بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
أَللَّهُمَّ وَمُنَّ عَلَيَّ بِبَقَاءِ وُلْدِي
allāhumma wamunna `alayya bibaqā-i wuldī
O Allah, favor me with the survival of my children
2
وَبِإِصْلاَحِهِمْ لِي، وَبِإِمْتَاعِيْ بِهِمْ
wabi-iṣlāḥihim lī, wabi-imtā`ī bihim
And with their righteousness for me, and with my enjoyment of them
3
إِلٰهِيْ أُمْدُدْ لِيْ فِيْ أَعْمَارِهِمْ
ilāhī umdud lī fī a`mārihim
My God, extend for me their lifespans
4
وَزِدْ لِيْ فِيْ آجَالِهِمْ
wazid lī fī-ājālihim
And increase for me their terms
5
وَرَبِّ لِيْ صَغِيرَهُمْ
warabbi lī ṣaghīrahum
And nurture for me their little ones
6
وَقَوِّ لِيْ ضَعِيْفَهُمْ
waqawwi lī ḍa`īfahum
And strengthen for me their weak ones
7
وَأَصِحَّ لِيْ أَبْدَانَهُمْ وَأَدْيَانَهُمْ وَأَخْلاَقَهُمْ
wa-aṣiḥḥa lī abdānahum wa-adyānahum wa-akhlāqahum
And make sound for me their bodies, their faith, and their character
8
وَعَافِهِمْ فِيْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَفِيْ جَوَارِحِهِمْ
wa`āfihim fī anfusihim wafī jawāriḥihim
And grant them well-being in themselves and in their faculties
9
وَفِيْ كُلِّ مَا عُنِيْتُ بِهِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ
wafī kulli mā `unītu bihi min amrihim
And in all that concerns me regarding their affairs
10
وَأَدْرِرْ لِيْ وَعَلَى يَـدِيْ أَرْزَاقَهُمْ
wa-adrir lī wa`alā yadī ar-zāqahum
And increase for me and by my hands their sustenance
11
وَاجْعَلْهُمْ أَبْرَارًا أَتْقِيَاءَ بُصَرَاءَ سَامِعِينَ
waj`alhum abrāran atqiyā-a buṣarā-a sāmi`īn
And make them righteous, God-fearing, insightful, and attentive
12
مُطِيعِينَ لَكَ وَلِأَوْلِيَائِكَ مُحِبِّينَ مُنَاصِحِيْنَ
muṭī`īna laka wali-awliyā-ika muḥibbīna munāṣiḥīn
Obedient to You and to Your friends, loving and sincere
13
وَلِجَمِيْعِ أَعْدَائِكَ مُعَانِدِيْنَ وَمُبْغِضِينَ آمِيْنَ
walijamī`i a`dā-ika mu`ānidīna wamubghiḍīna-āmīn
And to all Your enemies, resistant and hateful. Amen
14
أَللَّهُمَّ اشْدُدْ بِهِمْ عَضُدِي
allāhummashdud bihim `aḍudī
O Allah, strengthen my support through them
15
وَأَقِمْ بِهِمْ أَوَدِي، وَكَثِّرْ بِهِمْ عَدَدِي
wa-aqim bihim awadī, wakathhir bihim `adadī
And straighten my crookedness through them, and increase my numbers through them
16
وَزَيِّنْ بِهِمْ مَحْضَرِي، وَأَحْيِ بِهِمْ ذِكْرِي
wazayyin bihim maḥḍarī, wa-aḥyi bihim dhikrī
And adorn my presence through them, and keep my memory alive through them
17
وَاكْفِنِيْ بِهِمْ فِيْ غَيْبَتِيْ وَأَعِنِّيْ بِهِمْ عَلَى حَاجَتِي
wakfinī bihim fī ghaybatī wa-a`innī bihim `alā ḥājatī
And suffice me through them in my absence, and help me through them with my needs
18
وَاجْعَلْهُمْ لِيْ مُحِبِّينَ، وَعَلَيَّ حَدِبِينَ مُقْبِلِينَ مُسْتَقِيمِيْنَ لِي
waj`alhum lī muḥibbīn, wa`alayya ḥadibīna muqbilīna mustaqīmīna lī
And make them loving towards me, affectionate to me, approaching me, and upright for me
19
مُطِيعِينَ غَيْرَ عَاصِينَ
muṭī`īna ghayra `āṣīn
Obedient, not disobedient
20
وَلَا عَاقِّينَ وَلَا مُخَالِفِينَ وَلَا خَاطِئِينَ
walā `āqqīna walā mukhālifīna walā khāṭi-īn
Not disrespectful, not opposing, and not erring
21
وَأَعِنِّيْ عَلَى تَرْبِيَتِهِمْ وَتَأْدِيبِهِمْ وَبِرِّهِمْ
wa-a`innī `alā tar-biyatihim wata-dībihim wabirrihim
And help me in their upbringing, their discipline, and being dutiful to them
22
وَهَبْ لِيْ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ مَعَهُمْ أَوْلاَدًا ذُكُورًا
wahab lī min ladunka ma`ahum awlādan dhukūrā
And grant me from Your presence, with them, male children
23
وَاجْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ خَيْرًا لِيْ وَاجْعَلْهُمْ لِيْ عَوْنًا عَلَى مَا سَأَلْتُكَ
waj`al dhālika khayran lī waj`alhum lī `awnan `alā mā sa-altuk
And make that good for me, and make them for me a support in what I ask of You
24
وَأَعِذْنِيْ وَذُرِّيَّتِيْ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
wa-a`idhnī wadhurriyyatī minash shayṭānir rajīm
And protect me and my offspring from the accursed Satan
25
فَإِنَّكَ خَلَقْتَنَا وَأَمَرْتَنَا وَنَهَيْتَنَا وَرَغَّبْتَنَا
fa-innaka khalaqtanā wa-amar-tanā wanahaytanā waraghhabtanā
For indeed You created us, commanded us, forbade us, and made us desire
26
فِيْ ثَوَابِ مَا أَمَرْتَنَا وَرَهَّبْتَنَا عِقَابَهُ
fī thawābi mā amar-tanā warahhabtanā `iqābah
The reward of what You commanded us, and made us fear its punishment
27
وَجَعَلْتَ لَنَا عَدُوًّا يَكِيدُنَا
waja`alta lanā `aduwwan yakīdunā
And You made for us an enemy who plots against us
28
سَلَّطْتَهُ مِنَّا عَلَى مَا لَمْ تُسَلِّطْنَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ
sallaṭtahu minnā `alā mā lam tusalliṭnā `alayhi minh
You gave him power over us in ways You did not give us power over him
29
أَسْكَنْتَهُ صُدُورَنَا، وَأَجْرَيْتَهُ مَجَارِيَ دِمَائِنَا
askantahu ṣudūranā, wa-ajraytahu majāriya dimā-inā
You settled him in our chests, and made him run in our blood vessels
30
لَا يَغْفُلُ إِنْ غَفَلْنَا، وَلَا يَنْسَى إِنْ نَسِينَا
lā yaghfulu in ghafalnā, walā yansā in nasīnā
He does not become heedless when we are heedless, and does not forget when we forget
31
يُؤْمِنُنَا عِقَابَكَ، وَيُخَوِّفُنَا بِغَيْرِكَ
yu-minunā `iqābak, wayukhawwifunā bighayrik
He makes us feel secure from Your punishment, and frightens us with other than You
32
إِنْ هَمَمْنَا بِفَاحِشَةٍ شَجَّعَنَا عَلَيْهَا
in hamamnā bifāḥishatin shajja`anā `alayhā
If we intend to commit an indecency, he encourages us to do it
33
وَإِنْ هَمَمْنَا بِعَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ ثَبَّطَنَا عَنْهُ
wa-in hamamnā bi`amalin ṣāliḥin thabbaṭanā `anh
And if we intend to do a righteous deed, he holds us back from it
34
يَتَعَرَّضُ لَنَا بِالشَّهَوَاتِ، وَيَنْصِبُ لَنَا بِالشُّبُهَاتِ
yata`arraḍu lanā bishhahawāt, wayanṣibu lanā bishhubuhāt
He presents us with desires, and sets up for us doubts
35
إِنْ وَعَدَنَا كَذَبَنَا وَإِنْ مَنَّانَا أَخْلَفَنَا
in wa`adanā kadhabanā wa-in mannānā akhlafanā
If he promises us, he lies to us, and if he gives us hope, he breaks his promise
36
وَإِلَّا تَصْرِفْ عَنَّا كَيْدَهُ يُضِلَّنَا
wa-illā taṣrif `annā kaydahu yuḍillanā
And if You do not turn his plot away from us, he will lead us astray
37
وَإِلَّا تَقِنَا خَبَالَهُ يَسْتَزِلَّنَا
wa-illā taqinā khabālahu yastazillanā
And if You do not protect us from his corruption, he will cause us to slip
38
اَللَّهُمَّ فَاقْهَرْ سُلْطَانَهُ عَنَّا بِسُلْطَانِكَ حَتَّى تَحْبِسَهُ عَنَّا
allāhumma faqhar sulṭānahu `annā bisulṭānika ḥattā taḥbisahu `annā
O Allah, subdue his authority over us with Your authority until You restrain him from us
39
بِكَثْرَةِ الدُّعَاءِ لَكَ، فَنُصْبِحَ مِنْ كَيْدِهِ فِيْ الْمَعْصُومِيْنَ بِكَ
bikathratid du`ā-i lak, fanuṣbiḥa min kaydihi fil ma`ṣūmīna bik
Through abundant supplication to You, so that we may become, through Your protection, safe from his plots
40
اَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِنِيْ كُلَّ سُؤْلِي، وَاقْضِ لِيْ حَوَائِجِي
allāhumma a`ṭinī kulla su-lī, waqḍi lī ḥawā-ijī
O Allah, grant me all my requests, and fulfill for me my needs
41
وَلَا تَمْنَعْنِيْ الْإِجَابَةَ وَقَدْ ضَمِنْتَهَا لِي
walā tamna`nil ijābata waqad ḍamintahā lī
And do not withhold the response from me when You have guaranteed it to me
42
وَلَا تَحْجُبْ دُعَائِيْ عَنْكَ وَقَدْ أَمَرْتَنِيْ بِهِ
walā taḥjub du`ā-ī `anka waqad amar-tanī bih
And do not veil my supplication from You when You have commanded me to make it
43
وَامْنُنْ عَلَيَّ بِكُلِّ مَا يُصْلِحُنِي
wamnun `alayya bikulli mā yuṣliḥunī
And favor me with all that benefits me
44
فِيْ دُنْيَايَ وَ آخِرَتِيْ مَا ذَكَرْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا نَسِيتُ
fī dunyāya wa ākhiratī mā dhakar-tu minhu wamā nasīt
In my worldly life and my hereafter, what I have remembered of it and what I have forgotten
45
أَوْ أَظْهَرْتُ أَوْ أَخْفَيْتُ، أَوْ أَعْلَنْتُ أَوْ أَسْرَرْتُ
aw aẓhar-tu aw akhfayt, aw a`lantu aw asrar-t
Or what I have shown or concealed, or what I have made public or kept secret
46
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ فِيْ جَمِيْعِ ذٰلِكَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِيْنَ بِسُؤَالِيْ إِيَّاكَ
waj`alnī fī jamī`i dhālika minal muṣliḥīna bisu-ālī iyyāk
And make me in all of that among those who are reformed by asking You
47
اَلْمُنْجِحِيْنَ بِالطَّلَبِ إِلَيْكَ
al munjiḥīna biṭṭalabi ilayk
Those who are successful in seeking from You
48
غَيْرِ الْمَمْنُوعِينَ بِالتَّوَكُّلِ عَلَيْكَ
ghayril mamnū`īna bittawakkuli `alayk
Those who are not denied by relying upon You
49
اَلْمُعَوَّدِيْنَ بِالتَّعَوُّذِ بِكَ، اَلرَّابِحِيْنَ فِيْ التِّجَارَةِ عَلَيْكَ، الْمُجَارِينَ بِعِزِّكَ
al mu`awwadīna bitta`awwudhi bik, ar rābiḥīna fit tijārati `alayk, al mujārīna bi`izzik
Those accustomed to seeking refuge in You, those who profit in trading with You, those protected by Your might
50
اَلْمُوَسَّعِ عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّزْقُ الْحَلاَلُ
al muwassa`i `alayhimur rizqul ḥalāl
Those upon whom lawful sustenance is expanded
51
مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْوَاسِعِ بِجُودِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ
min faḍlikal wāsi`i bijūdika wakaramik
From Your vast bounty through Your generosity and nobility
52
اَلْمُعَزِّينَ مِنَ الذُّلِّ بِكَ، وَالْمُجَارِينَ مِنَ الظُّلْمِ بِعَدْلِكَ
al mu`azzīna minadh dhulli bik, walmujārīna minaẓ ẓulmi bi`adlik
Those who are honored from humiliation by You, and those who are protected from injustice by Your justice
53
وَالْمُعَافَيْنَ مِنَ الْبَلاَءِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ، وَالْمُغْنَيْنَ مِنَ الْفَقْرِ بِغِنَاكَ
walmu`āfayna minal balā-i biraḥmatik, walmughnayna minal faqri bighināk
And those who are saved from affliction by Your mercy, and those who are enriched from poverty by Your wealth
54
وَالْمَعْصُومِيْنَ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ وَالزَّلَلِ وَالْخَطَأِ بِتَقْوَاكَ
walma`ṣūmīna minadh dhunūbi waz zalali walkhaṭa-i bitaqwāk
And those who are preserved from sins, errors, and mistakes by Your fear
55
وَالْمُوَفَّقِينَ لِلْخَيْرِ وَالرُّشْدِ وَالصَّوَابِ بِطَاعَتِكَ
walmuwaffaqīna lilkhayri war rushdi waṣ ṣawābi biṭā`atik
And those who are guided to goodness, right guidance, and correctness by Your obedience
56
وَالْمُحَالِ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ الذُّنُوبِ بِقُدْرَتِكَ
walmuḥāli baynahum wabaynadh dhunūbi biqudratik
And those who are prevented from sins by Your power
57
اَلتَّارِكِينَ لِكُلِّ مَعْصِيَتِكَ، اَلسَّاكِنِيْنَ فِيْ جِوَارِكَ
at tārikīna likulli ma`ṣiyatik, as sākinīna fī jiwārik
Those who abandon all disobedience to You, those who dwell in Your proximity
58
اَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِنَا جَمِيعَ ذٰلِكَ بِتَوْفِيقِكَ
allāhumma a`ṭinā jamī`a dhālika bitawfīqik
O Allah, give us all of that through Your guidance
59
وَرَحْمَتِكَ وَأَعِذْنَا مِنْ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ
waraḥmatika wa-a`idhnā min `adhābis sa`īr
And Your mercy, and protect us from the punishment of the blazing fire
60
وَأَعْطِ جَمِيعَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ
wa-a`ṭi jamī`al muslimīna walmuslimāt
And grant all Muslim men and women
61
وَالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ مِثْلَ الَّذِيْ سَأَلْتُكَ لِنَفْسِي
walmu-minīna walmu-mināti mithlal ladhī sa-altuka linafsī
And believing men and women the like of what I have asked You for myself
62
وَلِوُلْدِيْ فِيْ عَاجِلِ الدُّنْيَا وَ آجِلِ الْآخِرَةِ
waliwuldī fī `ājilid dunyā wa ājilil-ākhirah
And for my children in the immediate world and the future hereafter
63
إِنَّكَ قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبٌ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
innaka qarībun mujībun samī`un `alīm
Indeed, You are Near, Responsive, All-Hearing, All-Knowing
64
عَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌ رَؤُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ
`afuwwun ghafūrun ra-ūfun raḥīm
Pardoning, Forgiving, Kind, Merciful
65
وَ آتِنَا فِيْ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِيْ الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
wa ātinā fid dunyā ḥasanatan wafil-ākhirati ḥasanatan waqinā `adhāban nār
And give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire
