بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
يَا فَارِجَ الْهَمِّ وَكَاشِفَ الْغَمِّ
yā fārijal hammi wakāshifal ghamm
O Reliever of anxiety and Remover of sorrow
2
يَا رَحْمَانَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ رَحِيمَهُمَا
yā raḥmānad dunyā wal-ākhirati wa raḥīmahumā
O Most Compassionate in this world and the Hereafter, and Most Merciful in both
3
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
4
وَافْرُجْ هَمِّي، وَاكْشِفْ غَمِّي
wafruj hammī, wakshif ghammī
And relieve my anxiety, and remove my sorrow
5
يَا وَاحِدُ يَا أَحَدُ يَا صَمَدُ
yā wāḥidu yā aḥadu yā ṣamad
O the One, the Unique, the Eternal
6
يَا مَنْ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
yā man lam yalid walam yūlad
O the One who does not beget nor was begotten
7
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
walam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad
And there is none like unto Him
8
اِعْصِمْنِيْ وَطَهِّرْنِي، وَاذْهَبْ بِبَلِيَّتِي
i`ṣimnī waṭahhir-nī, wadh-hab bibaliyyatī
Protect me and purify me, and remove my affliction
9
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
10
اَللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ
allāhu lā ilāha illā huwal ḥayyul qayyūm
Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist;
11
لَا تَأْخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ
lā ta-khudhuhū sinatun walā nawm
slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep;
12
لَهُۥ مَا فِيْ السَّمَـٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِيْ الْأَرْضِ
lahu mā fis samāwāti wamā fil ar-ḍ
whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His;
13
مَن ذَا الَّذِيْ يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ
man dhal ladhī yashfa`u `indahū illā bi-idhnih
who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission?
14
يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ
ya`lamu mā bayna aydīhim wamā khalfahum
He knows what is before them and what is behind them,
15
وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ
walā yuḥīṭūna bishay-im min `ilmihī illā bimā shā-a
and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases,
16
وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَـٰوٰتِ وَالْأَرْضَ
wasi`a kur-siyyuhus samāwāti wal-ar-ḍ
His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth,
17
وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفْظُهُمَا
walā ya-ūduhu ḥifẓuhumā
and the preservation of them both tires Him not,
18
وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
wahuwal `aliyyul `aẓīm
and He is the Most High, the Great.
19
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
20
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
qul a`ūdhu birabbin nās
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,
21
مَلِكِ النَّاسِ
malikin nās
The King of men,
22
إِلَـٰهِ النَّاسِ
ilāhin nās
The god of men,
23
مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ
min sharril waswāsil khannās
From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking [Shaitan],
24
اَلَّذِيْ يُوَسْوِسُ فِيْ صُدُورِ النَّاسِ
al ladhī yuwaswisu fī ṣudūrin nās
Who whispers into the hearts of men,
25
مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
minal jinnati wan nās
From among the jinn and the men.
Then recite Sura al-Falaq
26
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
27
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
qul a`ūdhu birabbil falaq
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn,
28
مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
min sharri mā khalaq
From the evil of what He has created,
29
وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
wamin sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab
And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes,
30
وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِيْ الْعُقَدِ
wamin sharrin naffāthāti fil `uqad
And from the evil of those who blow on knots,
31
وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
wamin sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad
And from the evil of the envious when he envies
Then recite Sura al-Ikhlas
32
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
33
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
qul huwallāhu aḥad
Say: He, Allah, is One.
34
اَللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ
allāhuṣ ṣamad
Allah is He on Whom all depend.
35
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
lam yalid walam yūlad
He begets not, nor is He begotten.
36
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
walam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad
And none is like Him.
37
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ سُؤَالَ مَنِ اشْتَدَّتْ فَاقَتُهُ
allāhumma innī as-aluka su-āla manishtaddat fāqatuh
O Allah, I ask You with the asking of one whose neediness has become severe
38
وَضَعُفَتْ قُوَّتُهُ، وَكَثُرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ
waḍa`ufat quwwatuh, wakathurat dhunūbuh
And whose strength has weakened, and whose sins have multiplied
39
سُؤَالَ مَنْ لَا يَجِدُ لِفَاقَتِهِ مُغِيثًا
su-āla man lā yajidu lifāqatihi mughīthā
The asking of one who finds no helper for his neediness
40
وَلَا لِضَعْفِهِ مُقَوِّيًا
walā liḍa`fihi muqawwiyā
Nor any strengthener for his weakness
41
وَلَا لِذَنْبِهِ غَافِرًا غَيْرَكَ
walā lidhanbihi ghāfiran ghayrak
Nor any forgiver for his sin other than You
42
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
yā dhal jalāli wal-ikrām
O Possessor of Majesty and Honor
43
أَسْأَلُكَ عَمَلًا تُحِبُّ بِهِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهِ
as-aluka `amalan tuḥibbu bihi man `amila bih
I ask You for actions through which You love those who perform them
44
وَيَقِينًا تَنْفَعُ بِهِ مَنِ اسْتَيْقَنَ بِهِ
wayaqīnan tanfa`u bihi manistayqana bih
And for certainty which benefits those who are certain of it
45
حَقَّ الْيَقِينِ فِيْ نَفَاذِ أَمْرِكَ
ḥaqqal yaqīni fī nafādhi amrik
The true certainty in the fulfillment of Your command
46
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
47
وَاقْبِضْ عَلَى الصِّدْقِ نَفْسِي
waqbiḍ `alaṣ ṣidqi nafsī
And take my soul in a state of truthfulness
48
وَاقْطَعْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا حَاجَتِي
waqṭa` minad dunyā ḥājatī
And sever my need for this world
49
وَاجْعَلْ فِيمَا عِنْدَكَ رَغْبَتِي
waj`al fīmā `indaka raghbatī
And make my desire for what is with You
50
شَوْقًا إِلَى لِقَائِكَ
shawqan ilā liqā-ik
In longing for meeting You
51
وَهَبْ لِيْ صِدْقَ التَّوَكُّلِ عَلَيْكَ
wahab lī ṣidqat tawakkuli `alayk
And grant me true reliance upon You
52
أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ كِتَابٍ قَدْ خَلَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ
as-aluka min khayri kitābin qad khalā wa-a`ūdhu bik
I ask You for the good of what has been written, and I seek refuge in You
53
مِنْ شَرِّ كِتَابٍ قَدْ خَلَا
min sharri kitābin qad khalā
From the evil of what has been written
54
أَسْأَلُكَ خَوْفَ الْعَابِدِيْنَ لَكَ
as-aluka khawfal `ābidīna lak
I ask You for the fear of those who worship You
55
وَعِبَادَةَ الْخَاشِعِينَ لَكَ
wa`ibādatal khāshi`īna lak
And the worship of those who are humble before You
56
وَيَقِينَ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ عَلَيْكَ
wayaqīnal mutawakkilīna `alayk
And the certainty of those who rely upon You
57
وَتَوَكُّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ عَلَيْكَ
watawakkulal mu-minīna `alayk
And the reliance of the believers upon You
58
اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ رَغْبَتِيْ فِيْ مَسْأَلَتِي
allāhummaj`al raghbatī fī mas-alatī
O Allah, make my desire in my requests
59
مِثْلَ رَغْبَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ فِيْ مَسَائِلِهِمْ
mithla raghbati awliyā-ika fī masā-ilihim
Like the desire of Your friends in their requests
60
وَرَهْبَتِيْ مِثْلَ رَهْبَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكَ
warahbatī mithla rahbati awliyā-ik
And my fear like the fear of Your friends
61
وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِيْ فِيْ مَرْضَاتِكَ
wasta`milnī fī mar-ḍātik
And employ me in Your pleasure
62
عَمَلًا لَا أَتْرُكُ مَعَهُ شَيْئًا مِنْ دِينِكَ
`amalan lā atruku ma`ahu shay-an min dīnik
With deeds that do not make me abandon anything from Your religion
63
مَخَافَةَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
makhāfata aḥadin min khalqik
Out of fear of anyone from Your creation
64
اَللَّهُمَّ هَذِهِ حَاجَتِيْ فَأَعْظِمْ فِيهَا رَغْبَتِي
allāhumma hadhihi ḥājatī fa-a`ẓim fīhā raghbatī
O Allah, this is my need, so magnify my desire for it
65
وَأَظْهِرْ فِيهَا عُذْرِي، وَلَقِّنِّيْ فِيهَا حُجَّتِي، وَعَافِ فِيهَا جَسَدِي
wa-aẓhir fīhā `udhrī, walaqqinnī fīhā ḥujjatī, wa`āfi fīhā jasadī
And make clear my excuse in it, and inspire me with my plea, and heal my body in it
66
اَللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ لَهُ ثِقَةٌ أَوْ رَجَاءٌ غَيْرُكَ
allāhumma man aṣbaḥa lahu thiqatun aw rajā-un ghayruk
O Allah, whoever has awakened with confidence or hope in other than You
67
فَقَدْ أَصْبَحْتُ وَأَنْتَ ثِقَتِي
faqad aṣbaḥtu wa-anta thiqatī
I have awakened and You are my confidence
68
وَرَجَائِيْ فِيْ الْأُمُورِ كُلِّهَا
warajā-ī fil umūri kullihā
And my hope in all matters
69
فَاقْضِ لِيْ بِخَيْرِهَا عَاقِبَةً
faqḍi lī bikhayrihā `āqibah
So decree for me the best outcome
70
وَنَجِّنِيْ مِنْ مُضِلَّاتِ الْفِتَنِ
wanajjinī min muḍillātil fitan
And save me from the misleading trials
71
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
biraḥmatika yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful
72
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ الْمُصْطَفَى
waṣallallāhu `alā sayyidinā muḥammadin rasūlillāhil muṣṭafā
And may Allah bless our master Muhammad, the chosen Messenger of Allah
73
وَعَلَى آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ
wa`alā-ālihiṭ ṭāhirīn
And upon his pure family
