بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

أَللَّهُمَّ صَـلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِـهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family
2
وَتَوَلَّنِيْ فِيْ جِيرَانِيْ وَمَوَالِيَّ الْعَارِفِينَ بِحَقِّنَا وَالْمُنَابِذِيْنَ لِأَعْدَائِنَا بِأَفْضَلِ وَلَايَتِكَ
watawallanī fī jīrānī wamawāliyyal `ārifīna biḥaqqinā walmunābidhīna li-a`dā-inā bi-afḍali walāyatik
And take me as guardian in the matter of my neighbors and my friends who recognize our rights and abandon our enemies with Your best guardianship
3
وَوَفِّقْهُمْ لِإِقَامَةِ سُنَّتِكَ
wawaffiqhum li-iqāmati sunnatik
And give them success in establishing Your traditions
4
وَالْأَخْذِ بِمَحَاسِنِ أَدَبِكَ فِيْ إِرْفَاقِ ضَعِيفِهِمْ
wal-akhdhi bimaḥāsini adabika fī ir-fāqi ḍa`īfihim
And in adopting the most beautiful of Your manners in being kind to their weak ones
5
وَسَدِّ خَلَّتِهِمْ، وَعِيَادَةِ مَرِيضِهِمْ
wasaddi khallatihim, wa`iyādati marīḍihim
And filling their gaps, and visiting their sick
6
وَهِدَايَةِ مُسْتَرْشِدِهِمْ، وَمُنَاصَحَةِ مُسْتَشِيرِهِمْ
wahidāyati mustar-shidihim, wamunāṣaḥati mustashīrihim
And guiding those who seek guidance, and giving sincere advice to those who consult them
7
وَتَعَهُّدِ قَادِمِهِمْ، وَكِتْمَانِ أَسْرَارِهِمْ
wata`ahhudi qādimihim, wakitmāni asrārihim
And caring for their newcomers, and keeping their secrets
8
وَسَتْرِ عَوْرَاتِهِمْ، وَنُصْرَةِ مَظْلُومِهِمْ
wasatri `awrātihim, wanuṣrati maẓlūmihim
And covering their faults, and helping their oppressed ones
9
وَحُسْنِ مُوَاسَاتِهِمْ بِالْمَاعُونِ
waḥusni muwāsātihim bil mā`ūn
And supporting them well with aid
10
وَالْعَوْدِ عَلَيْهِمْ بِالْجِدَةِ وَالْإِفْضَالِ
wal`awdi `alayhim bil jidati wal-ifḍāl
And returning to them with wealth and favor
11
وَإِعْطَاءِ مَا يَجِبُ لَهُمْ قَبْلَ السُّؤَالِ
wa-i`ṭā-i mā yajibu lahum qablas su-āl
And giving them what they deserve before they ask
12
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ اللَّهُمَّ أَجْزِيْ بِالْإِحْسَانِ مُسِيئَهُمْ
waj`alnillāhumma ajzī bil iḥsāni musī-ahum
And make me, O Allah, repay their evildoers with goodness
13
وَأَعْرِضُ بِالتَّجَاوُزِ عَنْ ظَالِمِهِمْ
wa-a`riḍu bittajāwuzi `an ẓālimihim
And turn away from their wrongdoers with forgiveness
14
وَأَسْتَعْمِلُ حُسْنَ الظَّنِّ فِيْ كَافَّتِهِمْ، وَأَتَوَلَّى بِالْبِرِّ عَامَّتَهُمْ
wa-asta`milu ḥusnaẓ ẓanni fī kāffatihim, wa-atawallā bil birri `āmmatahum
And have good thoughts about all of them, and be good to all of them
15
وَأَغُضُّ بَصَرِيْ عَنْهُمْ عِفَّةً
wa-aghuḍḍu baṣarī `anhum `iffah
And lower my gaze from them out of chastity
16
وَأُلِينُ جَانِبِيْ لَهُمْ تَوَاضُعًا
wa-ulīnu jānibī lahum tawāḍu`ā
And be gentle with them out of humility
17
وَأَرِقُّ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْبَلَاءِ مِنْهُمْ رَحْمَةً
wa-ariqqu `alā ahlil balā-i minhum raḥmah
And be compassionate to those of them who are in distress out of mercy
18
وَأُسِرُّ لَهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ مَوَدَّةً
wa-usirru lahum bil ghaybi mawaddah
And have affection for them in their absence
19
وَأُحِبُّ بَقَاءَ النِّعْمَةِ عِنْدَهُمْ نُصْحًا
wa-uḥibbu baqā-an ni`mati `indahum nuṣ-ḥā
And wish for the continuance of blessings for them sincerely
20
وَأُوجِبُ لَهُمْ مَا أُوجِبُ لِحَامَّتِي
wa-ūjibu lahum mā ūjibu liḥāmmatī
And make obligatory for them what I make obligatory for my close ones
21
وَأَرْعَى لَهُمْ مَا أَرْعَى لِخَاصَّتِي
wa-ar-`ā lahum mā ar-`ā likhāṣṣatī
And observe for them what I observe for my special ones
22
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family
23
وَارْزُقْنِيْ مِثْلَ ذٰلِكَ مِنْهُمْ
war-zuqnī mithla dhālika minhum
And provide me with the same from them
24
وَاجْعَلْ لِيْ أَوْفَى الْحُظُوظِ فِيمَا عِنْدَهُمْ
waj`al lī awfal ḥuẓūẓi fīmā `indahum
And grant me the fullest share of what they have
25
وَزِدْهُمْ بَصِيرَةً فِيْ حَقِّي، وَمَعْرِفَةً بِفَضْلِي
wazid-hum baṣīratan fī ḥaqqī, wama`rifatan bifaḍlī
And increase their insight into my rights and their recognition of my excellence
26
حَتَّى يَسْعَدُوْا بِيْ وَأَسْعَدَ بِهِمْ
ḥattā yas`adū bī wa-as`ada bihim
So that they may be happy with me and I may be happy with them
27
آمِيْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
āmīna rabbal `ālamīn
Amen, O Lord of the worlds
