بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
يَا اَللَّهُ يَا اَللَّهُ يَا اَللَّهُ
yā allāhu yā allāhu yā allāh
O Allah, O Allah, O Allah
2
يَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ
yā mujība da`watil muḍṭarrīn
O Answerer of the prayers of the distressed
3
يَا كَاشِفَ كُرَبِ الْمَكْرُوبِينَ
yā kāshifa kurabil makrūbīn
O Remover of the afflictions of the troubled
4
يَا غِيَاثَ الْمُسْتَغِيثِينَ
yā ghiyāthal mustaghīthīn
O Helper of those who seek help
5
يَا صَرِيخَ الْمُسْتَصْرِخِينَ
yā ṣarīkhal mustaṣrikhīn
O Responder to those who cry out
6
وَيَا مَنْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيَّ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ
wayā man huwa aqrabu ilayya min ḥablil warīd
O You who are closer to me than my jugular vein
7
وَيَا مَنْ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ
wayā man yaḥūlu baynal mar-i waqalbih
O You who intervene between a person and their heart
8
وَيَا مَنْ هُوَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْأَعْلَى وَبِالْأُفُقِ الْمُبِينِ
wayā man huwa bil manẓaril a`lā wabil ufuqil mubīn
O You who are in the highest horizon and the clear perspective
9
وَيَا مَنْ هُوَ الرَّحْمَانُ الرَّحِيمُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوٰى
wayā man huwar raḥmānur raḥīmu `alal `ar-shistawā
O You who are the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful, established on the Throne
10
وَيَا مَنْ يَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِيْ الصُّدُوْرُ
wayā man ya`lamu khā-inatal a`yuni wamā tukhfiṣ ṣudūr
O You who knows the treachery of the eyes and what the hearts conceal
11
وَيَا مَنْ لَا يَخْفىٰ عَلَيْهِ خَافِيَةٌ
wayā man lā yakhfā `alayhi khāfiyah
O You from whom nothing is hidden
12
يَا مَنْ لَاتَشْتَبِهُ عَلَيْهِ الْأَصْوَاتُ
yā man lātashtabihu `alayhil aṣwāt
O You to whom voices are not confusing
13
وَيَا مَنْ لَاتُغَلِّطُهُ الْحَاجَاتُ
wayā man lātughalliṭuhul ḥājāt
O You whom requests do not overwhelm
14
وَيَا مَنْ لَا يُبْرِمُهُ إِلْحَاحُ الْمُلِحِّينَ
wayā man lā yubrimuhu ilḥāḥul muliḥḥīn
O You who is not annoyed by the persistence of those who persist
15
يَا مُدْرِكَ كُلِّ فَوْتٍ
yā mudrika kulli fawt
O Reacher of all that is missed
16
وَيَا جَامِعَ كُلِّ شَمْلٍ
wayā jāmi`a kulli shaml
O Gatherer of all that is scattered
17
وَيَا بَارِئَ النُّفُوسِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ
wayā bāri-an nufūsi ba`dal mawt
O Creator of souls after death
18
يَا مَنْ هُوَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ فِيْ شَأْنٍ
yā man huwa kulla yawmin fī sha-n
O You who is every day engaged in a matter
19
يَا قَاضِيَ الْحَاجَاتِ
yā qāḍiyal ḥājāt
O Fulfiller of needs
20
يَا مُنَفِّسَ الْكُرُبَاتِ
yā munaffisal kurubāt
O Reliever of sorrows
21
يَا مُعْطِيَ السُّؤُلاتِ
yā mu`ṭiyas su-ulāt
O Giver of requests
22
يَا وَلِيَّ الرَّغَبَاتِ
yā waliyyar raghabāt
O Guardian of desires
23
يَا كَافِيَ الْمُهِمَّاتِ
yā kāfiyal muhimmāt
O Sufficient for all important matters
24
يَا مَنْ يَكْفِيْ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْء
yā man yakfī min kulli shay
O You who suffices for everything
25
وَلَا يَكْفِيْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ فِيْ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
walā yakfī minhu shay-un fis samāwāti wal-ar-ḍ
And nothing suffices for You in the heavens and the earth
26
أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتِمِ النَّبِيِّينَ
as-aluka biḥaqqi muḥammadin khātimin nabiyyīn
I ask You by the right of Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets
27
وَعَلِيٍّ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wa`aliyyin amīril mu-minīn
And Ali, the Commander of the Faithful
28
وَبِحَقِّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ نَبِيِّكَ
wabiḥaqqi fāṭimata binti nabiyyik
And by the right of Fatima, the daughter of Your Prophet
29
وَبِحَقِّ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ
wabiḥaqqil ḥasani walḥusayn
And by the right of Hassan and Hussein
30
فَإِنِّيْ بِهِمْ أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَيْكَ فِيْ مَقَامِيْ هٰذَا
fa-innī bihim atawajjahu ilayka fī maqāmī hādhā
For indeed I turn to You through them in this position of mine
31
وَبِهِمْ أَتَوَسَّلُ
wabihim atawassal
And through them I seek intercession
32
وَبِهِمْ أَتَشَفَّعُ إِلَيْكَ
wabihim atashaffa`u ilayk
And through them I seek Your mediation
33
وَبِحَقِّهِمْ أَسْأَلُكَ وَأُقْسِمُ وَأَعْزِمُ عَلَيْكَ
wabiḥaqqihim as-aluka wa-uqsimu wa-a`zimu `alayk
And by their right I ask You and adjure and entreat You
34
وَبِالشَّأْنِ الَّذِيْ لَهُمْ عِنْدَكَ
wabishha-nil ladhī lahum `indak
And by the status they have with You
35
وَبِالْقَدْرِ الَّذِيْ لَهُمْ عِنْدَكَ
wabil qadril ladhī lahum `indak
And by the value they have with You
36
وَبِالَّذِيْ فَضَّلْتَهُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِيْنَ
wabilladhī faḍḍaltahum `alal `ālamīn
And by that through which You preferred them over all creation
37
وَبِاسْمِكَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلْتَهُ عِنْدَهُمْ
wabismikal ladhī ja`altahu `indahum
And by Your name which You placed with them
38
وَبِهِ خَصَصْتَهُمْ دُوْنَ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
wabihi khaṣaṣtahum dūnal `ālamīn
And by which You distinguished them from all creation
39
وَبِهِ أَبَنْتَهُمْ
wabihi abantahum
And by which You made them distinct
40
وَأَبَنْتَ فَضْلَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
wa-abanta faḍlahum min faḍlil `ālamīn
And made their virtue distinct from the virtue of all creation
41
حَتَّىٰ فَاقَ فَضْلُهُمْ فَضْلَ الْعَالَمِيْنَ جَمِيعًا
ḥattā fāqa faḍluhum faḍlal `ālamīna jamī`ā
Until their virtue surpassed the virtue of all creation together
42
أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
as-aluka an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
43
وَأَنْ تَكْشِفَ عَنِّيْ غَمِّي
wa-an takshifa `annī ghammī
And to remove from me my grief
44
وَهَمِّيْ وَكَرْبِي
wahammī wakar-bī
And my worry and my distress
45
وَتَكْفِيَنِيْ الْمُهِمَّ مِنْ أُمُورِي
watakfiyanil muhimma min umūrī
And to suffice me in the important matters of my affairs
46
وَتَقْضِيَ عَنِّيْ دَيْنِي
wataqḍiya `annī daynī
And to settle my debts
47
وَتُجِيرَنِيْ مِنَ الْفَقْرِ
watujīranī minal faqr
And to protect me from poverty
48
وَتُجِيرَنِيْ مِنَ الْفَاقَةِ
watujīranī minal fāqah
And to protect me from destitution
49
وَتُغْنِيَنِيْ عَنِ الْمَسْأَلَةِ إِلَى الْمَخْلُوقِينَ
watughniyanī `anil mas-alati ilal makhlūqīn
And to make me needless of asking from created beings
50
وَتَكْفِيَنِيْ هَمَّ مَنْ أَخَافُ هَمَّهُ
watakfiyanī hamma man akhāfu hammah
And to spare me the worry of those whose worry I fear
51
وَعُسْرَ مَنْ أَخَافُ عُسْرَهُ
wa`usra man akhāfu `usrah
And the hardship of those whose hardship I fear
52
وَحُزُونَةَ مَنْ أَخَافُ حُزُونَتَهُ
waḥuzūnata man akhāfu ḥuzūnatah
And the severity of those whose severity I fear
53
وَشَرَّ مَنْ أَخَافُ شَرَّهُ
washarra man akhāfu sharrah
And the evil of those whose evil I fear
54
وَمَكْرَ مَنْ أَخَافُ مَكْرَهُ
wamakra man akhāfu makrah
And the scheming of those whose scheming I fear
55
وَبَغْيَ مَنْ أَخَافُ بَغْيَهُ
wabaghya man akhāfu baghyah
And the oppression of those whose oppression I fear
56
وَجَوْرَ مَنْ أَخَافُ جَوْرَهُ
wajawra man akhāfu jawrah
And the tyranny of those whose tyranny I fear
57
وَسُلْطَانَ مَنْ أَخَافُ سُلْطَانَهُ
wasulṭāna man akhāfu sulṭānah
And the authority of those whose authority I fear
58
وَكَيْدَ مَنْ أَخَافُ كَيْدَهُ
wakayda man akhāfu kaydah
And the plotting of those whose plotting I fear
59
وَمَقْدُرَةَ مَنْ أَخَافُ مَقْدُرَتَهُ عَلَيَّ
wamaqdurata man akhāfu maqduratahu `alayy
And the power of those whose power over me I fear
60
وَتَرُدَّ عَنِّيْ كَيْدَ الْكَيَدَةِ
watarudda `annī kaydal kayadah
And turn away from me the plots of the plotters
61
وَمَكْرَ الْمَكَرَةِ
wamakral makarah
And the scheming of the schemers
62
اَللّٰهُمَّ مَنْ أَرَادَنِيْ فَأَرِدْهُ
allāhumma man arādanī fa-arid-h
O Allah, whoever intends evil for me, intend evil for them
63
وَمَنْ كَادَنِيْ فَكِدْهُ
waman kādanī fakid-h
And whoever plans against me, plan against them
64
وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّيْ كَيْدَهُ وَمَكْرَهُ
waṣrif `annī kaydahu wamakrah
And turn away from me their plots and their scheming
65
وَبَأْسَهُ وَأَمَانِيَّهُ
waba-sahu wa-amāniyyah
And their harm and their wishes
66
وَامْنَعْهُ عَنِّيْ كَيْفَ شِئْتَ وَأَنَّىٰ شِئْتَ
wamna`hu `annī kayfa shi-ta wa-annā shi-t
And prevent them from reaching me however You will and whenever You will
67
اَللّٰهُمَّ اشْغَلْهُ عَنِّي
allāhummashghalhu `annī
O Allah, preoccupy them away from me
68
بِفَقْرٍ لَاتَجْبُرُهُ
bifaqrin lātajburuh
With poverty that You will not mend
69
وَبِبَلاءٍ لَاتَسْتُرُهُ
wabibalā-in lātasturuh
And with affliction that You will not conceal
70
وَبِفَاقَةٍ لَا تَسُدُّهَا
wabifāqatin lā tasudduhā
And with destitution that You will not fill
71
وَبِسُقْمٍ لَا تُعَافِيهِ
wabisuqmin lā tu`āfīh
And with illness that You will not cure
72
وَذُلٍّ لَاتُعِزُّهُ
wadhullin lātu`izzuh
And with humiliation that You will not honor
73
وَبِمَسْكَنَةٍ لَاتَجْبُرُهَا
wabimaskanatin lātajburuhā
And with neediness that You will not relieve
74
اَللّٰهُمَّ اضْرِبْ بِالذُّلِّ نَصْبَ عَيْنَيْهِ
allāhummaḍrib bidhhulli naṣba `aynayh
O Allah, strike with humiliation before their eyes
75
وَأَدْخِلْ عَلَيْهِ الْفَقْرَ فِيْ مَنْزِلِهِ
wa-adkhil `alayhil faqra fī manzilih
And bring poverty into their homes
76
وَالْعِلَّةَ وَالسُّقْمَ فِيْ بَدَنِهِ
wal`illata was suqma fī badanih
And illness and sickness into their bodies
77
حَتَّىٰ تَشْغَلَهُ عَنِّيْ بِشُغْلٍ شَاغِلٍ لَافَرَاغَ لَهُ
ḥattā tashghalahu `annī bishughlin shāghilin lāfarāgha lah
Until You preoccupy them from me with a preoccupation that gives them no relief
78
وَأَنْسِهِ ذِكْرِيْ كَمَا أَنْسَيْتَهُ ذِكْرَكَ
wa-ansihi dhikrī kamā ansaytahu dhikrak
And make them forget my mention as You made them forget Your mention
79
وَخُذْ عَنِّيْ بِسَمْعِهِ وَبَصَرِهِ
wakhudh `annī bisam`ihi wabaṣarih
And take from me their hearing and their sight
80
وَلِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ
walisānihi wayadih
And their tongue and their hand
81
وَرِجْلِهِ وَقَلْبِهِ
warijlihi waqalbih
And their foot and their heart
82
وَجَمِيْعِ جَوَارِحِهِ
wajamī`i jawāriḥih
And all their limbs
83
وَأَدْخِلْ عَلَيْهِ فِيْ جَمِيْعِ ذٰلِكَ السُّقْمَ
wa-adkhil `alayhi fī jamī`i dhālikas suqm
And bring upon them in all of that sickness
84
وَلَا تَشْفِهِ حَتَّىٰ تَجْعَلَ ذٰلِكَ لَهُ شُغْلًا شَاغِلًا بِهِ
walā tashfihi ḥattā taj`ala dhālika lahu shughlan shāghilan bih
And do not heal them until You make that a preoccupation for them
85
عَنِّيْ وَعَنْ ذِكْرِي
`annī wa`an dhikrī
From me and from my mention
86
وَاكْفِنِيْ يَا كَافِيَ مَا لَايَكْفِيْ سِوَاكَ
wakfinī yā kāfiya mā lāyakfī siwāk
And suffice me, O Sufficient One, with what none other than You can suffice
87
فَإِنَّكَ الْكَاْفِيْ لَاكَافِيَ سِوَاكَ
fa-innakal kafī lākāfiya siwāk
For You are the Sufficient and there is no sufficient besides You
88
وَمُفَرِّجٌ لَامُفَرِّجَ سِوَاكَ
wamufarrijun lāmufarrija siwāk
And a Reliever and there is no reliever besides You
89
وَمُغِيثٌ لَامُغِيثَ سِوَاكَ
wamughīthun lāmughītha siwāk
And a Helper and there is no helper besides You
90
وَجَارٌ لَاجَارَ سِوَاكَ
wajārun lājāra siwāk
And a Protector and there is no protector besides You
91
خَابَ مَنْ كَانَ جَارُهُ سِوَاكَ
khāba man kāna jāruhu siwāk
Failed is the one whose protector is other than You
92
وَمُغِيثُهُ سِوَاكَ
wamughīthuhu siwāk
And whose helper is other than You
93
وَمَفْزَعُهُ إِلٰى سِوَاكَ
wamafza`uhu ilā siwāk
And whose refuge is to other than You
94
وَمَهْرَبُهُ إِلٰى سِوَاكَ
wamahrabuhu ilā siwāk
And whose escape is to other than You
95
وَمَلْجَؤُهُ إِلٰى غَيْرِكَ
wamalja-uhu ilā ghayrik
And whose shelter is to other than You
96
وَمَنْجَاهُ مِنْ مَخْلُوقٍ غَيْرِكَ
wamanjāhu min makhlūqin ghayrik
And whose salvation is from a creation other than You
97
فَأَنْتَ ثِقَتِيْ وَرَجَائِي
fa-anta thiqatī warajā-ī
For You are my trust and my hope
98
وَمَفْزَعِيْ وَمَهْرَبِي
wamafza`ī wamahrabī
And my refuge and my escape
99
وَمَلْجَإِيْ وَمَنْجَايَ
wamalja-ī wamanjāy
And my shelter and my salvation
100
فَبِكَ أَسْتَفْتِحُ
fabika astaftiḥ
So with You I seek opening
101
وَبِكَ أَسْتَنْجِحُ
wabika astanjiḥ
And with You I seek success
102
وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
wabimuḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
And through Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
103
أَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَتَوَسَّلُ وَأَتَشَفَّعُ
atawajjahu ilayka wa-atawassalu wa-atashaffa`
I turn to You and seek intercession and mediation
104
فَأَسْأَلُكَ يَا اَللَّهُ يَا اَللَّهُ يَا اَللَّهُ
fa-as-aluka yā allāhu yā allāhu yā allāh
So I ask You, O Allah, O Allah, O Allah
105
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ
falakal ḥamdu walakash shukr
For to You belongs praise and to You belongs thanks
106
وَإِلَيْكَ الْمُشْتَكَىٰ وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ
wa-ilaykal mushtakā wa-antal musta`ān
And to You is the complaint and You are the One whose help is sought
107
فَأَسْأَلُكَ يَا اَللَّهُ يَا اَللَّهُ يَا اَللَّهُ
fa-as-aluka yā allāhu yā allāhu yā allāh
So I ask You, O Allah, O Allah, O Allah
108
بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
biḥaqqi muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
By the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
109
أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
an tuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
To send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
110
وَأَنْ تَكْشِفَ عَنِّيْ غَمِّيْ وَهَمِّيْ وَكَرْبِي
wa-an takshifa `annī ghammī wahammī wakar-bī
And to remove from me my grief and my worry and my distress
111
فِيْ مَقَامِيْ هٰذَا
fī maqāmī hādhā
In this position of mine
112
كَمَا كَشَفْتَ عَنْ نَبِيِّكَ هَمَّهُ وَغَمَّهُ وَكَرْبَهُ
kamā kashafta `an nabiyyika hammahu waghammahu wakar-bah
Just as You removed from Your Prophet his worry and his grief and his distress
113
وَكَفَيْتَهُ هَوْلَ عَدُوِّهِ
wakafaytahu hawla `aduwwih
And sufficed him against the terror of his enemy
114
فَاكْشِفْ عَنِّيْ كَمَا كَشَفْتَ عَنْهُ
fakshif `annī kamā kashafta `anh
So remove from me as You removed from him
115
وَفَرِّجْ عَنِّيْ كَمَا فَرَّجْتَ عَنْهُ
wafarrij `annī kamā farrajta `anh
And relieve me as You relieved him
116
وَاكْفِنِيْ كَمَا كَفَيْتَهُ
wakfinī kamā kafaytah
And suffice me as You sufficed him
117
وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّيْ هَوْلَ مَا أَخَافُ هَوْلَهُ
waṣrif `annī hawla mā akhāfu hawlah
And turn away from me the terror of what I fear its terror
118
وَمَؤُونَةَ مَا أَخَافُ مَؤُونَتَهُ
wama-ūnata mā akhāfu ma-ūnatah
And the burden of what I fear its burden
119
وَهَمَّ مَا أَخَافُ هَمَّهُ
wahamma mā akhāfu hammah
And the worry of what I fear its worry
120
بِلَا مَؤُونَةٍ عَلٰى نَفْسِيْ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ
bilā ma-ūnatin `alā nafsī min dhālik
Without any burden on myself from that
121
وَاصْرِفْنِيْ بِقَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِي
waṣrifnī biqaḍā-i ḥawā-ijī
And turn me with the fulfillment of my needs
122
وَكِفَايَةِ مَا أَهَمَّنِيْ هَمُّهُ
wakifāyati mā ahammanī hammuh
And sufficiency of what worries me with its worry
123
مِنْ أَمْرِ آخِرَتِيْ وَدُنْيَايَ
min amri-ākhiratī wadunyāy
From the affairs of my hereafter and my world
124
يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
yā amīral mu-minīn
O Commander of the Faithful
125
وَيَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
wayā abā `abdillāh
And O Abu Abdullah
126
عَلَيْكُمَا مِنِّيْ سَلامُ اللَّهِ أَبَدًا
`alaykumā minnī salāmullāhi abadā
Upon you both from me is the peace of Allah forever
127
مَا بَقِيتُ وَبَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ
mā baqītu wabaqiyal laylu wan nahār
As long as I remain and night and day remain
128
وَلَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِكُمَا
walā ja`alahullāhu-ākhiral `ahdi min ziyāratikumā
And may Allah not make this the last of my visits to you both
129
وَلَا فَرَّقَ اللَّهُ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَكُمَا
walā farraqallāhu baynī wabaynakumā
And may Allah not separate between me and you both
130
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَحْيِنِيْ حَيَاةَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ
allāhumma aḥyinī ḥayāta muḥammadin wadhurriyyatih
O Allah, grant me the life of Muhammad and his descendants
131
وَأَمِتْنِيْ مَمَاتَهُمْ
wa-amitnī mamātahum
And cause me to die their death
132
وَتَوَفَّنِيْ عَلٰى مِلَّتِهِمْ
watawaffanī `alā millatihim
And take my soul while following their religion
133
وَاحْشُرْنِيْ فِيْ زُمْرَتِهِمْ
waḥshur-nī fī zumratihim
And gather me in their company
134
وَلَا تُفَرِّقْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ
walā tufarriq baynī wabaynahum
And do not separate between me and them
135
طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ أَبَدًا
ṭar-fata `aynin abadā
For the blink of an eye, ever
136
فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
fid dunyā wal-ākhirah
In this world and the hereafter
137
يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
yā amīral mu-minīn
O Commander of the Faithful
138
وَيَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
wayā abā `abdillāh
And O Abu Abdullah
139
أَتَيْتُكُمَا زَائِرًا
ataytukumā zā-irā
I have come to you as a visitor
140
وَمُتَوَسِّلًا إِلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّيْ وَرَبِّكُمَا
wamutawassilan ilallāhi rabbī warabbikumā
And seeking intercession to Allah, my Lord and your Lord
141
وَمُتَوَجِّهًا إِلَيْهِ بِكُمَا
wamutawajjihan ilayhi bikumā
And turning to Him through you both
142
وَمُسْتَشْفِعًا بِكُمَا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فِيْ حَاجَتِيْ هٰذِهِ
wamustashfi`an bikumā ilallāhi ta`ālā fī ḥājatī hādhih
And seeking your mediation to Allah the Exalted in this need of mine
143
فَاشْفَعَا لِي
fashfa`ā lī
So intercede for me
144
فَإِنَّ لَكُمَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْمَقَامَ الْمَحْمُودَ
fa-inna lakumā `indallāhil maqāmal maḥmūd
For indeed you both have with Allah the praiseworthy station
145
وَالْجَاهَ الْوَجِيهَ
waljāhal wajīh
And the esteemed position
146
وَالْمَنْزِلَ الرَّفِيعَ وَالْوَسِيْلَةَ
walmanzilar rafī`a walwasīlah
And the lofty rank and the means
147
إِنِّيْ أَنْقَلِبُ عَنْكُمَا
innī anqalibu `ankumā
I now depart from you both
148
مُنْتَظِرًا لِتَنَجُّزِ الْحَاجَةِ
muntaẓiran litanajjuzil ḥājah
Awaiting the fulfillment of my need
149
وَقَضَائِهَا وَنَجَاحِهَا مِنَ اللَّهِ
waqaḍā-ihā wanajāḥihā minallāh
And its satisfaction and its success from Allah
150
بِشَفَاعَتِكُمَا لِيْ إِلَى اللَّهِ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ
bishafā`atikumā lī ilallāhi fī dhālik
Through your intercession for me to Allah in that
151
فَلَا أَخِيبُ
falā akhīb
So I shall not be disappointed
152
وَلَا يَكونُ مُنْقَلَبِيْ مُنْقَلَبًا خَائِبًا خَاسِرًا
walā yakunu munqalabī munqalaban khā-iban khāsirā
And my departure shall not be a disappointed, losing departure
153
بَلْ يَكُونُ مُنْقَلَبِيْ مُنْقَلَبًا رَاجِحًا
bal yakūnu munqalabī munqalaban rājiḥā
Rather may my departure be a successful departure
154
مُفْلِحًا مُنْجِحًا مُسْتَجَابًا
mufliḥan munjiḥan mustajābā
Prosperous, successful, answered
155
بِقَضَاءِ جَمِيْعِ حَوَائِجِي
biqaḍā-i jamī`i ḥawā-ijī
With the fulfillment of all my needs
156
وَتَشَفَّعَا لِيْ إِلَى اللَّهِ
watashaffa`ā lī ilallāh
And intercede for me to Allah
157
اِنْقَلَبْتُ عَلٰى مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ
inqalabtu `alā mā shā-allāh
I depart upon whatever Allah wills
158
وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
walā ḥawla walā quwwata illā billāh
And there is no power and no strength except with Allah
159
مُفَوِّضًا أَمْرِيْ إِلَى اللَّهِ
mufawwiḍan amrī ilallāh
Entrusting my affair to Allah
160
مُلْجِئًا ظَهْرِيْ إِلَى اللَّهِ
mulji-an ẓahrī ilallāh
Leaning my back to Allah
161
مُتَوَكِّلًا عَلَى اللَّهِ
mutawakkilan `alallāh
Relying upon Allah
162
وَأَقُولُ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَكَفىٰ
wa-aqūlu ḥasbiyallāhu wakafā
And I say: Allah is sufficient for me and enough
163
سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ دَعَا
sami`allāhu liman da`ā
Allah hears whoever calls upon Him
164
لَيْسَ لِيْ وَرَاءَ اللَّهِ
laysa lī warā-allāh
There is nothing for me beyond Allah
165
وَوَرَاءَكُمْ يَا سَادَتِيْ مُنْتَهَى
wawarā-akum yā sādatī muntahā
And beyond you, O my masters, as a destination
166
مَا شَاءَ رَبِّيْ كَانَ
mā shā-a rabbī kān
Whatever my Lord wills happens
167
وَمَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ
wamā lam yasha-lam yakun
And what He does not will does not happen
168
وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
walā ḥawla walā quwwata illā billāh
And there is no power and no strength except with Allah
169
أَسْتَوْدِعُكُمَا اللّٰهَ
astawdi`ukumallāh
I entrust you both to Allah
170
وَلَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنِّيْ إِلَيْكُمَا
walā ja`alahullāhu-ākhiral `ahdi minnī ilaykumā
And may Allah not make this the last of my visits to you both
171
اِنْصَرَفْتُ يَا سَيِّدِيْ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَمَوْلَايَ
inṣaraftu yā sayyidī yā amīral mu-minīna wamawlāy
I depart, O my master, O Commander of the Faithful and my guardian
172
وَأَنْتَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ يَا سَيِّدِي
wa-anta yā abā `abdillāhi yā sayyidī
And you, O Abu Abdullah, O my master
173
وَسَلامِيْ عَلَيْكُمَا مُتَّصِلٌ
wasalāmī `alaykumā muttaṣil
And my peace be upon you both, continuous
174
مَا اتَّصَلَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ
mattaṣalal laylu wan nahār
As long as night and day continue
175
وَاصِلٌ ذٰلِكَ إِلَيْكُمَا
wāṣilun dhālika ilaykumā
Reaching to you both
176
غَيْرُ مَحْجُوبٍ عَنْكُمَا سَلامِي
ghayru maḥjūbin `ankumā salāmī
My peace is not veiled from you both
177
إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
in shā-allāh
If Allah wills
178
وَأَسْأَلُهُ بِحَقِّكُمَا أَنْ يَشَاءَ ذٰلِكَ وَيَفْعَلَ
wa-as-aluhu biḥaqqikumā an yashā-a dhālika wayaf`al
And I ask Him by your right that He will that and do it
179
فَإِنَّهُ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
fa-innahu ḥamīdun majīd
For He is Praiseworthy, Glorious
180
اِنْقَلَبْتُ يَا سَيِّدَيَّ عَنْكُمَا
inqalabtu yā sayyidayya `ankumā
I depart, O my two masters, from you both
181
تَائِبًا حَامِدًا لِلّٰهِ
tā-iban ḥāmidan lillāh
Repentant, praising Allah
182
شَاكِرًا رَاجِيًا لِلْإِجَابَةِ
shākiran rājiyan lil-ijābah
Thankful, hoping for the answer
183
غَيْرَ آيِسٍ وَلَا قَانِطٍ
ghayra-āyisin walā qāniṭ
Not despairing or hopeless
184
آئِبًا عَائِدًا رَاجِعًا إِلٰى زِيَارَتِكُمَا
ā-iban `ā-idan rāji`an ilā ziyāratikumā
Returning, coming back, returning to visit you both
185
غَيْرَ رَاغِبٍ عَنْكُمَا وَلَا مِنْ زِيَارَتِكُمَا
ghayra rāghibin `ankumā walā min ziyāratikumā
Not turning away from you both nor from visiting you both
186
بَلْ رَاجِعٌ عَائِدٌ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
bal rāji`un `ā-idun in shā-allāh
Rather returning, coming back if Allah wills
187
وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
walā ḥawla walā quwwata illā billāh
And there is no power and no strength except with Allah
188
يَا سَادَتِيْ رَغِبْتُ إِلَيْكُمَا وَإِلٰى زِيَارَتِكُمَا
yā sādatī raghibtu ilaykumā wa-ilā ziyāratikumā
O my masters, I have turned toward you both and toward visiting you both
189
بَعْدَ أَنْ زَهِدَ فِيْكُمَا وَفِيْ زِيَارَتِكُمَا أَهْلُ الدُّنْيَا
ba`da an zahida fīkumā wafī ziyāratikumā ahlud dunyā
After the people of this world have turned away from you both and from visiting you both
190
فَلَا خَيَّبَنِيَ اللَّهُ مٰا رَجَوْتُ وَمَا أَمَّلْتُ فِيْ زِيَارَتِكُمَا
falā khayyabaniyallāhu mā rajawtu wamā ammaltu fī ziyāratikumā
So may Allah not disappoint what I hope for and what I wish for in visiting you both
191
إِنَّهُ قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبٌ
innahu qarībun mujīb
Indeed, He is Near, Responsive
