بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللَّهُمَّ وَأَتْبَاعُ الرُّسُلِ وَمُصَدِّقُوهُمْ
allāhumma wa-atbā`ur rusuli wamuṣaddiqūhum
O Allah, and the followers of the messengers and those who believed in them
2
مِنْ أَهْلِ الَارْضِ بِالْغَيْبِ عِنْدَ مُعَارَضَةِ الْمُعَانِدِيْنَ لَهُمْ
min ahlil ar-ḍi bil ghaybi `inda mu`āraḍatil mu`ānidīna lahum
From among the people of the earth in the unseen, when confronted by those who opposed them
3
بِالتَّكْذِيبِ وَالْإِشْتِيَاقِ إِلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ بِحَقَائِقِ الَايْمَانِ
bittakdhībi wal-ishtiyāqi ilal mur-salīna biḥaqā-iqil aymān
With denial, and those who yearned for the messengers with true faith

فِيْ كُلِّ دَهْرٍ وَزَمَانٍ أَرْسَلْتَ فِيهِ رَسُولًا، وَأَقَمْتَ لِأَهْلِهِ دَلِيْلًا
fī kulli dahrin wazamānin ar-salta fīhi rasūlā, wa-aqamta li-ahlihi dalīlā
In every era and time in which You sent a messenger, and established for its people a guide
5
مِنْ لَدُنْ آدَمَ إِلَى مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ مِنْ أَئِمَّةِ الْهُدَى
min ladun-ādama ilā muḥammadin ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālihi min a-immatil hudā
From the time of Adam to Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, from among the Imams of guidance
6
وَقَادَةِ أَهْلِ التُّقَى عَلَى جَمِيْعِهِمُ السَّلاَمُ
waqādati ahlit tuqā `alā jamī`ihimus salām
And the leaders of the pious, peace be upon all of them
7
فَاذْكُرْهُمْ مِنْكَ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَرِضْوَانٍ
fadhkur-hum minka bimaghfiratin wariḍwān
So remember them with Your forgiveness and pleasure
8
اَللَّهُمَّ وَأَصْحَابُ مُحَمَّدٍ خَاصَّةً الَّذِيْنَ أَحْسَنُوْا الصَّحَابَةَ
allāhumma wa-aṣ-ḥābu muḥammadin khāṣṣatanil ladhīna aḥsanuṣ ṣaḥābah
O Allah, and especially the companions of Muhammad who excelled in companionship
9
وَالَّذِيْنَ أَبْلُوْا الْبَلاَءَ الْحَسَنَ فِيْ نَصْرِهِ
walladhīna ablul balā-al ḥasana fī naṣrih
And those who offered excellent assistance in supporting him
10
وَكَانَفُوهُ وَأَسْرَعُوْا إِلَى وِفَادَتِهِ وَسَابَقُوْا إِلَى دَعْوَتِهِ
wakānafūhu wa-asra`ū ilā wifādatihi wasābaqū ilā da`watih
And surrounded him, and hastened to his delegation, and raced to his call
11
وَاسْتَجَابُوْا لَهُ حَيْثُ أَسْمَعَهُمْ حُجَّةَ رِسَالَاتِهِ
wastajābū lahu ḥaythu asma`ahum ḥujjata risālātih
And responded to him when he made them hear the proof of his message
12
وَفَارَقُوْا الْأَزْوَاجَ وَالْأَوْلاَدَ فِيْ إِظْهَارِ كَلِمَتِهِ
wafāraqul azwāja wal-awlāda fī iẓhāri kalimatih
And separated from their spouses and children to uphold his message
13
وَقَاتَلُوْا الْآبَاءَ وَالْأَبْنَاءَ فِيْ تَثْبِيْتِ نُبُوَّتِهِ
waqātalul-ābā-a wal-abnā-a fī tathbīti nubuwwatih
And fought against their fathers and sons to establish his prophethood
14
وَانْتَصَرُوْا بِهِ وَمَنْ كَانُوْا مُنْطَوِينَ عَلَى
wantaṣarū bihi waman kānū munṭawīna `alā
And they were victorious with him, and they were filled with
15
مَحَبَّتِهِ يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَنْ تَبُورَ فِيْ مَوَدَّتِهِ
maḥabbatihi yar-jūna tijāratan lan tabūra fī mawaddatih
His love, hoping for a trade that will never perish in his affection
16
وَالَّذِيْنَ هَجَرَتْهُمُ الْعَشَائِرُ إِذْ تَعَلَّقُوْا بِعُرْوَتِهِ
walladhīna hajarat-humul `ashā-iru idh ta`allaqū bi`ur-watih
And those whose tribes abandoned them when they clung to his faith
17
وَانْتَفَتْ مِنْهُمُ الْقَرَابَاتُ إِذْ سَكَنُوْا فِيْ ظِلِّ قَرَابَتِهِ
wantafat minhumul qarābātu idh sakanū fī ẓilli qarābatih
And their relatives disowned them when they dwelled in the shade of his kinship
18
فَلَا تَنْسَ لَهُمُ اللَّهُمَّ مَا تَرَكُوْا لَكَ وَفِيكَ
falā tansa lahumullāhumma mā tarakū laka wafīk
So do not forget, O Allah, what they left for You and in Your cause
19
وَأَرْضِهِمْ مِنْ رِضْوَانِكَ وَبِمَا حَاشُوْا الْخَلْقَ عَلَيْكَ
wa-ar-ḍihim min riḍwānika wabimā ḥāshul khalqa `alayk
And please them with Your pleasure for how they directed people to You
20
وَكَانُوْا مَعَ رَسُولِكَ دُعَاةً لَكَ إِلَيْكَ
wakānū ma`a rasūlika du`ātan laka ilayk
And they were with Your Messenger, calling to You
21
وَاشْكُرْهُمْ عَلَى هَجْرِهِمْ فِيكَ دِيَارَ قَوْمِهِمْ
washkur-hum `alā hajrihim fīka diyāra qawmihim
And reward them for abandoning their people's homes for Your sake
22
وَخُرُوجِهِمْ مِنْ سَعَةِ الْمَعَاشِ إِلَى ضِيقِهِ
wakhurūjihim min sa`atil ma`āshi ilā ḍīqih
And for leaving a life of comfort for hardship
23
وَمَنْ كَثَّرْتَ فِيْ إِعْزَازِ دِينِكَ مِنْ مَظْلُومِهِمْ
waman kathhar-ta fī i`zāzi dīnika min maẓlūmihim
And for how many of them were oppressed in strengthening Your religion
24
اَللَّهُمَّ وَأَوْصِلْ إِلَى التَّابِعِينَ لَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ، اَلَّذِيْنَ يَقُولُونَ
allāhumma wa-awṣil ilat tābi`īna lahum bi-iḥsān, alladhīna yaqūlūn
O Allah, and extend to those who followed them in goodness, those who say
25
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلْإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِيْنَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيْمَانِ خَيْرَ جَزَائِكَ
rabbanaghfir lanā wal-ikhwāninal ladhīna sabaqūnā bil īmāni khayra jazā-ik
"Our Lord, forgive us and our brethren who preceded us in faith," the best of Your rewards
26
اَلَّذِيْنَ قَصَدُوْا سَمْتَهُمْ، وَتَحَرُّوْا وَجْهَتَهُمْ، وَمَضُوْا عَلَى شَاكِلَتِهِمْ
al ladhīna qaṣadū samtahum, wataḥarrū wajhatahum, wamaḍū `alā shākilatihim
Those who sought their path, pursued their direction, and followed their way
27
لَمْ يَثْنِهِمْ رَيْبٌ فِيْ بَصِيرَتِهِمْ، وَلَمْ يَخْتَلِجْهُمْ شَكٌّ
lam yathnihim raybun fī baṣīratihim, walam yakhtalijhum shakk
No doubt hindered their insight, and no suspicion confused them
28
فِيْ قَفْوِ آثَارِهِمْ وَالْإِئْتِمَامِ بِهِدَايَةِ مَنَارِهِمْ
fī qafwi-āthārihim wal-i-timāmi bihidāyati manārihim
In following their footsteps and being guided by the light of their guidance
29
مُكَانِفِينَ وَمُوَازِرِينَ لَهُمْ، يَدِينُونَ بِدِينِهِمْ، وَيَهْتَدُوْنَ بِهَدْيِهِمْ
mukānifīna wamuwāzirīna lahum, yadīnūna bidīnihim, wayahtadūna bihadyihim
Supporting and assisting them, following their religion, and being guided by their guidance
30
يَتَّفِقُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَلَا يَتَّهِمُوْنَهُمْ فِيمَا أَدُّوْا إِلَيْهِمْ
yattafiqūna `alayhim, walā yattahimūnahum fīmā addū ilayhim
Agreeing with them, and not suspecting what they conveyed to them
31
اَللَّهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلَى التَّابِعِينَ مِنْ يَوْمِنَا هَذَا إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
allāhumma waṣalli `alat tābi`īna min yawminā hadhā ilā yawmid dīn
O Allah, send blessings upon the followers from this day of ours until the Day of Judgment
32
وَعَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِمْ، وَعَلَى ذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ
wa`alā azwājihim, wa`alā dhurriyyātihim
And upon their spouses, and upon their descendants
33
وَعَلَى مَنْ أَطَاعَكَ مِنْهُمْ صَلاَةً تَعْصِمُهُمْ بِهَا مِنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ
wa`alā man aṭā`aka minhum ṣalātan ta`ṣimuhum bihā min ma`ṣiyatik
And upon those among them who obey You, blessings that protect them from disobeying You
34
وَتَفْسَحُ لَهُمْ فِيْ رِيَاضِ جَنَّتِكَ، وَتَمْنَعُهُمْ بِهَا مِنْ كَيْدِ الشَّيْطَانِ
watafsaḥu lahum fī riyāḍi jannatik, watamna`uhum bihā min kaydish shayṭān
And make room for them in the gardens of Your Paradise, and protect them from the plots of Satan
35
وَتُعِينُهُمْ بِهَا عَلَى مَا اسْتَعَانُوكَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ بِرٍّ
watu`īnuhum bihā `alā masta`ānūka `alayhi min birr
And help them with what they seek Your help for in righteousness
36
وَتَقِيهِمْ طَوَارِقَ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ إِلَّا طَارِقًا يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ
wataqīhim ṭawāriqal layli wan nahāri illā ṭāriqan yaṭruqu bikhayr
And guard them from the incidents of night and day except for that which brings good
37
وَتَبْعَثُهُمْ بِهَا عَلَى اعْتِقَادِ حُسْنِ الرَّجَاءِ لَكَ
watab`athuhum bihā `ala`tiqādi ḥusnir rajā-i lak
And inspire them to have good hope in You
38
وَالطَّمَعِ فِيمَا عِنْدَكَ، وَتَرْكِ التُّهَمَةِ فِيمَا تَحْوِيهِ
waṭ ṭama`i fīmā `indak, watar-kit tuhamati fīmā taḥwīh
And to desire what is with You, and to abandon suspicion in what is in
39
أَيْدِيْ الْعِبَادِ لِتَرُدَّهُمْ إِلَى الرَّغْبَةِ إِلَيْكَ وَالرَّهْبَةِ مِنْكَ
aydil `ibādi litaruddahum ilar raghbati ilayka war rahbati mink
The hands of the servants, to return them to desire for You and fear of You
40
وَتُزَهِّدَهُمْ فِيْ سَعَةِ الْعَاجِلِ وَتُحَبِّبَ إِلَيْهِمُ
watuzahhidahum fī sa`atil `ājili watuḥabbiba ilayhim
And make them disinterested in the abundance of this world and make beloved to them
41
اَلْعَمَلَ لِلْآجِلِ، وَالْإِسْتِعْدَادَ لِمَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَتُهَوِّنَ عَلَيْهِمْ
al `amala lil-ājil, wal-isti`dāda limā ba`dal mawti watuhawwina `alayhim
Working for the hereafter, and preparing for what comes after death, and make easy for them
42
كُلَّ كَرْبٍ يَحُلُّ بِهِمْ يَوْمَ خُرُوجِ الْأَنْفُسِ مِنْ أَبْدَانِهَا
kulla kar-bin yaḥullu bihim yawma khurūjil anfusi min abdānihā
Every difficulty that befalls them on the day when souls depart from their bodies
43
وَتُعَافِيَهُمْ مِمَّا تَقَعُ بِهِ الْفِتْنَةُ مِنْ مَحْذُورَاتِهَا
watu`āfiyahum mimmā taqa`u bihil fitnatu min maḥdhūrātihā
And protect them from the trials that lead to forbidden things
44
وَكَبَّةِ النَّارِ وَطُولِ الْخُلُودِ فِيهَا
wakabbatin nāri waṭūlil khulūdi fīhā
And from the intensity of the Fire and the lengthy eternity therein
45
وَتُصَيِّرَهُمْ إِلَى أَمْنٍ مِنْ مَقِيلِ الْمُتَّقِينَ
watuṣayyirahum ilā amnin min maqīlil muttaqīn
And deliver them to the security of the resting place of the pious
