بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
allāhumma rabba shahri ramaḍān
O Allah, Lord of the month of Ramadan
2
اَلَّذِيْ أَنْزَلْتَ فِيْهِ الْقُرْآنَ
al ladhī anzalta fīhil qur-ān
In which You revealed the Quran
3
وَافْتَرَضْتَ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ فِيْهِ الصِّيَامَ
waftaraḍta `alā `ibādika fīhiṣ ṣiyām
And You made fasting obligatory upon Your servants
4
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
5
وَارْزُقْنِيْ حَجَّ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ
war-zuqnī ḥajja baytikal ḥarām
And grant me the pilgrimage to Your Sacred House
6
فِيْ عَامِيْ هٰذَا وَفِيْ كُلِّ عَامٍ
fī `āmī hādhā wafī kulli `ām
In this year and in every year
7
وَاغْفِرْ لِيْ تِلْكَ الذُّنُوبَ الْعِظَامَ
waghfir lī tilkadh dhunūbal `iẓām
And forgive me for those great sins
8
فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُهَا غَيْرُكَ
fa-innahu lā yaghfiruhā ghayruk
For no one can forgive them except You
9
يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا عَلَّامُ
yā raḥmānu yā `allām
O Most Merciful, O All-Knowing
