اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
as salāmu `alayka yā mawlāy
Peace be upon you, O my master
2
يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنِ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ
yā abā muḥammadinil ḥasanibna `aliyy
O Abu Muhammad Al-Hasan son of Ali
3
اَلْهَادِيْ الْمُهْتَدِي
al hādil muhtadī
The guide, the guided one
4
وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And may Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you
5
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ أَوْلِيَائِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā waliyyallāhi wabna awliyā-ih
Peace be upon you, O friend of Allah and son of His friends
6
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ حُجَجِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā ḥujjatallāhi wabna ḥujajih
Peace be upon you, O proof of Allah and son of His proofs
7
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَفِيَّ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ أَصْفِيَائِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā ṣafiyyallāhi wabna aṣfiyā-ih
Peace be upon you, O chosen one of Allah and son of His chosen ones

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيفَةَ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ خُلَفَائِهِ وَأَبَا خَلِيفَتِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā khalīfatallāhi wabna khulafā-ihi wa-abā khalīfatih
Peace be upon you, O successor of Allah and son of His successors and father of His successor
9
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna khātamin nabiyyīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the seal of the Prophets
10
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّينَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna sayyidil waṣiyyīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the master of the successors
11
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful
12
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna sayyidati nisā-il `ālamīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the leader of the women of the worlds
13
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ الْأَئِمَّةِ الْهَادِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabnal a-immatil hādīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the guiding Imams
14
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ الْأَوْصِيَاءِ الرَّاشِدِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabnal awṣiyā-ir rāshidīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the rightly guided successors
15
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عِصْمَةَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
as salāmu `alayka yā `iṣmatal muttaqīn
Peace be upon you, O protection of the pious
16
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا إِمَامَ الْفَائِزِينَ
as salāmu `alayka yā imāmal fā-izīn
Peace be upon you, O Imam of the successful ones
17
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رُكْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yā ruknal mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O pillar of the believers
18
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا فَرَجَ الْمَلْهُوفِينَ
as salāmu `alayka yā farajal malhūfīn
Peace be upon you, O relief of the distressed
19
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ الْمُنْتَجَبِينَ
as salāmu `alayka yā wārithal anbiyā-il muntajabīn
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of the chosen Prophets
20
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَازِنَ عِلْمِ وَصِيِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā khāzina `ilmi waṣiyyi rasūlillāh
Peace be upon you, O treasurer of the knowledge of the successor of Allah's Messenger
21
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الدَّاعِيْ بِحُكْمِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhad dā`ī biḥukmillāh
Peace be upon you, O caller to the judgment of Allah
22
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّاطِقُ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhan nāṭiqu bikitābillāh
Peace be upon you, O speaker with the Book of Allah
23
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ الْحُجَجِ
as salāmu `alayka yā ḥujjatal ḥujaj
Peace be upon you, O proof of all proofs
24
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا هَادِيَ الْأُمَمِ
as salāmu `alayka yā hādiyal umam
Peace be upon you, O guide of nations
25
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ النِّعَمِ
as salāmu `alayka yā waliyyan ni`am
Peace be upon you, O guardian of blessings
26
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا عَيْبَةَ الْعِلْمِ
as salāmu `alayka yā `aybatal `ilm
Peace be upon you, O repository of knowledge
27
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا سَفِينَةَ الْحِلْمِ
as salāmu `alayka yā safīnatal ḥilm
Peace be upon you, O ark of forbearance
28
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا الْإِمَامِ الْمُنْتَظَرِ
as salāmu `alayka yā abal imāmil muntaẓar
Peace be upon you, O father of the awaited Imam
29
اَلظَّاهِرَةِ لِلْعَاقِلِ حُجَّتُهُ
aẓ ẓāhirati lil`āqili ḥujjatuh
Whose proof is evident to the wise
30
وَالثَّابِتَةِ فِيْ الْيَقِينِ مَعْرِفَتُهُ
wath thābitati fil yaqīni ma`rifatuh
And whose recognition is firmly established in certainty
31
اَلْمُحْتَجَبِ عَنْ أَعْيُنِ الظَّالِمِيْنَ
al muḥtajabi `an a`yuniẓ ẓālimīn
Who is hidden from the eyes of the oppressors
32
وَالْمُغَيَّبِ عَنْ دَوْلَةِ الْفَاسِقِينَ
walmughayyabi `an dawlatil fāsiqīn
And concealed from the reign of the transgressors
33
وَالْمُعِيدِ رَبُّنَا بِهِ الْإِسْلاَمَ جَدِيدًا بَعْدَ الَانْطِمَاسِ
walmu`īdi rabbunā bihil islāma jadīdan ba`dal anṭimās
Through whom our Lord will renew Islam after it has been effaced
34
وَالْقُرْآنَ غَضًّا بَعْدَ الَانْدِرَاسِ
walqur-āna ghaḍḍan ba`dal andirās
And make the Quran fresh after it has been worn out
35
أَشْهَدُ يَامَوْلَايَ أَنَّكَ أَقَمْتَ الصَّلاةَ
ash-hadu yāmawlāya annaka aqamtaṣ ṣalāh
I bear witness, O my master, that you established prayer
36
وَ آتَيْتَ الزَّكَاةَ
wa ātaytaz zakāh
And gave the alms
37
وَأَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
wa-amar-ta bil ma`rūf
And enjoined good
38
وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
wanahayta `anil munkar
And forbade evil
39
وَدَعَوْتَ إِلٰى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ
wada`awta ilā sabīli rabbik
And called to the way of your Lord
40
بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ
bil ḥikmati walmaw`iẓatil ḥasanah
With wisdom and good advice
41
وَعَبَدْتَ اللّٰهَ مُخْلِصًا
wa`abadtallāha mukhliṣā
And worshipped Allah sincerely
42
حَتَّىٰ أَتَاكَ الْيَقِينُ
ḥattā atākal yaqīn
Until certainty came to you
43
أَسْأَلُ اللّٰهَ بِالشَّأْنِ الَّذِيْ لَكُمْ عِنْدَهُ
as-alullāha bishha-nil ladhī lakum `indah
I ask Allah, by the status you have with Him
44
أَنْ يَتَقَبَّلَ زِيَارَتِيْ لَكُمْ
an yataqabbala ziyāratī lakum
To accept my visitation to you
45
وَيَشْكُرَ سَعْيِيْ إِلَيْكُمْ
wayashkura sa`yī ilaykum
And to appreciate my endeavor toward you
46
وَيَسْتَجِيبَ دُعَائِيْ بِكُمْ
wayastajība du`ā-ī bikum
And to answer my prayers through you
47
وَيَجْعَلَنِيْ مِنْ أَنْصَارِ الْحَقِّ
wayaj`alanī min anṣāril ḥaqq
And to make me among the helpers of truth
48
وَأَتْبَاعِهِ وَأَشْيَاعِهِ
wa-atbā`ihi wa-ashyā`ih
And its followers and supporters
49
وَمَوَالِيهِ وَمُحِبِّيهِ
wamawālīhi wamuḥibbīh
And its allies and those who love it
50
وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
was salāmu `alayka waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and blessings
