بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
إِلٰهِيْ هٰذِهِ صَلاَتِيْ صَلَّيْتُهَا
ilāhī hādhihi ṣalātī ṣallaytuhā
My God, this prayer which I have offered
2
لَا لِحَاجَةٍ مِنْكَ إِلَيْهَا
lā liḥājatin minka ilayhā
Is not because You are in need of it
3
وَلَا رَغْبَةٍ مِنْكَ فِيْهَا
walā raghbatin minka fīhā
Nor because You desire it
4
إِلَّا تَعْظِيْمًا وَطَاعَةً
illā ta`ẓīman waṭā`ah
But out of reverence and obedience
5
وَإِجَابَةً لَكَ إِلَى مَا أَمَرْتَنِيْ بِهِ
wa-ijābatan laka ilā mā amar-tanī bih
And in response to what You have commanded me
6
إِلٰهِيْ إِنْ كَانَ فِيْهَا خَلَلٌ أَوْ نَقْصٌ
ilāhī in kāna fīhā khalalun aw naqṣ
My God, if there are any flaws or deficiencies in it
7
مِنْ رُكُوْعِهَا أَوْ سُجُوْدِهَا
min rukū`ihā aw sujūdihā
In its bowing or prostration
8
فَلَا تُؤَاخِذْنِيْ
falā tu-ākhidhnī
Then do not hold me accountable
9
وَتَفَضَّلْ عَلَيَّ بِالْقَبُوْلِ وَالْغُفْرَانِ
watafaḍḍal `alayya bil qabūli walghufrān
And graciously bestow upon me Your acceptance and forgiveness
