بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَعَنْتَنِيْ عَلَى خَتْمِ كِتَابِكَ
allāhumma innaka a`antanī `alā khatmi kitābik
O Allah, You have helped me complete Your Book
2
اَلَّذِيْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ نُورًا وَجَعَلْتَهُ مُهَيْمِنًا
al ladhī anzaltahu nūran waja`altahu muhayminā
Which You have sent down as a light and made it a guardian
3
عَلَى كُلِّ كِتَابٍ أَنْزَلْتَهُ
`alā kulli kitābin anzaltah
Over every book You have revealed
4
وَفَضَّلْتَهُ عَلَى كُلِّ حَدِيثٍ قَصَصْتَهُ
wafaḍḍaltahu `alā kulli ḥadīthin qaṣaṣtah
And You have preferred it over every narrative You have related
5
وَفُرْقَانًا فَرَقْتَ بِهِ بَيْنَ حَلَالِكَ وَحَرَامِكَ
wafur-qānan faraqta bihi bayna ḥalālika waḥarāmik
And a criterion by which You distinguished between what is lawful and what is forbidden
6
وَقُرْآنًا أَعْرَبْتَ بِهِ عَنْ شَرَائِعِ أَحْكَامِكَ
waqur-ānan a`rabta bihi `an sharā-i`i aḥkāmik
And a Quran through which You explained the laws of Your commandments
7
وَكِتَابًا فَصَّلْتَهُ لِعِبَادِكَ تَفْصِيلًا
wakitāban faṣṣaltahu li`ibādika tafṣīlā
And a book which You have detailed for Your servants in detail
8
وَوَحْيًا أَنْزَلْتَهُ عَلَى نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ تَنْزِيلًا
wawaḥyan anzaltahu `alā nabiyyika muḥammadin ṣalawātuka `alayhi wa ālihi tanzīlā
And a revelation which You sent down to Your Prophet Muhammad, may Your blessings be upon him and his family
9
وَجَعَلْتَهُ نُورًا نَهْتَدِيْ مِنْ ظُلَمِ الضَّلَالَةِ وَالْجَهَالَةِ بِاتِّبَاعِهِ
waja`altahu nūran nahtadī min ẓulamiḍ ḍalālati waljahālati bittibā`ih
And You made it a light by which we can be guided from the darkness of misguidance and ignorance by following it
10
وَشِفَاءً لِمَنْ أَنْصَتَ بِفَهْمِ التَّصْدِيقِ إِلَى اسْتِمَاعِهِ
washifā-an liman anṣata bifahmit taṣdīqi ilastimā`ih
And a healing for those who listen with understanding and belief to its recitation
11
وَمِيزَانَ قِسْطٍ لَا يَحِيفُ عَنِ الْحَقِّ لِسَانُهُ
wamīzāna qisṭin lā yaḥīfu `anil ḥaqqi lisānuh
And a scale of justice whose tongue does not deviate from the truth
12
وَنُورَ هُدًى لَا يَطْفَأُ عَنِ الشَّاهِدِيْنَ بُرْهَانُهُ
wanūra hudan lā yaṭfa-u `anish shāhidīna bur-hānuh
And a light of guidance whose proof is not extinguished for those who witness it
13
وَعَلَمَ نَجَاةٍ لَا يَضِلُّ مَنْ أَمَّ قَصْدَ سُنَّتِهِ
wa`alama najātin lā yaḍillu man amma qaṣda sunnatih
And a flag of salvation, whoever follows the path of its tradition will not go astray
14
وَلَا تَنَالُ أَيْدِيْ الْهَلَكَاتِ مَنْ تَعَلَّقَ بِعُرْوَةِ عِصْمَتِهِ
walā tanālu aydil halakāti man ta`allaqa bi`ur-wati `iṣmatih
And the hands of destruction cannot reach whoever clings to the handle of its protection
15
اَللَّهُمَّ فَإِذْ أَفَدْتَنَا الْمَعُونَةَ عَلَى تِلَاوَتِهِ
allāhumma fa-idh afadtanal ma`ūnata `alā tilāwatih
O Allah, as You have granted us help in its recitation
16
وَسَهَّلْتَ جَوَاسِيَ أَلْسِنَتِنَا بِحُسْنِ عِبَارَتِهِ
wasahhalta jawāsiya alsinatinā biḥusni `ibāratih
And made our tongues eloquent with its beautiful expressions
17
فَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ يَرْعَاهُ حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهِ
faj`alnā mimman yar-`āhu ḥaqqa ri`āyatih
So make us among those who observe it with due observance
18
وَيَدِينُ لَكَ بِاعْتِقَادِ التَّسْلِيمِ لِمُحْكَمِ آيَاتِهِ
wayadīnu laka bi`tiqādit taslīmi limuḥkami-āyātih
And who believe in submitting to its definitive verses
19
وَيَفْزَعُ إِلَى الْإِقْرَارِ بِمُتَشَابِهِهِ وَمُوضَحَاتِ بَيِّنَاتِهِ
wayafza`u ilal iqrāri bimutashābihihi wamūḍaḥāti bayyinātih
And who seek refuge in acknowledging its ambiguous verses and clear evidences
20
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْزَلْتَهُ عَلَى نَبِيِّكَ
allāhumma innaka anzaltahu `alā nabiyyik
O Allah, You revealed it to Your Prophet
21
مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ مُجْمَلًا
muḥammadin ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālihi mujmalā
Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, in summary
22
وَأَلْهَمْتَهُ عِلْمَ عَجَائِبِهِ مُكَمَّلًا
wa-alhamtahu `ilma `ajā-ibihi mukammalā
And inspired him with the knowledge of its wonders completely
23
وَوَرَّثْتَنَا عِلْمَهُ مُفَسَّرًا
wawarrathtanā `ilmahu mufassarā
And You made us inherit its knowledge in explanation
24
وَفَضَّلْتَنَا عَلَى مَنْ جَهِلَ عِلْمَهُ
wafaḍḍaltanā `alā man jahila `ilmah
And You favored us over those who are ignorant of its knowledge
25
وَقَوَّيْتَنَا عَلَيْهِ لِتَرْفَعَنَا فَوْقَ مَنْ لَمْ يُطِقْ حَمْلَهُ
waqawwaytanā `alayhi litar-fa`anā fawqa man lam yuṭiq ḥamlah
And You strengthened us with it to raise us above those who cannot bear its weight
26
اَللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا جَعَلْتَ قُلُوبَنَا لَهُ حَمَلَةً
allāhumma fakamā ja`alta qulūbanā lahu ḥamalah
O Allah, as You have made our hearts carriers of it
27
وَعَرَّفْتَنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ شَرَفَهُ وَفَضْلَهُ
wa`arraftanā biraḥmatika sharafahu wafaḍlah
And by Your mercy made known to us its nobility and excellence
28
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ الْخَطِيبِ بِهِ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadinil khaṭībi bih
So send blessings upon Muhammad who delivered it
29
وَعَلَى آلِهِ الْخُزَّانِ لَهُ
wa`alā-ālihil khuzzāni lah
And upon his family who are its treasurers
30
وَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ يَعْتَرِفُ بِأَنَّهُ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ
waj`alnā mimman ya`tarifu bi-annahu min `indik
And make us among those who confess that it is from You
31
حَتَّى لَا يُعَارِضَنَا الشَّكُّ فِيْ تَصْدِيقِهِ
ḥattā lā yu`āriḍanash shakku fī taṣdīqih
So that no doubt confronts us in believing it
32
وَلَا يَخْتَلِجَنَا الزَّيْغُ عَنْ قَصْدِ طَرِيقِهِ
walā yakhtalijanaz zayghu `an qaṣdi ṭarīqih
And no deviation takes us away from its intended path
33
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
34
وَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ يَعْتَصِمُ بِحَبْلِهِ
waj`alnā mimman ya`taṣimu biḥablih
And make us among those who hold fast to its rope
35
وَيَأْوِيْ مِنَ الْمُتَشَابِهَاتِ إِلَى حِرْزِ مَعْقِلِهِ
waya-wī minal mutashābihāti ilā ḥir-zi ma`qilih
And who take refuge from uncertainties in the security of its stronghold
36
وَيَسْكُنُ فِيْ ظِلِّ جَنَاحِهِ
wayaskunu fī ẓilli janāḥih
And who dwell in the shade of its wing
37
وَيَهْتَدِيْ بِضَوْءِ صَبَاحِهِ
wayahtadī biḍaw-i ṣabāḥih
And who are guided by the light of its morning
38
وَيَقْتَدِيْ بِتَبَلُّجِ إِسْفَارِهِ
wayaqtadī bitaballuji isfārih
And who follow the brightness of its radiance
39
وَيَسْتَصْبِحُ بِمِصْبَاحِهِ
wayastaṣbiḥu bimiṣbāḥih
And who seek illumination from its lamp
40
وَلَا يَلْتَمِسُ الْهُدَى فِيْ غَيْرِهِ
walā yaltamisul hudā fī ghayrih
And who do not seek guidance from any other source
41
اَللَّهُمَّ وَكَمَا نَصَبْتَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدًا عَلَمًا لِلدَّلَالَةِ عَلَيْكَ
allāhumma wakamā naṣabta bihi muḥammadan `alaman liddalālati `alayk
O Allah, just as You appointed Muhammad as a flag to guide to You
42
وَأَنْهَجْتَ بِآلِهِ سُبُلَ الرِّضَا إِلَيْكَ
wa-anhajta bi-ālihi subular riḍā ilayk
And through his family You made clear the paths of Your pleasure
43
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
So send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
44
وَاجْعَلِ الْقُرْآنَ وَسِيْلَةً لَنَا إِلَى أَشْرَفِ مَنَازِلِ الْكَرَامَةِ
waj`alil qur-āna wasīlatan lanā ilā ashrafi manāzilil karāmah
And make the Quran a means for us to reach the most noble stations of honor
45
وَسُلَّمًا نَعْرُجُ فِيهِ إِلَى مَحَلِّ السَّلَامَةِ
wasullaman na`ruju fīhi ilā maḥallis salāmah
And a ladder by which we may ascend to the place of safety
46
وَسَبَبًا نُجْزَى بِهِ النَّجَاةَ فِيْ عَرْصَةِ الْقِيَامَةِ
wasababan nujzā bihin najāta fī `ar-ṣatil qiyāmah
And a cause for which we may be rewarded with salvation on the Day of Resurrection
47
وَذَرِيْعَةً نَقْدَمُ بِهَا عَلَى نَعِيمِ دَارِ الْمُقَامَةِ
wadharī`atan naqdamu bihā `alā na`īmi dāril muqāmah
And a means by which we may proceed to the bliss of the Eternal Abode
48
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
49
وَاحْطُطْ بِالْقُرْآنِ عَنَّا ثِقْلَ الْأَوْزَارِ
waḥṭuṭ bil qur-āni `annā thiqlal awzār
And relieve us, through the Quran, of the burden of sins
50
وَهَبْ لَنَا حُسْنَ شَمَائِلِ الْأَبْرَارِ
wahab lanā ḥusna shamā-ilil abrār
And grant us the good character of the righteous
51
وَاقْفُ بِنَا آثَارَ الَّذِيْنَ قَامُوْا لَكَ بِهِ
waqfu binā-āthāral ladhīna qāmū laka bih
And make us follow in the footsteps of those who stood before You with it
52
آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَأَطْرَافَ النَّهَارِ
ānā-al layli wa-aṭrāfan nahār
During the hours of the night and the ends of the day
53
حَتَّى تُطَهِّرَنَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَنَسٍ بِتَطْهِيرِهِ
ḥattā tuṭahhiranā min kulli danasin bitaṭ-hīrih
Until You purify us from every impurity through its purification
54
وَتَقْفُوَ بِنَا آثَارَ الَّذِيْنَ اسْتَضَاؤُوْا بِنُوْرِهِ
wataqfuwa binā-āthāral ladhīnastaḍa-ū binūrih
And make us follow the footsteps of those who sought light from its illumination
55
وَلَمْ يُلْهِهِمُ الْأَمَلُ عَنِ الْعَمَلِ فَيَقْطَعَهُمْ بِخُدَعِ غُرُورِهِ
walam yulhihimul amalu `anil `amali fayaqṭa`ahum bikhuda`i ghurūrih
And were not distracted by false hopes from action, thus being cut off by the deceptions of its delusion
56
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
57
وَاجْعَلِ الْقُرْآنَ لَنَا فِيْ ظُلَمِ اللَّيَالِيْ مُونِسًا
waj`alil qur-āna lanā fī ẓulamil layālī mūnisā
And make the Quran our companion in the darkness of nights
58
وَمِنْ نَزَغَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ وَخَطَرَاتِ الْوَسَاوِسِ حَارِسًا
wamin nazaghātish shayṭāni wakhaṭarātil wasāwisi ḥārisā
And a guardian against the promptings of Satan and the whispers of evil thoughts
59
وَلِأَقْدَامِنَا عَنْ نَقْلِهَا إِلَى الْمَعَاصِيْ حَابِسًا
wali-aqdāminā `an naqlihā ilal ma`āṣī ḥābisā
And a restraint for our feet from moving toward acts of disobedience
60
وَلِأَلْسِنَتِنَا عَنِ الْخَوْضِ فِيْ الْبَاطِلِ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَا آفَةٍ مُخْرِسًا
wali-alsinatinā `anil khawḍi fil bāṭili min ghayri mā-āfatin mukhrisā
And a silencer for our tongues from plunging into falsehood without any affliction
61
وَلِجَوَارِحِنَا عَنِ اقْتِرَافِ الْآثَامِ زَاجِرًا
walijawāriḥinā `aniqtirāfil-āthāmi zājirā
And a deterrent for our limbs from committing sins
62
وَلِمَا طَوَتِ الْغَفْلَةُ عَنَّا مِنْ تَصَفُّحِ الِاعْتِبَارِ نَاشِرًا
walimā ṭawatil ghaflatu `annā min taṣaffuḥil i`tibāri nāshirā
And a means to unfold what heedlessness has folded away from us of the examination of lessons
63
حَتَّى تُوصِلَ إِلَى قُلُوبِنَا فَهْمَ عَجَائِبِهِ
ḥattā tūṣila ilā qulūbinā fahma `ajā-ibih
Until You convey to our hearts the understanding of its wonders
64
وَزَوَاجِرَ أَمْثَالِهِ الَّتِيْ ضَعُفَتِ الْجِبَالُ الرَّوَاسِي
wazawājira amthālihil latī ḍa`ufatil jibālur rawāsī
And the cautionary examples which even the firm mountains
65
عَلَى صَلَابَتِهَا عَنِ احْتِمَالِهِ
`alā ṣalābatihā `aniḥtimālih
In their solidity are too weak to bear
66
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
67
وَأَدِمْ بِالْقُرْآنِ صَلَاحَ ظَاهِرِنَا
wa-adim bil qur-āni ṣalāḥa ẓāhirinā
And through the Quran, maintain the righteousness of our outward selves
68
وَاحْجُبْ بِهِ خَطَرَاتِ الْوَسَاوِسِ عَنْ صِحَّةِ ضَمَائِرِنَا
waḥjub bihi khaṭarātil wasāwisi `an ṣiḥḥati ḍamā-irinā
And through it, veil the suggestions of evil whispers from the soundness of our inner selves
69
وَاغْسِلْ بِهِ دَرَنَ قُلُوبِنَا وَعَلَائِقَ أَوْزَارِنَا
waghsil bihi darana qulūbinā wa`alā-iqa awzārinā
And wash away with it the stains of our hearts and the consequences of our sins
70
وَاجْمَعْ بِهِ مُنْتَشَرَ أُمُورِنَا
wajma` bihi muntashara umūrinā
And gather through it our scattered affairs
71
وَأَرْوِ بِهِ فِيْ مَوْقِفِ الْعَرْضِ عَلَيْكَ ظَمَأَ هَوَاجِرِنَا
wa-ar-wi bihi fī mawqifil `ar-ḍi `alayka ẓama-a hawājirinā
And quench with it, on the day of our presentation before You, the thirst of our scorching heat
72
وَاكْسُنَا بِهِ حُلَلَ الْأَمَانِ يَوْمَ الْفَزَعِ الْأَكْبَرِ فِيْ نُشُورِنَا
waksunā bihi ḥulalal amāni yawmal faza`il akbari fī nushūrinā
And clothe us through it with the garments of security on the day of the greatest terror at our resurrection
73
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
74
وَاجْبُرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ خَلَّتَنَا مِنْ عَدَمِ الْإِمْلَاقِ
wajbur bil qur-āni khallatanā min `adamil imlāq
And through the Quran, compensate our poverty and need
75
وَسُقْ إِلَيْنَا بِهِ رَغَدَ الْعَيْشِ وَخِصْبَ سَعَةِ الْأَرْزَاقِ
wasuq ilaynā bihi raghadal `ayshi wakhiṣba sa`atil ar-zāq
And drive toward us through it the abundance of comfortable life and the fertility of plentiful provisions
76
وَجَنِّبْنَا بِهِ الضَّرَائِبَ الْمَذْمُومَةَ وَمَدَانِيَ الْأَخْلَاقِ
wajannibnā bihiḍ ḍarā-ibal madhmūmata wamadāniyal akhlāq
And through it, keep us away from blameworthy qualities and ignoble morals
77
وَاعْصِمْنَا بِهِ مِنْ هُوَّةِ الْكُفْرِ وَدَوَاعِيْ النِّفَاقِ
wa`ṣimnā bihi min huwwatil kufri wadawā`in nifāq
And preserve us through it from the abyss of disbelief and the motives of hypocrisy
78
حَتَّى يَكُونَ لَنَا فِيْ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَى رِضْوَانِكَ وَجِنَانِكَ قَائِدًا
ḥattā yakūna lanā fil qiyāmati ilā riḍwānika wajinānika qā-idā
Until it becomes for us on the Day of Resurrection a leader to Your pleasure and Your gardens
79
وَلَنَا فِيْ الدُّنْيَا عَنْ سَخَطِكَ وَتَعَدِّيْ حُدُودِكَ ذَائِدًا
walanā fid dunyā `an sakhaṭika wata`addī ḥudūdika dhā-idā
And a barrier for us in this world against Your wrath and transgression of Your boundaries
80
وَلِمَا عِنْدَكَ بِتَحْلِيلِ حَلَالِهِ وَتَحْرِيمِ حَرَامِهِ شَاهِدًا
walimā `indaka bitaḥlīli ḥalālihi wataḥrīmi ḥarāmihi shāhidā
And a witness to what is with You through permitting what it permits and forbidding what it forbids
81
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
82
وَهَوِّنْ بِالْقُرْآنِ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ عَلَى أَنْفُسِنَا كَرْبَ السِّيَاقِ
wahawwin bil qur-āni `indal mawti `alā anfusinā kar-bas siyāq
And through the Quran, make easy for us at death the distress of the driving of the soul
83
وَجَهْدَ الْأَنِينِ وَتَرَادُفَ الْحَشَارِجِ
wajahdal anīni watarādufal ḥashārij
And the exertion of moaning and the succession of the rattling of the throat
84
إِذَا بَلَغَتِ النُّفُوسُ التَّرَاقِيَ وَقِيلَ مَنْ رَاقٍ
idhā balaghatin nufūsut tarāqiya waqīla man rāq
When souls reach the throats and it is said, "Who can cure him?"
85
وَتَجَلَّى مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ لِقَبْضِهَا مِنْ حُجُبِ الْغُيُوبِ
watajallā malakul mawti liqabḍihā min ḥujubil ghuyūb
And the Angel of Death appears to seize them from behind the veils of the unseen
86
وَرَمَاهَا عَنْ قَوْسِ الْمَنَايَا بِأَسْهُمِ وَحْشَةِ الْفِرَاقِ
waramāhā `an qawsil manāyā bi-as-humi waḥshatil firāq
And shoots them from the bow of death with the arrows of the terror of separation
87
وَدَافَ لَهَا مِنْ ذُعَافِ الْمَوْتِ كَأْسًا مَسْمُومَةَ الْمَذَاقِ
wadāfa lahā min dhu`āfil mawti ka-san masmūmatal madhāq
And mixes for them from the venom of death a cup poisoned to the taste
88
وَدَنَا مِنَّا إِلَى الْآخِرَةِ رَحِيلٌ وَانْطِلَاقٌ
wadanā minnā ilal-ākhirati raḥīlun wanṭilāq
And the journey to the Hereafter draws near with departure and setting off
89
وَصَارَتِ الْأَعْمَالُ قَلَائِدَ فِيْ الْأَعْنَاقِ
waṣāratil a`mālu qalā-ida fil a`nāq
And deeds become necklaces around the necks
90
وَكَانَتِ الْقُبُورُ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى إِلَى مِيقَاتِ يَوْمِ التَّلَاقِ
wakānatil qubūru hiyal ma-wā ilā mīqāti yawmit talāq
And the graves become the shelter until the appointed time on the Day of Meeting
91
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
92
وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِيْ حُلُوْلِ دَارِ الْبِلَى
wabārik lanā fī ḥulūli dāril bilā
And bless us in the dwelling of decay
93
وَطُولِ الْمُقَامَةِ بَيْنَ أَطْبَاقِ الثَّرَى
waṭūlil muqāmati bayna aṭbāqith tharā
And the lengthy stay between the layers of the earth
94
وَاجْعَلِ الْقُبُورَ بَعْدَ فِرَاقِ الدُّنْيَا خَيْرَ مَنَازِلِنَا
waj`alil qubūra ba`da firāqid dunyā khayra manāzilinā
And make our graves, after leaving this world, the best of our dwellings
95
وَافْسَحْ لَنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِيْ ضِيقِ مَلَاحِدِنَا
wafsaḥ lanā biraḥmatika fī ḍīqi malāḥidinā
And make spacious for us, by Your mercy, our restricted tombs
96
وَلَا تَفْضَحْنَا فِيْ حَاضِرِيْ الْقِيَامَةِ بِمُوبِقَاتِ آثَامِنَا
walā tafḍaḥnā fī ḥāḍiril qiyāmati bimūbiqāti-āthāminā
And do not disgrace us in the presence of those attending the Resurrection with our destructive sins
97
وَارْحَمْ بِالْقُرْآنِ فِيْ مَوْقِفِ الْعَرْضِ عَلَيْكَ ذُلَّ مَقَامِنَا
war-ḥam bil qur-āni fī mawqifil `ar-ḍi `alayka dhulla maqāminā
And through the Quran, have mercy on the humiliation of our position in our standing before You
98
وَثَبِّتْ بِهِ عِنْدَ اضْطِرَابِ جِسْرِ جَهَنَّمَ
wathabbit bihi `indaḍṭirābi jisri jahannam
And through it make firm, when the bridge over Hell trembles
99
يَوْمَ الْمَجَازِ عَلَيْهَا زَلَلَ أَقْدَامِنَا
yawmal majāzi `alayhā zalala aqdāminā
On the day of crossing over it, the slipping of our feet
100
وَنَوِّرْ بِهِ قَبْلَ الْبَعْثِ سُدَفَ قُبُورِنَا
wanawwir bihi qablal ba`thi sudafa qubūrinā
And through it illuminate the darkness of our graves before the Resurrection
101
وَنَجِّنَا بِهِ مِنْ كُلِّ كَرْبٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
wanajjinā bihi min kulli kar-bin yawmal qiyāmah
And deliver us through it from every distress on the Day of Resurrection
102
وَشَدَائِدِ أَهْوَالِ يَوْمِ الطَّامَّةِ
washadā-idi ahwāli yawmiṭ ṭāmmah
And from the severe terrors of the Day of Calamity
103
وَبَيِّضْ وُجُوهَنَا يَوْمَ تَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهُ الظَّلَمَةِ
wabayyiḍ wujūhanā yawma taswaddu wujūhuẓ ẓalamah
And whiten our faces on the day when the faces of wrongdoers will be blackened
104
فِيْ يَوْمِ الْحَسْرَةِ وَالنَّدَامَةِ
fī yawmil ḥasrati wan nadāmah
On the day of regret and remorse
105
وَاجْعَلْ لَنَا فِيْ صُدُورِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وُدًّا
waj`al lanā fī ṣudūril mu-minīna wuddā
And create love for us in the hearts of the believers
106
وَلَا تَجْعَلِ الْحَيَاةَ عَلَيْنَا نَكَدًا
walā taj`alil ḥayāta `alaynā nakadā
And do not make life for us a burden
107
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin `abdika warasūlik
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, Your servant and Your messenger
108
كَمَا بَلَّغَ رِسَالَتَكَ وَصَدَعَ بِأَمْرِكَ وَنَصَحَ لِعِبَادِكَ
kamā ballagha risālataka waṣada`a bi-amrika wanaṣaḥa li`ibādik
As he delivered Your message, proclaimed Your command, and gave good counsel to Your servants
109
اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ نَبِيَّنَا صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ
allāhummaj`al nabiyyanā ṣalawātuka `alayh
O Allah, make our Prophet, Your blessings be upon him
110
وَعَلَى آلِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَقْرَبَ النَّبِيِّينَ مِنْكَ مَجْلِسًا
wa`alā-ālihi yawmal qiyāmati aqraban nabiyyīna minka majlisā
And upon his family, on the Day of Resurrection, the nearest of the prophets to You in seat
111
وَأَمْكَنَهُمْ مِنْكَ شَفَاعَةً وَأَجَلَّهُمْ عِنْدَكَ قَدْرًا
wa-amkanahum minka shafā`atan wa-ajallahum `indaka qadrā
And the most able in intercession with You, and the most eminent in rank with You
112
وَأَوْجَهَهُمْ عِنْدَكَ جَاهًا
wa-awjahahum `indaka jāhā
And the most honored in status with You
113
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَشَرِّفْ بُنْيَانَهُ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammadin washarrif bunyānah
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and ennoble his edifice
114
وَعَظِّمْ بُرْهَانَهُ وَثَقِّلْ مِيزَانَهُ
wa`aẓẓim bur-hānahu wathaqqil mīzānah
And magnify his proof and make heavy his scale
115
وَتَقَبَّلْ شَفَاعَتَهُ وَقَرِّبْ وَسِيْلَتَهُ
wataqabbal shafā`atahu waqarrib wasīlatah
And accept his intercession and bring near his means of approach
116
وَبَيِّضْ وَجْهَهُ وَأَتِمَّ نُورَهُ
wabayyiḍ wajhahu wa-atimma nūrah
And whiten his face and perfect his light
117
وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ وَأَحْيِنَا عَلَى سُنَّتِهِ
war-fa` darajatahu wa-aḥyinā `alā sunnatih
And raise his rank and revive us according to his tradition
118
وَتَوَفَّنَا عَلَى مِلَّتِهِ وَخُذْ بِنَا مِنْهَاجَهُ
watawaffanā `alā millatihi wakhudh binā minhājah
And cause us to die following his religion and take us along his path
119
وَاسْلُكْ بِنَا سَبِيلَهُ وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ طَاعَتِهِ
wasluk binā sabīlahu waj`alnā min ahli ṭā`atih
And make us travel his way and make us among the people who obey him
120
وَاحْشُرْنَا فِيْ زُمْرَتِهِ
waḥshur-nā fī zumratih
And gather us in his company
121
وَأَوْرِدْنَا حَوْضَهُ وَاسْقِنَا بِكَأْسِهِ
wa-awridnā ḥawḍahu wasqinā bika-sih
And lead us to his pool and give us to drink from his cup
122
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
123
صَلَاةً تُبَلِّغُهُ بِهَا أَفْضَلَ
ṣalātan tuballighuhu bihā afḍal
Blessings by which You convey to him the best
124
مَا يَأْمُلُ مِنْ خَيْرِكَ وَفَضْلِكَ وَكَرَامَتِكَ
mā ya-mulu min khayrika wafaḍlika wakarāmatik
Of what he hopes for of Your goodness, Your bounty, and Your generosity
125
إِنَّكَ ذُوْ رَحْمَةٍ وَاسِعَةٍ وَفَضْلٍ كَرِيمٍ
innaka dhū raḥmatin wāsi`atin wafaḍlin karīm
Indeed, You are the Possessor of vast mercy and noble bounty
126
اَللَّهُمَّ اجْزِهِ بِمَا بَلَّغَ مِنْ رِسَالَاتِكَ
allāhummajzihi bimā ballagha min risālātik
O Allah, reward him for what he conveyed of Your messages
127
وَأَدَّى مِنْ آيَاتِكَ وَنَصَحَ لِعِبَادِكَ
wa-addā min-āyātika wanaṣaḥa li`ibādik
And fulfilled of Your signs, and advised Your servants
128
وَجَاهَدَ فِيْ سَبِيلِكَ أَفْضَلَ مَا جَزَيْتَ
wajāhada fī sabīlika afḍala mā jazayt
And strived in Your way, with the best of what You have rewarded
129
أَحَدًا مِنْ مَلَائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ وَأَنْبِيَائِكَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ
aḥadan min malā-ikatikal muqarrabīna wa-anbiyā-ikal mur-salīnal muṣṭafayn
Any one of Your close angels and Your chosen sent prophets
130
وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
was salāmu `alayhi wa`alā-ālihiṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīn
And peace be upon him and upon his pure and purified family
131
وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And the mercy of Allah and His blessings
