بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْإِلٰهُ الْقَدِيمُ
allāhumma antal ilāhul qadīm
O Allah, You are the Eternal God
2
وَهٰذِهِ سَنَةٌ جَدِيدَةٌ
wahādhihi sanatun jadīdah
And this is a new year
3
فَأَسْأَلُكَ فِيهَا الْعِصْمَةَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ
fa-as-aluka fīhal `iṣmata minash shayṭān
So I ask You in it for protection from Satan
4
وَالْقُوَّةَ عَلٰى هٰذِهِ النَّفْسِ الْأَمَّارَةِ بِالسُّوءِ
walquwwata `alā hādhihin nafsil ammārati bissū
And strength against this soul that commands to evil
5
وَالْإِشْتِغَالَ بِمَا يُقَرِّبُنِيْ إِلَيْكَ يَا كَرِيمُ
wal-ishtighāla bimā yuqarribunī ilayka yā karīm
And to be occupied with what brings me closer to You, O Generous One
6
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
yā dhal jalāli wal-ikrām
O Lord of Majesty and Honor
7
يَا عِمَادَ مَنْ لَا عِمَادَ لَهُ
yā `imāda man lā `imāda lah
O Support of the one who has no support
8
يَا ذَخِيرَةَ مَنْ لَا ذَخِيرَةَ لَهُ
yā dhakhīrata man lā dhakhīrata lah
O Treasure of the one who has no treasure
9
يَا حِرْزَ مَنْ لَاحِرْزَ لَهُ
yā ḥir-za man lāḥir-za lah
O Sanctuary of the one who has no sanctuary
10
يَا غِيَاثَ مَنْ لَاغِيَاثَ لَهُ
yā ghiyātha man lāghiyātha lah
O Helper of the one who has no helper
11
يَا سَنَدَ مَنْ لَاسَنَدَ لَهُ
yā sanada man lāsanada lah
O Strength of the one who has no strength
12
يَا كَنْزَ مَنْ لَاكَنْزَ لَهُ
yā kanza man lākanza lah
O Wealth of the one who has no wealth
13
يَا حَسَنَ الْبَلَاءِ
yā ḥasanal balā
O One of beautiful trials
14
يَا عَظِيمَ الرَّجَاءِ
yā `aẓīmar rajā
O One of great hope
15
يَا عِزَّ الضُّعَفَاءِ
yā `izzaḍ ḍu`afā
O Honor of the weak
16
يَا مُنْقِذَ الْغَرْقَى
yā munqidhal ghar-qā
O Rescuer of the drowning
17
يَا مُنْجِيَ الْهَلْكَى
yā munjiyal halkā
O Savior of the perishing
18
يَا مُنْعِمُ يَا مُجْمِلُ
yā mun`imu yā mujmil
O Bestower of blessings, O Beautifier
19
يَا مُفْضِلُ يَا مُحْسِنُ
yā mufḍilu yā muḥsin
O Granter of bounties, O Benefactor
20
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ سَجَدَ لَكَ سَوَادُ اللَّيْلِ وَنُوْرُ النَّهَارِ
antal ladhī sajada laka sawādul layli wanūrun nahār
You are the One to Whom the darkness of night prostrates, and the light of day
21
وَضَوْءُ الْقَمَرِ وَشُعَاعُ الشَّمْسِ
waḍaw-ul qamari washu`ā`ush shams
And the glow of the moon and the rays of the sun
22
وَدَوِيُّ الْمَاءِ وَحَفِيفُ الشَّجَرِ
wadawiyyul mā-i waḥafīfush shajar
And the sound of water and the rustling of trees
23
يَا اَللّٰهُ لَاشَرِيكَ لَكَ
yā allāhu lāsharīka lak
O Allah, You have no partner
24
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا خَيْرًا مِمَّا يَظُنُّونَ
allāhummaj`alnā khayran mimmā yaẓunnūn
O Allah, make us better than what they think
25
وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا مَا لَايَعْلَمُوْنَ
waghfir lanā mā lāya`lamūn
And forgive us what they do not know
26
وَلَا تُؤاخِذْنَا بِمَا يَقُولُونَ
walā tu-khidhnā bimā yaqūlūn
And do not hold us accountable for what they say
27
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَاإِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ
ḥasbiyallāhu la-ilāha illā huw
Allah is sufficient for me, there is no god but Him
28
عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
`alayhi tawakkaltu wahuwa rabbul `ar-shil `aẓīm
Upon Him I rely and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne
29
آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا
āmannā bihi kullun min `indi rabbinā
We believe in it, all is from our Lord
30
وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُوْ الْأَلْبَابِ
wamā yadhhakkaru illā ūlul albāb
And none will remember except those of understanding
31
رَبَّنَا لاَتُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا
rabbanā lātuzigh qulūbanā ba`da idh hadaytanā
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us
32
وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
wahab lanā min ladunka raḥmatan innaka antal wahhāb
And grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower
