بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
أَللَّهُمَّ يَا مَنْ لَا يَصِفُهُ نَعْتُ الْوَاصِفِيْنَ
allāhumma yā man lā yaṣifuhu na`tul wāṣifīn
O Allah, O He whom the descriptions of those who describe cannot describe
2
وَيَا مَنْ لَا يُجَاوِزُهُ رَجَاءُ الرَّاجِيْنَ
wayā man lā yujāwizuhu rajā-ur rājīn
And O He whom the hope of those who hope cannot exceed
3
وَيَا مَنْ لَا يَضِيْعُ لَدَيْهِ أَجْرُ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ
wayā man lā yaḍī`u ladayhi ajrul muḥsinīn
And O He with whom the reward of the good-doers is not lost
4
وَيَا مَنْ هُوَ مُنْتَهَى خَوْفِ الْعَابِدِيْنَ
wayā man huwa muntahā khawfil `ābidīn
And O He who is the ultimate fear of the worshippers
5
وَيَا مَنْ هُوَ غَايَةُ خَشْيَةِ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ
wayā man huwa ghāyatu khashyatil muttaqīn
And O He who is the goal of the reverence of the pious
6
هَذَا مَقَامُ مَنْ تَدَاوَلَتْهُ أَيْدِيْ الذُّنُوْبِ
hadhā maqāmu man tadāwalat-hu aydidh dhunūb
This is the position of one who has been seized by the hands of sins
7
وَقَادَتْهُ أَزِمَّةُ الْخَطَايَا
waqādat-hu azimmatul khaṭāyā
And led by the reins of errors
8
وَاسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيْهِ الشَّيْطَانُ
wastaḥwadha `alayhish shayṭān
And Satan has taken control of him
9
فَقَصَّرَ عَمَّا أَمَرْتَ بِهِ تَفْرِيْطًا
faqaṣṣara `ammā amar-ta bihi tafrīṭā
So he has fallen short in what You have commanded through negligence
10
وَتَعَاطَى مَا نَهَيْتَ عَنْهُ تَغْرِيْرًا
wata`āṭā mā nahayta `anhu taghrīrā
And has pursued what You have forbidden through delusion
11
كَالْجَاهِلِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَيْهِ
kaljāhili biqudratika `alayh
Like one ignorant of Your power over him
12
أَوْ كَالْمُنْكِرِ فَضْلَ إِحْسَانِكَ إِلَيْهِ
aw kalmunkiri faḍla iḥsānika ilayh
Or like one who denies the excellence of Your favor upon him
13
حَتَّى إِذَا انْفَتَحَ لَهُ بَصَرُ الْهُدَى
ḥattā idhanfataḥa lahu baṣarul hudā
Until, when the eye of guidance opened for him
14
وَتَقَشَّعَتْ عَنْهُ سَحَائِبُ الْعَمَى أَحْصَى مَا ظَلَمَ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ
wataqashha`at `anhu saḥā-ibul `amā aḥṣā mā ẓalama bihi nafsah
And the clouds of blindness dispersed from him, he counted the injustice he had done to himself
15
وَفَكَّرَ فِيْمَا خَالَفَ بِهِ رَبَّهُ
wafakkara fīmā khālafa bihi rabbah
And reflected on how he had opposed his Lord
16
فَرَأَى كَبِيْرَ عِصْيَانِهِ كَبِيْرًا
fara-ā kabīra `iṣyānihi kabīrā
So he saw his great disobedience as great
17
وَجَلِيْلَ مُخَالَفَتِهِ جَلِيْلًا
wajalīla mukhālafatihi jalīlā
And his serious opposition as serious
18
فَأَقْبَلَ نَحْوَكَ مُؤَمِّلًا لَكَ، مُسْتَحْيِيًا مِنْكَ
fa-aqbala naḥwaka mu-ammilan lak, mustaḥyiyan mink
So he turned toward You hoping in You, feeling ashamed before You
19
وَوَجَّهَ رَغْبَتَهُ إِلَيْكَ ثِقَةً بِكَ
wawajjaha raghbatahu ilayka thiqatan bik
And directed his desire toward You, trusting in You
20
فَأَمَّكَ بِطَمَعِهِ يَقِيْنًا
fa-ammaka biṭama`ihi yaqīnā
So he aimed at You with his hope, with certainty
21
وَقَصَدَكَ بِخَوْفِهِ إِخْلاَصًا
waqaṣadaka bikhawfihi ikhlāṣā
And he approached You with his fear, in sincerity
22
قَدْ خَلَا طَمَعُهُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَطْمُوْعٍ فِيْهِ غَيْرِكَ
qad khalā ṭama`uhu min kulli maṭmū`in fīhi ghayrik
His hope is void of all objects of hope except You
23
وَأَفْرَخَ رَوْعُهُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَحْذُوْرٍ مِنْهُ سِوَاكَ
wa-afrakha raw`uhu min kulli maḥdhūrin minhu siwāk
And his fear is clear of anything to be afraid of except You
24
فَمَثَّلَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْـكَ مُتَضَرِّعًا
famathhala bayna yadayka mutaḍarri`ā
So he stood before You, pleading
25
وَغَمَّضَ بَصَرَهُ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ مُتَخَشِّعًا
waghammaḍa baṣarahu ilal ar-ḍi mutakhashhi`ā
And lowered his eyes to the ground, humbly
26
وَطَأْطَأَ رَأْسَهُ لِعِزَّتِكَ مُتَذَلِّلًا
waṭa-ṭa-a ra-sahu li`izzatika mutadhallilā
And bowed his head before Your might, submissively
27
وَأَبَثَّكَ مِنْ سِرِّهِ مَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنْهُ خُضُوْعًا
wa-abathhaka min sirrihi mā anta a`lamu bihi minhu khuḍū`ā
And confessed to You his secrets which You know better than him, in humility
28
وَعَدَّدَ مِنْ ذُنُوْبِهِ مَا أَنْتَ أَحْصَى لَهَا خُشُوْعًا
wa`addada min dhunūbihi mā anta aḥṣā lahā khushū`ā
And counted his sins which You have counted better, in humbleness
29
وَاسْتَغَاثَ بِكَ مِنْ عَظِيْمِ مَاوَقَعَ بِهِ فِيْ عِلْمِكَ
wastaghātha bika min `aẓīmi māwaqa`a bihi fī `ilmik
And sought Your help from the great things that befell him in Your knowledge
30
وَقَبِيْحِ مَا فَضَحَهُ فِيْ حُكْمِكَ
waqabīḥi mā faḍaḥahu fī ḥukmik
And from the ugly things that disgraced him in Your judgment
31
مِنْ ذُنُوْبٍ أَدْبَرَتْ لَذَّاتُهَا فَذَهَبَتْ
min dhunūbin adbarat ladhhātuhā fadhahabat
From sins whose pleasures have departed and gone
32
وَأَقَامَتْ تَبِعَاتُهَا فَلَزِمَتْ
wa-aqāmat tabi`ātuhā falazimat
And whose consequences have remained and stuck
33
لَا يُنْكِرُ يَا إِلٰهِيْ عَدْلَكَ اِنْ عَاقَبْتَهُ
lā yunkiru yā ilāhī `adlaka in `āqabtah
He does not deny, O my God, Your justice if You punish him
34
وَلَا يَسْتَعْظِمُ عَفْوَكَ اِنْ عَفَوْتَ عَنْهُ وَرَحِمْتَهُ
walā yasta`ẓimu `afwaka in `afawta `anhu waraḥimtah
Nor does he consider Your pardon too great if You pardon him and have mercy on him
35
لِأَنَّكَ الرَّبُّ الْكَرِيْمُ
li-annakar rabbul karīm
For You are the Generous Lord
36
اَلَّذِيْ لَا يَتَعَاظَمُهُ غُفْرَانُ الذَّنْبِ الْعَظِيْمِ
al ladhī lā yata`āẓamuhu ghufrānudh dhanbil `aẓīm
He who is not too great to forgive great sins
37
أَللَّهُمَّ فَهَا أَنَا ذَا قَدْ جِئْتُكَ مُطِيْعًا
allāhumma fahā ana dhā qad ji-tuka muṭī`ā
O Allah, here I am, I have come to You obedient
38
لِأَمْرِكَ فِيْمَا أَمَرْتَ بِهِ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ
li-amrika fīmā amar-ta bihi minad du`ā
To Your command in what You have commanded of supplication
39
مُتَنَجِّزًا وَعْدَكَ فِيْمَا وَعَدْتَ بِهِ مِنَ الْإِجَابَةِ
mutanajjizan wa`daka fīmā wa`adta bihi minal ijābah
Seeking the fulfillment of Your promise in what You have promised of answering
40
إِذْ تَقُولُ اُدْعُوْنِيْ أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ
idh taqūlu ud`ūnī astajib lakum
For You have said: "Call upon Me, I will answer you"
41
أَللَّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
42
وَاَلْقَنِيْ بِمَغْفِـرَتِكَ كَمَا لَقِيْتُكَ بِإِقْرَارِي
wa-alqanī bimaghfiratika kamā laqītuka bi-iqrārī
And meet me with Your forgiveness as I have met You with my confession
43
وَارْفَعْنِيْ عَنْ مَصَارِعِ الذُّنُوْبِ كَمَا وَضَعْتُ لَكَ نَفْسِي
war-fa`nī `an maṣāri`idh dhunūbi kamā waḍa`tu laka nafsī
And raise me from the falls of sins as I have humbled myself before You
44
وَاسْتُرْنِيْ بِسِتْرِكَ كَمَا تَأَنَّيْتَنِيْ عَنِ الْأِنْتِقَامِ مِنِّي
wastur-nī bisitrika kamā ta-annaytanī `anil intiqāmi minnī
And cover me with Your covering as You have been patient with me by not taking vengeance on me
45
أَللَّهُمَّ وَثَبِّتْ فِيْ طَاعَتِكَ نِيَّتِي
allāhumma wathabbit fī ṭā`atika niyyatī
O Allah, strengthen my intention in Your obedience
46
وَأَحْكِمْ فِيْ عِبَادَتِكَ بَصِيْـرَتِي
wa-aḥkim fī `ibādatika baṣīratī
And perfect my insight in Your worship
47
وَوَفِّقْنِيْ مِنَ الْأَعْمَالِ
wawaffiqnī minal a`māl
And grant me success in performing deeds
48
لِمَا تَغْسِلُ بِهِ دَنَسَ الخَطَايَا عَنِّي
limā taghsilu bihi danasal khaṭāyā `annī
That will wash away the stain of sins from me
49
وَتَوَفَّنِيْ عَلَى مِلَّتِكَ وَمِلَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ
watawaffanī `alā millatika wamillati nabiyyik
And cause me to die in Your faith and the faith of Your Prophet
50
مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّـلاَمُ إِذَا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي
muḥammadin `alayhis salāmu idhā tawaffaytanī
Muhammad, peace be upon him, when You cause me to die
51
أَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَتُوْبُ إِلَيْـكَ فِيْ مَقَامِيْ هٰذَا
allāhumma innī atūbu ilayka fī maqāmī hādhā
O Allah, I repent to You in this position of mine
52
مِنْ كَبَائِرِ ذُنُوْبِيْ وَصَغَائِرِهَا
min kabā-iri dhunūbī waṣaghā-irihā
From my major sins and my minor ones
53
وَبَوَاطِنِ سَيِّئَآتِيْ وَظَوَاهِرِهَا
wabawāṭini sayyi-a-ātī waẓawāhirihā
From my hidden and my open evils
54
وَسَوَالِفِ زَلَّاتِيْ وَحَوَادِثِهَا
wasawālifi zallātī waḥawādithihā
From my past and my recent slips
55
تَوْبَةَ مَنْ لَا يُحَدِّثُ نَفْسَهُ بِمَعْصِيَةٍ
tawbata man lā yuḥaddithu nafsahu bima`ṣiyah
The repentance of one who does not tell himself to sin
56
وَلَا يُضْمِرُ أَنْ يَعُوْدَ فِيْ خَطِيْئَةٍ
walā yuḍmiru an ya`ūda fī khaṭī-ah
And does not intend to return to wrongdoing
57
وَقَدْ قُلْتَ يَا إِلٰهِيْ فِيْ مُحْكَمِ كِتَابِكَ
waqad qulta yā ilāhī fī muḥkami kitābik
And You have said, O my God, in Your precise Book
58
إِنَّكَ تَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِكَ
innaka taqbalut tawbata `an `ibādik
That You accept repentance from Your servants
59
وَتَعْفُوْ عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ، وَتُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِيْنَ
wata`fū `anis sayyi-āt, watuḥibbut tawwābīn
And pardon evil deeds, and love those who repent
60
فَاقْبَلْ تَوْبَتِيْ كَمَا وَعَدْتَ وَاعْفُ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِيْ كَمَا ضَمِنْتَ
faqbal tawbatī kamā wa`adta wa`fu `an sayyi-ātī kamā ḍamint
So accept my repentance as You have promised, and pardon my evil deeds as You have guaranteed
61
وَأَوْجِبْ لِيْ مَحَبَّتَكَ كَمَا شَـرَطْتَ
wa-awjib lī maḥabbataka kamā sharaṭt
And make obligatory for me Your love as You have stipulated
62
وَلَـكَ يَـا رَبِّ شَـرْطِيْ أَلَّا أَعُوْدَ فِيْ مَكْرُوْهِكَ
walaka yā rabbi shar-ṭī allā a`ūda fī makrūhik
And to You, O Lord, is my pledge that I will not return to what You dislike
63
وَضَمَانِيْ أَلَّا أَرْجِعَ فِيْ مَذْمُوْمِكَ
waḍamānī allā ar-ji`a fī madhmūmik
And my guarantee that I will not go back to what You condemn
64
وَعَهْدِيْ أَنْ أَهْجُرَ جَمِيْعَ مَعَاصِيْكَ
wa`ahdī an ahjura jamī`a ma`āṣīk
And my covenant that I will abandon all Your disobediences
65
أَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا عَمِلْتُ فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ مَا عَلِمْتَ
allāhumma innaka a`lamu bimā `amiltu faghfir lī mā `alimt
O Allah, You know better what I have done, so forgive me what You know
66
وَاصْرِفْنِيْ بِقُدْرَتِكَ إِلَى مَا أَحْبَبْتَ
waṣrifnī biqudratika ilā mā aḥbabt
And turn me by Your power toward what You love
67
أَللَّهُمَّ وَعَلَيَّ تَبِعَاتٌ قَدْ حَفِظْتُهُنَّ
allāhumma wa`alayya tabi`ātun qad ḥafiẓtuhunn
O Allah, I have responsibilities that I have remembered
68
وَتَبِعَاتٌ قَدْ نَسِيْتُهُنَّ
watabi`ātun qad nasītuhunn
And responsibilities that I have forgotten
69
وَكُلُّهُنَّ بِعَيْنِكَ الَّتِيْ لَا تَنَامُ
wakulluhunna bi`aynikal latī lā tanām
And all of them are under Your eye that never sleeps
70
وَعِلْمِكَ الَّذِيْ لَا يَنْسَى
wa`ilmikal ladhī lā yansā
And Your knowledge that never forgets
71
فَعَوِّضْ مِنْهَا أَهْلَهَا وَاحْطُطْ عَنِّيْ وِزْرَهَا
fa`awwiḍ minhā ahlahā waḥṭuṭ `annī wizrahā
So compensate their owners and remove their burden from me
72
وَخَفِّفْ عَنِّيْ ثِقْلَهَا، وَاعْصِمْنِيْ مِنْ أَنْ اُقَارِفَ مِثْلَهَا
wakhaffif `annī thiqlahā, wa`ṣimnī min an uqārifa mithlahā
And lighten their weight from me, and protect me from committing the like of them
73
أَللَّهُمَّ وَإِنَّهُ لَا وَفَاءَ لِيْ بِالتَّوْبَةِ إِلَّا بِعِصْمَتِكَ
allāhumma wa-innahu lā wafā-a lī bittawbati illā bi`iṣmatik
O Allah, I cannot be faithful to my repentance except by Your protection
74
وَلَا اسْتِمْسَاكَ بِيْ عَنِ الْخَطَايَا إِلَّا عَنْ قُوَّتِكَ
walastimsāka bī `anil khaṭāyā illā `an quwwatik
Nor can I refrain from sins except with Your strength
75
فَقَوِّنِيْ بِقُوَّةٍ كَافِيَةٍ، وَتَوَلَّنِيْ بِعِصْمَةٍ مَانِعَةٍ
faqawwinī biquwwatin kāfiyah, watawallanī bi`iṣmatin māni`ah
So strengthen me with sufficient strength, and attend to me with protective safeguarding
76
أَللَّهُمَّ أَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ تَابَ إِلَيْكَ
allāhumma ayyumā `abdin tāba ilayk
O Allah, any servant who repents to You
77
وَهُوَ فِيْ عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ فَاسِخٌ لِتَوْبَتِهِ
wahuwa fī `ilmil ghaybi `indaka fāsikhun litawbatih
While in Your knowledge of the unseen he would break his repentance
78
وَعَائِدٌ فِيْ ذَنْبِهِ وَخَطِيْئَتِهِ
wa`ā-idun fī dhanbihi wakhaṭī-atih
And return to his sin and error
79
فَإِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ اَنْ أَكُوْنَ كَذَالِكَ
fa-innī a`ūdhu bika an akūna kadhālik
I seek refuge in You from being like that
80
فَاجْعَلْ تَوْبَتِيْ هٰذِهِ تَوْبَةً لَا أَحْتَاجُ بَعْدَهَا إِلَى تَوْبَةٍ
faj`al tawbatī hādhihi tawbatan lā aḥtāju ba`dahā ilā tawbah
So make this repentance of mine a repentance after which I will need no repentance
81
تَوْبَةً مُوْجِبَةً لِمَحْوِ مَا سَلَفَ، وَالسَّلاَمَةِ فِيْمَـا بَقِيَ
tawbatan mūjibatan limaḥwi mā salaf, was salāmati fīmā baqiy
A repentance which obligates the erasing of what has passed and safety in what remains
82
أَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعْتَـذِرُ إِلَيْـكَ مِنْ جَهْلِي
allāhumma innī a`tadhiru ilayka min jahlī
O Allah, I apologize to You for my ignorance
83
وَأَسْتَـوْهِبُـكَ سُوْءَ فِعْلِي
wa-astawhibuka sū-a fi`lī
And I ask You to grant me, as a gift, [to be forgiven for] my evil deeds
84
فَاضْمُمْنِيْ إِلَى كَنَفِ رَحْمَتِكَ تَطَوُّلًا
faḍmumnī ilā kanafi raḥmatika taṭawwulā
So include me in the refuge of Your mercy by Your grace
85
وَاسْتُرْنِيْ بِسِتْرِ عَافِيَتِكَ تَفَضُّلًا
wastur-nī bisitri `āfiyatika tafaḍḍulā
And cover me with the covering of Your well-being by Your favor
86
أَللَّهُمَّ وَإِنِّيْ أَتُوْبُ إِلَيْكَ
allāhumma wa-innī atūbu ilayk
O Allah, I repent to You
87
مِنْ كُلِّ مَا خَالَفَ إِرَادَتَكَ
min kulli mā khālafa irādatak
From everything that contradicts Your will
88
أَوْ زَالَ عَنْ مَحَبَّتِـكَ
aw zāla `an maḥabbatik
Or deviates from Your love
89
مِنْ خَـطَرَاتِ قَلْبِي
min khaṭarāti qalbī
From the thoughts of my heart
90
وَلَحَـظَاتِ عَيْنِي
walaḥaẓāti `aynī
And the glances of my eye
91
وَحِكَايَاتِ لِسَانِي
waḥikāyāti lisānī
And the narratives of my tongue
92
تَوْبَةً تَسْلَمُ بِهَا كُلُّ جَارِحَةٍ عَلَى حِيَالِهَا مِنْ تَبِعَاتِكَ
tawbatan taslamu bihā kullu jāriḥatin `alā ḥiyālihā min tabi`ātik
A repentance through which each limb will be safe on its own from Your consequences
93
وَتَأْمَنُ مِمَّا يَخَافُ الْمُعْتَدُوْنَ مِنْ أَلِيْمِ سَطَوَاتِكَ
wata-manu mimmā yakhāful mu`tadūna min alīmi saṭawātik
And be secure from what the transgressors fear of Your painful punishments
94
أَللَّهُمَّ فَارْحَمْ وَحْدَتِيْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
allāhumma far-ḥam waḥdatī bayna yadayk
O Allah, have mercy on my loneliness before You
95
وَوَجِيْبَ قَلْبِيْ مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ
wawajība qalbī min khashyatik
And the pounding of my heart in fear of You
96
وَاضْطِرَابَ أَرْكَانِيْ مِنْ هَيْبَتِكَ
waḍṭirāba ar-kānī min haybatik
And the trembling of my limbs in awe of You
97
فَقَدْ أَقَامَتْنِيْ يَا رَبِّ ذُنُوْبِيْ مَقَامَ الْخِزْيِ بِفِنَائِكَ
faqad aqāmatnī yā rabbi dhunūbī maqāmal khizyi bifinā-ik
For my sins, O Lord, have made me stand in the position of disgrace in Your courtyard
98
فَإِنْ سَكَتُّ لَمْ يَنْطِقْ عَنِّيْ أَحَدٌ
fa-in sakattu lam yanṭiq `annī aḥad
If I remain silent, no one will speak for me
99
وَإِنْ شَفَعْتُ فَلَسْتُ بِأَهْلِ الشَّفَاعَةِ
wa-in shafa`tu falastu bi-ahlish shafā`ah
And if I seek to intercede, I am not worthy of intercession
100
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
101
وَشَفِّعْ فِيْ خَطَايَـايَ كَرَمَكَ
washaffi` fī khaṭāyaya karamak
And make Your generosity intercede for my mistakes
102
وَعُدْ عَلَى سَيِّئَاتِيْ بِعَفْوِكَ
wa`ud `alā sayyi-ātī bi`afwik
And return to my evil deeds with Your pardon
103
وَلَا تَجْزِنِيْ جَزَائِيْ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِكَ
walā tajzinī jazā-ī min `uqūbatik
And do not repay me with the punishment I deserve
104
وَابْسُطْ عَلَيَّ طَوْلَكَ وَجَلِّلْنِيْ بِسِتْرِكَ
wabsuṭ `alayya ṭawlaka wajallinī bisitrik
And spread over me Your grace and wrap me in Your covering
105
وَافْعَلْ بِيْ فِعْلَ عَزِيْزٍ تَضَرَّعَ إِلَيْهِ عَبْدٌ ذَلِيْلٌ فَرَحِمَهُ
waf`al bī fi`la `azīzin taḍarra`a ilayhi `abdun dhalīlun faraḥimah
And do with me what a mighty one does with a humble servant who pleads to him, and he has mercy on him
106
أَوْ غَنِيٍّ تَعَرَّضَ لَهُ عَبْدٌ فَقِيْرٌ فَنَعَشَهُ
aw ghaniyyin ta`arraḍa lahu `abdun faqīrun fana`ashah
Or like a rich one to whom a poor servant presents himself, and he raises him
107
أَللَّهُمَّ لَا خَفِيْرَ لِيْ مِنْكَ فَلْيَخْفُرْنِيْ عِزُّكَ
allāhumma lā khafīra lī minka falyakhfur-nī `izzuk
O Allah, I have no protector against You, so let Your might protect me
108
وَلَا شَفِيْعَ لِيْ إِلَيْكَ فَلْيَشْفَعْ لِيْ فَضْلُكَ
walā shafī`a lī ilayka falyashfa` lī faḍluk
And I have no intercessor with You, so let Your grace intercede for me
109
وَقَدْ أَوْجَلَتْنِيْ خَطَايَايَ فَلْيُؤْمِنِّيْ عَفْوُكَ
waqad awjalatnī khaṭāyāya falyu-minnī `afwuk
And my sins have made me fearful, so let Your forgiveness give me security
110
فَمَا كُلُّ مَا نَطَقْتُ بِهِ عَنْ جَهْلٍ مِنِّيْ بِسُوْءِ أَثَرِي
famā kullu mā naṭaqtu bihi `an jahlin minnī bisū-i atharī
For not all that I have spoken stems from my ignorance of the evil of my deeds
111
وَلَا نِسيَانٍ لِمَا سَبَقَ مِنْ ذَمِيْمِ فِعْلِي
walā nisyānin limā sabaqa min dhamīmi fi`lī
Nor from forgetfulness of my previous bad actions
112
لٰكِنْ لِتَسْمَعَ سَمَاؤُكَ وَمَنْ فِيْهَـا
lākin litasma`a sama-uka waman fīha
But so that Your heaven and all within it may hear
113
وَأَرْضُكَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا مَا أَظْهَرْتُ لَكَ مِنَ النَّدَمِ
wa-ar-ḍuka waman `alayhā mā aẓhar-tu laka minan nadam
And Your earth and all upon it, what I have displayed to You of remorse
114
وَلَجَـأْتُ إِلَيْكَ فِيْـهِ مِنَ التَّوْبَـةِ
walaja-tu ilayka fīhi minat tawbah
And sought refuge in You through repentance
115
فَلَعَـلَّ بَعْضَهُمْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَرْحَمُنِيْ لِسُوْءِ مَوْقِفِي
fala`alla ba`ḍahum biraḥmatika yar-ḥamunī lisū-i mawqifī
Perhaps some of them, by Your mercy, will have mercy on my evil position
116
أَوْ تُدْرِكُهُ الرِّقَّةُ عَلَيَّ لِسُوْءِ حَالِي
aw tudrikuhur riqqatu `alayya lisū-i ḥālī
Or be affected by compassion for my bad state
117
فَيَنَالَنِيْ مِنْهُ بِدَعْوَةٍ أَسْمَعُ لَدَيْكَ مِنْ دُعَائِي
fayanālanī minhu bida`watin asma`u ladayka min du`ā-ī
So that I may receive from him a supplication more acceptable to You than my supplication
118
أَوْ شَفَاعَـةٍ أَوْكَدُ عِنْدَكَ مِنْ شَفَاعَتِي
aw shafā`atin awkadu `indaka min shafā`atī
Or an intercession more confirmed with You than my intercession
119
تَكُونُ بِهَا نَجَاتِيْ مِنْ غَضَبِكَ وَفَوْزَتِيْ بِرِضَاكَ
takūnu bihā najātī min ghaḍabika wafawzatī biriḍāk
By which I may attain salvation from Your anger and victory with Your pleasure
120
أَللَّهُمَّ اِنْ يَكُنِ النَّدَمُ تَوْبَةً إِلَيْكَ فَأَنَا أَنْدَمُ النَّادِمِيْنَ
allāhumma in yakunin nadamu tawbatan ilayka fa-ana andamun nādimīn
O Allah, if remorse is repentance to You, then I am the most remorseful of the remorseful
121
وَإِنْ يَكُنِ التَّرْكُ لِمَعْصِيَتِكَ إٍنَابَةً فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُنِيْبِيْنَ
wa-in yakunit tar-ku lima`ṣiyatika innābatan fa-ana awwalul munībīn
And if abandoning disobedience is turning to You, then I am the first of those who turn to You
122
وَإِنْ يَكُنِ الْأِسْتِغْفَارُ حِطَّةً لِلْذُّنُوْبِ فَإِنِّيْ لَكَ مِنَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرِيْنَ
wa-in yakunil istighfāru ḥiṭṭatan lidhhunūbi fa-innī laka minal mustaghfirīn
And if seeking forgiveness removes sins, then I am among those who seek Your forgiveness
123
اَللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا أَمَرْتَ بِالتَّوْبَةِ وَضَمِنْتَ الْقَبُولَ
allāhumma fakamā amar-ta bittawbati waḍamintal qabūl
O Allah, as You have commanded repentance and guaranteed acceptance
124
وَحَثَثْتَ عَلَى الدُّعَـاءِ وَوَعَدْتَ الْإِجَابَةَ
waḥathathta `alad du`a-i wawa`adtal ijābah
And encouraged supplication and promised to answer
125
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَاقْبَلْ تَوْبَتِي
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi waqbal tawbatī
So send blessings upon Muhammad and his family, and accept my repentance
126
وَلَا تَرْجِعْنِيْ مَرْجَعَ الخَيْبَةِ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ
walā tar-ji`nī mar-ja`al khaybati min raḥmatik
And do not return me with disappointment from Your mercy
127
إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ عَلَى الْمُذْنِبِيْنَ
innaka antat tawwābu `alal mudhnibīn
For You are the One who accepts repentance from sinners
128
وَالرَّحِيْمُ لِلْخَاطِئِيْنَ الْمُنِيْبِيْنَ
war raḥīmu lilkhāṭi-īnal munībīn
And the Merciful to those who err and turn in repentance
129
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ كَمَا هَدَيْتَنَا بِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi kamā hadaytanā bih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family as You have guided us through him
130
وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ كَمَا اسْتَنْقَذْتَنَا بِهِ
waṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi kamastanqadhtanā bih
And send blessings upon Muhammad and his family as You have saved us through him

وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
waṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
And send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
132
صَلاَةً تَشْفَعُ لَنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَوْمَ الْفَاقَةِ إِلَيْكَ
ṣalātan tashfa`u lanā yawmal qiyāmati wayawmal fāqati ilayk
Blessings that will intercede for us on the Day of Resurrection and the Day of Need toward You
133
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَيْكَ يَسِيْرٌ
innaka `alā kulli shay-in qadīrun wahuwa `alayka yasīr
Surely You have power over all things, and that is easy for You
