1
اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ
ash-hadu an lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone with no partner
2
وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
wa ash-hadu anna muḥammadan `abduhu warasūluh
And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger
3
وَ اَنَّهُ سَيِّدُ الْاَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ
wa annahu sayyidul awwalīna wal-ākhirīn
And that he is the master of the first and the last
4
وَ اَنَّهُ سَيِّدُ الْاَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ
wa annahu sayyidul anbiyā-i walmur-salīn
And that he is the master of the prophets and messengers
5
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى اهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الَائِمَةِ الطَّيِّبِينَ
allāhumma ṣalli `alayhi wa`alahli baytihil ā-imatiṭ ṭayyibīn
O Allah, send blessings upon him and upon his pure household, the Imams

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā rasūlallāh
Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah
7
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيلَ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā khalīlallāh
Peace be upon you, O Friend of Allah
8
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā nabiyyallāh
Peace be upon you, O Prophet of Allah
9
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَفِيَّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā ṣafiyyallāh
Peace be upon you, O Chosen One of Allah
10
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَحْمَةَ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā raḥmatallāh
Peace be upon you, O Mercy of Allah
11
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خِيَرَةَ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā khiyaratallāh
Peace be upon you, O Best Selection of Allah
12
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حَبِيبَ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā ḥabīballāh
Peace be upon you, O Beloved of Allah
13
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَجِيبَ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā najīballāh
Peace be upon you, O Distinguished One of Allah
14
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ
as salāmu `alayka yā khātaman nabiyyīn
Peace be upon you, O Seal of the Prophets
15
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا سَيِّدَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
as salāmu `alayka yā sayyidal mur-salīn
Peace be upon you, O Master of the Messengers
16
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا قَائِمًا بِالْقِسْطِ
as salāmu `alayka yā qā-iman bil qisṭ
Peace be upon you, O Establisher of Justice
17
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا فَاتِحَ الْخَيْرِ
as salāmu `alayka yā fātiḥal khayr
Peace be upon you, O Opener of Goodness
18
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَعْدِنَ الوَحْيِ وَالتَّنْزِيلِ
as salāmu `alayka yā ma`dinal waḥyi wat tanzīl
Peace be upon you, O Mine of Revelation and Divine Scripture
19
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُبَلِّغًا عَنِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā muballighan `anillāh
Peace be upon you, O Conveyor from Allah
20
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا السِّرَاجُ الْمُنِيرُ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhas sirājul munīr
Peace be upon you, O Illuminating Lamp
21
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُبَشِّرُ
as salāmu `alayka yā mubashhir
Peace be upon you, O Bearer of Good News
22
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَذِيرُ
as salāmu `alayka yā nadhīr
Peace be upon you, O Warner
23
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُنْذِرُ
as salāmu `alayka yā mundhir
Peace be upon you, O Admonisher
24
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ اللَّهِ الَّذِيْ يُسْتَضَاءُ بِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā nūrallāhil ladhī yustaḍā-u bih
Peace be upon you, O Light of Allah by which illumination is sought

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى اَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
as salāmu `alayka wa`alā ahli baytikaṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīn
Peace be upon you and upon your pure and purified household
26
اَلْهَادِيْنَ الْمَهْدِيِّينَ
al hādīnal mahdiyyīn
The guides and the guided ones
27
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى جَدِّكَ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ
as salāmu `alayka wa`alā jaddika `abdil muṭṭalib
Peace be upon you and upon your grandfather Abdul Muttalib
28
وَعَلَى اَبِيكَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
wa`alā abīka `abdillāh
And upon your father Abdullah
29
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَى اُمِّكَ آمِنَةَ بِنْتِ وَهَبٍ
as salāmu `alā ummika-āminata binti wahab
Peace be upon your mother Amina daughter of Wahab
30
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَى عَمِّكَ حَمْزَةَ سَيِّدِ الشُّهَدَاءِ
as salāmu `alā `ammika ḥamzata sayyidish shuhadā
Peace be upon your uncle Hamza, the master of martyrs
31
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَى عَمِّكَ العَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ
as salāmu `alā `ammikal `abbāsibni `abdil muṭṭalib
Peace be upon your uncle Abbas son of Abdul Muttalib
32
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَى عَمِّكَ وَ كَفِيلِكَ اَبِيْ طَالِبٍ
as salāmu `alā `ammika wa kafīlika abī ṭālib
Peace be upon your uncle and guardian Abu Talib
33
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَى ابْنِ عَمِّكَ جَعْفَرٍ الطَّيَّارِ فِيْ جِنَانِ الْخُلْدِ
as salāmu `alabni `ammika ja`fariniṭ ṭayyāri fī jinānil khuld
Peace be upon your cousin Ja'far who flies in the eternal gardens
34
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ
as salāmu `alayka yā muḥammad
Peace be upon you, O Muhammad
35
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَحْمَدُ
as salāmu `alayka yā aḥmad
Peace be upon you, O Ahmad
36
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْاَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ
as salāmu `alayka yā ḥujjatallāhi `alal awwalīna wal-ākhirīn
Peace be upon you, O Proof of Allah over the first and the last
37
وَالسَّابِقَ إِلَى طَاعَةِ رَبِّ العَالَمِيْنَ
was sābiqa ilā ṭā`ati rabbil `ālamīn
And the foremost in obedience to the Lord of the Worlds
38
وَالْمُهَيْمِنَ عَلَى رُسُلِهِ
walmuhaymina `alā rusulih
And the guardian over His messengers
39
وَالْخَاتِمَ لِأَنْبِيَائِهِ
walkhātima li-anbiyā-ih
And the seal of His prophets
40
وَالشَّاهِدَ عَلَى خَلْقِهِ
wash shāhida `alā khalqih
And the witness over His creation
41
وَالشَّفِيعَ إِلَيْهِ
wash shafī`a ilayh
And the intercessor to Him
42
وَالْمَكِينَ لَدَيْهِ
walmakīna ladayh
And the one of high rank before Him
43
وَالْمُطَاعَ فِيْ مَلَكُوتِهِ
walmuṭā`a fī malakūtih
And the one obeyed in His kingdom
44
اَلْاَحْمَدَ مِنَ الَاوْصَافِ
al aḥmada minal awṣāf
The most praiseworthy among descriptions
45
اَلمُحَمَّدَ لِسَائِرِ الَاشْرَافِ
al muḥammada lisā-iril ashrāf
The most honored among all noble ones
46
اَلكَرِيمَ عِنْدَ الرَّبِّ
al karīma `indar rabb
The honored one in the presence of the Lord
47
وَ الْمُكَلَّمَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحُجُبِ
wal mukallama min warā-il ḥujub
And the one spoken to from behind the veils
48
اَلفَائِزَ بِالسِّبَاقِ
al fā-iza bissibāq
The winner of the race
49
وَ الْفَائِتَ عَنِ اللِّحَاقِ
wal fā-ita `anil liḥāq
And the one beyond reach
50
تَسْلِيمَ عَارِفٍ بِحَقِّكَ
taslīma `ārifin biḥaqqik
I send greetings as one who recognizes your rights
51
مُعْتَرِفٍ بِالتَّقْصِيرِ فِيْ قِيَامِهِ بِوَاجِبِكَ
mu`tarifin bittaqṣīri fī qiyāmihi biwājibik
Acknowledging the shortcomings in fulfilling your due
52
غَيْرِ مُنْكِرٍ مَا انْتَهَىٰ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
ghayri munkirin mantahā ilayhi min faḍlik
Not denying what has reached me of your virtue
53
مُوْقِنٍ بِالْمَزِيدَاتِ مِنْ رَبِّكَ
mūqinin bil mazīdāti min rabbik
Certain of the increasing bounties from your Lord
54
مُؤْمِنٍ بِالكِتَابِ الْمُنْزَلِ عَلَيْكَ
mu-minin bilkitābil munzali `alayk
Believing in the Book revealed to you
55
مُحَلِّلٍ حَلالَكَ
muḥallilin ḥalālak
Considering lawful what you made lawful
56
مُحَرِّمٍ حَرَامَكَ
muḥarrimin ḥarāmak
Considering forbidden what you made forbidden
57
اَشْهَدُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَعَ كُلِّ شَاهِدٍ
ash-hadu yā rasūlallāhi ma`a kulli shāhid
I bear witness, O Messenger of Allah, with every witness
58
وَ اتَحَمَّلُهَا عَنْ كُلِّ جَاحِدٍ
wataḥammaluhā `an kulli jāḥid
And I bear this testimony against every denier
59
اَنَّكَ قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّكَ
annaka qad ballaghta risālāti rabbik
That you conveyed the messages of your Lord
60
وَنَصَحْتَ لِأُمَّتِكَ
wanaṣaḥta li-ummatik
And you advised your nation
61
وَجَاهَدْتَ فِيْ سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ
wajāhadta fī sabīli rabbik
And you strove in the path of your Lord
62
وَصَدَعْتَ بِامْرِهِ
waṣada`ta bimrih
And you proclaimed His command
63
وَاحْتَمَلْتَ الْاَذَى فِيْ جَنْبِهِ
waḥtamaltal adhā fī janbih
And you endured hardship for His sake
64
وَدَعَوْتَ إِلَى سَبِيلِهِ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ الْجَمِيلَةِ
wada`awta ilā sabīlihi bil ḥikmati walmaw`iẓatil ḥasanatil jamīlah
And you called to His path with wisdom and beautiful preaching
65
وَادَّيْتَ الحَقَّ الَّذِيْ كَانَ عَلَيْكَ
waddaytal ḥaqqal ladhī kāna `alayk
And you fulfilled the duty that was upon you
66
وَ اَنَّكَ قَدْ رَؤُفْتَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wa annaka qad ra-ufta bil mu-minīn
And you were compassionate with the believers
67
وَغَلُظْتَ عَلَى الكَافِرِينَ
waghaluẓta `alal kāfirīn
And stern against the disbelievers
68
وَعَبَدْتَ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا حَتَّى اَتَاكَ اليَقِينُ
wa`abadtallāha mukhliṣan ḥattā atākal yaqīn
And you worshipped Allah sincerely until certainty came to you
69
فَبَلَغَ اللَّهُ بِكَ اَشْرَفَ مَحَلِّ الْمُكَرَّمِيْنَ
fabalaghallāhu bika ashrafa maḥallil mukarramīn
So Allah elevated you to the most honorable position of the honored ones
70
وَاعْلَى مَنَازِلِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
wa`lā manāzilil muqarrabīn
And the highest station of those brought near
71
وَارْفَعَ دَرَجَاتِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ حَيْثُ لَا يَلْحَقُكَ لاَحِقٌ
war-fa`a darajātil mur-salīna ḥaythu lā yalḥaquka lāḥiq
And the loftiest rank of the messengers where no one can reach you
72
وَلَا يفُوقُكَ فَائِقٌ
walā ifūquka fā-iq
And no one can surpass you
73
وَلَا يَسْبِقُكَ سَابِقٌ
walā yasbiquka sābiq
And no one can precede you
74
وَلَا يَطْمَعُ فِيْ إِدْرَاكِكَ طَامِعٌ
walā yaṭma`u fī idrākika ṭāmi`
And no one can aspire to attain your level
75
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ اسْتَنْقَذَنَا بِكَ مِنَ الْهَلَكَةِ
al ḥamdu lillāhil ladhistanqadhanā bika minal halakah
Praise be to Allah who saved us through you from destruction
76
وَهَدَانَا بِكَ مِنَ الضَّلالَةِ
wahadānā bika minaḍ ḍalālah
And guided us through you from misguidance
77
وَنَوَّرَنَا بِكَ مِنَ الظُّلْمَةِ
wanawwaranā bika minaẓ ẓulmah
And enlightened us through you from darkness
78
فَجَزَاكَ اللَّهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مِنْ مَبْعُوثٍ افْضَلَ مَا جَازَىٰ نَبِيًّا عَنْ أُمَّتِهِ
fajazākallāhu yā rasūlallāhi min mab`ūthinifḍala mā jāzā nabiyyan `an ummatih
So may Allah reward you, O Messenger of Allah, the best reward given to a prophet from his nation
79
وَرَسُولًا عَمَّنْ اَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ
warasūlan `amman ar-sala ilayh
And a messenger from those to whom he was sent
80
بِأَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَ أُمِّيْ يَا رَسُوْلَ اللَّهِ زُرْتُكَ عَارِفًا بِحَقِّكَ
bi-abī anta wa ummī yā rasūlallāhi zur-tuka `ārifan biḥaqqik
May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of Allah; I have visited you recognizing your right
81
مُقِرًّا بِفَضْلِكَ
muqirran bifaḍlik
Acknowledging your virtue
82
مُسْتَبْصِرًا بِضَلالَةِ مَنْ خَالَفَكَ وَخَالَفَ اَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ
mustabṣiran biḍalālati man khālafaka wakhālafa ahli baytik
Aware of the misguidance of those who opposed you and your household
83
عَارِفًا بِالْهُدَىٰ الَّذِيْ انْتَ عَلَيْهِ
`ārifan bil hudal ladhinta `alayh
Recognizing the guidance upon which you stand
84
بِأَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَ أُمِّيْ وَنَفْسِيْ وَ اَهْلِيْ وَمَالِيْ وَوَلَدِي
bi-abī anta wa ummī wanafsī wa ahlī wamālī wawaladī
May my father, my mother, myself, my family, my wealth, and my children be sacrificed for you
85
اَنَا اُصَلِّيْ عَلَيْكَ كَمَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ
anā uṣallī `alayka kamā ṣallallāhu `alayk
I send blessings upon you as Allah has blessed you
86
وَصَلَّى عَلَيْكَ مَلَائِكَتُهُ وَ اَنْبِيَاؤُهُ وَرُسُلُهُ
waṣallā `alayka malā-ikatuhu wa anbiya-uhu warusuluh
And as His angels, prophets, and messengers have blessed you
87
صَلَاةً مُتَتَابِعَةً وَافِرَةً مُتَوَاصِلَةً
ṣalātan mutatābi`atan wāfiratan mutawāṣilah
Blessings that are successive, abundant, and continuous
88
لَا اَنْقِطَاعَ لَهَا وَلَا اَمَدَ وَلَا اَجَلَ
lā anqiṭā`a lahā walā amada walā ajal
Without interruption, limit, or end
89
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى اَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ الطَّيِّبِيْنَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ كَمَا اَنْتُمْ اَهْلُهُ
ṣallallāhu `alayka wa`alā ahli baytikaṭ ṭayyibīnaṭ ṭāhirīna kamā antum ahluh
May Allah bless you and your pure, purified household as you deserve

اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ جَوَامِعَ صَلَوَاتِكَ
allāhummaj`al jawāmi`a ṣalawātik
O Allah, place the entirety of Your blessings
91
وَنَوَامِيَ بَرَكَاتِكَ
wanawāmiya barakātik
And the growth of Your benedictions
92
وَفَوَاضِلَ خَيْرَاتِكَ
wafawāḍila khayrātik
And the abundance of Your goodness
93
وَشَرَائِفَ تَحِيَّاتِكَ وَتَسْلِيمَاتِكَ
washarā-ifa taḥiyyātika wataslīmātik
And the nobility of Your greetings and salutations
94
وَكَرَامَاتِكَ وَرَحَمَاتِكَ
wakarāmātika waraḥamātik
And Your honors and mercies
95
وَصَلَوَاتِ مَلَائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
waṣalawāti malā-ikatikal muqarrabīn
And the blessings of Your close angels
96
وَ اَنْبِيَائِكَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
wa anbiyā-ikal mur-salīn
And Your sent prophets
97
وَ اَئِمَّتِكَ الْمُنْتَجَبِينَ
wa a-immatikal muntajabīn
And Your chosen Imams
98
وَعِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
wa`ibādikaṣ ṣāliḥīn
And Your righteous servants
99
وَ اَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالَارَضِينَ
wa ahlis samāwāti wālāraḍīn
And the people of the heavens and earths
100
وَمَنْ سَبَّحَ لَكَ يَا رَبَّ العَالَمِيْنَ
waman sabbaḥa laka yā rabbal `ālamīn
And those who glorify You, O Lord of the Worlds
101
مِنَ الَاوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ
minal āwwalīna wal-ākhirīn
From the first to the last
102
عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ
`alā muḥammadin `abdika warasūlik
Upon Muhammad, Your servant and messenger
103
وَشَاهِدِكَ وَنَبِيِّكَ
washāhidika wanabiyyik
And Your witness and prophet
104
وَنَذِيرِكَ وَ اَمِينِكَ
wanadhīrika wa amīnik
And Your warner and trustee
105
وَمَكِينِكَ وَنَجِيِّكَ
wamakīnika wanajiyyik
And Your established one and confidant
106
وَنَجِيبِكَ وَحَبِيبِكَ
wanajībika waḥabībik
And Your distinguished one and beloved
107
وَخَلِيلِكَ وَصَفِيِّكَ
wakhalīlika waṣafiyyik
And Your friend and chosen one
108
وَصَفْوَتِكَ وَخَاصَّتِكَ
waṣafwatika wakhāṣṣatik
And Your elite and special one
109
وَخَالِصَتِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ
wakhāliṣatika waraḥmatik
And Your pure one and mercy
110
وَخَيْرِ خِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
wakhayri khiyaratika min khalqik
And the best of Your chosen ones from Your creation
111
نَبِيِّ الرَّحْمَةِ
nabiyyir raḥmah
The prophet of mercy
112
وَخَازِنِ الْمَغْفِرَةِ
wakhāzinil maghfirah
And the treasurer of forgiveness
113
وَقَائِدِ الْخَيْرِ وَ البَرَكَةِ
waqā-idil khayri wal barakah
And the leader of goodness and blessing
114
وَمُنْقِذِ الْعِبَادِ مِنَ الْهَلَكَةِ بِإِذْنِكَ
wamunqidhil `ibādi minal halakati bi-idhnik
And the savior of the servants from destruction by Your permission
115
وَدَاعِيهِمْ إِلَى دِينِكَ
wadā`īhim ilā dīnik
And their caller to Your religion
116
اَلْقَيِّمِ بِامْرِكَ
al qayyimi bimrik
The upholder of Your command
117
اَوَّلِ النَّبِيِّينَ مِيثَاقًا
awwalin nabiyyīna mīthāqā
The first of the prophets in covenant
118
وَ آخِرِهِمْ مَبْعَثًا
wa ākhirihim mab`athā
And the last of them in mission
119
اَلَّذِيْ غَمَسْتَهُ فِيْ بَحْرِ الفَضِيلَةِ
al ladhī ghamastahu fī baḥril faḍīlah
The one whom You immersed in the sea of virtue
120
وَالْمَنْزِلَةِ الْجَلِيلَةِ
walmanzilatil jalīlah
And the majestic station
121
وَالدَّرَجَةِ الرَّفِيعَةِ
wad darajatir rafī`ah
And the lofty degree
122
وَالْمَرْتَبَةِ الْخَطِيرَةِ
walmar-tabatil khaṭīrah
And the important rank
123
وَاوْدَعْتَهُ الَاصْلاَبَ الطَّاهِرَةَ
wawda`tahul aṣlābaṭ ṭāhirah
And You entrusted him to pure loins
124
وَنَقَلْتَهُ مِنْهَا إِلَى الَارْحَامِ الْمُطَهَّرَةِ
wanaqaltahu minhā ilal ar-ḥāmil muṭahharah
And transferred him from these to purified wombs
125
لُطْفًا مِنْكَ لَهُ
luṭfan minka lah
Out of Your kindness to him
126
وَتَحَنُّنًا مِنْكَ عَلَيْهِ
wataḥannunan minka `alayh
And Your compassion upon him
127
إِذْ وَكَّلْتَ لِصَوْنِهِ وَحِرَاسَتِهِ
idh wakkalta liṣawnihi waḥirāsatih
When You appointed for his protection and guarding
128
وَحِفْظِهِ وَحِيَاطَتِهِ
waḥifẓihi waḥiyāṭatih
And his preservation and care
129
مِنْ قُدْرَتِكَ عَيْنًا عَاصِمَةً
min qudratika `aynan `āṣimah
From Your power, a protecting eye
130
حَجَبْتَ بِهَا عَنْهُ مَدَانِسَ العَهْرِ
ḥajabta bihā `anhu madānisal `ahr
With which You veiled him from the impurities of immorality
131
وَمَعَائِبَ السِّفَاحِ
wama`ā-ibas sifāḥ
And the defects of illicit relationships
132
حَتَّىٰ رَفَعْتَ بِهِ نَوَاظِرَ العِبَادِ
ḥattā rafa`ta bihi nawāẓiral `ibād
Until You raised through him the gaze of the servants
133
وَاحْيَيْتَ بِهِ مَيْتَ البِلادِ
waḥyayta bihi maytal bilād
And revived through him the dead lands
134
بِانْ كَشَفْتَ عَنْ نُوْرِ وِلادَتِهِ ظُلَمَ الَاسْتَارِ
bin kashafta `an nūri wilādatihi ẓulamal astār
By unveiling the light of his birth from the darkness of veils
135
وَالْبَسْتَ حَرَمَكَ بِهِ حُلَلَ الَانْوَارِ
walbasta ḥaramaka bihi ḥulalal anwār
And You clothed Your sanctuary with robes of light through him
136
اَللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا خَصَصْتَهُ بِشَرَفِ هٰذِهِ الْمَرْتَبَةِ الكَرِيمَةِ
allāhumma fakamā khaṣaṣtahu bisharafi hādhihil mar-tabatil karīmah
O Allah, as You have distinguished him with the honor of this noble rank
137
وَذُخْرِ هٰذِهِ الْمَنْقَبَةِ العَظِيمَةِ
wadhukhri hādhihil manqabatil `aẓīmah
And the treasure of this great virtue
138
صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ كَمَا وَفَىٰ بِعَهْدِكَ
ṣalli `alayhi kamā wafā bi`ahdik
Bless him as he fulfilled Your covenant
139
وَبَلَّغَ رِسَالَاتِكَ
waballagha risālātik
And delivered Your messages
140
وَقَاتَلَ اهْلَ الْجُحُودِ عَلَى تَوْحِيدِكَ
waqātalahlal juḥūdi `alā tawḥīdik
And fought the people of denial for Your unity
141
وَقَطَعَ رَحِمَ الكُفْرِ فِيْ إِعْزَازِ دِينِكَ
waqaṭa`a raḥimal kufri fī i`zāzi dīnik
And severed the ties of disbelief to strengthen Your religion
142
وَلَبِسَ ثَوْبَ البَلْوَىٰ فِيْ مُجَاهَدَةِ اعْدَائِكَ
walabisa thawbal balwā fī mujāhadati`dā-ik
And wore the garment of trial in striving against Your enemies
143
وَاوْجَبْتَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ اذَىٰ مَسَّهُ
wawjabta lahu bikullidhā massah
And You made obligatory for him, for every harm that touched him
144
اَوْ كَيْدٍ احَسَّ بِهِ
aw kaydinḥassa bih
Or plot that he sensed
145
مِنَ الفِئَةِ الَّتِيْ حَاوَلَتْ قَتْلَهُ
minal fi-atil latī ḥāwalat qatlah
From the group that attempted to kill him
146
فَضِيلَةً تَفُوقُ الفَضَائِلَ
faḍīlatan tafūqul faḍā-il
A virtue that surpasses all virtues
147
وَيَمْلِكُ بِهَا الْجَزِيْلَ مِنْ نَوَالِكَ
wayamliku bihal jazīla min nawālik
And with which he possesses the abundance of Your gifts
148
وَقَدْ اسَرَّ الْحَسْرَةَ
waqadsarral ḥasrah
And he concealed his grief
149
وَاخْفَىٰ الزَّفْرَةَ
wakhfaz zafrah
And hid his sighs
150
وَتَجَرَّعَ الغُصَّةَ
watajarra`al ghuṣṣah
And swallowed his sorrow
151
وَلَمْ يَتَخَطَّ مَا مَثَّلَ لَهُ وَحْيُكَ
walam yatakhaṭṭa mā mathhala lahu waḥyuk
And did not overstep what Your revelation outlined for him
152
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ صَلاةً تَرْضَاهَا لَهُمْ
allāhumma ṣalli `alayhi wa`alā ahli baytihi ṣalātan tar-ḍāhā lahum
O Allah, bless him and his household with blessings that please them
153
وَبَلِّغْهُمْ مِنَّا تَحِيَّةً كَثِيرَةً وَسَلاَمًا
waballigh-hum minnā taḥiyyatan kathīratan wasalāmā
And convey to them from us abundant greetings and peace
154
وَ آتِنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ فِيْ مُوَالَاتِهِمْ فَضْلًا وَإِحْسَانًا
wa ātinā min ladunka fī muwālātihim faḍlan wa-iḥsānā
And grant us from You, in our allegiance to them, favor and goodness
155
وَرَحْمَةً وَغُفْرَانًا
waraḥmatan waghufrānā
And mercy and forgiveness
156
إِنَّكَ ذُوْ الفَضْلِ العَظِيمِ
innaka dhul faḍlil `aẓīm
Indeed You are the Possessor of Great Bounty
157
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ لِنَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma innaka qulta linabiyyika muḥammad
O Allah, You said to Your Prophet Muhammad
158
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
May Allah bless him and his family
159
وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ إِذْ ظَلَمُوْا اَنْفُسَهُمْ
walaw annahum idh ẓalamū anfusahum
"And if, when they wronged themselves
160
جَاؤُوكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوْا اللَّهَ
ja-ūka fastaghfarullāh
They had come to you and asked forgiveness of Allah
161
وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ
wastaghfara lahumur rasūl
And the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them
162
لَوَجَدُوْا اللَّهَ تَوَّابًا رَحِيمًا
lawajadullāha tawwāban raḥīmā
They would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful"
163
وَلَمْ اَحْضُرْ زَمَانَ رَسُولِكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ السَّلاَمُ
walam aḥḍur zamāna rasūlika `alayhi wa ālihis salām
I was not present during the time of Your Messenger, peace be upon him and his family
164
اَللَّهُمَّ وَقَدْ زُرْتُهُ رَاغِبًا تَائِبًا مِنْ سَيِّءِ عَمَلِي
allāhumma waqad zur-tuhu rāghiban tā-iban min sayyi-i `amalī
O Allah, I have visited him, turning in repentance from my evil deeds
165
وَمُسْتَغْفِرًا لَكَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي
wamustaghfiran laka min dhunūbī
And seeking Your forgiveness for my sins
166
وَمُقِرًّا لَكَ بِهَا وَ اَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِهَا مِنِّي
wamuqirran laka bihā wa anta a`lamu bihā minnī
And acknowledging them to You, and You know them better than I do
167
وَمُتَوَجِّهًا إِلَيْكَ بِنَبِيِّكَ نَبِيِّ الرَّحْمَةِ
wamutawajjihan ilayka binabiyyika nabiyyir raḥmah
And turning to You through Your Prophet, the Prophet of Mercy
168
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣalawātuka `alayhi wa ālih
Your blessings be upon him and his family
169
فَاجْعَلْنِيْ اللَّهُمَّ بِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ عِنْدَكَ وَجِيهًا
faj`alnillāhumma bimuḥammadin wa ahli baytihi `indaka wajīhā
So make me, O Allah, through Muhammad and his household, honored before You
170
فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
fid dunyā wal-ākhirati waminal muqarrabīn
In this world and the hereafter, and among those brought near
171
يَا مُحَمَّدُ
yā muḥammad
O Muhammad
172
يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
yā rasūlallāh
O Messenger of Allah
173
بِأَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَأُمِّي
bi-abī anta wa-ummī
May my father and mother be sacrificed for you
174
يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ
yā nabiyyallāh
O Prophet of Allah
175
يَا سَيِّدَ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ
yā sayyida khalqillāh
O Master of Allah's creation
176
إِنِّيْ اَتَوَجَّهُ بِكَ إِلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّكَ وَرَبِّي
innī atawajjahu bika ilallāhi rabbika warabbī
I turn through you to Allah, your Lord and my Lord
177
لِيَغْفِرَ لِيْ ذُنُوبِي
liyaghfira lī dhunūbī
That He may forgive my sins
178
وَيَتَقَبَّلَ مِنِّيْ عَمَلِي
wayataqabbala minnī `amalī
And accept my deeds
179
وَيَقْضِيَ لِيْ حَوَائِجِي
wayaqḍiya lī ḥawā-ijī
And fulfill my needs
180
فَكُنْ لِيْ شَفِيعًا عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ وَرَبِّي
fakun lī shafī`an `inda rabbika warabbī
So be an intercessor for me with your Lord and my Lord
181
فَنِعْمَ الْمَسْؤُولُ الْمَوْلَى رَبِّي
fani`mal mas-ūlul mawlā rabbī
For the best one to be asked is my Lord
182
وَنِعْمَ الشَّفِيْعُ اَنْتَ
wani`mash shafī`u ant
And the best intercessor is you
183
يَا مُحَمَّدُ
yā muḥammad
O Muhammad
184
عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى اَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ السَّلاَمُ
`alayka wa`alā ahli baytikas salām
Upon you and your household be peace
185
اَللَّهُمَّ وَ اَوْجِبْ لِيْ مِنْكَ الْمَغْفِرَةَ وَالرَّحْمَةَ
allāhumma wa awjib lī minkal maghfirata war raḥmah
O Allah, make obligatory for me from You forgiveness and mercy
186
وَالرِّزْقَ الوَاسِعَ الطَّيِّبَ النَّافِعَ
war rizqal wāsi`aṭ ṭayyiban nāfi`
And abundant, good, beneficial provision
187
كَمَا اَوْجَبْتَ لِمَنْ اَتَى نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدًا
kamā awjabta liman atā nabiyyika muḥammadā
As You made obligatory for those who came to Your Prophet Muhammad
188
صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣalawātuka `alayhi wa ālih
Your blessings be upon him and his family
189
وَهُوَ حَيٌّ فَأَقَرَّ لَهُ بِذُنُوْبِهِ
wahuwa ḥayyun fa-aqarra lahu bidhunūbih
While he was alive, and confessed their sins to him
190
وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُ رَسُولُكَ
wastaghfara lahu rasūluk
And Your Messenger asked forgiveness for them
191
عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ السَّلاَمُ
`alayhi wa ālihis salām
Peace be upon him and his family
192
فَغَفَرْتَ لَهُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
faghafar-ta lahu biraḥmatika yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
So You forgave them by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful
193
اَللَّهُمَّ وَقَدْ امَّلْتُكَ وَرَجَوْتُكَ
allāhumma waqadmmaltuka warajawtuk
O Allah, I have hoped in You and placed my trust in You
194
وَقُمْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
waqumtu bayna yadayk
And stood before You
195
وَرَغِبْتُ إِلَيْكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
waraghibtu ilayka `amman siwāk
And turned to You instead of others
196
وَقَدْ اَمَّلْتُ جَزِيْلَ ثَوَابِكَ
waqad ammaltu jazīla thawābik
And I have hoped for Your abundant reward
197
وَإِنِّيْ لَمُقِرٌّ غَيْرُ مُنْكِرٍ
wa-innī lamuqirrun ghayru munkir
And I acknowledge without denial
198
وَتَائِبٌ إِلَيْكَ مِمَّا اقْتَرَفْتُ
watā-ibun ilayka mimmaqtaraft
And repent to You from what I have committed
199
وَعَائِذٌ بِكَ فِيْ هٰذَا الْمَقَامِ
wa`ā-idhun bika fī hādhal maqām
And seek refuge in You in this place
200
مِمَّا قَدَّمْتُ مِنَ الَاعْمَالِ
mimmā qaddamtu minal a`māl
From the deeds I have done
201
اَلَّتِيْ تَقَدَّمْتَ إِلَيَّ فِيهَا وَنَهَيْتَنِيْ عَنْهَا
al latī taqaddamta ilayya fīhā wanahaytanī `anhā
Which You instructed me against and forbade me from
202
وَاوْعَدْتَ عَلَيْهَا العِقَابَ
waw`adta `alayhal `iqāb
And promised punishment for
203
وَاعُوذُ بِكَرَمِ وَجْهِكَ
wā`ūdhu bikarami wajhik
And I seek refuge in the nobility of Your Face
204
اَنْ تُقِيمَنِيْ مَقَامَ الْخِزْيِ وَالذُّلِّ
an tuqīmanī maqāmal khizyi wadh dhull
That You not place me in the position of disgrace and humiliation
205
يَوْمَ تُهْتَكُ فِيْهِ الَاسْتَارُ
yawma tuhtaku fīhil astār
On the day when veils will be torn away
206
وَتَبْدُوْ فِيْهِ الْاَسْرَارُ وَالْفَضَائِحُ
watabdū fīhil asrāru walfaḍā-iḥ
And secrets and scandals will be exposed
207
وَتَرْعَدُ فِيْهِ الفَرَائِصُ
watar-`adu fīhil farā-iṣ
And limbs will tremble
208
يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ وَالنَّدَامَةِ
yawmal ḥasrati wan nadāmah
The day of regret and remorse
209
يَوْمَ الْآفِكَةِ
yawmal-āfikah
The day of calamity
210
يَوْمَ الْآزِفَةِ
yawmal-āzifah
The day of the approaching time
211
يَوْمَ التَّغَابُنِ
yawmat taghābun
The day of mutual loss
212
يَوْمَ الفَصْلِ
yawmal faṣl
The day of judgment
213
يَوْمَ الْجَزَاءِ
yawmal jazā
The day of recompense
214
يَوْمًا كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ اَلْفَ سَنَةٍ
yawman kāna miqdāruhu khamsīna alfa sanah
A day whose measure is fifty thousand years
215
يَوْمَ النَّفْخَةِ
yawman nafkhah
The day of the trumpet blast
216
يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ
yawma tar-jufur rājifah
The day when the first blow will shake
217
تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ
tatba`uhar rādifah
Followed by the second blow
218
يَوْمَ النَّشْرِ
yawman nashr
The day of resurrection
219
يَوْمَ العَرْضِ
yawmal `ar-ḍ
The day of presentation
220
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
yawma yaqūmun nāsu lirabbil `ālamīn
The day when people will stand before the Lord of the Worlds
221
يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ الْمَرْءُ مِنْ اَخِيهِ
yawma yafirrul mar-u min akhīh
The day when a man will flee from his brother
222
وَ أُمِّهِ وَاَبِيهِ
wa ummihi wa-abīh
And his mother and his father
223
وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَبَنِيهِ
waṣāḥibatihi wabanīh
And his spouse and his children
224
يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْاَرْضُ وَاكْنَافُ السَّمَاءِ
yawma tashaqqaqul ar-ḍu waknāfus samā
The day when the earth and the sides of the sky will split
225
يَوْمَ تَأْتِيْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ تُجَادِلُ عَنْ نَفْسِهَا
yawma ta-tī kullu nafsin tujādilu `an nafsihā
The day when every soul will come arguing for itself
226
يَوْمَ يُرَدُّوْنَ إِلَى اللَّهِ فَيُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوْا
yawma yuraddūna ilallāhi fayunabbi-uhum bimā `amilū
The day when they will be returned to Allah, and He will inform them of what they did
227
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِيْ مَوْلًى عَنْ مَوْلًى شَيْئًا
yawma lā yughnī mawlan `an mawlan shay-ā
The day when no protector will avail another in anything
228
وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ
walā hum yunṣarūn
Nor will they be helped
229
إِلَّا مَنْ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ
illā man raḥimallāh
Except those whom Allah has mercy upon
230
إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيْمُ
innahu huwal `azīzur raḥīm
Indeed, He is the Mighty, the Merciful
231
يَوْمَ يُرَدُّوْنَ إِلَى عَالِمِ الغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ
yawma yuraddūna ilā `ālimil ghaybi wash shahādah
The day when they will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed
232
يَوْمَ يُرَدُّوْنَ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَوْلاَهُمُ الْحَقِّ
yawma yuraddūna ilallāhi mawlāhumul ḥaqq
The day when they will be returned to Allah, their true Lord
233
يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُوْنَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًا
yawma yakhrujūna minal ajdāthi sirā`ā
The day when they will emerge from the graves quickly
234
كَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَى نُصُبٍ يُوْفِضُوْنَ
ka-annahum ilā nuṣubin yūfiḍūn
As if they were rushing to a goal
235
وَكَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُنْتَشِرٌ
waka-annahum jarādun muntashir
And as if they were scattered locusts
236
مُهْطِعِيْنَ إِلَى الدَّاعِي
muhṭi`īna ilad dā`ī
Hastening toward the Caller
237
إِلَى اللَّهِ
ilallāh
To Allah
238
يَوْمَ الوَاقِعَةِ
yawmal wāqi`ah
The day of the event
239
يَوْمَ تُرَجُّ الْأَرْضُ رَجًّا
yawma turajjul ar-ḍu rajjā
The day when the earth will be shaken with a shake
240
يَوْمَ تَكُوْنُ السَّمَاءُ كَالْمُهْلِ
yawma takūnus samā-u kalmuhl
The day when the sky will be like molten copper
241
وَتَكُوْنُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ
watakūnul jibālu kal`ihn
And the mountains will be like wool
242
وَلَا يَسْأَلُ حَمِيْمٌ حَمِيْمًا
walā yas-alu ḥamīmun ḥamīmā
And no close friend will ask about a close friend
243
يَوْمَ الشَّاهِدِ وَالْمَشْهُوْدِ
yawmash shāhidi walmash-hūd
The day of the witness and the witnessed
244
يَوْمَ تَكُوْنُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ صَفًّا صَفًّا
yawma takūnul malā-ikatu ṣaffan ṣaffā
The day when the angels will stand in rows
245
اَللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ مَوْقِفِيْ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ اليَوْمِ بِمَوْقِفِيْ فِيْ هٰذَا اليَوْمِ
allāhummar-ḥam mawqifī fī dhālikal yawmi bimawqifī fī hādhal yawm
O Allah, have mercy on my position on that day through my position on this day
246
وَلَا تُخْزِنِيْ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ الْمَوْقِفِ بِمَا جَنَيْتُ عَلَى نَفْسِي
walā tukhzinī fī dhālikal mawqifi bimā janaytu `alā nafsī
And do not disgrace me in that position because of what I have committed against myself
247
وَاجْعَلْ يَا رَبِّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ اليَوْمِ مَعَ اوْلِيَائِكَ مُنْطَلَقِي
waj`al yā rabbi fī dhālikal yawmi ma`awliyā-ika munṭalaqī
And make, O Lord, on that day my place with Your righteous servants
248
وَفِيْ زُمْرَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ مَحْشَرِي
wafī zumrati muḥammadin wa ahli baytihi `alayhimus salāmu maḥsharī
And my gathering place in the company of Muhammad and his household, peace be upon them
249
وَاجْعَلْ حَوْضَهُ مَوْرِدِي
waj`al ḥawḍahu mawridī
And make his fountain my destination
250
وَفِيْ الغُرِّ الكِرَامِ مَصْدَرِي
wafil ghurril kirāmi maṣdarī
And my source among the honorable ones with bright faces
251
وَاعْطِنِيْ كِتَابِيْ بِيَمِينِي
wa`ṭinī kitābī biyamīnī
And give me my book in my right hand
252
حَتَّى اَفُوْزَ بِحَسَنَاتِي
ḥattā afūza biḥasanātī
So that I may succeed with my good deeds
253
وَتُبَيِّضَ بِهِ وَجْهِي
watubayyiḍa bihi wajhī
And brighten my face with it
254
وَتُيَسِّرَ بِهِ حِسَابِي
watuyassira bihi ḥisābī
And make my reckoning easy through it
255
وَتُرَجِّحَ بِهِ مِيزَانِي
waturajjiḥa bihi mīzānī
And make my scale heavy with it
256
وَامْضِيَ مَعَ الفَائِزِينَ
wamḍiya ma`al fā-izīn
And make me pass with the successful ones
257
مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
min `ibādikaṣ ṣāliḥīn
From among Your righteous servants
258
إِلَى رِضْوَانِكَ وَجِنَانِكَ
ilā riḍwānika wajinānik
To Your pleasure and Your gardens
259
إِلٰهَ العَالَمِيْنَ
ilāhal `ālamīn
O God of the Worlds
260
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ اَنْ تَفْضَحَنِيْ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ اليَوْمِ
allāhumma innī a`ūdhu bika min an tafḍaḥanī fī dhālikal yawm
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from being disgraced on that day
261
بَيْنَ يَدَيْ الْخَلائِقِ بِجَرِيرَتِي
bayna yadayal khalā-iqi bijarīratī
Before the creation because of my crimes
262
اَوْ اَنْ أَلْقَىٰ الْخِزْيَ وَالنَّدَامَةَ بِخَطِيئَتِي
aw an alqal khizya wan nadāmata bikhaṭī-atī
Or that I face disgrace and regret because of my mistakes
263
اَوْ اَنْ تُظْهِرَ فِيْهِ سَيِّئَاتِيْ عَلَى حَسَنَاتِي
aw an tuẓhira fīhi sayyi-ātī `alā ḥasanātī
Or that You reveal my bad deeds over my good deeds
264
اَوْ اَنْ تُنَوِّهَ بَيْنَ الْخَلاَئِقِ بِاسْمِي
aw an tunawwiha baynal khalā-iqi bismī
Or that You announce my name among the creation
265
يَا كَرِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ
yā karīmu yā karīm
O Generous One, O Generous One
266
اَلعَفْوَ العَفْوَ
al `afwal `afw
Pardon, pardon
267
اَلسِّتْرَ السِّتْرَ
as sitras sitr
Conceal, conceal
268
اَللَّهُمَّ وَ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ اَنْ يَكُونَ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ اليَوْمِ
allāhumma wa a`ūdhu bika min an yakūna fī dhālikal yawm
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from having on that day
269
فِيْ مَوَاقِفِ الَاشْرَارِ مَوْقِفِي
fī mawāqifil ashrāri mawqifī
My position among the positions of the evil ones
270
اَوْ فِيْ مَقَامِ الَاشْقِيَاءِ مَقَامِي
aw fī maqāmil ashqiyā-i maqāmī
Or my place among the places of the wretched ones
271
وَإِذَا مَيَّزْتَ بَيْنَ خَلْقِكَ
wa-idhā mayyazta bayna khalqik
And when You distinguish between Your creation
272
فَسُقْتَ كُلًّا بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ
fasuqta kullan bi-a`mālihim
And You drive each according to their deeds
273
زُمَرًا إِلَى مَنَازِلِهِمْ
zumaran ilā manāzilihim
In groups to their destinations
274
فَسُقْنِيْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ مَعَ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
fasuqnī biraḥmatika ma`a `ibādikaṣ ṣāliḥīn
Then drive me by Your mercy with Your righteous servants
275
وَفِيْ زُمْرَةِ اَوْلِيَائِكَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
wafī zumrati awliyā-ikal muttaqīn
And in the company of Your pious friends
276
إِلَى جَنَّاتِكَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
ilā jannātika yā rabbal `ālamīn
To Your gardens, O Lord of the Worlds
Then you may bid farewell..
277
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā rasūlallāh
Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah
278
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْبَشِيرُ النَّذِيرُ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhal bashīrun nadhīr
Peace be upon you, O bearer of good news and warner
279
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا السِّرَاجُ الْمُنِيرُ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhas sirājul munīr
Peace be upon you, O illuminating lamp
280
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا السَّفِيرُ بَيْنَ اللَّهِ وَبَيْنَ خَلْقِهِ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhas safīru baynallāhi wabayna khalqih
Peace be upon you, O ambassador between Allah and His creation
281
اَشْهَدُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اَنَّكَ كُنْتَ نُورًا فِيْ الَاصْلاَبِ الشَّامِخَةِ
ash-hadu yā rasūlallāhi annaka kunta nūran fil aṣlābish shāmikhah
I bear witness, O Messenger of Allah, that you were a light in the lofty loins
282
وَالْأَرْحَامِ الْمُطَهَّرَةِ
wal-ar-ḥāmil muṭahharah
And purified wombs
283
لَمْ تُنَجِّسْكَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةُ بِأَنْجَاسِهَا
lam tunajjiskal jāhiliyyatu bi-anjāsihā
The ignorance did not pollute you with its impurities
284
وَلَمْ تُلْبِسْكَ مِنْ مُدْلَهِمَّاتِ ثِيَابِهَا
walam tulbiska min mudlahimmāti thiyābihā
And did not clothe you with its dark garments
285
وَاَشْهَدُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ اَنِّيْ مُؤْمِنٌ بِكَ
wa-ash-hadu yā rasūlallāhi annī mu-minun bik
And I bear witness, O Messenger of Allah, that I believe in you
286
وَبِالْأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ اَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ
wabil a-immati min ahli baytik
And in the Imams from your household
287
مُوقِنٌ بِجَمِيْعِ مَا اَتَيْتَ بِهِ
mūqinun bijamī`i mā atayta bih
Certain of all that you brought
288
رَاضٍ مُؤْمِنٌ
rāḍin mu-min
Content and believing
289
وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ الْأَئِمَّةَ مِنْ اَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ اَعْلاَمُ الْهُدَىٰ
wa ash-hadu annal a-immata min ahli baytika a`lāmul hudā
And I bear witness that the Imams from your household are the signposts of guidance
290
وَالْعُرْوَةُ الوُثْقَى
wal`ur-watul wuthqā
And the firmest handhold
291
وَالْحُجَّةُ عَلَى اَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا
walḥujjatu `alā ahlid dunyā
And the proof upon the people of this world
292
اَللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ آخِرَ العَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَةِ نَبِيِّكَ
allāhumma lā taj`alhu-ākhiral `ahdi min ziyārati nabiyyik
O Allah, do not make this the last time I visit Your Prophet
293
عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ السَّلاَمُ
`alayhi wa ālihis salām
Peace be upon him and his family
294
وَإِنْ تَوَفَّيْتَنِيْ فَإِنِّيْ اَشْهَدُ فِيْ مَمَاتِي
wa-in tawaffaytanī fa-innī ash-hadu fī mamātī
And if You cause me to die, then I bear witness in my death

عَلَى مَا اَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِ فِيْ حَيَاتِي
`alā mā ash-hadu `alayhi fī ḥayātī
To what I bear witness to in my life
296
اَنَّكَ اَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اَنْتَ
annaka antallāhu lā ilāha illā ant
That You are Allah, there is no god but You
297
وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ
waḥdaka lā sharīka lak
Alone with no partner
298
وَاَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُوْلُكَ
wa-anna muḥammadan `abduka warasūluk
And that Muhammad is Your servant and Your Messenger
299
وَ اَنَّ الْأَئِمَّةَ مِنْ اَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ اَوْلِيَاؤُكَ وَاَنْصَارُكَ
wa annal a-immata min ahli baytihi awliya-uka wa-anṣāruk
And that the Imams from his household are Your friends and supporters

وَحُجَجُكَ عَلَى خَلْقِكَ
waḥujajuka `alā khalqik
And Your proofs upon Your creation
301
وَخُلَفَاؤُكَ فِيْ عِبَادِكَ
wakhulafa-uka fī `ibādik
And Your vicegerents among Your servants
302
وَ اَعْلَامُكَ فِيْ بِلاَدِكَ
wa a`lāmuka fī bilādik
And Your signs in Your lands
303
وَخُزَّانُ عِلْمِكَ
wakhuzzānu `ilmik
And the treasurers of Your knowledge
304
وَحَفَظَةُ سِرِّكَ
waḥafaẓatu sirrik
And the keepers of Your secret
305
وَتَرَاجِمَةُ وَحْيِكَ
watarājimatu waḥyik
And the interpreters of Your revelation
306
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
307
وَبَلِّغْ رُوْحَ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ
waballigh rūḥa nabiyyika muḥammadin wa ālih
And convey to the soul of Your Prophet Muhammad and his family
308
فِيْ سَاعَتِيْ هٰذِهِ وَفِيْ كُلِّ سَاعَةٍ
fī sā`atī hādhihi wafī kulli sā`ah
At this hour and at every hour
309
تَحِيَّةً مِنِّيْ وَسَلَامًا
taḥiyyatan minnī wasalāmā
Greetings from me and peace
310
وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُوْلَ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
was salāmu `alayka yā rasūlallāhi waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings

لَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ آخِرَ تَسْلِيْمِيْ عَلَيْكَ
lā ja`alahullāhu-ākhira taslīmī `alayk
May Allah not make this my last greeting to you
