بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

أَللَّهُمَّ يَا ذَا الْمُلْكِ الْمُتَأَبِّدِ بِالْخُلُودِ وَالْسُّلْطَانِ
allāhumma yā dhal mulkil muta-abbidi bil khulūdi wassulṭān
O Allah, O Owner of Everlasting Dominion and Authority

اَلْمُمْتَنِعِ بِغَيْرِ جُنُودٍ وَلَا أَعْوَانٍ
al mumtani`i bighayri junūdin walā a`wān
Who needs no armies or helpers
3
وَالْعِزِّ الْبَاقِيْ عَلَى مَرِّ الدُّهُورِ
wal`izzil bāqī `alā marrid duhūr
Whose glory remains throughout the passage of ages
4
وَخَوَالِيْ الْاَعْوَامِ، وَمَوَاضِيْ الْاَزْمَانِ وَالْأَيَّامِ
wakhawālil a`wām, wamawāḍil azmāni wal-ayyām
Through the passing years, times, and days
5
عَزَّ سُلْطَانُكَ عِزًّا لَا حَدَّ لَهُ بِأَوَّلِيَّةٍ وَلَا مُنْتَهَى لَهُ بِآخِرِيَّةٍ
`azza sulṭānuka `izzan lā ḥadda lahu bi-awwaliyyatin walā muntahā lahu bi-ākhiriyyah
Your authority is so mighty that it has no beginning limit nor any ending boundary
6
وَاسْتَعْلَى مُلْكُكَ عُلُوًّا سَقَطَتِ الْأَشْيَاءُ دُوْنَ بُلُوغِ أَمَدِهِ
wasta`lā mulkuka `uluwwan saqaṭatil ashyā-u dūna bulūghi amadih
Your dominion is so exalted that all things fall short of reaching its extent
7
وَلَا يَبْلُغُ أَدْنَى مَا اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِـهِ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ أَقْصَى نَعْتِ النَّـاعِتِينَ
walā yablughu adnā masta-thar-ta bihi min dhālika aqṣā na`tin na`itīn
Even the highest praise of those who praise cannot reach the least of what You alone possess
8
ضَلَّتْ فِيْـكَ الصِّفَاتُ وَتَفَسَّخَتْ دُونَكَ النُّعُوتُ
ḍallat fīkaṣ ṣifātu watafassakhat dūnakan nu`ūt
All descriptions fail to comprehend You, and all attributes fall short before You
9
وَحَارَتْ فِيْ كِبْرِيَائِكَ لَطَائِفُ الَاوْهَامِ
waḥārat fī kibriyā-ika laṭā-iful awhām
The subtlest imaginations are bewildered by Your greatness
10
كَذٰلِكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ الْاَوَّلُ فِيْ أَوَّلِيَّتِكَ
kadhālika antallāhul awwalu fī awwaliyyatik
Such are You, Allah, the First in Your eternity
11
وَعَلَى ذٰلِكَ أَنْتَ دَائِمٌ لَا تَزُولُ
wa`alā dhālika anta dā-imun lā tazūl
And thus You remain forever, never ceasing to be
12
وَأَنَا الْعَبْدُ الضَّعِيْفُ عَمَلًا الجَسِيْمُ أَمَلًا
wa-anal `abduḍ ḍa`īfu `amalanil jasīmu amalā
And I am the servant, weak in deeds yet great in hopes
13
خَرَجَتْ مِنْ يَدِيْ أَسْبَابُ الْوُصُلاَتِ إِلَّا مَا وَصَلَهُ رَحْمَتُكَ
kharajat min yadī asbābul wuṣulāti illā mā waṣalahu raḥmatuk
The means of connection have slipped from my hands, except what Your mercy has connected
14
وَتَقَطَّعَتْ عَنِّيْ عِصَمُ الْآمَالِ
wataqaṭṭa`at `annī `iṣamul-āmāl
The bonds of hope have been severed from me
15
إِلَّا مَا أَنَا مُعْتَصِمٌ بِهِ مِنْ عَفْوِكَ
illā mā ana mu`taṣimun bihi min `afwik
Except what I cling to of Your forgiveness
16
قَلَّ عِنْدِيْ مَا أَعْتَدُّ بِهِ مِنْ طَاعَتِكَ
qalla `indī mā a`taddu bihi min ṭā`atik
Little is what I count as my obedience to You
17
وَكَثُرَ عَلَيَّ مَا أَبُوءُ بِهِ مِنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ
wakathura `alayya mā abū-u bihi min ma`ṣiyatik
And great is what burdens me from my disobedience to You
18
وَلَنْ يَضِيْقَ عَلَيْكَ عَفْوٌ عَنْ عَبْدِكَ وَ اِنْ أَسَاءَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
walan yaḍīqa `alayka `afwun `an `abdika wa in asā-a fa`fu `annī
Yet pardoning Your servant will not constrain You, even if he did evil, so forgive me
19
أَللَّهُمَّ وَقَدْ أَشْرَفَ عَلَى خَفَايَا الْاَعْمَالِ عِلْمُكَ
allāhumma waqad ashrafa `alā khafāyal a`māli `ilmuk
O Allah, Your knowledge encompasses the hidden aspects of deeds
20
وَانْكَشَفَ كُلُّ مَسْتُوْرٍ دُوْنَ خُبْرِكَ
wankashafa kullu mastūrin dūna khubrik
And everything concealed is exposed to Your awareness
21
وَلَا تَنْطَوِيْ عَنْكَ دَقَائِقُ الْأُمُورِ
walā tanṭawī `anka daqā-iqul umūr
The subtle details of matters are not hidden from You
22
وَلَا تَعْزُبُ عَنْكَ غَيِّبَاتُ السَّرَائِرِ
walā ta`zubu `anka ghayyibātus sarā-ir
And the secrets of hearts do not elude You
23
وَقَدِ اسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيَّ عَدُوُّكَ الَّذِيْ اسْتَنْظَرَكَ لِغَوَايَتِيْ فَأَنْظَرْتَهُ
waqadistaḥwadha `alayya `aduwwukal ladhistanẓaraka lighawāyatī fa-anẓar-tah
Your enemy has taken control of me - the one who asked Your permission to mislead me, and You allowed him
24
وَاسْتَمْهَلَكَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ لِأَضْلاَلِيْ فَأَمْهَلْتَهُ
wastamhalaka ilā yawmid dīni li-aḍlālī fa-amhaltah
He asked for respite until the Day of Judgment to lead me astray, and You granted it
25
فَاَوْقَعَنِيْ وَقَدْ هَرَبْتُ إِلَيْكَ
fa-awqa`anī waqad harabtu ilayk
So he trapped me even as I fled to You
26
مِنْ صَغَائِرِ ذُنُوبٍ مُوبِقَةٍ
min ṣaghā-iri dhunūbin mūbiqah
From small destructive sins
27
وَكَبَائِرِ أَعْمَالٍ مُرْدِيَـةٍ
wakabā-iri a`mālin mur-diyah
And major ruinous deeds
28
حَتَّى إِذَا قَارَفْتُ مَعْصِيَتَـكَ
ḥattā idhā qāraftu ma`ṣiyatak
Until when I committed acts of disobedience to You
29
وَاسْتَوْجَبْتُ بِسُوءِ سَعْيِيْ سَخْطَتَكَ
wastawjabtu bisū-i sa`yī sakhṭatak
And deserved Your wrath through my evil efforts
30
فَتَلَ عَنِّيْ عِذَارَ غَدْرِهِ
fatala `annī `idhāra ghadrih
He removed from me the bridle of his deceit
31
وَتَلَقَّانِيْ بِكَلِمَةِ كُفْرِهِ
watalaqqānī bikalimati kufrih
And confronted me with words of his disbelief
32
وَتَوَلَّى الْبَرَاءَةَ مِنِّيْ وَأَدْبَرَ مُوَلِّيًا عَنِّي
watawallal barā-ata minnī wa-adbara muwalliyan `annī
He disavowed me and turned his back, fleeing from me
33
فَأَصْحَرنِيْ لِغَضَبِكَ فَرِيدًا
fa-aṣ-ḥarnī lighaḍabika farīdā
So he exposed me alone to Your anger
34
وَأَخْرَجَنِيْ إِلَى فِنَاءِ نَقِمَتِكَ طَرِيدًا
wa-akhrajanī ilā finā-i naqimatika ṭarīdā
And drove me out as an outcast to the courtyard of Your vengeance
35
لَا شَفِيعٌ يَشْفَعُ لِيْ إِلَيْـكَ
lā shafī`un yashfa`u lī ilayk
With no intercessor to plead for me before You
36
وَلَا خَفِيـرٌ يُؤْمِنُنِيْ عَلَيْـكَ
walā khafīrun yu-minunī `alayk
No protector to grant me security against You
37
وَلَا حِصْنٌ يَحْجُبُنِيْ عَنْكَ
walā ḥiṣnun yaḥjubunī `ank
No fortress to shield me from You
38
وَلَا مَلَاَذٌ أَلْجَأُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْكَ
walā mala-adhun alja-u ilayhi mink
No refuge to which I might flee from You
39
فَهَذَا مَقَامُ الْعَائِذِ بِكَ، وَمَحَلُّ الْمُعْتَرِفِ لَكَ
fahadhā maqāmul `ā-idhi bik, wamaḥallul mu`tarifi lak
This is the position of one seeking refuge in You, and the place of one who confesses to You
40
فَلَا يَضِيقَنَّ عَنِّيْ فَضْلُكَ، وَلَا يَقْصُـرَنَّ دونِيْ عَفْوُكَ
falā yaḍīqanna `annī faḍluk, walā yaqṣuranna dunī `afwuk
So let not Your grace be too narrow for me, and let not Your pardon fall short of me
41
وَلَا أكُنْ أَخْيَبَ عِبَادِكَ التَّائِبِينَ
walā kun akhyaba `ibādikat tā-ibīn
Let me not be the most disappointed of Your repentant servants
42
وَلَا أَقْنَطَ وفُودِكَ الْآمِلِينَ
walā aqnaṭa ufūdikal-āmilīn
Nor the most despairing of those who hope in You
43
وَاغْفِرْ لِيْ إِنَّكَ خَيْرُ الْغَافِرِينَ
waghfir lī innaka khayrul ghāfirīn
Forgive me, for You are the Best of Forgivers
44
أَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَمَرْتَنِيْ فَتَرَكْتُ، وَنَهَيْتَنِيْ فَرَكِبْتُ
allāhumma innaka amar-tanī fatarakt, wanahaytanī farakibt
O Allah, You commanded me but I abandoned, You forbade me but I committed
45
وَسَوَّلَ لِيَ الْخَطَأَ خَاطِرُ السُّوءِ فَفَرَّطْتُ
wasawwala liyal khaṭa-a khāṭirus sū-i fafarraṭt
Evil thoughts made error seem appealing to me, so I was negligent
46
وَلَا أَسْتَشْهِدُ عَلَى صِيَامِيْ نَهَـارًا
walā astash-hidu `alā ṣiyāmī naharā
I cannot call upon witnesses for my fasting during the day
47
وَلَا أَسْتَجِيرُ بِتَهَجُّدِيْ لَيْلًا
walā astajīru bitahajjudī laylā
Nor can I seek protection through my night vigils
48
وَلَا تُثْنِيْ عَلَيَّ بِإِحْيَائِهَا سُنَّةٌ
walā tuthnī `alayya bi-iḥyā-ihā sunnah
No Sunnah practice can commend me for reviving it
49
حَـاشَا فُرُوضِـكَ الَّتِيْ مَنْ ضَيَّعَهَا هَلَكَ
ḥashā furūḍikal latī man ḍayya`ahā halak
Except Your obligatory duties, which whoever neglects is ruined
50
وَلَسْتُ أَتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيْكَ بِفَضْلِ نَافِلَة
walastu atawassalu ilayka bifaḍli nāfilah
I cannot appeal to You through the excellence of optional devotions
51
مَعَ كَثِيرِ مَا أَغْفَلْتُ مِنْ وَظَائِفِ فُرُوضِكَ
ma`a kathīri mā aghfaltu min waẓā-ifi furūḍik
Given how much I have neglected of Your obligatory duties
52
وَتَعَدَّيْتُ عَنْ مَقَامَاتِ حُدُودِكَ
wata`addaytu `an maqāmāti ḥudūdik
And how I have transgressed beyond the stations of Your limits
53
إِلَى حُرُمَاتٍ انْتَهَكْتُهَا، وَكَبَائِرِ ذُنُوبٍ اجْتَرَحْتُهَا
ilā ḥurumātinitahaktuhā, wakabā-iri dhunūbinijtaraḥtuhā
To sacred things I have violated, and major sins I have committed
54
كَانَتْ عَافِيَتُكَ لِيْ مِنْ فَضَائِحِهَا سِتْرًا
kānat `āfiyatuka lī min faḍā-iḥihā sitrā
Your protection was a covering for me from their scandal
55
وَهٰذَا مَقَامُ مَنِ اسْتَحْيَى لِنَفْسِهِ مِنْكَ
wahādhā maqāmu manistaḥyā linafsihi mink
This is the position of one who is ashamed before You for himself
56
وَسَخِطَ عَلَيْهَا، وَرَضِيَ عَنْكَ
wasakhiṭa `alayhā, waraḍiya `ank
Who is displeased with himself, yet pleased with You
57
فَتَلَقَّاكَ بِنَفْسٍ خَاشِعَة، وَرَقَبَةٍ خَاضِعَة، وَظَهْرٍ مُثْقَلٍ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا
fatalaqqāka binafsin khāshi`at, waraqabatin khāḍi`at, waẓahrin muthqalin minal khaṭāyā
So he comes to You with a humble soul, a submissive neck, and a back burdened with sins
58
وَاقِفًا بَيْنَ الرَّغْبَةِ إِلَيْكَ وَالرَّهْبَةِ مِنْكَ
wāqifan baynar raghbati ilayka war rahbati mink
Standing between hope in You and fear of You
59
وَأَنْتَ أَوْلَى مَنْ رَجَـاهُ
wa-anta awlā man rajah
And You are the most worthy of those in whom he hopes
60
وَأَحَقُّ مَنْ خَشِيَـهُ وَاتَّقَـاهُ
wa-aḥaqqu man khashiyahu wattaqāh
And the most deserving of those whom he fears and is cautious of
61
فَاعْطِنِيْ يَا رَبِّ مَا رَجَوْتُ، وَ آمِنِّيْ مَا حَذِرْتُ
fa`ṭinī yā rabbi mā rajawt, wa āminnī mā ḥadhir-t
So grant me, O Lord, what I hope for, and secure me from what I dread
62
وَعُدْ عَلَيَّ بِعَائِدَةِ رَحْمَتِكَ إِنَّكَ أَكْرَمُ الْمَسْؤُوْلِينَ
wa`ud `alayya bi`ā-idati raḥmatika innaka akramul mas-ūlīn
And bestow upon me the benefits of Your mercy, for You are the Most Generous of those who are asked
63
أَللَّهُمَّ وَإِذْ سَتَـرْتَنِيْ بِعَفْوِكَ وَتَغَمَّـدْتَنِيْ بِفَضْلِكَ
allāhumma wa-idh satar-tanī bi`afwika wataghammadtanī bifaḍlik
O Allah, since You have covered me with Your pardon and enveloped me in Your grace
64
فِيْ دَارِ الْفَنَاءِ بِحَضرَةِ الْأَكْفَاءِ
fī dāril fanā-i biḥaḍratil akfā
In this transient world in the presence of my peers
65
فَأَجِرْنِيْ مِنْ فَضِيحَاتِ دَارِ الْبَقَاءِ
fa-ajir-nī min faḍīḥāti dāril baqā
Then protect me from the disgraces of the eternal abode
66
عِنْدَ مَوَاقِفِ الْأَشْهَادِ مِنَ المَلَائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
`inda mawāqifil ash-hādi minal malā-ikatil muqarrabīn
At the stations where witnesses stand - the close angels
67
وَالرُّسُلِ الْمُكَرَّمِيْنَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِيْنَ
war rusulil mukarramīna wash shuhadā-i waṣ ṣāliḥīn
The honored messengers, the martyrs, and the righteous
68
مِنْ جَارٍ كُنْتُ أُكَاتِمُهُ سَيِّئاتِي
min jārin kuntu ukātimuhu sayyi-ātī
From a neighbor from whom I used to hide my sins
69
وَمِنْ ذِيْ رَحِمٍ كُنْتُ أَحْتَشِمُ مِنْهُ فِيْ سَرِيرَاتِي
wamin dhī raḥimin kuntu aḥtashimu minhu fī sarīrātī
And from a relative from whom I was shy regarding my private affairs
70
لَمْ أَثِقْ بِهِمْ رَبِّ فِيْ السِّتْرِ عَلَيَّ
lam athiq bihim rabbi fis sitri `alayy
I did not trust them, my Lord, to cover me
71
وَوَثِقْتُ بِكَ رَبِّ فِيْ الْمَغفِرَةِ لِيْ
wawathiqtu bika rabbi fil maghfirati lī
But I trusted in You, my Lord, to forgive me
72
وَأَنْتَ اَوْلَى مَنْ وُثِقَ بِهِ وَأَعْطَى مَنْ رُغِبَ إِلَيْهِ
wa-anta awlā man wuthiqa bihi wa-a`ṭā man rughiba ilayh
And You are the most worthy of being trusted and the most generous to those who seek from You
73
وَأَرْأَفُ مَنِ اسْتُرْحِمَ فَارْحَمْنِي
wa-ar-afu manistur-ḥima far-ḥamnī
And the most compassionate of those from whom mercy is sought, so have mercy on me
74
أَللَّهُمَّ وَأَنْتَ حَدَرْتَنِيْ مَاءً مَهِينًا مِنْ صُلْبٍ
allāhumma wa-anta ḥadar-tanī mā-an mahīnan min ṣulb
O Allah, You made me descend as a humble fluid from a spine
75
مُتَضَائِقِ الْعِظَامِ حَرِجِ الْمَسَالِكِ
mutaḍā-iqil `iẓāmi ḥarijil masālik
With narrow bones and constricted passages
76
إِلَى رَحِم ضَيِّقَة سَتَرْتَهَا بِالْحُجُبِ
ilā raḥim ḍayyiqat satar-tahā bil ḥujub
To a narrow womb which You covered with veils
77
تُصَرِّفُنِيْ حَالًاَ عَنْ حَال حَتَّى انْتَهَيْتَ بِيْ إِلَى تَمَامِ الصُّورَةِ
tuṣarrifunī ḥālana `an ḥāl ḥattantahayta bī ilā tamāmiṣ ṣūrah
You transformed me from state to state until You brought me to the completion of form
78
وَأَثْبَتَّ فِيَّ الْجَوَارحَ
wa-athbatta fiyyal jawārḥ
And established in me the limbs
79
كَمَا نَعَتَّ فِيْ كِتَابِكَ
kamā na`atta fī kitābik
As You described in Your Book
80
نُطْفَةً ثُمَّ عَلَقَةً ثُمَّ مُضْغَةً ثُمَّ عِظَامًا
nuṭfatan thumma `alaqatan thumma muḍghatan thumma `iẓāmā
A drop, then a clot, then a lump, then bones
81
ثُمَّ كَسَوْتَ الْعِظَامَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ أَنْشَأتَنِيْ خَلْقًا آخَرَ كَمَا شِئْتَ
thumma kasawtal `iẓāma laḥman thumma ansha-tanī khalqan-ākhara kamā shi-t
Then You clothed the bones with flesh, then created me as another creature as You willed
82
حَتَّى إِذَا احْتَجْتُ إِلَى رِزْقِكَ
ḥattā idhaḥtajtu ilā rizqik
Until when I needed Your provision
83
وَلَمْ أَسْتَغْنِ عَنْ غِيَـاثِ فَضْلِكَ
walam astaghni `an ghiyathi faḍlik
And could not dispense with the aid of Your grace
84
جَعَلْتَ لِيْ قُـوَّتًا مِنْ فَضْلِ طَعَام وَشَرَاب
ja`alta lī quwwatan min faḍli ṭa`ām washarāb
You made for me sustenance from the abundance of food and drink
85
أَجْرَيْتَهُ لِأَمَتِكَ الَّتِيْ أَسْكَنْتَنِيْ جَوْفَهَا وَأَوْدَعْتَنِيْ قَرَارَ رَحِمِهَا
ajraytahu li-amatikal latī askantanī jawfahā wa-awda`tanī qarāra raḥimihā
Which You provided for Your maidservant in whose belly You lodged me and in whose womb You deposited me
86
وَلَوْ تَكِلُنِيْ يَا رَبِّ فِيْ تِلْكَ الْحَـالَاتِ إِلَى حَوْلِي
walaw takilunī yā rabbi fī tilkal ḥalāti ilā ḥawlī
If You had entrusted me, O Lord, in those states to my own strength
87
أَوْ تَضْطَرُّنِيْ إِلَى قُوّتي
aw taḍṭarrunī ilā quwwti
Or forced me to rely on my own power
88
لَكَانَ الْحَوْلُ عَنِّيْ مُعْتَزِلًا، وَلَكَانَتِ الْقُوَّةُ مِنِّيْ بَعِيدَةً
lakānal ḥawlu `annī mu`tazilā, walakānatil quwwatu minnī ba`īdah
Strength would have been far from me, and power would have been distant from me
89
فَغَذَوْتَنِيْ بِفَضْلِكَ غِذَاءَ البَرِّ اللَّطِيفِ
faghadhawtanī bifaḍlika ghidhā-al barril laṭīf
So You nourished me by Your grace with the nourishment of the tender, kind one
90
تَفْعَلُ ذٰلِكَ بِيْ تَطَوُّلًا عَلَيَّ إِلَى غَايَتِيْ هَذِهِ
taf`alu dhālika bī taṭawwulan `alayya ilā ghāyatī hadhih
You did that for me out of Your favor until this present time
91
لَا أَعْدَمُ بِرَّكَ وَلَا يُبْطِئُ بِيْ حُسْنُ صَنِيعِكَ
lā a`damu birraka walā yubṭi-u bī ḥusnu ṣanī`ik
I do not lack Your goodness, nor is Your beneficence slow to reach me
92
وَلَا تَتَأَكَّدُ مَعَ ذٰلِكَ ثِقَتِي
walā tata-akkadu ma`a dhālika thiqatī
Yet with all that, my confidence does not become firm
93
فَأَتَفَرَّغَ لِمَا هُوَ أَحْظَى لِيْ عِنْدَكَ
fa-atafarragha limā huwa aḥẓā lī `indak
So that I might devote myself to what is more favorable for me with You
94
قَدْ مَلَكَ الشَّيْطَانُ عِنَانِيْ فِيْ سُوءِ الظَّنِّ وَضَعْفِ الْيَقِينِ
qad malakash shayṭānu `inānī fī sū-iẓ ẓanni waḍa`fil yaqīn
Satan has gained control over me through evil thoughts and weak certainty
95
فَأَنَا أَشْكُوْ سُوْءَ مُجَاوَرَتِهِ لِيْ وَطَـاعَةَ نَفْسِيْ لَـهُ
fa-ana ashkū sū-a mujāwaratihi lī waṭa`ata nafsī lah
I complain of his evil companionship with me and my soul's obedience to him
96
وَأَسْتَعْصِمُـكَ مِنْ مَلَكَتِهِ، وَأَتَضَـرَّعُ إِلَيْكَ فِيْ صَرْفِ كَيْدِهِ عَنِّيْ
wa-asta`ṣimuka min malakatih, wa-ataḍarra`u ilayka fī ṣar-fi kaydihi `annī
I seek Your protection from his dominion, and I implore You to turn his schemes away from me
97
وَ أَسْأَلُكَ فِيْ أَنْ تُسَهِّلَ إِلَى رِزْقِيْ سَبِيْلًا
wa as-aluka fī an tusahhila ilā rizqī sabīlā
And I ask You to make easy the path to my provision
98
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى ابْتِدَائِكَ بِالنِّعَمِ الْجِسَامِ
falakal ḥamdu `alabtidā-ika binni`amil jisām
So to You belongs praise for initiating great blessings
99
وَإِلْهَامِكَ الشُّكْرَ عَلَى الْإِحْسَانِ وَالْاِنْعَامِ
wa-ilhāmikash shukra `alal iḥsāni wal-in`ām
And inspiring gratitude for kindness and favor
100
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
So bless Muhammad and his family
101
وَسَهِّلْ عَلَيَّ رِزْقِيْ وَأَنْ تُقَنِّعَنِيْ بِتَقْدِيرِكَ لِيْ
wasahhil `alayya rizqī wa-an tuqanni`anī bitaqdīrika lī
And make my provision easy for me, and make me content with what You have decreed for me
102
وَأَنْ تُرْضِيَنِيْ بِحِصَّتِيْ فِيمَا قَسَمْتَ لِيْ
wa-an tur-ḍiyanī biḥiṣṣatī fīmā qasamta lī
And make me satisfied with my portion in what You have apportioned for me
103
وَأَنْ تَجْعَـلَ مَـا ذَهَبَ مِنْ جِسْمِيْ وَعُمُرِيْ
wa-an taj`ala mā dhahaba min jismī wa`umurī
And make what has gone from my body and my life
104
فِيْ سَبِيْلِ طَاعَتِكَ إِنَّكَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
fī sabīli ṭā`atika innaka khayrur rāziqīn
To be in the path of obedience to You, for You are the Best of Providers
105
أَللَهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مَنْ نَارٍ تَغَلَّظْتَ بِهَا عَلَى مَنْ عَصَاكَ
allahumma innī a`ūdhu bika man nārin taghallaẓta bihā `alā man `aṣāk
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from a fire with which You threatened those who disobeyed You
106
وَتَوَعَّدْتَ بِهَا مَنْ صَدَفَ عَنْ رِضَاكَ
watawa``adta bihā man ṣadafa `an riḍāk
And with which You warned those who turned away from Your pleasure
107
وَمِنْ نَارٍ نورُهَا ظُلْمَة وَهَيِّنُهَا أَلِيمٌ، وَبَعِيدُهَا قَرِيبٌ
wamin nārin nuruhā ẓulmat wahayyinuhā alīm, waba`īduhā qarīb
From a fire whose light is darkness, whose easiest punishment is painful, whose distant torment is near
108
وَمِنْ نَارٍ يَأْكُلُ بَعْضَهَا بَعْضٌ
wamin nārin ya-kulu ba`ḍahā ba`ḍ
From a fire that consumes itself
109
وَيَصُولُ بَعْضُهَا عَلَى بَعْض
wayaṣūlu ba`ḍuhā `alā ba`ḍ
And its parts attack one another
110
وَمِنْ نَارٍ تَذَرُ الْعِظَامَ رَمِيمًا
wamin nārin tadharul `iẓāma ramīmā
From a fire that leaves bones decayed
111
وَتَسْقِيْ أَهْلَهَا حَمِيمًا
watasqī ahlahā ḥamīmā
And gives its people scalding water to drink
112
وَمِنْ نَارٍ لَا تُبْقِيْ عَلَى مَنْ تَضَرَّعَ إِلَيْهَا
wamin nārin lā tubqī `alā man taḍarra`a ilayhā
From a fire that shows no mercy to those who humble themselves before it
113
وَلَا تَرْحَمُ مَنِ اسْتَعْطَفَهَا
walā tar-ḥamu manista`ṭafahā
And has no compassion for those who seek its sympathy
114
وَلَا تَقْدِرُ عَلَى التَّخْفِيفِ عَمَّنْ خَشَعَ لَهَا وَاسْتَسْلَمَ إِلَيْهَا
walā taqdiru `alat takhfīfi `amman khasha`a lahā wastaslama ilayhā
It cannot lighten the punishment for those who submit to it and surrender to it
115
تَلْقَى سُكَّانَهَا بِأَحَرِّ مَا لَدَيْهَا مِنْ أَلِيْمِ النَّكَالِ وَشَدِيْدِ الْوَبَالِ
talqā sukkānahā bi-aḥarri mā ladayhā min alīmin nakāli washadīdil wabāl
It meets its inhabitants with the most painful torment and severe punishment at its disposal
116
وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَقَارِبِهَا الْفَاغِرَةِ أَفْوَاهُهَا
wa-a`ūdhu bika min `aqāribihal fāghirati afwāhuhā
I seek refuge in You from its scorpions with gaping mouths
117
وَحَيَّاتِهَا الصَّالِقَةِ بِأَنْيَابِهَا
waḥayyātihaṣ ṣāliqati bi-anyābihā
And its serpents striking with their fangs
118
وَشَرَابِهَا الَّذِيْ يُقَطِّعُ أَمْعَاءَ وَأَفْئِدَةَ سُكَّانِهَا، وَيَنْزِعُ قُلُوبَهُمْ
washarābihal ladhī yuqaṭṭi`u am`ā-a wa-af-idata sukkānihā, wayanzi`u qulūbahum
And from its drink that tears apart the intestines and hearts of its inhabitants, and rips out their hearts
119
وَأَسْتَهْدِيْكَ لِمَا بَاعَدَ مِنْهَا وَأَخَّرَ عَنْهَا
wa-astahdīka limā bā`ada minhā wa-akhhara `anhā
I ask Your guidance to what keeps me away from it and distances me from it
120
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَ آلِـهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammad wa ālih
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family
121
وَأَجِرْنِيْ مِنْهَا بِفَضْلِ رَحْمَتِكَ
wa-ajir-nī minhā bifaḍli raḥmatik
And save me from it by the grace of Your mercy
122
وَأَقِلْنِيْ عَثَرَاتِيْ بِحُسْنِ إِقَالَتِكَ
wa-aqilnī `atharātī biḥusni iqālatik
And forgive my stumbles through Your goodly forgiveness
123
وَلَا تَخْذُلْنِيْ يَا خَيْرَ الْمُجيرِينَ
walā takhdhulnī yā khayral mujirīn
And do not forsake me, O Best of Protectors
124
أَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَقِيْ الْكَرِيهَةَ، وَتُعْطِيْ الْحَسَنَةَ
allāhumma innaka taqil karīhah, watu`ṭil ḥasanah
O Allah, You ward off harm and grant goodness
125
وَتَفْعَلُ مَا تُرِيـدُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
wataf`alu mā turīdu wa-anta `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
You do what You will, and You have power over all things
126
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ، إِذَا ذُكِرَ الْأَبْرَارُ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih, idhā dhukiral abrār
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family, whenever the righteous are mentioned
127
وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ مَا اخْتَلَفَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ
waṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi makhtalafal laylu wan nahār
And bless Muhammad and his family as long as night and day alternate
128
صَلاَةً لَا يَنْقَطِعُ مَدَدُهَا
ṣalātan lā yanqaṭi`u madaduhā
Blessings whose flow is unceasing
129
وَلَا يُحْصَى عَدَدُهَا صَلاَةً تَشْحَنُ الْهَوَاءَ
walā yuḥṣā `adaduhā ṣalātan tash-ḥanul hawā
And whose number cannot be counted, blessings that fill the atmosphere
130
وَتَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ وَالسَّمَاءَ
watamla-ul ar-ḍa was samā
And cover the earth and sky
131
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَرْضَى
ṣallallāhu `alayhi ḥattā yar-ḍā
May Allah bless him until He is pleased
132
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
waṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
And may Allah bless him and his family
133
بَعْدَ الرِّضَا صَلاَةً لَا حَدَّ لَهَا
ba`dar riḍā ṣalātan lā ḥadda lahā
After being pleased, with blessings that have no limit
134
وَلَا مُنْتَهَى يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
walā muntahā yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
And no end, O Most Merciful of the merciful
