اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ كَمَالَ دِينِهِ
al ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī ja`ala kamāla dīnih
Praise be to Allah who made the perfection of His religion

وَتَمَامَ نِعْمَتِهِ
watamāma ni`matih
and the completion of His favor

بِوِلَايَةِ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤمِنِيْنَ
biwilāyati amīril mu-minīn
through the guardianship of the Commander of the Faithful
4
عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِيْ طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ
`aliyyibni abī ṭālibin `alayhis salām
Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him
