بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allāh, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O' Allāh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

اَللّٰهُمَّ بِحَقِّ لَيْلَتِنَا هٰذِهِ وَمَوْلُودِهَا
allāhumma biḥaqqi laylatinā hādhihi wamawlūdihā
O Allah: I beseech You in the name of this night and in the name of him whom was born at it
2
وَحُجَّتِكَ وَمَوْعُودِهَا
waḥujjatika wamaw`ūdihā
and in the name of Your Argument and in the name of Your promise in it,
3
اَلَّتِيْ قَرَنْتَ إِلٰى فَضْلِهَا فَضْلًا
al latī qaranta ilā faḍlihā faḍlā
the night that You have added a new merit to its many merits
4
فَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُكَ صِدْقًا وَعَدْلًا
fatammat kalimatuka ṣidqan wa`adlā
So, Your Word has been accomplished truly and fairly;
5
لَامُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ
lāmubaddila likalimātik
no one can change Your words,
6
وَلَا مُعَقِّبَ لِآيَاتِكَ
walā mu`aqqiba li-āyātik
nor obscure Your signs,
7
نُوْرُكَ الْمُتَأَلِّقُ
nūrukal muta-alliq
[He is] Your glowing Light
8
وَضِيَاؤُكَ الْمُشْرِقُ
waḍiya-ukal mushriq
and Your bring splendor
9
وَالْعَلَمُ النُّورُ فِيْ طَخْيَاءِ الدَّيْجُورِ
wal`alamun nūru fī ṭakhyā-id dayjūr
and the luminous sign in the obscurity of darkness
10
اَلْغَائِبُ الْمَسْتُورُ
al ghā-ibul mastūr
and the absent and the concealed,
11
جَلَّ مَوْلِدُهُ، وَكَرُمَ مَحْتِدُهُ
jalla mawliduh, wakaruma maḥtiduh
Lofty is his birth and noble is his lineage
12
وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ شُهَّدُهُ
walmalā-ikatu shuhhaduh
and the angels are his witnesses
13
وَاللَّهُ نَاصِرُهُ وَمُؤَيِّدُهُ
wallāhu nāṣiruhu wamu-ayyiduh
and Allah is his Supporter and Backer
14
إِذَا آنَ مِيعَادُهُ، وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ أَمْدَادُهُ
idhā-āna mī`āduh, walmalā-ikatu amdāduh
when his time comes and the angels shall be his sponsors;
15
سَيْفُ اللَّهِ الَّذِيْ لَا يَنْبُو
sayfullāhil ladhī lā yanbū
[He shall act as] the sword of Allah that shall never miss the target,
16
وَنُوْرُهُ الَّذِيْ لَايَخْبُو
wanūruhul ladhī lāyakhbū
and His light that shall never be extinguished
17
وَذُوْ الْحِلْمِ الَّذِيْ لَايَصْبُو
wadhul ḥilmil ladhī lāyaṣbū
And the forbearing person who shall never deviate the truth.
18
مَدَارُ الدَّهْرِ
madārud dahr
and the motive and reason of the course of events,
19
وَنَوَامِيسُ الْعَصْرِ
wanawāmīsul `aṣr
and the one for whom the laws of ages have been made
20
وَوُلاةُ الْأَمْرِ
wawulātul amr
and [one of] the men of authority
21
وَالْمُنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا يَتَنَزَّلُ فِيْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ
walmunazzalu `alayhim mā yatanazzalu fī laylatil qadr
who receive that which is revealed on the Grand Night.
22
وَأَصْحَابُ الْحَشْرِ وَالنَّشْرِ
wa-aṣ-ḥābul ḥashri wan nashr
and the managers of the Resurrection and the Account;
23
تَرَاجِمَةُ وَحْيِهِ
tarājimatu waḥyih
[They are] the interpreters of His revelations
24
وَوُلاةُ أَمْرِهِ وَنَهْيِهِ
wawulātu amrihi wanahyih
and in charge of what is deemed lawful and what is deemed unlawful by Him.
25
اَللّٰهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلٰى خَاتِمِهِمْ وَقَائِمِهِمُ
allāhumma faṣalli `alā khātimihim waqā-imihim
O Allah: send blessings on their seal and their Riser
26
اَلْمَسْتُورِ عَنْ عَوَالِمِهِمْ
al mastūri `an `awālimihim
whom is hidden from their world.
27
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَأَدْرِكْ بِنَا أَيَّامَهُ
allāhumma wa-adrik binā ayyāmah
O Allah: [please] make us causes for the coming of him,
28
وَظُهُورَهُ وَقِيَامَهُ
waẓuhūrahu waqiyāmah
and causes for his advent and reappearance
29
وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ أَنْصَارِهِ
waj`alnā min anṣārih
and [please] include us with his supporters
30
وَاقْرِنْ ثَارَنَا بِثَارِهِ
waqrin thāranā bithārih
and join our vengeance to his
31
وَاكْتُبْنَا فِيْ أَعْوَانِهِ وَخُلَصَائِهِ
waktubnā fī a`wānihi wakhulaṣā-ih
and decide us to be among his assistants and retinue.
32
وَأَحْيِنَا فِيْ دَوْلَتِهِ نَاعِمِيْنَ
wa-aḥyinā fī dawlatihi nā`imīn
and make us live in bliss in his reign,
33
وَبِصُحْبَتِهِ غَانِمِيْنَ
wabiṣuḥbatihi ghānimīn
and make us win the ecstasy of his companionship,
34
وَبِحَقِّهِ قَائِمِيْنَ
wabiḥaqqihi qā-imīn
and make us of those who carry out our duty toward him,
35
وَمِنَ السُّوءِ سَالِمِيْنَ
waminas sū-i sālimīn
and save us from evil.
36
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
O the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.
37
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
walḥamdu lillāhi rabbil `ālamīn
All praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
38
وَصَلَوَاتُهُ عَلٰى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
waṣalawātuhu `alā sayyidinā muḥammad
His blessings be upon our master, Muhammad
39
خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ
khātamin nabiyyīna walmur-salīn
the seal of the Prophets and the Messengers,
40
وَعَلٰى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الصَّادِقِينَ
wa`alā ahli baytihiṣ ṣādiqīn
and upon his Household, the veracious,
41
وَعِتْرَتِهِ النَّاطِقِينَ
wa`itratihin nāṭiqīn
and his offspring, the spokespersons of the truth,
42
وَالْعَنْ جَمِيعَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ
wal`an jamī`aẓ ẓālimīn
and curse all the wrongdoers
43
وَاحْكُمْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ
waḥkum baynanā wabaynahum
and judge between them and us
44
يَا أَحْكَمَ الْحَاكِمِيْنَ
yā aḥkamal ḥākimīn
O the Most Just of all judges.
