اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O' Allāh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
اَللّٰهُمَّ يَا أَجْوَدَ مَنْ أَعْطىٰ
allāhumma yā ajwada man a`ṭā
O Allah, O He Who is the most magnanimous of all those who may grant!
وَيَا خَيْرَ مَنْ سُئِلَ
wayā khayra man su-il
O He Who is the best of all those who are asked!
وَيَا أَرْحَمَ مَنِ اسْتُرْحِمَ
wayā ar-ḥama manistur-ḥim
O He Who is the most Merciful of all those whose mercy may be sought!
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ فِيْ الْأَوَّلِينَ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi fil awwalīn
O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the foremost generations,
وَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ فِيْ الْآخِرِينَ
waṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi fil-ākhirīn
send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the last generations,
وَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ فِيْ الْمَلَاَ الْأَعْلٰى
waṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi fil mala-al a`lā
send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Highest Chiefs,
وَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ فِيْ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
waṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa ālihi fil mur-salīn
and send blessings to Muhammad and his Household among the Messengers.
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّدًا وَ آلَهُ
allāhumma a`ṭi muḥammadan wa ālah
O Allah, (please) grant Muhammad and his Household
اَلْوَسِيْلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ
al wasīlata walfaḍīlah
the right of mediation, preference,
وَالشَّرَفَ وَالرِّفْعَةَ
wash sharafa war rif`ah
honor, loftiness,
وَالدَّرَجَةَ الْكَبِيرَةَ
wad darajatal kabīrah
and the grand rank.
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma innī-āmantu bimuḥammad
O Allah, I believed in Muhammad,
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَلَمْ أَرَهُ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālihi walam arah
may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him;
فَلَا تَحْرِمْنِيْ فِيْ الْقِيَامَةِ رُؤْيَتَهُ
falā taḥrimnī fil qiyāmati ru-yatah
so, do not deprive me of seeing him on the Resurrection Day,
وَارْزُقْنِيْ صُحْبَتَهُ
war-zuqnī ṣuḥbatah
confer upon me with the favor of accompanying him,
وَتَوَفَّنِيْ عَلٰى مِلَّتِهِ
watawaffanī `alā millatih
cause me to die while I follow his creed,
وَاسْقِنِيْ مِنْ حَوْضِهِ
wasqinī min ḥawḍih
and allow me to drink from his Pool
مَشْرَبًا رَوِيًّا
mashraban rawiyyā
a drink that is quenching,
سَائِغًا هَنِيئًا
sā-ighan hanī-ā
palatable, and pleasant,
لَاأَظْمَأُ بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا
lā-aẓma-u ba`dahu abadā
after which I will never be thirsty.
إِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
innaka `alā kulli shay-in qadīr
Verily, You have power over all things.
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي آمَنْتُ بِمُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma innī-āmantu bimuḥammad
O Allah, I believe in Muhammad,
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَلَمْ أَرَهُ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālihi walam arah
may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household, while I have not seen him;
فَعَرِّفْنِيْ فِيْ الْجِنَانِ وَجْهَهُ
fa`arrifnī fil jināni wajhah
so, (please) show me his face in the gardens of Paradise.
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مُحَمَّدًا
allāhumma balligh muḥammadā
O Allah, convey to Muhammad,
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
may Allah’s blessings be upon him and his Household,
مِنِّي تَحِيَّةً كَثِيرَةً وَسَلامًا
minnī taḥiyyatan kathīratan wasalāmā
many greetings and compliments from me.
