بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي إِلَيْكَ فَقِيرٌ
allāhumma innī ilayka faqīr
O Allah, indeed I am needy of You
2
وَمِنْ عَذَابِكَ خَائِفٌ مُسْتَجِيرٌ
wamin `adhābika khā-ifun mustajīr
And I am fearful of Your punishment, seeking Your protection
3
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَاتُبَدِّلْ اِسْمِيْ
allāhumma lātubaddil ismī
O Allah, do not change my name
4
وَلَا تُغَيِّرْ جِسْمِيْ
walā tughayyir jismī
And do not transform my body
5
وَلَا تَجْهَدْ بَلائِيْ
walā tajhad balā-ī
And do not intensify my afflictions
6
وَلَا تُشْمِتْ بِىْ أَعْدَائِيْ
walā tushmit bī a`dā-ī
And do not let my enemies rejoice at my misfortune
7
أَعُوذُ بِعَفْوِكَ مِنْ عِقَابِكَ
a`ūdhu bi`afwika min `iqābik
I seek refuge in Your forgiveness from Your punishment
8
وَأَعُوذُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ
wa-a`ūdhu biraḥmatika min `adhābik
And I seek refuge in Your mercy from Your torment
9
وَأَعُوذُ بِرِضَاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ
wa-a`ūdhu biriḍāka min sakhaṭik
And I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your displeasure
10
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْكَ
wa-a`ūdhu bika mink
And I seek refuge in You from You
11
جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ
jalla thana-uk
Exalted is Your praise
12
أَنْتَ كَمَا أَثْنَيْتَ عَلٰى نَفْسِكَ
anta kamā athnayta `alā nafsik
You are as You have praised Yourself
13
وَفَوْقَ مَا يَقُولُ الْقَائِلُونَ
wafawqa mā yaqūlul qā-ilūn
And above what any speaker can express
