بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا الْغَيْثَ
allāhummasqinal ghayth
O Allah, quench us with rain
2
وَانْشُرْ عَلَيْنَا رَحْمَتَكَ بِغَيْثِكَ الْمُغْدِقِ
wanshur `alaynā raḥmataka bighaythikal mughdiq
And spread upon us Your mercy with Your abundant rain
3
مِنَ السَّحَابِ الْمُنْسَاقِ لِنَبَاتِ أَرْضِكَ الْمُونِقِ فِيْ جَمِيْعِ الْآفَاقِ
minas saḥābil munsāqi linabāti ar-ḍikal mūniqi fī jamī`il-āfāq
From the flowing clouds for the flourishing plants of Your earth in all regions
4
وَامْنُنْ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ بِإِينَاعِ الثَّمَرَةِ
wamnun `alā `ibādika bi-īnā`ith thamarah
And bestow upon Your servants the ripening of fruits
5
وَأَحْيِ بِلَادَكَ بِبُلُوغِ الزَّهَرَةِ
wa-aḥyi bilādaka bibulūghiz zaharah
And revive Your lands with blooming flowers
6
وَأَشْهِدْ مَلَائِكَتَكَ الْكِرَامَ السَّفَرَةَ
wa-ash-hid malā-ikatakal kirāmas safarah
And let Your noble, recording angels witness
7
بِسَقْيٍ مِنْكَ نَافِعٍ دَائِمٍ غُزْرُهُ
bisaqyin minka nāfi`in dā-imin ghuzruh
A beneficial watering from You, continuous in its abundance
8
وَاسِعٍ دِرَرُهُ وَابِلٍ سَرِيعٍ عَاجِلٍ
wāsi`in diraruhu wābilin sarī`in `ājil
Vast in its flow, heavy, swift, and immediate
9
تُحْيِيْ بِهِ مَا قَدْ مَاتَ، وَتَرُدُّ بِهِ مَا قَدْ فَاتَ
tuḥyī bihi mā qad māt, wataruddu bihi mā qad fāt
By which You revive what has died, and restore what has been lost
10
وَتُخْرِجُ بِهِ مَا هُوَ آتٍ
watukhriju bihi mā huwa-āt
And bring forth what is to come
11
وَتُوَسِّعُ بِهِ فِيْ الْأَقْوَاتِ
watuwassi`u bihi fil aqwāt
And increase through it our provisions
12
سَحَابًا مُتَرَاكِمًا هَنِيئًا مَرِيئًا طَبَقًا
saḥāban mutarākiman hanī-an marī-an ṭabaqā
Clouds that are layered, pleasant, wholesome, covering
13
مُجَلْجَلًا غَيْرَ مُلِثٍّ وَدْقُهُ
mujaljalan ghayra mulithhin wadquh
Resounding with thunder, its rain not delayed
14
وَلَا خُلَّبٍ بَرْقُهُ
walā khullabin bar-quh
Nor its lightning without rain
15
اَللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُغِيثًا مَرِيعًا مُمْرِعًا عَرِيضًا
allāhummasqinā ghaythan mughīthan marī`an mumri`an `arīḍā
O Allah, quench us with rain that brings relief, fertility, abundance, and vastness
16
وَاسِعًا غَزِيرًا تَرُدُّ بِهِ النَّهِيضَ وَتَجْبُرُ بِهِ الْمَهِيضَ
wāsi`an ghazīran taruddu bihin nahīḍa watajburu bihil mahīḍ
Extensive and plentiful, by which You restore the weak and mend what is broken
17
اَللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا سَقْيًا تُسِيلُ مِنْهُ الظِّرَابَ
allāhummasqinā saqyan tusīlu minhuẓ ẓirāb
O Allah, give us rain that makes the hills flow
18
وَتَمْلَأُ مِنْهُ الْجِبَابَ
watamla-u minhul jibāb
And fills the water reservoirs
19
وَتُفَجِّرُ بِهِ الْأَنْهَارَ
watufajjiru bihil anhār
And causes the rivers to burst forth
20
وَتُنْبِتُ بِهِ الْأَشْجَارَ
watunbitu bihil ashjār
And makes the trees grow
21
وَتُرْخِصُ بِهِ الْأَسْعَارَ فِيْ جَمِيْعِ الْأَمْصَارِ
watur-khiṣu bihil as`āra fī jamī`il amṣār
And lowers the prices in all cities
22
وَتَنْعَشُ بِهِ الْبَهَائِمَ وَالْخَلْقَ
watan`ashu bihil bahā-ima walkhalq
And revives the animals and all creation
23
وَتُكْمِلُ لَنَا بِهِ طَيِّبَاتِ الرِّزْقِ
watukmilu lanā bihi ṭayyibātir rizq
And completes for us the good provisions
24
وَتُنْبِتُ لَنَا بِهِ الزَّرْعَ
watunbitu lanā bihiz zar-`
And grows for us the crops
25
وَتُدِرُّ بِهِ الضَّرْعَ
watudirru bihiḍ ḍar-`
And makes the udders flow with milk
26
وَتَزِيدُنَا بِهِ قُوَّةً إِلَى قُوَّتِنَا
watazīdunā bihi quwwatan ilā quwwatinā
And increases our strength upon strength
27
اَللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ ظِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا سَمُومًا
allāhumma lā taj`al ẓillahu `alaynā samūmā
O Allah, do not make its shade upon us poisonous
28
وَلَا تَجْعَلْ بَرْدَهُ عَلَيْنَا حُسُومًا
walā taj`al bar-dahu `alaynā ḥusūmā
And do not make its cold upon us destructive
29
وَلَا تَجْعَلْ صَوْبَهُ عَلَيْنَا رُجُومًا
walā taj`al ṣawbahu `alaynā rujūmā
And do not make its downpour upon us a punishment
30
وَلَا تَجْعَلْ مَاءَهُ عَلَيْنَا أُجَاجًا
walā taj`al mā-ahu `alaynā ujājā
And do not make its water bitter for us
31
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
32
وَارْزُقْنَا مِنْ بَرَكَاتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
war-zuqnā min barakātis samāwāti wal-ar-ḍ
And grant us from the blessings of the heavens and the earth
33
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
innaka `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
Indeed, You have power over all things
