بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ يَا مَنْ بِرَحْمَتِهِ يَسْتَغيثُ الْمُذْنِبُونَ
allāhumma yā man biraḥmatihi yastaghithul mudhnibūn
O Allah, O the One from whose mercy the sinners seek aid
2
وَيَا مَنْ إِلَى ذِكْرِ إِحْسَانِهِ يَفْزَعُ الْمُضْطَرُّونَ
wayā man ilā dhikri iḥsānihi yafza`ul muḍṭarrūn
And O the One to whose remembrance of favors the distressed turn
3
وَيَا مَنْ لِخِيفَتِهِ يَنْتَحِبُ الْخَاطِئُونَ
wayā man likhīfatihi yantaḥibul khāṭi-ūn
And O the One before whose fear the wrongdoers weep
4
يَا أُنْسَ كُلِّ مُسْتَوْحِشٍ غَرِيبٍ
yā unsa kulli mustawḥishin gharīb
O Companion of every lonely stranger
5
وَيَا فَرَجَ كُلِّ مَكْرُوبٍ كَئِيبٍ
wayā faraja kulli makrūbin ka-īb
And O Relief of every sorrowful sufferer
6
وَيَا غَوْثَ كُلِّ مَخْذُولٍ فَرِيدٍ
wayā ghawtha kulli makhdhūlin farīd
And O Aid of every abandoned solitary one
7
وَيَا عَضُدَ كُلِّ مُحْتَاجٍ طَرِيدٍ
wayā `aḍuda kulli muḥtājin ṭarīd
And O Support of every needy outcast
8
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا
antal ladhī wasi`ta kulla shay-in raḥmatan wa`ilmā
You are the One who encompasses everything with mercy and knowledge
9
وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلْتَ لِكُلِّ مَخْلُوقٍ فِيْ نِعَمِكَ سَهْمًا
wa-antal ladhī ja`alta likulli makhlūqin fī ni`amika sahmā
And You are the One who has granted every creature a share in Your blessings
10
وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ عَفْوُهُ أَعْلَى مِنْ عِقَابِهِ
wa-antal ladhī `afwuhu a`lā min `iqābih
And You are the One whose forgiveness is greater than His punishment
11
وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ تَسْعَى رَحْمَتُهُ أَمَامَ غَضَبِهِ
wa-antal ladhī tas`ā raḥmatuhu amāma ghaḍabih
And You are the One whose mercy precedes His anger
12
وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ عَطَاؤُهُ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ مَنْعِهِ
wa-antal ladhī `aṭa-uhu aktharu min man`ih
And You are the One whose giving is more than His withholding
13
وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ اتَّسَعَ الْخَلَائِقُ كُلُّهُمْ فِيْ وُسْعِهِ
wa-antal ladhittasa`al khalā-iqu kulluhum fī wus`ih
And You are the One in whose vastness all creation is contained
14
وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ لَا يَرْغَبُ فِيْ جَزَاءِ مَنْ أَعْطَاهُ
wa-antal ladhī lā yar-ghabu fī jazā-i man a`ṭāh
And You are the One who does not desire recompense from those to whom You give
15
وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ لَا يُفْرِطُ فِيْ عِقَابِ مَنْ عَصَاهُ
wa-antal ladhī lā yufriṭu fī `iqābi man `aṣāh
And You are the One who does not exceed in punishing those who disobey You
16
وَأَنَا يَا إِلَهِيْ عَبْدُكَ الَّذِيْ أَمَرْتَهُ بِالدُّعَاءِ
wa-ana yā ilahī `abdukal ladhī amar-tahu bid du`ā
And I, O my God, am Your servant whom You commanded to supplicate
17
فَقَالَ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ
faqāla labbayka wasa`dayk
So I said: Here I am, at Your service and pleasure
18
هَا أَنَا ذَا يَا رَبِّ مَطْرُوحٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
hā ana dhā yā rabbi maṭrūḥun bayna yadayk
Here I am, O Lord, thrown before You
19
أَنَا الَّذِيْ أَوْقَرَتِ الْخَطَايَا ظَهْرَهُ
anal ladhī awqaratil khaṭāyā ẓahrah
I am the one whose back is burdened with sins
20
وَأَنَا الَّذِيْ أَفْنَتِ الذُّنُوبُ عُمْرَهُ
wa-anal ladhī afnatidh dhunūbu `umrah
And I am the one whose life is consumed by wrongdoings
21
وَأَنَا الَّذِيْ بِجَهْلِهِ عَصَاكَ
wa-anal ladhī bijahlihi `aṣāk
And I am the one who, in his ignorance, disobeyed You
22
وَلَمْ تَكُنْ أَهْلًا مِنْهُ لِذَاكَ
walam takun ahlan minhu lidhāk
Though You did not deserve that from him
23
هَلْ أَنْتَ يَا إِلَهِيْ رَاحِمٌ مَنْ دَعَاكَ فَأُبْلِغَ فِيْ الدُّعَاءِ
hal anta yā ilahī rāḥimun man da`āka fa-ubligha fid du`ā
Will You, O my God, be merciful to one who supplicates to You, so I may persist in supplication?
24
أَمْ أَنْتَ غَافِرٌ لِمَنْ بَكَاكَ فَأُسْرِعَ فِيْ الْبُكَاءِ
am anta ghāfirun liman bakāka fa-usri`a fil bukā
Or will You forgive one who weeps to You, so I may hasten to weep?
25
أَمْ أَنْتَ مُتَجَاوِزٌ عَمَّنْ عَفَّرَ لَكَ وَجْهَهُ تَذَلُّلًا
am anta mutajāwizun `amman `affara laka wajhahu tadhallulā
Or will You overlook one who humbles his face before You?
26
أَمْ أَنْتَ مُغْنٍ مَنْ شَكَا إِلَيْكَ فَقْرَهُ تَوَكُّلًا
am anta mughnin man shakā ilayka faqrahu tawakkulā
Or will You enrich one who complains to You of his poverty, trusting in You?
27
إِلَهِيْ لَا تُخَيِّبْ مَنْ لَا يَجِدُ مُعْطِيًا غَيْرَكَ
ilahī lā tukhayyib man lā yajidu mu`ṭiyan ghayrak
My God, do not disappoint one who finds no giver other than You
28
وَلَا تَخْذُلْ مَنْ لَا يَسْتَغْنِيْ عَنْكَ بِأَحَدٍ دُونَكَ
walā takhdhul man lā yastaghnī `anka bi-aḥadin dūnak
And do not forsake one who cannot be free of need for You through anyone else
29
إِلَهِيْ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
ilahī faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
My God, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family
30
وَلَا تُعْرِضْ عَنِّيْ وَقَدْ أَقْبَلْتُ عَلَيْكَ
walā tu`riḍ `annī waqad aqbaltu `alayk
And do not turn away from me when I have turned toward You
31
وَلَا تَحْرِمْنِيْ وَقَدْ رَغِبْتُ إِلَيْكَ
walā taḥrimnī waqad raghibtu ilayk
And do not deprive me when I have desired You
32
وَلَا تَجْبَهْنِيْ بِالرَّدِّ وَقَدِ انْتَصَبْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
walā tajbahnī birraddi waqadintaṣabtu bayna yadayk
And do not reject me with refusal when I have stood before You
33
أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ وَصَفْتَ نَفْسَكَ بِالرَّحْمَةِ
antal ladhī waṣafta nafsaka birraḥmah
You are the One who has described Yourself with mercy
34
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَارْحَمْنِي
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi war-ḥamnī
So bless Muhammad and his family, and have mercy upon me
35
وَأَنْتَ الَّذِيْ سَمَّيْتَ نَفْسَكَ بِالْعَفْوِ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
wa-antal ladhī sammayta nafsaka bil `afwi fa`fu `annī
And You are the One who has named Yourself with forgiveness, so forgive me
36
قَدْ تَرَى يَا إِلَهِيْ فَيْضَ دَمْعِيْ مِنْ خِيفَتِكَ
qad tarā yā ilahī fayḍa dam`ī min khīfatik
You see, O my God, the flow of my tears from fear of You
37
وَوَجِيبَ قَلْبِيْ مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ
wawajība qalbī min khashyatik
And the pounding of my heart from awe of You
38
وَانْتِقَاضَ جَوَارِحِيْ مِنْ هَيْبَتِكَ
wantiqāḍa jawāriḥī min haybatik
And the trembling of my limbs from dread of You
39
كُلُّ ذٰلِكَ حَيَاءٌ مِنْكَ لِسُوءِ عَمَلِي
kullu dhālika ḥayā-un minka lisū-i `amalī
All of this is out of shame before You for my evil deeds
40
وَلِذَاكَ خَمَدَ صَوْتِيْ عَنِ الْجَأْرِ إِلَيْكَ
walidhāka khamada ṣawtī `anil ja-ri ilayk
And because of this my voice is silenced from crying out to You
41
وَكَلَّ لِسَانِيْ عَنْ مُنَاجَاتِكَ
wakalla lisānī `an munājātik
And my tongue is unable to whisper to You
42
يَا إِلَهِيْ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
yā ilahī falakal ḥamd
O my God, all praise belongs to You
43
فَكَمْ مِنْ عَائِبَةٍ سَتَرْتَهَا عَلَيَّ فَلَمْ تَفْضَحْنِي
fakam min `ā-ibatin satar-tahā `alayya falam tafḍaḥnī
How many faults You have concealed without exposing me
44
وَكَمْ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ غَطَّيْتَهُ عَلَيَّ فَلَمْ تَشْهَرْنِي
wakam min dhanbin ghaṭṭaytahu `alayya falam tash-har-nī
How many sins You have covered without disgracing me
45
وَكَمْ مِنْ شَائِبَةٍ أَلْمَمْتُ بِهَا فَلَمْ تَهْتِكْ عَنِّيْ سِتْرَهَا
wakam min shā-ibatin almamtu bihā falam tahtik `annī sitrahā
How many blemishes I have committed, yet You did not tear away their covering
46
وَلَمْ تُقَلِّدْنِيْ مَكْرُوهَ شَنَارِهَا
walam tuqallidnī makrūha shanārihā
And You did not place around my neck the ill of their disgrace
47
وَلَمْ تُبْدِ سَوْءَاتِهَا لِمَنْ يَلْتَمِسُ مَعَايِبِيْ مِنْ جِيرَتِي
walam tubdi saw-ātihā liman yaltamisu ma`āyibī min jīratī
And You did not reveal my faults to those who seek out my defects among my neighbors
48
وَحَسَدَةِ نِعْمَتِكَ عِنْدِي
waḥasadati ni`matika `indī
And those who envy Your favor upon me
49
ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنْهَنِيْ ذٰلِكَ عَنْ أَنْ جَرَيْتُ إِلَى سُوءِ مَا عَهِدْتَ مِنِّي
thumma lam yanhanī dhālika `an an jaraytu ilā sū-i mā `ahidta minnī
Yet all that did not prevent me from committing what You know of my evil ways
50
فَمَنْ أَجْهَلُ مِنِّيْ يَا إِلَهِيْ بِرُشْدِهِ
faman ajhalu minnī yā ilahī birushdih
So who is more ignorant than I am, O my God, about what is good for him?
51
وَمَنْ أَغْفَلُ مِنِّيْ عَنْ حَظِّهِ
waman aghfalu minnī `an ḥaẓẓih
And who is more heedless than I am about his own portion?
52
وَمَنْ أَبْعَدُ مِنِّيْ مِنِ اسْتِصْلَاحِ نَفْسِهِ
waman ab`adu minnī ministiṣlāḥi nafsih
And who is further than I am from reforming himself?
53
حِيْنَ أُنْفِقُ مَا أَجْرَيْتَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ رِزْقِكَ
ḥīna unfiqu mā ajrayta `alayya min rizqik
When I spend what You have provided for me from Your sustenance
54
فِيمَا نَهَيْتَنِيْ عَنْهُ مِنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ
fīmā nahaytanī `anhu min ma`ṣiyatik
In what You have forbidden me from doing
55
وَمَنْ أَبْعَدُ غَوْرًا فِيْ الْبَاطِلِ
waman ab`adu ghawran fil bāṭil
And who is deeper in falsehood
56
وَأَشَدُّ إِقْدَامًا عَلَى السُّوءِ مِنِّي
wa-ashaddu iqdāman `alas sū-i minnī
And more daring in evil than I am?
57
حِيْنَ أَقِفُ بَيْنَ دَعْوَتِكَ وَدَعْوَةِ الشَّيْطَانِ
ḥīna aqifu bayna da`watika wada`watish shayṭān
When I stand between Your call and the call of Satan
58
فَأَتَّبِعُ دَعْوَتَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ عَمًى مِنِّيْ فِيْ مَعْرِفَةٍ بِهِ
fa-attabi`u da`watahu `alā ghayri `aman minnī fī ma`rifatin bih
And follow his call without being blind to knowledge of him
59
وَلَا نِسْيَانٍ مِنْ حِفْظِيْ لَهُ
walā nisyānin min ḥifẓī lah
Or forgetful of his remembrance
60
وَأَنَا حِيْنَئِذٍ مُوقِنٌ
wa-ana ḥīna-idhin mūqin
And I am at that moment certain
61
بِأَنَّ مُنْتَهَى دَعْوَتِكَ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَمُنْتَهَى دَعْوَتِهِ إِلَى النَّارِ
bi-anna muntahā da`watika ilal jannati wamuntahā da`watihi ilan nār
That Your call leads to Paradise and his call leads to Hellfire
62
سُبْحَانَكَ مَا أَعْجَبَ مَا أَشْهَدُ بِهِ
subḥānaka mā a`jaba mā ash-hadu bih
Glory be to You! How amazing is what I testify against
63
عَلَى نَفْسِيْ وَأُعَدِّدُهُ مِنْ مَكْتُومِ أَمْرِي
`alā nafsī wa-u`addiduhu min maktūmi amrī
Myself, and recount of the hidden matters of my affairs
64
وَأَعْجَبُ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ أَنَاتُكَ عَنِّي
wa-a`jabu min dhālika anātuka `annī
And more amazing than that is Your patience with me
65
وَإِبْطَاؤُكَ عَنْ مُعَاجَلَتِي
wa-ibṭa-uka `an mu`ājalatī
And Your slowness in hastening my punishment
66
وَلَيْسَ ذٰلِكَ مِنْ كَرَمِيْ عَلَيْكَ
walaysa dhālika min karamī `alayk
That is not because I am worthy in Your sight
67
بَلْ تَأَنِّيًا مِنْكَ لِي
bal ta-anniyan minka lī
But because of Your patience toward me
68
وَتَفَضُّلًا مِنْكَ عَلَيَّ
watafaḍḍulan minka `alayy
And Your favor upon me
69
لِأَنْ أَرْتَدِعَ عَنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ الْمُسْخِطَةِ
li-an ar-tadi`a `an ma`ṣiyatikal muskhiṭah
So that I may refrain from Your anger-causing disobedience
70
وَأُقْلِعَ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِيَ الْمُخْلِقَةِ
wa-uqli`a `an sayyi-ātiyal mukhliqah
And abandon my worn-out evils
71
وَلِأَنَّ عَفْوَكَ عَنِّيْ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ عُقُوبَتِي
wali-anna `afwaka `annī aḥabbu ilayka min `uqūbatī
And because Your pardon for me is more beloved to You than punishing me
72
بَلْ أَنَا يَا إِلَهِيْ أَكْثَرُ ذُنُوبًا
bal ana yā ilahī aktharu dhunūbā
Rather, O my God, I am greater in sins
73
وَأَقْبَحُ آثَارًا
wa-aqbaḥu-āthārā
And more disgraceful in misdeeds
74
وَأَشْنَعُ أَفْعَالًا
wa-ashna`u af`ālā
And more hideous in actions
75
وَأَشَدُّ فِيْ الْبَاطِلِ تَهَوُّرًا
wa-ashaddu fil bāṭili tahawwurā
And more reckless in rushing into falsehood
76
وَأَضْعَفُ عِنْدَ طَاعَتِكَ تَيَقُّظًا
wa-aḍ`afu `inda ṭā`atika tayaqquẓā
And weaker in wakefulness for Your obedience
77
وَأَقَلُّ لِوَعِيدِكَ انْتِبَاهًا وَارْتِقَابًا
wa-aqallu liwa`īdikantibāhan war-tiqābā
And less attentive and watchful of Your warnings
78
مِنْ أَنْ أُحْصِيَ لَكَ عُيُوبِي
min an uḥṣiya laka `uyūbī
Than that I could count my faults for You
79
أَوْ أَقْدِرَ عَلَى ذِكْرِ ذُنُوبِي
aw aqdira `alā dhikri dhunūbī
Or have the ability to mention my sins
80
وَإِنَّمَا أُوَبِّخُ بِهَذَا نَفْسِيْ طَمَعًا فِيْ رَأْفَتِكَ
wa-innamā uwabbikhu bihadhā nafsī ṭama`an fī ra-fatik
I only rebuke myself in hope for Your tenderness
81
اَلَّتِيْ بِهَا صَلَاحُ أَمْرِ الْمُذْنِبِينَ
al latī bihā ṣalāḥu amril mudhnibīn
By which the affairs of sinners are set right
82
وَرَجَاءً لِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِيْ بِهَا فَكَاكُ رِقَابِ الْخَاطِئِينَ
warajā-an liraḥmatikal latī bihā fakāku riqābil khāṭi-īn
And in hope for Your mercy by which the necks of wrongdoers are freed
83
اَللَّهُمَّ وَهٰذِهِ رَقَبَتِيْ قَدْ أَرَقَّتْهَا الذُّنُوبُ
allāhumma wahādhihi raqabatī qad araqqat-hadh dhunūb
O Allah, this is my neck, enslaved by sins
84
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَأَعْتِقْهَا بِعَفْوِكَ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi wa-a`tiqhā bi`afwik
So bless Muhammad and his family, and free it by Your pardon
85
وَهٰذَا ظَهْرِيْ قَدْ أَثْقَلَتْهُ الْخَطَايَا
wahādhā ẓahrī qad athqalat-hul khaṭāyā
And this is my back, burdened by mistakes
86
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَخَفِّفْ عَنْهُ بِمَنِّكَ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi wakhaffif `anhu bimannik
So bless Muhammad and his family, and lighten it with Your grace
87
يَا إِلَهِيْ لَوْ بَكَيْتُ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّى تَسْقُطَ أَشْفَارُ عَيْنَيَّ
yā ilahī law bakaytu ilayka ḥattā tasquṭa ashfāru `aynayy
O my God, if I were to weep to You until my eyelashes fall off
88
وَانْتَحَبْتُ حَتَّى يَنْقَطِعَ صَوْتِي
wantaḥabtu ḥattā yanqaṭi`a ṣawtī
And wail until my voice is cut off
89
وَقُمْتُ لَكَ حَتَّى تَتَنَشَّرَ قَدَمَايَ
waqumtu laka ḥattā tatanashhara qadamāy
And stand for You until my feet swell
90
وَرَكَعْتُ لَكَ حَتَّى يَنْخَلِعَ صُلْبِي
waraka`tu laka ḥattā yankhali`a ṣulbī
And bow to You until my backbone is dislocated
91
وَسَجَدْتُ لَكَ حَتَّى تَتَفَقَّأَ حَدَقَتَايَ
wasajadtu laka ḥattā tatafaqqa-a ḥadaqatāy
And prostrate to You until my eyeballs bulge out
92
وَأَكَلْتُ تُرَابَ الْأَرْضِ طُولَ عُمْرِي
wa-akaltu turābal ar-ḍi ṭūla `umrī
And eat the dirt of the earth all my life
93
وَشَرِبْتُ مَاءَ الرَّمَادِ آخِرَ دَهْرِي
washaribtu mā-ar ramādi-ākhira dahrī
And drink the water of ashes till the end of my days
94
وَذَكَرْتُكَ فِيْ خِلَالِ ذٰلِكَ حَتَّى يَكِلَّ لِسَانِي
wadhakar-tuka fī khilāli dhālika ḥattā yakilla lisānī
And remember You throughout all that until my tongue tires
95
ثُمَّ لَمْ أَرْفَعْ طَرْفِيْ إِلَى آفَاقِ السَّمَاءِ اسْتِحْيَاءً مِنْكَ
thumma lam ar-fa` ṭar-fī ilā-āfāqis samā-istiḥyā-an mink
Then never raise my glance to the horizons of the sky out of shame before You
96
مَا اسْتَوْجَبْتُ بِذٰلِكَ مَحْوَ سَيِّئَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِي
mastawjabtu bidhālika maḥwa sayyi-atin wāḥidatin min sayyi-ātī
I would not deserve by that the erasure of a single one of my evil deeds
97
وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَغْفِرُ لِيْ حِيْنَ أَسْتَوْجِبُ مَغْفِرَتَكَ
wa-in kunta taghfiru lī ḥīna astawjibu maghfiratak
And if You forgive me when I deserve Your forgiveness
98
وَتَعْفُوْ عَنِّيْ حِيْنَ أَسْتَحِقُّ عَفْوَكَ
wata`fū `annī ḥīna astaḥiqqu `afwak
And pardon me when I merit Your pardon
99
فَإِنَّ ذٰلِكَ غَيْرُ وَاجِبٍ لِيْ بِاسْتِحْقَاقٍ
fa-inna dhālika ghayru wājibin lī bistiḥqāq
That would not be because I deserve it by right
100
وَلَا أَنَا أَهْلٌ لَهُ بِاسْتِيجَابٍ
walā ana ahlun lahu bistījāb
Nor am I worthy of it by merit
101
إِذْ كَانَ جَزَائِيْ مِنْكَ فِيْ أَوَّلِ مَا عَصَيْتُكَ النَّارَ
idh kāna jazā-ī minka fī awwali mā `aṣaytukan nār
For my recompense from You, from the first of my disobedience, was the Fire
102
فَإِنْ تُعَذِّبْنِيْ فَأَنْتَ غَيْرُ ظَالِمٍ لِي
fa-in tu`adhhibnī fa-anta ghayru ẓālimin lī
So if You punish me, You are not unjust to me
103
إِلَهِيْ فَإِذْ قَدْ تَغَمَّدْتَنِيْ بِسِتْرِكَ فَلَمْ تَفْضَحْنِي
ilahī fa-idh qad taghammadtanī bisitrika falam tafḍaḥnī
My God, since You have covered me with Your veil and not exposed me
104
وَتَأَنَّيْتَنِيْ بِكَرَمِكَ فَلَمْ تُعَاجِلْنِي
wata-annaytanī bikaramika falam tu`ājilnī
And been patient with me through Your generosity and not hastened my punishment
105
وَحَلُمْتَ عَنِّيْ بِتَفَضُّلِكَ فَلَمْ تُغَيِّرْ نِعْمَتَكَ عَلَيَّ
waḥalumta `annī bitafaḍḍulika falam tughayyir ni`mataka `alayy
And shown clemency toward me through Your favor and not changed Your blessing upon me
106
وَلَمْ تُكَدِّرْ مَعْرُوفَكَ عِنْدِي
walam tukaddir ma`rūfaka `indī
And not sullied Your goodness toward me
107
فَارْحَمْ طُولَ تَضَرُّعِيْ وَشِدَّةَ مَسْكَنَتِيْ وَسُوءَ مَوْقِفِي
far-ḥam ṭūla taḍarru`ī washiddata maskanatī wasū-a mawqifī
Have mercy on my prolonged beseeching, intense neediness, and wretched position
108
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālih
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family
109
وَقِنِيْ مِنَ الْمَعَاصِي
waqinī minal ma`āṣī
And protect me from sins
110
وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِيْ بِالطَّاعَةِ
wasta`milnī bilṭṭā`ah
And employ me in obedience
111
وَارْزُقْنِيْ حُسْنَ الْإِنَابَةِ
war-zuqnī ḥusnal inābah
And grant me goodly repentance
112
وَطَهِّرْنِيْ بِالتَّوْبَةِ
waṭahhir-nī bittawbah
And purify me through penitence
113
وَأَيِّدْنِيْ بِالْعِصْمَةِ
wa-ayyidnī bil `iṣmah
And support me with infallibility
114
وَاسْتَصْلِحْنِيْ بِالْعَافِيَةِ
wastaṣliḥnī bil `āfiyah
And correct me with well-being
115
وَأَذِقْنِيْ حَلَاوَةَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ
wa-adhiqnī ḥalāwatal maghfirah
And let me taste the sweetness of forgiveness
116
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ طَلِيقَ عَفْوِكَ
waj`alnī ṭalīqa `afwik
And make me one freed by Your pardon
117
وَعَتِيقَ رَحْمَتِكَ
wa`atīqa raḥmatik
And one emancipated by Your mercy
118
وَاكْتُبْ لِيْ أَمَانًا مِنْ سُخْطِكَ
waktub lī amānan min sukhṭik
And write for me security from Your wrath
119
وَبَشِّرْنِيْ بِذٰلِكَ فِيْ الْعَاجِلِ دُوْنَ الْآجِلِ
wabashhir-nī bidhālika fil `ājili dūnal-ājil
And give me glad tidings of that in this world, not in the hereafter
120
بُشْرَى أَعْرِفُهَا
bushrā a`rifuhā
Glad tidings I can recognize
121
وَعَرِّفْنِيْ فِيهِ عَلَامَةً أَتَبَيَّنُهَا
wa`arrifnī fīhi `alāmatan atabayyanuhā
And make known to me a sign of it that I can clearly see
122
إِنَّ ذٰلِكَ لَا يَضِيقُ عَلَيْكَ فِيْ وُسْعِكَ
inna dhālika lā yaḍīqu `alayka fī wus`ik
Surely that is not difficult for You in Your vastness
123
وَلَا يَتَكَأَّدُكَ فِيْ قُدْرَتِكَ
walā yataka-aduka fī qudratik
And is not taxing on Your power
124
وَلَا يَتَصَعَّدُكَ فِيْ أَنَاتِكَ
walā yataṣa``aduka fī anātik
And is not hard on Your patience
125
وَلَا يَؤُودُكَ فِيْ جَزِيلِ هِبَاتِكَ الَّتِيْ دَلَّتْ عَلَيْهَا آيَاتُكَ
walā ya-ūduka fī jazīli hibātikal latī dallat `alayhā-āyātuk
And does not burden You in Your abundant gifts that Your signs have indicated
126
إِنَّكَ تَفْعَلُ مَا تَشَاءُ
innaka taf`alu mā tashā
Verily, You do whatever You will
127
وَتَحْكُمُ مَا تُرِيدُ
wataḥkumu mā turīd
And You decree what You desire
128
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
innaka `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
Indeed, You have power over all things
