
waj`alil ḥayāta ziyādatan lī fī kulli khayr
And make life an increase for me in every good
24
وَالْوَفَاةَ رَاحَةً لِيْ مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ
walwafāta rāḥatan lī min kulli sharr
And make death a rest for me from every evil
25
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad
26
خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ
khātamin nabiyyīn
The seal of the Prophets
27
وَتَمَامِ عِدَّةِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
watamāmi `iddatil mur-salīn
And the completion of the number of Messengers
28
وَعَلٰى آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
wa`alā-ālihiṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīn
And upon his pure and purified family
29
وَأَصْحَابِهِ الْمُنْتَجَبِينَ
wa-aṣ-ḥābihil muntajabīn
And his chosen companions
30
وَهَبْ لِيْ فِيْ الثُّلَثَاءِ ثَلَاثًا
wahab lī fith thulathā-i thalāthā
And grant me on Tuesday three things
31
لَاتَدَعْ لِيْ ذَنْبًا إِلَّا غَفَرْتَهُ
lātada` lī dhanban illā ghafar-tah
Leave not any sin for me except that You forgive it
32
وَلَا غَمًّا إِلَّا أَذْهَبْتَهُ
walā ghamman illā adh-habtah
Nor any distress except that You remove it
33
وَلَا عَدُوًّا إِلَّا دَفَعْتَهُ
walā `aduwwan illā dafa`tah
Nor any enemy except that You repel it
34
بِبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَيْرِ الْأَسْمَاءِ
bibismillāhi khayril asmā
By "In the name of Allah," the best of names
35
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ
bismillāhi rabbil ar-ḍi was samā
In the name of Allah, Lord of the earth and the heaven
36
أَسْتَدْفِعُ كُلَّ مَكْرُوهٍ أَوَّلُهُ سَخَطُهُ
astadfi`u kulla makrūhin awwaluhu sakhaṭuh
I seek to repel every disliked thing, the beginning of which is His anger
37
وَأَسْتَجْلِبُ كُلَّ مَحْبُوبٍ أَوَّلُهُ رِضَاهُ
wa-astajlibu kulla maḥbūbin awwaluhu riḍāh
And I seek to attract every beloved thing, the beginning of which is His pleasure
38
فَاخْتِمْ لِيْ مِنْكَ بِالْغُفْرَانِ
fakhtim lī minka bil ghufrān
So seal for me from You with forgiveness
39
يَا وَلِيَّ الْإِحْسَانِ
yā waliyyal iḥsān
O Guardian of Benevolence
