بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
2
وَهَبْ لِيَ الْعَافِيَةَ مِنْ دَيْنٍ تُخْلِقُ بِهِ وَجْهِي
wahab liyal `āfiyata min daynin tukhliqu bihi wajhī
And grant me well-being from a debt that tarnishes my reputation
3
وَيَحَارُ فِيْهِ ذِهْنِي، وَيَتَشَعَّبُ لَهُ فِكْرِي
wayaḥāru fīhi dhihnī, wayatasha``abu lahu fikrī
And confuses my mind, and scatters my thoughts
4
وَيَطُولُ بِمُمَارَسَتِهِ شُغْلِي
wayaṭūlu bimumārasatihi shughlī
And extends my preoccupation in managing it
5
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ يَا رَبِّ مِنْ هَمِّ الدَّيْنِ وَفِكْرِهِ
wa-a`ūdhu bika yā rabbi min hammid dayni wafikrih
And I seek refuge with You, O Lord, from the anxiety of debt and its worry
6
وَشُغْلِ الدَّيْنِ وَسَهَرِهِ
washughlid dayni wasaharih
And the distraction of debt and its sleeplessness
7
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَأَعِذْنِيْ مِنْهُ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi wa-a`idhnī minh
So send blessings upon Muhammad and his family and protect me from it
8
وَأَسْتَجِيرُ بِكَ يَا رَبِّ مِنْ ذِلَّتِهِ فِيْ الْحَيَاةِ
wa-astajīru bika yā rabbi min dhillatihi fil ḥayāh
And I seek Your protection, O Lord, from its humiliation in life
9
وَمِنْ تَبِعَتِهِ بَعْدَ الْوَفَاةِ
wamin tabi`atihi ba`dal wafāh
And from its consequences after death
10
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَأَجِرْنِيْ مِنْهُ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi wa-ajir-nī minh
So send blessings upon Muhammad and his family and save me from it
11
بِوُسْعٍ فَاضِلٍ أَوْ كَفَافٍ وَاصِلٍ
biwus`in fāḍilin aw kafāfin wāṣil
With abundant prosperity or sufficient sustenance
12
أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
13
وَاحْجُبْنِيْ عَنِ السَّرَفِ وَالْإِزْدِيَادِ
waḥjubnī `anis sarafi wal-izdiyād
And protect me from extravagance and excess
14
وَقَوِّمْنِيْ بِالْبَذْلِ وَالْإِقْتِصَادِ
waqawwimnī bil badhli wal-iqtiṣād
And guide me to generosity and moderation
15
وَعَلِّمْنِيْ حُسْنَ التَّقْدِيرِ
wa`allimnī ḥusnat taqdīr
And teach me good planning
16
وَاقْبِضْنِيْ بِلُطْفِكَ عَنِ التَّبْذِيرِ
waqbiḍnī biluṭfika `anit tabdhīr
And hold me back with Your kindness from wastefulness
17
وَأَجْرِ مِنْ أَسْبَابِ الْحَلالِ أَرْزَاقِي
wa-ajri min asbābil ḥalāli ar-zāqī
And make my sustenance flow from lawful means
18
وَوَجِّهْ فِيْ أَبْوَابِ الْبِرِّ إِنْفَاقِي
wawajjih fī abwābil birri infāqī
And direct my spending toward righteous causes
19
وَازْوِ عَنِّيْ مِنَ الْمَالِ مَا يُحْدِثُ لِيْ مَخِيلَةً
wazwi `annī minal māli mā yuḥdithu lī makhīlah
And keep away from me wealth that would cause me arrogance
20
أَوْ تَأَدِّيًا إِلَى بَغْيٍ، أَوْ مَا أَتَعَقَّبُ مِنْهُ طُغْيَانًا
aw ta-addiyan ilā baghy, aw mā ata`aqqabu minhu ṭughyānā
Or lead to transgression, or result in tyranny
21
اَللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيَّ صُحْبَةَ الْفُقَرَاءِ
allāhumma ḥabbib ilayya ṣuḥbatal fuqarā
O Allah, make me love the company of the poor
22
وَأَعِنِّيْ عَلَى صُحْبَتِهِمْ بِحُسْنِ الصَّبْرِ
wa-a`innī `alā ṣuḥbatihim biḥusniṣ ṣabr
And help me to be in their company with good patience
23
وَمَا زَوَيْتَ عَنِّيْ مِنْ مَتَاعِ الدُّنْيَا الْفَانِيَةِ
wamā zawayta `annī min matā`id dunyal fāniyah
And whatever You have kept away from me of the passing enjoyments of this world
24
فَاذْخَرْهُ لِيْ فِيْ خَزَائِنِكَ الْبَاقِيَةِ
fadhkhar-hu lī fī khazā-inikal bāqiyah
Store it for me in Your everlasting treasuries
25
وَاجْعَلْ مَا خَوَّلْتَنِيْ مِنْ حُطَامِهَا
waj`al mā khawwaltanī min ḥuṭāmihā
And make what You have granted me of its debris
26
وَعَجَّلْتَ لِيْ مِنْ مَتَاعِهَا بُلْغَةً إِلَى جِوَارِكَ
wa`ajjalta lī min matā`ihā bulghatan ilā jiwārik
And hastened for me of its pleasures a means to reach Your proximity
27
وَوُصْلَةً إِلَى قُرْبِكَ، وَذَرِيْعَةً إِلَى جَنَّتِكَ
wawuṣlatan ilā qur-bik, wadharī`atan ilā jannatik
And a connection to Your nearness, and a path to Your Paradise
28
إِنَّكَ ذُوْ الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
innaka dhul faḍlil `aẓīm
Verily, You are the Possessor of Great Bounty
29
وَأَنْتَ الْجَوَادُ الْكَرِيمُ
wa-antal jawādul karīm
And You are the Generous, the Noble
