بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِكَ
allāhumma inna hadhayni-āyatāni min-āyātik
O Allah, these two are signs from Your signs
2
وَ هَذَيْنِ عَوْنَانِ مِنْ أَعْوَانِكَ
wa hadhayni `awnāni min a`wānik
And these two are assistants from Your assistants
3
يَبْتَدِرَانِ طَاعَتَكَ بِرَحْمَةٍ نَافِعَةٍ أَوْ نَقِمَةٍ ضَارَّةٍ
yabtadirāni ṭā`ataka biraḥmatin nāfi`atin aw naqimatin ḍārrah
They hasten to obey You with beneficial mercy or harmful vengeance
4
فَلَا تُمْطِرْنَا بِهِمَا مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ
falā tumṭir-nā bihimā maṭaras saw
So do not rain upon us through them an evil rain
5
وَ لَا تُلْبِسْنَا بِهِمَا لِبَاسَ الْبَلَاءِ
wa lā tulbisnā bihimā libāsal balā
And do not clothe us through them with the garment of affliction
6
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa-ālih
Send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
7
وَ أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا نَفْعَ هَذِهِ السَّحَائِبِ وَ بَرَكَتَهَا
wa anzil `alaynā naf`a hadhihis saḥā-ibi wa barakatahā
And send down upon us the benefit of these clouds and their blessings
8
وَ اصْرِفْ عَنَّا أَذَاهَا وَ مَضَرَّتَهَا
waṣrif `annā adhāhā wa maḍarratahā
And turn away from us their harm and damage
9
وَ لَا تُصِبْنَا فِيهَا بِآفَةٍ
wa lā tuṣibnā fīhā bi-āfah
And do not afflict us in them with calamity
10
وَ لَا تُرْسِلْ عَلَى مَعَايِشِنَا عَاهَةً
wa lā tur-sil `alā ma`āyishinā `āhah
And do not send upon our livelihoods any blight
11
اَللَّهُمَّ وَ إِنْ كُنْتَ بَعَثْتَهَا نِقْمَةً وَ أَرْسَلْتَهَا سَخْطَةً
allāhumma wa in kunta ba`athtahā niqmatan wa ar-saltahā sakhṭah
O Allah, if You have sent them as vengeance and dispatched them in anger
12
فَإِنَّا نَسْتَجِيرُكَ مِنْ غَضَبِكَ
fa-innā nastajīruka min ghaḍabik
Then we seek protection from Your wrath
13
وَ نَبْتَهِلُ إِلَيْكَ فِيْ سُؤَالِ عَفْوِكَ
wa nabtahilu ilayka fī su-āli `afwik
And we implore You in asking for Your pardon
14
فَمِلْ بِالْغَضَبِ إِلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ
famil bil ghaḍabi ilal mushrikīn
So direct Your wrath towards the polytheists
15
وَ أَدِرْ رَحَى نَقِمَتِكَ عَلَى الْمُلْحِدِيْنَ
wa adir raḥā naqimatika `alal mulḥidīn
And turn the millstone of Your vengeance upon the atheists
16
اَللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ مَحْلَ بِلَادِنَا بِسُقْيَاكَ
allāhumma adh-hib maḥla bilādinā bisuqyāk
O Allah, remove the drought from our lands with Your watering
17
وَ أَخْرِجْ وَحَرَ صُدُورِنَا بِرِزْقِكَ
wa akhrij waḥara ṣudūrinā birizqik
And expel the burning in our hearts with Your provision
18
وَ لَا تَشْغَلْنَا عَنْكَ بِغَيْرِكَ
wa lā tashghalnā `anka bighayrik
And do not preoccupy us from You with other than You
19
وَ لَا تَقْطَعْ عَنْ كَافَّتِنَا مَادَّةَ بِرِّكَ
wa lā taqṭa` `an kāffatinā māddata birrik
And do not cut off from all of us the resource of Your goodness
20
فَإِنَّ الْغَنِيَّ مَنْ أَغْنَيْتَ
fa-innal ghaniyya man aghnayt
For the rich is the one whom You enrich
21
وَ إِنَّ السَّالِمَ مَنْ وَقَيْتَ
wa innas sālima man waqayt
And the safe is the one whom You protect
22
مَا عِنْدَ أَحَدٍ دُونَكَ دِفَاعٌ
mā `inda aḥadin dūnaka difā`
No one has any defense apart from You
23
وَ لَا بِأَحَدٍ عَنْ سَطْوَتِكَ امْتِنَاعٌ
wa lā bi-aḥadin `an saṭwatikamtinā`
And no one has any protection from Your power
24
تَحْكُمُ بِمَا شِئْتَ عَلَى مَنْ شِئْتَ
taḥkumu bimā shi-ta `alā man shi-t
You judge as You wish upon whom You wish
25
وَ تَقْضِيْ بِمَا أَرَدْتَ فِيمَنْ أَرَدْتَ
wa taqḍī bimā aradta fīman aradt
And You decree what You intend for whom You intend
26
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى مَا وَقَيْتَنَا مِنَ الْبَلَاءِ
falakal ḥamdu `alā mā waqaytanā minal balā
So to You is praise for what You have protected us from affliction
27
وَ لَكَ الشُّكْرُ عَلَى مَا خَوَّلْتَنَا مِنَ النَّعْمَاءِ
wa lakash shukru `alā mā khawwaltanā minan na`mā
And to You is gratitude for what You have granted us of blessings
28
حَمْدًا يُخَلِّفُ حَمْدَ الْحَامِدِيْنَ وَرَاءَهُ
ḥamdan yukhallifu ḥamdal ḥāmidīna warā-ah
Praise that surpasses the praise of all who praise
29
حَمْدًا يَمْلَأُ أَرْضَهُ وَ سَمَاءَهُ
ḥamdan yamla-u ar-ḍahu wa samā-ah
Praise that fills His earth and His heaven
30
إِنَّكَ الْمَنَّانُ بِجَسِيمِ الْمِنَنِ
innakal mannānu bijasīmil minan
Indeed, You are the Bestower of great favors
31
اَلْوَهَّابُ لِعَظِيمِ النِّعَمِ
al wahhābu li`aẓīmin ni`am
The Granter of magnificent blessings
32
اَلْقَابِلُ يَسِيرَ الْحَمْدِ
al qābilu yasīral ḥamd
The Acceptor of little praise
33
اَلشَّاكِرُ قَلِيلَ الشُّكْرِ
ash shākiru qalīlash shukr
The Appreciator of little thanks
34
اَلْمُحْسِنُ الْمُجْمِلُ ذُوْ الطَّوْلِ
al muḥsinul mujmilu dhuṭ ṭawl
The Beneficent, the Beautiful, the Possessor of bounty
35
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ إِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
lā ilaha illā anta ilaykal maṣīr
There is no god but You, to You is the final return
