بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
سُبْحَانَكَ
subḥānak
Glory be to You
2
مَا أَضْيَقَ الطُّرُقَ عَلَى مَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ دَلِيلَهُ
mā aḍyaqaṭ ṭuruqa `alā man lam takun dalīlah
How narrow are the paths for one whom You are not his guide
3
وَمَا أَوْضَحَ الْحَقَّ عِنْدَ مَنْ هَدَيْتَهُ سَبِيلَهُ
wamā awḍaḥal ḥaqqa `inda man hadaytahu sabīlah
And how clear is the truth for one whom You have guided to Your way
4
إِلٰهِيْ فَاسْلُكْ بِنَا سُبُلَ الْوُصُولِ إِلَيْكَ
ilāhī fasluk binā subulal wuṣūli ilayk
My God, lead us on the paths that reach You
5
وَسَيِّرْنَا فِيْ أَقْرَبِ الطُّرُقِ لِلْوُفُودِ عَلَيْكَ
wasayyir-nā fī aqrabiṭ ṭuruqi lilwufūdi `alayk
And direct us on the nearest roads to come to You
6
قَرِّبْ عَلَيْنَا الْبَعِيدَ
qarrib `alaynal ba`īd
Make near for us that which is far
7
وَسَهِّلْ عَلَيْنَا الْعَسِيرَ الشَّدِيدَ
wasahhil `alaynal `asīrash shadīd
And make easy for us that which is difficult and hard
8
وَأَلْحِقْنَا بِعِبَادِكَ الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ بِالْبِدَارِ إِلَيْكَ يُسَارِعُونَ
wa-alḥiqnā bi`ibādikal ladhīna hum bil bidāri ilayka yusāri`ūn
Join us with Your servants who hasten towards You swiftly
9
وَبَابَكَ عَلَى الدَّوَامِ يَطْرُقُونَ
wabābaka `alad dawāmi yaṭruqūn
And who continuously knock at Your door
10
وَإِيَّاكَ فِيْ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ يَعبُدُونَ
wa-iyyāka fil layli wan nahāri ya`budūn
And who worship You day and night
11
وَهُمْ مِنْ هَيْبَتِكَ مُشْفِقُونَ
wahum min haybatika mushfiqūn
And who are fearful of Your awe
12
اَلَّذِيْنَ صَفَّيْتَ لَهُمُ الْمَشَارِبَ
al ladhīna ṣaffayta lahumul mashārib
Those for whom You have purified their drinking places
13
وَبَلَّغْتَهُمُ الرَّغَائِبَ
waballaghtahumur raghā-ib
And fulfilled their wishes
14
وَأَنْجَحْتَ لَهُمُ الْمَطَالِبَ
wa-anjaḥta lahumul maṭālib
And granted their requests
15
وَقَضَيْتَ لَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْمَأٰرِبَ
waqaḍayta lahum min faḍlikal ma-ārib
And satisfied their needs through Your grace
16
وَمَلَأْتَ لَهُمْ ضَمَائِرَهُمْ مِنْ حُبِّكَ
wamala-ta lahum ḍamā-irahum min ḥubbik
And filled their hearts with Your love
17
وَرَوَّيْتَهُمْ مِنْ صَاْفِيْ شِرْبِكَ
warawwaytahum min ṣafī shir-bik
And quenched their thirst with Your pure drink
18
فَبِكَ إِلَى لَذِيذِ مُنَاجَاتِكَ وَصَلُوْا
fabika ilā ladhīdhi munājātika waṣalū
Through You they have reached the delight of Your communion
19
وَمِنْكَ أَقْصَىٰ مَقَاصِدِهِمْ حَصَّلُوْا
waminka aqṣā maqāṣidihim ḥaṣṣalū
And from You they have attained the ultimate of their aims
20
فَيَا مَنْ هُوَ عَلَى الْمُقْبِلِينَ عَلَيْهِ مُقْبِلٌ
fayā man huwa `alal muqbilīna `alayhi muqbil
O One who turns toward those who turn to Him
21
وَبِالْعَطْفِ عَلَيْهِمْ عَائِدٌ مُفْضِلٌ
wabil `aṭfi `alayhim `ā-idun mufḍil
And bestows His favor and kindness upon them
22
وَبِالْغَافِلِينَ عَنْ ذِكْرِهِ رَحِيمٌ رَءُوفٌ
wabil ghāfilīna `an dhikrihi raḥīmun ra-ūf
And is Merciful and Kind to those who neglect His remembrance
23
وَبِجَذْبِهِمْ إِلَى بَابِهِ وَدُودٌ عَطُوفٌ
wabijadhbihim ilā bābihi wadūdun `aṭūf
And draws them to His door with love and affection
24
أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِيْ مِنْ أَوْفَرِهِمْ مِنْكَ حَظًّا
as-aluka an taj`alanī min awfarihim minka ḥaẓẓā
I ask You to make me among those who have the greatest share from You
25
وَأَعْلاَهُمْ عِنْدَكَ مَنْزِلًا
wa-a`lāhum `indaka manzilā
And the highest status with You
26
وَأَجْزَلِهِمْ مِنْ وُدِّكَ قِسْمًا
wa-ajzalihim min wuddika qismā
And the most abundant portion of Your love
27
وَأَفْضَلِهِمْ فِيْ مَعْرِفَتِكَ نَصِيْبًا
wa-afḍalihim fī ma`rifatika naṣībā
And the best share in Your knowledge
28
فَقَدِ انْقَطَعَتْ إِلَيْكَ هِمَّتِي
faqadinqaṭa`at ilayka himmatī
For my determination is directed solely toward You
29
وَانْصَرَفَتْ نَحْوَكَ رَغْبَتِي
wanṣarafat naḥwaka raghbatī
And my desire is turned only to You
30
فَأَنْتَ لَا غَيْرُكَ مُرَادِي
fa-anta lā ghayruka murādī
You alone, not anyone else, are my desire
31
وَلَكَ لَا لِسِوَاكَ سَهَرِيْ وَسُهَادِي
walaka lā lisiwāka saharī wasuhādī
For You alone, not for anyone else, is my sleeplessness and wakefulness
32
وَلِقَاؤُكَ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي
waliqa-uka qurratu `aynī
Meeting You is the delight of my eye
33
وَوَصْلُكَ مُنَىٰ نَفْسِي
wawaṣluka munā nafsī
Connection with You is the wish of my soul
34
وَإِلَيْكَ شَوْقِي
wa-ilayka shawqī
For You is my longing
35
وَفِيْ مَحَبَّتِكَ وَلَهِي
wafī maḥabbatika walahī
In Your love is my passion
36
وَإِلَى هَوَاكَ صَبَابَتِي
wa-ilā hawāka ṣabābatī
To Your affection is my ardent love
37
وَرِضَاكَ بُغْيَتِي
wariḍāka bughyatī
Your pleasure is my goal
38
وَرُؤْيَتُكَ حَاجَتِي
waru-yatuka ḥājatī
Seeing You is my need
39
وَجِوَارُكَ طَلِبَتِي
wajiwāruka ṭalibatī
Your nearness is my request
40
وَقُرْبُكَ غَايَةُ سُؤْلِي
waqur-buka ghāyatu su-lī
Your closeness is the utmost of my asking
41
وَفِيْ مُنَاجَاتِكَ رَوْحِيْ وَرَاحَتِي
wafī munājātika rawḥī warāḥatī
In Your communion is my repose and my comfort
42
وَعِنْدَكَ دَوَاءُ عِلَّتِي
wa`indaka dawā-u `illatī
With You is the remedy of my illness
43
وَشِفَاءُ غُلَّتِي
washifā-u ghullatī
The cure of my burning thirst
44
وَبَرْدُ لَوْعَتِي
wabar-du law`atī
The coolness for my burning grief
45
وَكَشْفُ كُرْبَتِي
wakashfu kur-batī
And the removal of my distress
46
فَكُنْ أَنِيسِيْ فِيْ وَحْشَتِي
fakun anīsī fī waḥshatī
So be my companion in my loneliness
47
وَمُقِيلَ عَثْرَتِي
wamuqīla `athratī
The forgiver of my lapses
48
وَغَافِرَ زَلَّتِي
waghāfira zallatī
The pardoner of my slips
49
وَقَابِلَ تَوْبَتِي
waqābila tawbatī
The acceptor of my repentance
50
وَمُجِيبَ دَعْوَتِي
wamujība da`watī
The answerer of my prayer
51
وَوَلِيَّ عِصْمَتِي
wawaliyya `iṣmatī
The guardian of my protection
52
وَمُغْنِيَ فَاقَتِي
wamughniya fāqatī
The enricher of my poverty
53
وَلَا تَقْطَعْنِيْ عَنْكَ
walā taqṭa`nī `ank
Do not cut me off from You
54
وَلَا تُبْعِدْنِيْ مِنْكَ
walā tub`idnī mink
And do not distance me from You
55
يَا نَعِيمِيْ وَجَنَّتِي
yā na`īmī wajannatī
O my bliss and my paradise
56
وَيَا دُنْيَايَ وَ آخِرَتِي
wayā dunyāya wa ākhiratī
O my world and my hereafter
57
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O Most Merciful of the merciful
