بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَعُوذُ بِكَ
allāhumma innā na`ūdhu bik
O Allah, we seek refuge in You
2
مِنْ نَزَغَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ وَكَيْدِهِ وَمَكَايِدِهِ
min nazaghātish shayṭānir rajīmi wakaydihi wamakāyidih
From the evil suggestions of the accursed Satan, his deceit, and his plots
3
وَمِنَ الثِّقَةِ بِأَمَانِيِّهِ وَمَوَاعِيدِهِ وَغُرُورِهِ وَمَصَايِدِهِ
waminath thiqati bi-amāniyyihi wamawā`īdihi waghurūrihi wamaṣāyidih
And from trusting in his false promises, his pledges, his delusions, and his snares
4
وَأَنْ يُطْمِعَ نَفْسَهُ فِيْ إِضْلَالِنَا
wa-an yuṭmi`a nafsahu fī iḍlālinā
And from his ambition to lead us astray
5
عَنْ طَاعَتِكَ وَامْتِهَانِنَا بِمَعْصِيَتِكَ
`an ṭā`atika wamtihāninā bima`ṣiyatik
From Your obedience and to humiliate us through disobedience to You
6
أَوْ أَنْ يَحْسُنَ عِنْدَنَا مَا حَسَّنَ لَنَا
aw an yaḥsuna `indanā mā ḥassana lanā
Or that he makes appealing to us what he has beautified for us
7
أَوْ أَنْ يَثْقُلَ عَلَيْنَا مَا كَرَّهَ إِلَيْنَا
aw an yathqula `alaynā mā karraha ilaynā
Or that he makes burdensome for us what he has made displeasing to us
8
اَللَّهُمَّ اخْسَأْهُ عَنَّا بِعِبَادَتِكَ
allāhummakhsa-hu `annā bi`ibādatik
O Allah, drive him away from us through our worship of You
9
وَاكْبِتْهُ بِدُؤُوبِنَا فِيْ مَحَبَّتِكَ
wakbit-hu bidu-ūbinā fī maḥabbatik
And suppress him through our persistence in Your love
10
وَاجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُ سِتْرًا لَا يَهْتِكُهُ
waj`al baynanā wabaynahu sitran lā yahtikuh
And place between us and him a covering that he cannot tear
11
وَرَدْمًا مُصْمِتًا لَا يَفْتُقُهُ
waradman muṣmitan lā yaftuquh
And a solid barrier that he cannot breach
12
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
13
وَاشْغَلْهُ عَنَّا بِبَعْضِ أَعْدَائِكَ
washghalhu `annā biba`ḍi a`dā-ik
And distract him from us with some of Your enemies
14
وَاعْصِمْنَا مِنْهُ بِحُسْنِ رِعَايَتِكَ وَاكْفِنَا خَتْرَهُ
wa`ṣimnā minhu biḥusni ri`āyatika wakfinā khatrah
And protect us from him through Your excellent guardianship, and save us from his treachery
15
وَوَلِّنَا ظَهْرَهُ وَاقْطَعْ عَنَّا إِثْرَهُ
wawallinā ẓahrahu waqṭa` `annā ithrah
Turn his back to us and cut off his influence from us
16
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
17
وَأَمْتِعْنَا مِنَ الْهُدَى بِمِثْلِ ضَلَالَتِهِ
wa-amti`nā minal hudā bimithli ḍalālatih
And grant us guidance equal to his misguidance
18
وَزَوِّدْنَا مِنَ التَّقْوَى ضِدَّ غَوَايَتِهِ
wazawwidnā minat taqwā ḍidda ghawāyatih
And provide us with piety contrary to his temptation
19
وَاسْلُكْ بِنَا مِنَ التُّقَى خِلَافَ سَبِيلِهِ مِنَ الرَّدَى
wasluk binā minat tuqā khilāfa sabīlihi minar radā
And lead us on the path of righteousness opposite to his path of destruction
20
اَللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ لَهُ فِيْ قُلُوبِنَا مَدْخَلًا
allāhumma lā taj`al lahu fī qulūbinā madkhalā
O Allah, do not give him an entrance into our hearts
21
وَلَا تُوطِنَنَّ لَهُ فِيمَا لَدَيْنَا مَنْزِلًا
walā tūṭinanna lahu fīmā ladaynā manzilā
And do not allow him to find a dwelling place in what we have
22
اَللَّهُمَّ وَمَا سَوَّلَ لَنَا مِنْ بَاطِلٍ فَعَرِّفْنَاهُ
allāhumma wamā sawwala lanā min bāṭilin fa`arrifnāh
O Allah, whatever falsehood he has made appealing to us, make us recognize it
23
وَإِذَا عَرَّفْتَنَاهُ فَقِنَاهُ وَبَصِّرْنَا مَا نُكَايِدُهُ بِهِ
wa-idhā `arraftanāhu faqināhu wabaṣṣir-nā mā nukāyiduhu bih
And when we recognize it, protect us from it, and show us how to counter his schemes
24
وَأَلْهِمْنَا مَا نُعِدُّهُ لَهُ وَأَيْقِظْنَا عَنْ سِنَةِ الْغَفْلَةِ بِالرُّكُونِ إِلَيْهِ
wa-alhimnā mā nu`idduhu lahu wa-ayqiẓnā `an sinatil ghaflati birrukūni ilayh
And inspire us with what we should prepare against him, and awaken us from the slumber of heedlessness in relying on him
25
وَأَحْسِنْ بِتَوْفِيقِكَ عَوْنَنَا عَلَيْهِ
wa-aḥsin bitawfīqika `awnanā `alayh
And through Your guidance, grant us excellent help against him
26
اَللَّهُمَّ وَأَشْرِبْ قُلُوبَنَا إِنْكَارَ عَمَلِهِ
allāhumma wa-ashrib qulūbanā inkāra `amalih
O Allah, fill our hearts with rejection of his works
27
وَالْطُفْ لَنَا فِيْ نَقْضِ حِيَلِهِ
walṭuf lanā fī naqḍi ḥiyalih
And be gracious to us in dismantling his tricks
28
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَحَوِّلْ سُلْطَانَهُ عَنَّا
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi waḥawwil sulṭānahu `annā
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family, and remove his authority from us
29
وَاقْطَعْ رَجَاءَهُ مِنَّا وَادْرَأْهُ عَنِ الْوُلُوعِ بِنَا
waqṭa` rajā-ahu minnā wadra-hu `anil wulū`i binā
Cut off his hope in us and prevent him from being obsessed with us
30
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
31
وَاجْعَلْ آبَاءَنَا وَأُمَّهَاتِنَا وَأَوْلَادَنَا وَأَهَالِيَنَا
waj`al-ābā-anā wa-ummahātinā wa-awlādanā wa-ahāliyanā
And place our fathers, our mothers, our children, our families
32
وَذَوِيْ أَرْحَامِنَا وَقَرَابَاتِنَا وَجِيرَانَنَا
wadhawī ar-ḥāminā waqarābātinā wajīrānanā
Our relatives, our kinfolk, and our neighbors
33
مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ مِنْهُ فِيْ حِرْزٍ حَارِزٍ
minal mu-minīna walmu-mināti minhu fī ḥir-zin ḥāriz
From among the believing men and women, in a secure refuge from him
34
وَحِصْنٍ حَافِظٍ وَكَهْفٍ مَانِعٍ وَأَلْبِسْهُمْ مِنْهُ جُنَنًا وَاقِيَةً
waḥiṣnin ḥāfiẓin wakahfin māni`in wa-albis-hum minhu junanan wāqiyah
And in a protective fortress, and a sheltering cave, and clothe them with protective shields against him
35
وَأَعْطِهِمْ عَلَيْهِ أَسْلِحَةً مَاضِيَةً
wa-a`ṭihim `alayhi asliḥatan māḍiyah
And give them against him penetrating weapons
36
اَللَّهُمَّ وَاعْمُمْ بِذٰلِكَ مَنْ شَهِدَ لَكَ بِالرُّبُوبِيَّةِ
allāhumma wa`mum bidhālika man shahida laka birrubūbiyyah
O Allah, extend this to all who acknowledge Your Lordship
37
وَأَخْلَصَ لَكَ بِالْوَحْدَانِيَّةِ
wa-akhlaṣa laka bil waḥdāniyyah
And are sincere to You in affirming Your Oneness
38
وَعَادَاهُ لَكَ بِحَقِيقَةِ الْعُبُودِيَّةِ
wa`ādāhu laka biḥaqīqatil `ubūdiyyah
And who oppose him for Your sake with the reality of servitude
39
وَاسْتَظْهَرَ بِكَ عَلَيْهِ فِيْ مَعْرِفَةِ الْعُلُومِ الرَّبَّانِيَّةِ
wastaẓhara bika `alayhi fī ma`rifatil `ulūmir rabbāniyyah
And who seek Your help against him in understanding the divine sciences
40
اَللَّهُمَّ احْلُلْ مَا عَقَدَ وَافْتُقْ مَا رَتَقَ
allāhummaḥlul mā `aqada waftuq mā rataq
O Allah, undo what he has tied, tear apart what he has mended
41
وَافْسَخْ مَا دَبَّرَ وَثَبِّطْهُ إِذَا عَزَمَ وَانْقُضْ مَا أَبْرَمَ
wafsakh mā dabbara wathabbiṭ-hu idhā `azama wanquḍ mā abram
Nullify what he has devised, weaken his resolve when he determines, and unravel what he has affirmed
42
اَللَّهُمَّ وَاهْزِمْ جُنْدَهُ وَأَبْطِلْ كَيْدَهُ
allāhumma wahzim jundahu wa-abṭil kaydah
O Allah, defeat his troops and nullify his plot
43
وَاهْدِمْ كَهْفَهُ وَأَرْغِمْ أَنْفَهُ
wahdim kahfahu wa-ar-ghim anfah
Demolish his refuge and rub his nose in the dust
44
اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا فِيْ نَظْمِ أَعْدَائِهِ
allāhummaj`alnā fī naẓmi a`dā-ih
O Allah, place us among the ranks of his enemies
45
وَاعْزِلْنَا عَنْ عِدَادِ أَوْلِيَائِهِ
wa`zilnā `an `idādi awliyā-ih
And remove us from the number of his friends
46
لَا نُطِيعُ لَهُ إِذَا اسْتَهْوَانَا
lā nuṭī`u lahu idhastahwānā
We will not obey him when he entices us
47
وَلَا نَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ إِذَا دَعَانَا
walā nastajību lahu idhā da`ānā
And we will not respond to him when he calls us
48
نَأْمُرُ بِمُنَاوَاتِهِ مَنْ أَطَاعَ أَمْرَنَا
na-muru bimunāwātihi man aṭā`a amranā
We command those who obey our orders to oppose him
49
وَنَعِظُ عَنْ مُتَابَعَتِهِ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ زَجْرَنَا
wana`iẓu `an mutāba`atihi manittaba`a zajranā
And we admonish those who follow our prohibition against following him
50
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَسَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin khātamin nabiyyīna wasayyidil mur-salīn
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and Master of the Messengers
51
وَعَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
wa`alā ahli baytihiṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīn
And upon his household, the pure and the purified
52
وَأَعِذْنَا وَأَهَالِيَنَا وَإِخْوَانَنَا
wa-a`idhnā wa-ahāliyanā wa-ikhwānanā
And protect us, our families, and our brothers
53
وَجَمِيعَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ مِمَّا اسْتَعَذْنَا مِنْهُ
wajamī`al mu-minīna walmu-mināti mimmasta`adhnā minh
And all believing men and women from that which we seek refuge from
54
وَأَجِرْنَا مِمَّا اسْتَجَرْنَا بِكَ مِنْ خَوْفِهِ
wa-ajir-nā mimmastajar-nā bika min khawfih
And grant us protection from the fear of him which we have sought refuge from
55
وَاسْمَعْ لَنَا مَا دَعَوْنَا بِهِ وَأَعْطِنَا مَا أَغْفَلْنَاهُ وَاحْفَظْ لَنَا مَا نَسِينَاهُ
wasma` lanā mā da`awnā bihi wa-a`ṭinā mā aghfalnāhu waḥfaẓ lanā mā nasīnāh
And hear what we have supplicated for, and grant us what we have neglected, and preserve for us what we have forgotten
56
وَصَيِّرْنَا بِذٰلِكَ فِيْ دَرَجَاتِ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
waṣayyir-nā bidhālika fī darajātiṣ ṣāliḥīn
And through this, elevate us to the ranks of the righteous
57
وَمَرَاتِبِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wamarātibil mu-minīn
And to the stations of the believers
58
آمِيْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
āmīna rabbal `ālamīn
Amen, O Lord of the Worlds
