اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O' Allāh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ
allāhumma antal ḥayyul qayyūm
O Allah: You are verily the Ever-living, the Self-Subsisting,
اَلْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
al `aliyyul `aẓīm
the Most High, the All-great,
اَلْخَالِقُ الرَّازِقُ
al khāliqur rāziq
the Creator, the Sustainer,
اَلْمُحْيِيْ الْمُمِيتُ
al muḥyil mumīt
the Giver of live, the Causer of death,
اَلْبَدِىءُ الْبَدِيعُ
al badī-ul badī`
the Originator, the Maker.
لَكَ الْجَلالُ
lakal jalāl
To You is the Majesty
وَلَكَ الْفَضْلُ
walakal faḍl
and to You is the favor,
وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
walakal ḥamd
and to You is all praise,
وَلَكَ الْمَنُّ
walakal mann
and to You is thanks,
وَلَكَ الْجُودُ
walakal jūd
and to You is magnanimity,
وَلَكَ الْكَرَمُ
walakal karam
and to You is generosity,
وَلَكَ الْأَمْرُ
walakal amr
and to You do belong all affairs,
وَلَكَ الْمَجْدُ
walakal majd
and to You is glory,
وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ
walakash shukr
and to You is gratitude;
وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ
waḥdaka lā sharīka lak
You are alone without having any partner with You.
يَا وَاحِدُ يَا أَحَدُ يَا صَمَدُ
yā wāḥidu yā aḥadu yā ṣamad
O the One: O the Absolute: O the Besought of all:
يَا مَنْ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
yā man lam yalid walam yūlad
O He Who neither begets nor is He begotten,
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
walam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad
and there is none like to Him.
صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
(please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad
وَاغْفِرْ لِيْ وَارْحَمْنِي
waghfir lī war-ḥamnī
and forgive me; and have mercy upon me;
وَاكْفِنِيْ مَا أَهَمَّنِي
wakfinī mā ahammanī
and relieve me from whatever has aggrieved me;
وَاقْضِ دَيْنِي
waqḍi daynī
and help me settle my debt;
وَوَسِّعْ عَلَيَّ فِيْ رِزْقِيْ
wawassi` `alayya fī rizqī
and expand my provisions;
فَإِنَّكَ فِيْ هٰذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ كُلَّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ تَفْرُقُ
fa-innaka fī hādhihil laylati kulla amrin ḥakīmin tafruq
for You, at this night, make distinct all affairs of wisdom;
وَمَنْ تَشَاءُ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ تَرْزُقُ
waman tashā-u min khalqika tar-zuq
and You grant sustenance to whomever You wish among Your creatures.
فَارْزُقْنِيْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ
far-zuqnī wa-anta khayrur rāziqīn
So, (please do) grant me sustenance and You are verily the Best of sustainers.
فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْقَائِلِينَ النَّاطِقِينَ
fa-innaka qulta wa-anta khayrul qā-ilīnan nāṭiqīn
You have said—and You are the Best of those who speak and utter—
وَ سْئَلُوْا اللّٰهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ
was-alullāha min faḍlih
“Ask Allah of His bounty.”
فَمِنْ فَضْلِكَ أَسْأَلُ
famin faḍlika as-al
I thus ask You of Your bounty;
وَ إِيَّاكَ قَصَدْتُ
wa iyyāka qaṣadt
and to You do I turn my face;
وَابْنَ نَبِيِّكَ اعْتَمَدْتُ
wabna nabiyyika`tamadt
and the intercession of Your Prophet’s son do I seek;
وَلَكَ رَجَوْتُ
walaka rajawt
and for You do I hope.
فَارْحَمْنِيْ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
far-ḥamnī yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
So, (please do) have mercy upon me; O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
