بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
أُعِيذُ نَفْسيْ وَدِيْنِي
u`īdhu nafsy wadīnī
I seek protection for myself and my faith
2
وَ أَهْلِيْ وَمَالِي
wa ahlī wamālī
And my family and my wealth
3
وَوَلَدِيْ وَإِخْوَانِيْ فِيْ دِينِي
wawaladī wa-ikhwānī fī dīnī
And my children and my brothers in faith
4
وَمَا رَزَقَنِيْ رَبِّيْ وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِي
wamā razaqanī rabbī wakhawātīma `amalī
And what my Lord has provided me and the outcomes of my deeds
5
وَمَنْ يَعْنِينِيْ أَمْرُهُ
waman ya`nīnī amruh
And those whose affairs concern me
6
بِاللَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ
billāhil wāḥid
With Allah, the One
7
اَلْاَحَدِ الصَّمَدِ
al aḥadiṣ ṣamad
The Unique, the Eternal
8
اَلَّذِيْ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
al ladhī lam yalid walam yūlad
Who begets not, nor is He begotten
9
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
walam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad
And there is none like unto Him
10
وَبِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
wabirabbil falaq
And by the Lord of the daybreak
11
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
min sharri mā khalaq
From the evil of what He has created
12
وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
wamin sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
13
وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِيْ الْعُقَدِ
wamin sharrin naffāthāti fil `uqad
And from the evil of those who blow on knots
14
وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
wamin sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad
And from the evil of the envier when he envies
15
وَبِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
wabirabbin nās
And by the Lord of mankind
16
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
malikin nās
The King of mankind
17
إِلٰهِ النَّاسِ
ilāhin nās
The God of mankind
18
مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
min sharril waswāsil khannās
From the evil of the retreating whisperer
19
اَلَّذِيْ يُوَسْوِسُ فِيْ صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
al ladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūrin nās
Who whispers into the hearts of mankind
20
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
minal jinnati wan nās
From among the jinn and mankind
