بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ أَلْهِمْنَا طَاعَتَكَ
allāhumma alhimnā ṭā`atak
O Allah, inspire us to obey You
2
وَجَنِّبْنَا مَعْصِيَتَكَ
wajannibnā ma`ṣiyatak
And keep us away from disobeying You
3
وَيَسِّرْ لَنَا بُلُوغَ مَا نَتَمَنَّىٰ
wayassir lanā bulūgha mā natamannā
And make it easy for us to attain what we wish for
4
مِنِ ابْتِغَاءِ رِضْوَانِكَ
minibtighā-i riḍwānik
In seeking Your pleasure
5
وَأَحْلِلْنَا بُحْبُوحَةَ جِنَانِكَ
wa-aḥlilnā buḥbūḥata jinānik
And settle us in the middle of Your gardens
6
وَاقْشَعْ عَنْ بَصَائِرِنَا سَحَابَ الْإِرْتِيَابِ
waqsha` `an baṣā-irinā saḥābal ir-tiyāb
And remove from our insight the clouds of doubt
7
وَاكْشِفْ عَنْ قُلُوبِنَا أَغْشِيَةَ الْمِرْيَةِ وَالْحِجَابِ
wakshif `an qulūbinā aghshiyatal mir-yati walḥijāb
And uncover from our hearts the veils of suspicion and barriers
8
وَأَزْهِقِ الْبَاطِلَ عَنْ ضَمَائِرِنَا
wa-azhiqil bāṭila `an ḍamā-irinā
And eliminate falsehood from our consciences
9
وَأَثْبِتِ الْحَقَّ فِيْ سَرَائِرِنَا
wa-athbitil ḥaqqa fī sarā-irinā
And establish truth in our innermost thoughts
10
فَإِنَّ الشُّكُوكَ وَالظُّنُونَ لَوَاقِحُ الْفِتَنِ
fa-innash shukūka waẓ ẓunūna lawāqiḥul fitan
For doubts and suspicions are seeds of tribulation
11
وَمُكَدِّرَةٌ لِصَفْوِ الْمَنَائِحِ وَالْمِنَنِ
wamukaddiratun liṣafwil manā-iḥi walminan
And they cloud the purity of gifts and blessings
12
اَللَّهُمَّ احْمِلْنَا فِيْ سُفُنِ نَجَاتِكَ
allāhummaḥmilnā fī sufuni najātik
O Allah, carry us in the ships of Your salvation
13
وَمَتِّعْنَا بِلَذِيذِ مُنَاجَاتِكَ
wamatti`nā biladhīdhi munājātik
And let us enjoy the sweetness of Your intimate discourse
14
وَأَوْرِدْنَا حِيَاضَ حُبِّكَ
wa-awridnā ḥiyāḍa ḥubbik
And lead us to the fountains of Your love
15
وَأَذِقْنَا حَلاَوَةَ وُدِّكَ وَقُرْبِكَ
wa-adhiqnā ḥalāwata wuddika waqur-bik
And let us taste the sweetness of Your affection and closeness
16
وَاجْعَلْ جِهَادَنَا فِيكَ
waj`al jihādanā fīk
And make our struggle be for You
17
وَهَمَّنَا فِيْ طَاعَتِكَ
wahammanā fī ṭā`atik
And our concern be in Your obedience
18
وَأَخْلِصْ نِيَّاتِنَا فِيْ مُعَامَلَتِكَ
wa-akhliṣ niyyātinā fī mu`āmalatik
And purify our intentions in our dealings with You
19
فَإِنَّا بِكَ وَلَكَ
fa-innā bika walak
For we are through You and for You
20
وَلَا وَسِيْلَةَ لَنَا إِلَيْكَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
walā wasīlata lanā ilayka illā ant
And we have no means to reach You except through You
21
إِلٰهِيْ اِجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ الْاَخْيَارِ
ilāhī ij`alnī minal muṣṭafaynal akhyār
My God, make me among the chosen righteous ones
22
وَأَلْحِقْنِيْ بِالصَّالِحِيْنَ الْاَبْرَارِ
wa-alḥiqnī biṣṣāliḥīnal abrār
And join me with the pious and virtuous
23
اَلسَّابِقِينَ إِلَى الْمَكْرُمَاتِ
as sābiqīna ilal makrumāt
Those who hasten toward noble deeds
24
اَلْمُسَارِعِينَ إِلَى الْخَيْرَاتِ
al musāri`īna ilal khayrāt
Those who rush toward good actions
25
اَلْعَامِلِينَ لِلْبَاقِيَاتِ الصَّالِحَاتِ
al `āmilīna lilbāqiyātiṣ ṣāliḥāt
Those who work for everlasting righteous deeds
26
اَلسَّاعِينَ إِلٰى رَفِيعِ الدَّرَجَاتِ
as sā`īna ilā rafī`id darajāt
Those who strive for the highest ranks
27
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
innaka `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
Indeed, You have power over all things
28
وَبِالْاِجَابَةِ جَدِيرٌ
wabil ijābati jadīr
And You are worthy of answering prayers
29
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
biraḥmatika yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful
