بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ
al ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī
All praise be to Allah who
2
تَجَلّٰى لِلْقُلُوْبِ بِالْعَظَمَةِ
tajallā lilqulūbi bil `aẓamah
Manifests Himself to the hearts with His Greatness
3
وَ احْتَجَبَ عَنِ الْاَبْصَارِ بِالْعِزَّةِ
waḥtajaba `anil abṣāri bil `izzah
And veils Himself from the eyes with His Might
4
وَاقْتَدَرَ عَلَى الْاَشْيَاءِ بِالْقُدْرَةِ
waqtadara `alal ashyā-i bil qudrah
And has power over all things through His Omnipotence
5
فَلَا الْاَبْصَارُ تَثْبُتُ لِرُؤْيَتِه
falal abṣāru tathbutu liru-yatih
So eyes cannot withstand seeing Him
6
وَ لَا الْاَوْهَامُ تَبْلُغُ كُنْهَ عَظَمَتِه
wa lal awhāmu tablughu kunha `aẓamatih
And imaginations cannot comprehend the essence of His Greatness
7
تَجَبَّرَ بِالْعَظَمَةِ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ
tajabbara bil `aẓamati wal kibriyā
He is Mighty in Greatness and Grandeur
8
وَ تَعَطَّفَ بِالْعِزِّ وَ الْبِرِّ وَ الْجَلَالِ
wa ta`aṭṭafa bil `izzi wal birri wal jalāl
And is gracious with Honor, Goodness, and Majesty
9
وَ تَقَدَّسَ بِالْحُسْنِ وَ الْجَمَالِ
wa taqaddasa bil ḥusni wal jamāl
And is sanctified with Beauty and Elegance
10
وَ تَمَجَّدَ بِالْفَخْرِ وَ الْبَهَاءِ
wa tamajjada bil fakhri wal bahā
And is glorified with Pride and Splendor
11
وَ تَجَلَّلَ بِالْمَجْدِ وَ الْآلَاءِ
wa tajallala bil majdi wal-ālā
And is clothed in Glory and Blessings
12
وَ اسْتَخْلَصَ بِالنُّوْرِ وَ الضِّيَاءِ
wastakhlaṣa binnūri waḍ ḍiyā
And is distinguished with Light and Radiance
13
خَالِقٌ لَا نَظِيْرَ لَهُ
khāliqun lā naẓīra lah
A Creator without any equal
14
وَ اَحَدٌ لَا نِدَّ لَهُ
wa aḥadun lā nidda lah
The One without any rival
15
وَ وَاحِدٌ لَا ضِدَّ لَهُ
wa wāḥidun lā ḍidda lah
The Unique without any opposite
16
وَ صَمَدٌ لَا كُفْوَ لَهُ
wa ṣamadun lā kufwa lah
The Eternal without any match
17
وَ اِلٰهٌ لَا ثَانِيَ مَعَهُ
wa ilāhun lā thāniya ma`ah
A God with no second beside Him
18
وَ فَاطِرٌ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ
wa fāṭirun lā sharīka lah
An Originator with no partner
19
وَ رَازِقٌ لَا مُعِيْنَ لَهُ
wa rāziqun lā mu`īna lah
A Provider with no helper
20
وَ الْاَوَّلُ بِلَا زَوَالٍ
wal awwalu bilā zawāl
The First without decline
21
وَ الدَّآئِمُ بِلَا فَنَاءٍ
wad dā-imu bilā fana
The Everlasting without end
22
وَ الْقَائِمُ بِلَا عَنَآءٍ
wal qā-imu bilā `ana-a
The Sustainer without fatigue
23
وَ الْمُؤْمِنُ بِلَا نِهَايَةٍ
wal mu-minu bilā nihāyah
The Granter of security without limit
24
وَ الْمُبْدِئُ بِلَا اَمَدٍ
wal mubdi-u bilā amad
The Originator without term
25
وَ الصَّانِعُ بِلَا اَحَدٍ
waṣ ṣāni`u bilā aḥad
The Maker without anyone's help
26
وَ الرَّبُّ بِلَا شَرِيْكٍ
war rabbu bilā sharīk
The Lord without any partner
27
وَ الْفَاطِرُ بِلَا كُلْفَةٍ
wal fāṭiru bilā kulfah
The Creator without effort
28
وَ الْفَعَّالُ بِلَا عَجْزٍ
wal fa``ālu bilā `ajz
The Doer without weakness
29
لَيْسَ لَهُ حَدٌّ فِيْ مَكَانٍ
laysa lahu ḥaddun fī makān
He has no limit in space
30
وَ لَا غَايَةٌ فِيْ زَمَانٍ
wa lā ghāyatun fī zamān
And no end in time
31
لَمْ يَزَلْ وَ لَا يَزُوْلُ وَ لَنْ يَزَالَ كَذٰلِكَ اَبَدًا
lam yazal wa lā yazūlu wa lan yazāla kadhālika abadā
He always was, is not transient, and will always remain thus forever
32
هُوَ الْاِلٰهُ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ
huwal ilāhul ḥayyul qayyūm
He is the God, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting
33
اَلدَّآئِمُ الْقَدِيْمُ
ad dā-imul qadīm
The Everlasting, the Eternal
34
اَلْقَادِرُ الْحَكِيْمُ
al qādirul ḥakīm
The All-Powerful, the All-Wise
36
عُبَيْدُكَ بِفِنَآئِكَ
`ubayduka bifinā-ik
Your humble servant is at Your threshold
37
سَائِلُكَ بِفِنَآئِكَ
sā-iluka bifinā-ik
Your petitioner is at Your threshold
38
فَقِيْرُكَ بِفِنَآئِكَ
faqīruka bifinā-ika
Your needy one is at Your threshold
40
عُبَيْدُكَ بِفِنَآئِكَ
`ubayduka bifinā-ik
Your humble servant is at Your threshold
41
سَائِلُكَ بِفِنَآئِكَ
sā-iluka bifinā-ik
Your petitioner is at Your threshold
42
فَقِيْرُكَ بِفِنَآئِكَ
faqīruka bifinā-ika
Your needy one is at Your threshold
44
عُبَيْدُكَ بِفِنَآئِكَ
`ubayduka bifinā-ik
Your humble servant is at Your threshold
45
سَائِلُكَ بِفِنَآئِكَ
sā-iluka bifinā-ik
Your petitioner is at Your threshold
46
فَقِيْرُكَ بِفِنَآئِكَ
faqīruka bifinā-ika
Your needy one is at Your threshold
48
لَكَ يَرْهَبُ الْمُتَرَهِّبُوْنَ
laka yar-habul mutarahhibūn
The fearful fear You
49
وَ اِلَيْكَ اَخْلَصَ الْمُسْتَهِلُّوْنَ
wa ilayka akhlaṣal mustahillūn
And those who cry out have sincere devotion to You
50
رَهْبَةً لَكَ وَ رَجَآءً لِعَفْوِكَ
rahbatan laka wa rajā-an li`afwik
In awe of You and in hope of Your forgiveness
51
يَا اِلٰهَ الْحَقِّ
yā ilāhal ḥaqq
O God of Truth
52
اِرْحَمْ دُعَآءَ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِيْنَ
ir-ḥam du`ā-al mustaṣrikhīn
Have mercy on the prayers of those who cry for help
53
وَاعْفُ عَنْ جَرَائِمِ الْغَافِلِيْنَ
wa`fu `an jarā-imil ghāfilīn
And forgive the sins of the heedless
54
وَ زِدْ فِيْ اِحْسَانِ الْمُنِيْبِيْنَ يَوْمَ الْوُفُوْدِ عَلَيْكَ
wa zid fī iḥsānil munībīna yawmal wufūdi `alayk
And increase the goodness of those who turn to You on the Day they come before You
55
يَا كَرِيْمُ
yā karīm
O Most Generous One
