1
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā abā `abdillāh
Peace be upon you, O Abu Abdullah
2
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yabna rasūlillāh
Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah
3
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خِيَرَةَ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ خِيَرَتِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā khiyaratallāhi wabna khiyaratih
Peace be upon you, O chosen one of Allah and son of His chosen one
4
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful
5
وَابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّينَ
wabna sayyidil waṣiyyīn
And son of the leader of the successors
6
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ فَاطِمَةَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna fāṭimah
Peace be upon you, O son of Fatima
7
سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
sayyidati nisā-il `ālamīn
The leader of the women of the worlds
8
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ثَارَ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ ثَارِهِ وَالْوِتْرَ الْمَوْتُورَ
as salāmu `alayka yā thārallāhi wabna thārihi walwitral mawtūr
Peace be upon you, O the one whose blood Allah seeks and son of the one whose blood Allah seeks, the one who was wronged
9
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى الْأَرْوَاحِ الَّتِيْ حَلَّتْ بِفِنَائِكَ
as salāmu `alayka wa`alal ar-wāḥil latī ḥallat bifinā-ik
Peace be upon you and upon the souls that gathered in your courtyard
10
عَلَيْكُمْ مِنِّيْ جَمِيعًا سَلامُ اللَّهِ أَبَدًا
`alaykum minnī jamī`an salāmullāhi abadā
Upon all of you from me be the peace of Allah forever
11
مَا بَقِيتُ وَبَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ
mā baqītu wabaqiyal laylu wan nahār
As long as I live and as long as night and day remain
12
يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
yā abā `abdillāh
O Abu Abdullah
13
لَقَدْ عَظُمَتِ الرَّزِيَّةُ
laqad `aẓumatir raziyyah
Indeed the tragedy is great
14
وَجَلَّتْ وَعَظُمَتِ الْمُصِيبَةُ بِكَ
wajallat wa`aẓumatil muṣībatu bik
And the calamity that befell you is enormous
15
عَلَيْنَا وَعَلٰى جَمِيْعِ أَهْلِ الْإِسْلاَمِ
`alaynā wa`alā jamī`i ahlil islām
Upon us and upon all the people of Islam
16
وَجَلَّتْ وَعَظُمَتْ مُصِيبَتُكَ
wajallat wa`aẓumat muṣībatuk
And great and enormous is your tragedy
17
فِيْ السَّمَاوَاتِ عَلٰى جَمِيْعِ أَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ
fis samāwāti `alā jamī`i ahlis samāwāt
In the heavens upon all the dwellers of the heavens
18
فَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً أَسَّسَتْ أَسَاسَ الظُّلْمِ وَالْجَوْرِ عَلَيْكُمْ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ
fala`anallāhu ummatan assasat asāsaẓ ẓulmi waljawri `alaykum ahlal bayt
May Allah curse the nation that established the foundations of oppression and tyranny against you, the People of the Household
19
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً دَفَعَتْكُمْ عَنْ مَقَامِكُمْ
wala`anallāhu ummatan dafa`atkum `an maqāmikum
And may Allah curse the nation that removed you from your position
20
وَأَزَالَتْكُمْ عَنْ مَرَاتِبِكُمُ الَّتِيْ رَتَّبَكُمُ اللَّهُ فِيهَا
wa-azālatkum `an marātibikumul latī rattabakumullāhu fīhā
And displaced you from your ranks which Allah had assigned you
21
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكُمْ
wala`anallāhu ummatan qatalatkum
And may Allah curse the nation that killed you
22
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْمُمَهِّدِيْنَ لَهُمْ
wala`anallāhul mumahhidīna lahum
And may Allah curse those who paved the way for them
23
بِالتَّمْكِينِ مِنْ قِتَالِكُمْ
bittamkīni min qitālikum
By enabling them to fight against you
24
بَرِئْتُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْهُمْ
bari-tu ilallāhi wa ilaykum minhum
I disassociate myself before Allah and before you from them
25
وَمِنْ أَشْيَاعِهِمْ وَأَتْبَاعِهِمْ وَأَوْلِيَائِهِمْ
wamin ashyā`ihim wa-atbā`ihim wa-awliyā-ihim
And from their supporters, followers, and allies
26
يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
yā abā `abdillāh
O Abu Abdullah
27
إِنِّيْ سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمَكُمْ
innī silmun liman sālamakum
I am at peace with those who are at peace with you
28
وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ إِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
waḥar-bun liman ḥārabakum ilā yawmil qiyāmah
And at war with those who are at war with you until the Day of Judgment
29
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ آلَ زِيَادٍ وَ آلَ مَرْوَانَ
wala`anallāhu-āla ziyādin wa āla mar-wān
May Allah curse the family of Ziyad and the family of Marwan
30
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ بَنِيْ أُمَيَّةَ قَاطِبَةً
wala`anallāhu banī umayyata qāṭibah
And may Allah curse the entire Umayyad clan
31
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ ابْنَ مَرْجَانَةَ
wala`anallāhubna mar-jānah
And may Allah curse Ibn Marjana
32
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ عُمَرَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ
wala`anallāhu `umarabna sa`d
And may Allah curse Umar ibn Sa'd
33
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ شِمْرًا
wala`anallāhu shimrā
And may Allah curse Shimr
34
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً أَسْرَجَتْ وَأَلْجَمَتْ
wala`anallāhu ummatan asrajat wa-aljamat
And may Allah curse the people who saddled and bridled their horses
35
وَتَنَقَّبَتْ لِقِتَالِكَ
watanaqqabat liqitālik
And prepared themselves to fight against you
36
بِأَبِيْ أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي
bi-abī anta wa-ummī
May my father and mother be sacrificed for you
37
لَقَدْ عَظُمَ مُصَابِيْ بِكَ
laqad `aẓuma muṣābī bik
Great is my grief for you
38
فَأَسْأَلُ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ أَكْرَمَ مَقَامَكَ وَأَكْرَمَنِيْ بِكَ
fa-as-alullāhal ladhī akrama maqāmaka wa-akramanī bik
So I ask Allah who honored your position and honored me through you
39
أَنْ يَرْزُقَنِيْ طَلَبَ ثَارِكَ
an yar-zuqanī ṭalaba thārik
To grant me the opportunity to seek vengeance for you
40
مَعَ إِمَامٍ مَنْصُورٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ
ma`a imāmin manṣūrin min ahli bayti muḥammad
With a victorious Imam from the family of Muhammad
41
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
Peace be upon him and his family
42
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِيْ عِنْدَكَ وَجِيهًا
allāhummaj`alnī `indaka wajīhā
O Allah, make me honored before You
43
بِالْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلٰامُ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
bil ḥusayni `alayhis salāmu fid dunyā wal-ākhirah
Through Husayn, peace be upon him, in this world and the hereafter
44
يَا أَبَاعَبْدِاللَّهِ
yā abā`abdillāh
O Abu Abdullah
45
إِنِّيْ أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَ إِلٰى رَسُولِهِ
innī ataqarrabu ilallāhi wa ilā rasūlih
I seek closeness to Allah and to His Messenger
46
وَ إِلٰى أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ إِلٰى فَاطِمَةَ
wa ilā amīril mu-minīna wa ilā fāṭimah
And to the Commander of the Faithful and to Fatima
47
وَ إِلَى الْحَسَنِ وَ إِلَيْكَ بِمُوَالَاتِكَ
wa ilal ḥasani wa ilayka bimuwālātik
And to Hasan and to you through my loyalty to you
48
وَبِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِمَّنْ قَاتَلَكَ
wabil barā-ati mimman qātalak
And through disassociation from those who fought against you
49
وَنَصَبَ لَكَ الْحَرْبَ
wanaṣaba lakal ḥar-b
And waged war against you
50
وَبِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِمَّنْ أَسَّسَ أَسَاسَ الظُّلْمِ وَالْجَوْرِ عَلَيْكُمْ
wabil barā-ati mimman assasa asāsaẓ ẓulmi waljawri `alaykum
And through disassociation from those who established the foundations of oppression and tyranny against you
51
وَأَبْرَأُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَإِلٰى رَسُولِهِ
wa-abra-u ilallāhi wa-ilā rasūlih
And I disassociate myself before Allah and His Messenger
52
مِمَّنْ أَسَّسَ أَسَاسَ ذٰلِكَ
mimman assasa asāsa dhālik
From whoever laid those foundations
53
وَبَنىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُنْيَانَهُ
wabanā `alayhi bunyānah
And built upon them their structure
54
وَجَرٰى فِيْ ظُلْمِهِ وَجَوْرِهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَلٰى أَشْيَاعِكُمْ
wajarā fī ẓulmihi wajawrihi `alaykum wa`alā ashyā`ikum
And carried out their oppression and tyranny against you and your followers
55
بَرِئْتُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْهُمْ
bari-tu ilallāhi wa ilaykum minhum
I disassociate myself before Allah and before you from them
56
وَأَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ إِلَيْكُمْ
wa-ataqarrabu ilallāhi thumma ilaykum
And I seek closeness to Allah and then to you
57
بِمُوَالَاتِكُمْ وَمُوَالَاةِ وَلِيِّكُمْ
bimuwālātikum wamuwālāti waliyyikum
Through my loyalty to you and loyalty to your friends
58
وَبِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكُمْ
wabil barā-ati min a`dā-ikum
And through disassociation from your enemies
59
وَالنَّاصِبِينَ لَكُمُ الْحَرْبَ
wan nāṣibīna lakumul ḥar-b
And those who waged war against you
60
وَبِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ أَشْيَاعِهِمْ وَأَتْبَاعِهِمْ
wabil barā-ati min ashyā`ihim wa-atbā`ihim
And through disassociation from their supporters and followers
61
إِنِّيْ سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمَكُمْ
innī silmun liman sālamakum
I am at peace with those who are at peace with you
62
وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ
waḥar-bun liman ḥārabakum
And at war with those who are at war with you
63
وَوَلِيٌّ لِمَنْ وَالَاكُمْ
wawaliyyun liman wālākum
And a friend to those who befriend you
64
وَعَدُوٌّ لِمَنْ عَادَاكُمْ
wa`aduwwun liman `ādākum
And an enemy to those who are your enemies
65
فَأَسْأَلُ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ أَكْرَمَنِيْ بِمَعْرِفَتِكُمْ
fa-as-alullāhal ladhī akramanī bima`rifatikum
So I ask Allah who honored me with your recognition
66
وَمَعْرِفَةِ أَوْلِيَائِكُمْ
wama`rifati awliyā-ikum
And recognition of your friends
67
وَرَزَقَنِيْ الْبَرَاءَةَ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكُمْ
warazaqanil barā-ata min a`dā-ikum
And granted me disassociation from your enemies
68
أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِيْ مَعَكُمْ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
an yaj`alanī ma`akum fid dunyā wal-ākhirah
To place me with you in this world and the hereafter
69
وَأَنْ يُثَبِّتَ لِيْ عِنْدَكُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ
wa-an yuthabbita lī `indakum qadama ṣidq
And to establish for me a position of truth with you
70
فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
fid dunyā wal-ākhirah
In this world and the hereafter
71
وَأَسْأَلُهُ أَنْ يُبَلِّغَنِيْ الْمَقَامَ الْمَحْمُودَ لَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ
wa-as-aluhu an yuballighanil maqāmal maḥmūda lakum `indallāh
And I ask Him to make me reach the praiseworthy station that you have with Allah
72
وَأَنْ يَرْزُقَنِيْ طَلَبَ ثَارِي
wa-an yar-zuqanī ṭalaba thārī
And to grant me the opportunity to seek my vengeance
73
مَعَ إِمَامٍ هُدًى ظَاهِرٍ
ma`a imāmin hudan ẓāhir
With a rightly guided Imam who will appear
74
نَاطِقٍ بِالْحَقِّ مِنْكُمْ
nāṭiqin bil ḥaqqi minkum
Speaking the truth from among you
75
وَأَسْأَلُ اللّٰهَ بِحَقِّكُمْ
wa-as-alullāha biḥaqqikum
And I ask Allah by your right
76
وَبِالشَّأْنِ الَّذِيْ لَكُمْ عِنْدَهُ
wabishha-nil ladhī lakum `indah
And by the status that you have with Him
77
أَنْ يُعْطِيَنِيْ بِمُصَابِيْ بِكُمْ
an yu`ṭiyanī bimuṣābī bikum
To grant me, for my grief over you
78
أَفْضَلَ مَا يُعْطِيْ مُصَابًا بِمُصِيبَتِهِ
afḍala mā yu`ṭī muṣāban bimuṣībatih
The best of what He grants to one afflicted by his calamity
79
مُصِيبَةً مَا أَعْظَمَهَا
muṣībatan mā a`ẓamahā
A calamity how great it is
80
وَأَعْظَمَ رَزِيَّتَهَا فِيْ الْإِسْلاَمِ
wa-a`ẓama raziyyatahā fil islām
And how great is its tragedy in Islam
81
وَفِيْ جَمِيْعِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
wafī jamī`is samāwāti wal-ar-ḍ
And in all the heavens and the earth
82
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِيْ فِيْ مَقَامِيْ هٰذَا
allāhummaj`alnī fī maqāmī hādhā
O Allah, make me in this position of mine
83
مِمَّنْ تَنَالُهُ مِنْكَ صَلَوَاتٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ
mimman tanāluhu minka ṣalawātun waraḥmatun wamaghfirah
Among those who receive from You blessings, mercy, and forgiveness
84
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مَحْيَايَ مَحْيَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhummaj`al maḥyāya maḥyā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, make my life the life of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
85
وَمَمَاتِيْ مَمَاتَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
wamamātī mamāta muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
And my death the death of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
86
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّ هٰذَا يَوْمٌ
allāhumma inna hādhā yawm
O Allah, this is a day
87
تَبَرَّكَتْ بِهِ بَنُوْ أُمَيَّةَ
tabarrakat bihi banū umayyah
On which the Umayyads rejoiced
88
وَابْنُ آكِلَةِ الْأَكْبَادِ
wabnu-ākilatil akbād
And the son of the liver-eater
89
اَللَّعِينُ ابْنُ اللَّعِينِ
al la`īnubnul la`īn
The cursed, son of the cursed
90
عَلٰى لِسَانِكَ وَ لِسَانِ نَبِيِّكَ
`alā lisānika wa lisāni nabiyyik
By Your tongue and the tongue of Your Prophet
91
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
Peace be upon him and his family
92
فِيْ كُلِّ مَوْطِنٍ وَ مَوْقِفٍ
fī kulli mawṭinin wa mawqif
In every place and position
93
وَقَفَ فِيهِ نَبِيُّكَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
waqafa fīhi nabiyyuka ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
Where Your Prophet stood, peace be upon him and his family
94
اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْ أَبَاسُفْيَانَ وَمُعَاوِيَةَ وَيَزِيدَ بْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ
allāhummal `an abāsufyāna wamu`āwiyata wayazīdabna mu`āwiyah
O Allah, curse Abu Sufyan, Muawiya, and Yazid son of Muawiya
95
عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْكَ اللَّعْنَةُ أَبَدَ الْآبِدِيْنَ
`alayhim minkal la`natu abadal-ābidīn
Upon them be Your curse for all eternity
96
وَهٰذَا يَوْمٌ فَرِحَتْ بِهِ آلُ زِيَادٍ وَ آلُ مَرْوَانَ
wahādhā yawmun fariḥat bihi-ālu ziyādin wa ālu mar-wān
And this is a day on which the family of Ziyad and the family of Marwan rejoiced
97
بِقَتْلِهِمُ الْحُسَيْنَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ
biqatlihimul ḥusayna ṣalawātullāhi `alayh
At their killing of Husayn, peace of Allah be upon him
98
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَضَاعِفْ عَلَيْهِمُ اللَّعْنَ مِنْكَ
allāhumma faḍā`if `alayhimul la`na mink
O Allah, multiply upon them Your curse
99
وَالْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ
wal`adhābal alīm
And painful punishment
100
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ فِيْ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ
allāhumma innī ataqarrabu ilayka fī hādhal yawm
O Allah, I seek closeness to You on this day
101
وَفِيْ مَوْقِفِيْ هٰذَا
wafī mawqifī hādhā
And in this position of mine
102
وَأَيَّامِ حَيَاتِي
wa-ayyāmi ḥayātī
And throughout the days of my life
103
بِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْهُمْ وَاللَّعْنَةِ عَلَيْهِمْ
bil barā-ati minhum wal la`nati `alayhim
Through disassociation from them and cursing them
104
وَبِالْمُوَالَاةِ لِنَبِيِّكَ وَ آلِ نَبِيِّكَ
wabil muwālāti linabiyyika wa āli nabiyyik
And through loyalty to Your Prophet and the family of Your Prophet
105
عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلامُ
`alayhi wa `alayhimus salām
Peace be upon him and them
Recite the following 100 times:
106
اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْ أَوَّلَ ظَالِمٍ
allāhummal `an awwala ẓālim
O Allah, curse the first oppressor
107
ظَلَمَ حَقَّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
ẓalama ḥaqqa muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
Who wronged the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
108
وَ آخِرَ تَابِعٍ لَهُ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ
wa ākhira tābi`in lahu `alā dhālik
And the last who followed him in that
109
اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنِ الْعِصَابَةَ الَّتِيْ جَاهَدَتِ الْحُسَيْنَ
allāhummal `anil `iṣābatal latī jāhadatil ḥusayn
O Allah, curse the group that fought against Husayn
110
وَشَايَعَتْ وَبَايَعَتْ وَتَابَعَتْ عَلٰى قَتْلِهِ
washāya`at wabāya`at watāba`at `alā qatlih
And who supported, pledged allegiance, and followed his killing
111
اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمْ جَمِيعًا
allāhummal `anhum jamī`ā
O Allah, curse them all
Recite the following 100 times:
112
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā abā `abdillāh
Peace be upon you, O Abu Abdullah
113
وَعَلَى الْأَرْوَاحِ الَّتِيْ حَلَّتْ بِفِنَائِكَ
wa`alal ar-wāḥil latī ḥallat bifinā-ik
And upon the souls that gathered in your courtyard
114
عَلَيْكَ مِنِّيْ سَلامُ اللَّهِ أَبَدًا
`alayka minnī salāmullāhi abadā
Upon you from me be the peace of Allah forever
115
مَا بَقِيتُ وَبَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ
mā baqītu wabaqiyal laylu wan nahār
As long as I live and as long as night and day remain
116
وَلَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّيْ لِزِيَارَتِكُمْ
walā ja`alahullāhu-ākhiral `ahdi minnī liziyāratikum
And may Allah not make this my last visit to you
117
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ
as salāmu `alal ḥusayn
Peace be upon Husayn
118
وَعَلٰى عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ
wa`alā `aliyyibnil ḥusayn
And upon Ali son of Husayn
119
وَعَلٰى أَوْلاَدِ الْحُسَيْنِ
wa`alā awlādil ḥusayn
And upon the children of Husayn
120
وَعَلٰى أَصْحَابِ الْحُسَيْنِ
wa`alā aṣ-ḥābil ḥusayn
And upon the companions of Husayn
121
اَللّٰهُمَّ خُصَّ أَنْتَ أَوَّلَ ظَالِمٍ بِاللَّعْنِ مِنِّي
allāhumma khuṣṣa anta awwala ẓālimin billla`ni minnī
O Allah, single out the first oppressor with curse from me
122
وَابْدَأْ بِهِ أَوَّلًا
wabda-bihi awwalā
And begin with him first
123
ثُمَّ الْعَنِ الثَّانِيَ وَالثَّالِثَ وَالرَّابِعَ
thummal `anith thāniya wath thālitha war rābi`
Then curse the second, the third, and the fourth
124
اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْ يَزِيدَ خَامِسًا
allāhummal `an yazīda khāmisā
O Allah, curse Yazid fifth
125
وَالْعَنْ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زِيَادٍ وَابْنَ مَرْجَانَةَ
wal`an `ubaydallāhibna ziyādin wabna mar-jānah
And curse Ubaidullah ibn Ziyad and Ibn Marjana
126
وَعُمَرَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ وَشِمْرًا
wa`umarabna sa`din washimrā
And Umar ibn Sa'd and Shimr
127
وَ آلَ أَبِيْ سُفْيَانَ وَ آلَ زِيَادٍ وَ آلَ مَرْوَانَ
wa āla abī sufyāna wa āla ziyādin wa āla mar-wān
And the family of Abu Sufyan, the family of Ziyad, and the family of Marwan
128
إِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
ilā yawmil qiyāmah
Until the Day of Judgment
Then go into Sajda and say:
129
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ
allāhumma lakal ḥamd
O Allah, to You belongs all praise
130
حَمْدَ الشَّاكِرِينَ لَكَ عَلٰى مُصَابِهِمْ
ḥamdash shākirīna laka `alā muṣābihim
The praise of those who thank You for their afflictions
131
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ عَلٰى عَظِيمِ رَزِيَّتِي
al ḥamdu lillāhi `alā `aẓīmi raziyyatī
Praise be to Allah for my great tragedy
132
اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِيْ شَفَاعَةَ الْحُسَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْوُرُوْدِ
allāhummar-zuqnī shafā`atal ḥusayni yawmal wurūd
O Allah, grant me the intercession of Husayn on the Day of Arrival
133
وَثَبِّتْ لِيْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَكَ
wathabbit lī qadama ṣidqin `indak
And establish for me a position of truth with You
134
مَعَ الْحُسَيْنِ وَأَصْحَابِ الْحُسَيْنِ
ma`al ḥusayni wa-aṣ-ḥābil ḥusayn
With Husayn and the companions of Husayn
135
اَلَّذِيْنَ بَذَلُوْا مُهَجَهُمْ دُوْنَ الحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام
al ladhīna badhalū muhajahum dūnal ḥusayni `alayhis salām
Who sacrificed their lives for Husayn, peace be upon him
