بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
إِلٰهِيْ كَسْرِيْ لَا يَجْبُرُهُ إِلَّا لُطْفُكَ وَحَنَانُكَ
ilāhī kasrī lā yajburuhu illā luṭfuka waḥanānuk
My God, my brokenness cannot be mended except by Your kindness and compassion
2
وَفَقْرِيْ لَا يُغْنِيهِ إِلَّا عَطْفُكَ وَإِحْسَانُكَ
wafaqrī lā yughnīhi illā `aṭfuka wa-iḥsānuk
And my poverty cannot be enriched except by Your sympathy and favor
3
وَرَوْعَتِيْ لَا يُسَكِّنُهَا إِلَّا أَمَانُكَ
waraw`atī lā yusakkinuhā illā amānuk
And my fear cannot be calmed except by Your security
4
وَذِلَّتِيْ لَا يُعِزُّهَا إِلَّا سُلْطَانُكَ
wadhillatī lā yu`izzuhā illā sulṭānuk
And my humiliation cannot be honored except by Your authority
5
وَأُمْنِيَتِيْ لَا يُبَلِّغُنِيهَا إِلَّا فَضْلُكَ
wa-umniyatī lā yuballighunīhā illā faḍluk
And my wishes cannot be fulfilled except by Your grace
6
وَخَلَّتِيْ لَا يَسُدُّهَا إِلَّا طَوْلُكَ
wakhallatī lā yasudduhā illā ṭawluk
And my needs cannot be satisfied except by Your generosity
7
وَحَاجَتِيْ لَا يَقْضِيهَا غَيْرُكَ
waḥājatī lā yaqḍīhā ghayruk
And my request cannot be granted by anyone other than You
8
وَكَرْبِيْ لَا يُفَرِّجُهُ سِوَىٰ رَحْمَتِكَ
wakar-bī lā yufarrijuhu siwā raḥmatik
And my distress cannot be relieved except by Your mercy
9
وَضُرِّيْ لَا يَكْشِفُهُ غَيْرُ رَأْفَتِكَ
waḍurrī lā yakshifuhu ghayru ra-fatik
And my harm cannot be removed except by Your compassion
10
وَغُلَّتِيْ لَا يُبَرِّدُهَا إِلَّا وَصْلُكَ
waghullatī lā yubarriduhā illā waṣluk
And my burning thirst cannot be quenched except by Your connection
11
وَلَوْعَتِيْ لَا يُطْفِيهَا إِلَّا لِقَاؤُكَ
walaw`atī lā yuṭfīhā illā liqa-uk
And my anguish cannot be extinguished except by meeting You
12
وَشَوْقِيْ إِلَيْكَ لَا يَبُلُّهُ إِلَّا النَّظَرُ إِلَى وَجْهِكَ
washawqī ilayka lā yabulluhu illan naẓaru ilā wajhik
And my longing for You cannot be satisfied except by gazing at Your face
13
وَقَرَارِيْ لَا يَقِرُّ دُوْنَ دُنُوِّيْ مِنْكَ
waqarārī lā yaqirru dūna dunuwwī mink
And my restlessness cannot be settled without being near to You
14
وَلَهْفَتِيْ لَا يَرُدُّهَا إِلَّا رَوْحُكَ
walahfatī lā yarudduhā illā rawḥuk
And my yearning cannot be repelled except by Your comfort
15
وَسُقْمِيْ لَا يَشْفِيْهِ إِلَّا طِبُّكَ
wasuqmī lā yashfīhi illā ṭibbuk
And my illness cannot be healed except by Your medicine
16
وَغَمِّيْ لَا يُزِيلُهُ إِلَّا قُرْبُكَ
waghammī lā yuzīluhu illā qur-buk
And my sorrow cannot be removed except by Your nearness
17
وَجُرْحِيْ لَا يُبْرِئُهُ إِلَّا صَفْحُكَ
wajur-ḥī lā yubri-uhu illā ṣafḥuk
And my wound cannot be cured except by Your forgiveness
18
وَرَيْنُ قَلْبِيْ لَا يَجْلُوهُ إِلَّا عَفْوُكَ
waraynu qalbī lā yajlūhu illā `afwuk
And the rust of my heart cannot be polished except by Your pardon
19
وَوَسْوَاسُ صَدْرِيْ لَا يُزِيحُهُ إِلَّا أَمْرُكَ
wawaswāsu ṣadrī lā yuzīḥuhu illā amruk
And the whispers of my chest cannot be dispelled except by Your command
20
فَيَا مُنْتَهَىٰ أَمَلِ الْآمِلِينَ
fayā muntahā amalil-āmilīn
O Ultimate Goal of those who hope
21
وَيَا غَايَةَ سُؤْلِ السَّائِلينَ
wayā ghāyata su-lis sā-ilin
O Highest Aim of those who ask
22
وَيَا أَقْصَىٰ طَلِبَةِ الطَّالِبِيْنَ
wayā aqṣā ṭalibatiṭ ṭālibīn
O Furthest Desire of those who seek
23
وَيَا أَعْلَى رَغْبَةِ الرَّاغِبِينَ
wayā a`lā raghbatir rāghibīn
O Greatest Wish of those who yearn
24
وَيَا وَلِيَّ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
wayā waliyyaṣ ṣāliḥīn
O Guardian of the righteous
25
وَيَا أَمَانَ الْخَائِفِينَ
wayā amānal khā-ifīn
O Security of the fearful
26
وَيَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ
wayā mujība da`watil muḍṭarrīn
O Answerer of the prayers of the distressed
27
وَيَا ذُخْرَ الْمُعْدِمِيْنَ
wayā dhukhral mu`dimīn
O Treasure of the destitute
28
وَيَا كَنْزَ الْبَائِسِينَ
wayā kanzal bā-isīn
O Wealth of the wretched
29
وَيَا غِيَاثَ الْمُسْتَغِيثِينَ
wayā ghiyāthal mustaghīthīn
O Helper of those who seek help
30
وَيَا قَاضِيَ حَوَائِجِ الْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ
wayā qāḍiya ḥawā-ijil fuqarā-i walmasākīn
O Fulfiller of the needs of the poor and needy
31
وَيَا أَكْرَمَ الْاَكْرَمِيْنَ
wayā akramal akramīn
O Most Generous of the generous
32
وَيَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
wayā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful
33
لَكَ تَخَضُّعِيْ وَسُؤَالِي
laka takhaḍḍu`ī wasu-ālī
To You is my humility and my request
34
وَإِلَيْكَ تَضَرُّعِيْ وَابْتِهَالِي
wa-ilayka taḍarru`ī wabtihālī
And to You is my pleading and my supplication
35
أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُنِيلَنِيْ مِنْ رَوْحِ رِضْوَانِكَ
as-aluka an tunīlanī min rawḥi riḍwānik
I ask You to grant me the comfort of Your pleasure
36
وَتُدِيمَ عَلَيَّ نِعَمَ امْتِنَانِكَ
watudīma `alayya ni`amamtinānik
And to make lasting upon me the blessings of Your favors
37
وَهَا أَنَا بِبَابِ كَرَمِكَ وَاقِفٌ
wahā ana bibābi karamika wāqif
Here I am standing at the door of Your generosity
38
وَلِنَفَحَاتِ بِرِّكَ مُتَعَرِّضٌ
walinafaḥāti birrika muta`arriḍ
Exposing myself to the breeze of Your benevolence
39
وَبِحَبْلِكَ الشَّدِيْدِ مُعْتَصِمٌ
wabiḥablikash shadīdi mu`taṣim
Holding fast to Your strong rope
40
وَبِعُرْوَتِكَ الْوُثْقَىٰ مُتَمَسِّكٌ
wabi`ur-watikal wuthqā mutamassik
And grasping Your firm handhold
41
إِلٰهِيْ اِرْحَمْ عَبْدَكَ الذَّلِيلَ
ilāhī ir-ḥam `abdakadh dhalīl
My God, have mercy on Your humble servant
42
ذَا اللِّسَانِ الْكَلِيلِ
dhal lisānil kalīl
With the weary tongue
43
وَالْعَمَلِ الْقَلِيلِ
wal`amalil qalīl
And the little deeds
44
وَامْنُنْ عَلَيْهِ بِطَوْلِكَ الْجَزِيلِ
wamnun `alayhi biṭawlikal jazīl
And bestow upon him Your abundant grace
45
وَاكْنُفْهُ تَحْتَ ظِلِّكَ الظَّلِيلِ
waknufhu taḥta ẓillikaẓ ẓalīl
And shelter him under Your shading protection
46
يَا كَرِيمُ يَا جَمِيلُ
yā karīmu yā jamīl
O Generous One, O Beautiful One
47
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful
