بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
إِلٰهِيْ تَعَرَّضَ لَكَ فِيْ هٰذَا اللَّيْلِ الْمُتَعَرِّضُونَ
ilāhī ta`arraḍa laka fī hādhal laylil muta`arriḍūn
My God, in this night those who seek You have come forward
2
وَقَصَدَكَ الْقَاصِدُونَ
waqaṣadakal qāṣidūn
And those with intentions have set their aims toward You
3
وَأَمَّلَ فَضْلَكَ وَمَعْرُوفَكَ الطَّالِبُونَ
wa-ammala faḍlaka wama`rūfakaṭ ṭālibūn
And those who seek have hoped for Your grace and kindness
4
وَلَكَ فِيْ هٰذَا اللَّيْلِ نَفَحَاتٌ وَجَوَائِزُ
walaka fī hādhal layli nafaḥātun wajawā-iz
And for You in this night are gifts and prizes
5
وَعَطَايَا وَمَوَاهِبُ
wa`aṭāyā wamawāhib
And presents and grants
6
تَمُنُّ بِهَا عَلٰى مَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ
tamunnu bihā `alā man tashā-u min `ibādik
Which You bestow upon whomever You wish from Your servants
7
وَتَمْنَعُهَا مَنْ لَمْ تَسْبِقْ لَهُ الْعِنَايَةُ مِنْكَ
watamna`uhā man lam tasbiq lahul `ināyatu mink
And You withhold from those who have not received Your prior care
8
وَهَا أَنَا ذَا عُبَيْدُكَ الْفَقِيرُ إِلَيْكَ
wahā ana dhā `ubaydukal faqīru ilayk
And here I am, Your humble servant, in need of You
9
اَلْمُؤَمِّلُ فَضْلَكَ وَمَعْرُوفَكَ
al mu-ammilu faḍlaka wama`rūfak
Hoping for Your grace and kindness
10
فَإِنْ كُنْتَ يَا مَوْلَايَ تَفَضَّلْتَ فِيْ هٰذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ عَلٰى أَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
fa-in kunta yā mawlāya tafaḍḍalta fī hādhihil laylati `alā aḥadin min khalqik
If You, O my Master, have bestowed favor in this night upon anyone of Your creation
11
وَعُدْتَ عَلَيْهِ بِعَائِدَةٍ مِنْ عَطْفِكَ
wa`udta `alayhi bi`ā-idatin min `aṭfik
And granted them a portion of Your kindness
12
فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
faṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
Then send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
13
اَلطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ الْخَيِّرِينَ الْفَاضِلِينَ
aṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīnal khayyirīnal fāḍilīn
The good, the pure, the virtuous, the excellent
14
وَجُدْ عَلَيَّ بِطَوْلِكَ وَمَعْرُوفِكَ
wajud `alayya biṭawlika wama`rūfik
And be generous to me with Your bounty and kindness
15
يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
yā rabbal `ālamīn
O Lord of the worlds
16
وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ
waṣallallāhu `alā muḥammadin khātamin nabiyyīn
And may Allah bless Muhammad, the seal of the Prophets
17
وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ
wa ālihiṭ ṭāhirīn
And his pure family
18
وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْمًا
wasallama taslīmā
And grant them abundant peace
19
إِنَّ اللّٰهَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
innallāha ḥamīdun majīd
Indeed, Allah is Praiseworthy and Glorious
20
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَدْعُوكَ كَمَا أَمَرْتَ
allāhumma innī ad`ūka kamā amar-t
O Allah, I call upon You as You have commanded
21
فَاسْتَجِبْ لِيْ كَمَا وَعَدْتَ
fastajib lī kamā wa`adt
So respond to me as You have promised
22
إِنَّكَ لَاتُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ
innaka lātukhliful mī`ād
Indeed, You never break Your promise
