1
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā rasūlallāh
Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah
2
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā nabiyyallāh
Peace be upon you, O Prophet of Allah
3
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā muḥammadubna `abdillāh
Peace be upon you, O Muhammad, son of Abdullah
4
اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ
as salāmu `alayka yā khātaman nabiyyīn
Peace be upon you, O Seal of the Prophets
5
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ الرِّسَالَةَ
ash-hadu annaka qad ballaghtar risālah
I bear witness that you have conveyed the message
6
وَ اَقَمْتَ الصَّلاةَ
wa aqamtaṣ ṣalāh
And established the prayer
7
وَ آتَيْتَ الزَّكَاةَ
wa ātaytaz zakāh
And paid the zakat
8
وَ اَمَرْتَ بِالمَعْرُوفِ
wa amar-ta bil-ma`rūf
And enjoined good
9
وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ المُنْكَرِ
wanahayta `anil munkar
And forbade evil
10
وَعَبَدْتَ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا حَتَّى اَتَاكَ اليَقِينُ
wa`abadtallāha mukhliṣan ḥattā atākal yaqīn
And worshipped Allah sincerely until certainty came to you
11
فَصَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَتُهُ
faṣalawātullāhi `alayka waraḥmatuh
So may Allah's blessings and mercy be upon you
12
وَعَلَى اَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ الطَّاهِرِينَ
wa`alā ahli baytikaṭ ṭāhirīn
And upon your purified household
13
اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ
ash-hadu an lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the One, Who has no partner
14
وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
wa ash-hadu anna muḥammadan `abduhu warasūluh
And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger
15
وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ رَسُوْلُ اللَّهِ
wa ash-hadu annaka rasūlullāh
And I bear witness that you are the Messenger of Allah
16
وَ اَنَّكَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ
wa annaka muḥammadubnu `abdillāh
And that you are Muhammad, son of Abdullah
17
وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّكَ
wa ash-hadu annaka qad ballaghta risālāti rabbik
And I bear witness that you have conveyed the messages of your Lord
18
وَنَصَحْتَ لْأُمَّتِكَ
wanaṣaḥtal-ummatik
And advised your nation
19
وَجَاهَدْتَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللَّهِ
wajāhadta fī sabīlillāh
And strived in the way of Allah
20
وَعَبَدْتَ اللَّهَ حَتَّى اَتَاكَ اليَقِينُ
wa`abadtallāha ḥattā atākal yaqīn
And worshipped Allah until certainty came to you
21
بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ
bil ḥikmati walmaw`iẓatil ḥasanah
With wisdom and good admonition
22
وَ اَدَّيْتَ الَّذِيْ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ
wa addaytal ladhī `alayka minal ḥaqq
And fulfilled the duties that were upon you
23
وَ اَنَّكَ قَدْ رَؤُفْتَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wa annaka qad ra-ufta bil mu-minīn
And that you were kind to the believers
24
وَغَلُظْتَ عَلَى الكَافِرِينَ
waghaluẓta `alal kāfirīn
And stern against the disbelievers
25
فَبَلَّغَ اللَّهُ بِكَ اَفْضَلَ شَرَفِ مَحَلِّ الْمُكَرَّمِيْنَ
faballaghallāhu bika afḍala sharafi maḥallil mukarramīn
So Allah raised you to the highest ranks of the honored ones
26
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِيْ اَسْتَنْقَذَنَا بِكَ مِنْ الشِّرْكِ وَالضَّلَالَةِ
al ḥamdu lillāhil ladhī astanqadhanā bika minsh shir-ki waḍ ḍalālah
Praise be to Allah Who saved us through you from polytheism and misguidance
27
اَللَّهُمَّ فَاجْعَلْ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَصَلَوَاتِ مَلَائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
allāhumma faj`al ṣalawātika waṣalawāti malā-ikatikal muqarrabīn
O Allah, send Your blessings and the blessings of Your near angels
28
وَ اَنْبِيَائِكَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
wa anbiyā-ikal mur-salīn
And Your sent prophets
29
وَ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
wa `ibādikaṣ ṣāliḥīn
And Your righteous servants
30
وَ اَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْاَرَضِينَ
wa ahlis samāwāti wal-araḍīn
And the inhabitants of the heavens and earths
31
وَمَنْ سَبَّحَ لَكَ يَا رَبَّ العَالَمِيْنَ
waman sabbaḥa laka yā rabbal `ālamīn
And those who glorify You, O Lord of the worlds
32
مِنَ الْاَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ
minal awwalīna wal-ākhirīn
From the first ones and the last ones
33
عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُوْلِكَ
`alā muḥammadin `abdika warasūlik
Upon Muhammad, Your servant and messenger
34
وَنَبِيِّكَ وَاَمِينِكَ
wanabiyyika wa-amīnik
And Your prophet and trustee
35
وَنَجِيِّكَ وَحَبِيْبِكَ
wanajiyyika waḥabībik
And Your confidant and beloved
36
وَصَفِيِّكَ وَخٓاصَّتِكَ
waṣafiyyika wakhāṣṣatik
And Your chosen one and special one
37
وَصَفْوَتِكَ وَخِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
waṣafwatika wakhiyaratika min khalqik
And Your elite and best of Your creation
38
اَللَّهُمَّ اَعْطِهِ الدَّرَجَةَ الرَّفِيعَةَ
allāhumma a`ṭihid darajatar rafī`ah
O Allah, grant him the elevated rank
39
وَ آتِهِ الوَسِيْلَةَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ
wa ātihil wasīlata minal jannah
And give him the means of intercession in Paradise
40
وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُوْدًا، يَغْبِطُهُ بِهِ الْاَوَّلُوْنَ وَالْآخِرُوْنَ
wab`ath-hu maqāman maḥmūdā, yaghbiṭuhu bihil awwalūna wal-ākhirūn
And raise him to a praised station, envied by the first and the last
41
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ
allāhumma innaka qult
O Allah, You have said
42
وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ إِذْ ظَلَمُوْا اَنْفُسَهُمْ جَاؤُوْكَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوْا اللَّهَ
walaw annahum idh ẓalamū anfusahum ja-ūka fastaghfarullāh
"If they, when they wronged themselves, had come to you and asked forgiveness of Allah
43
وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُوْلُ
wastaghfara lahumur rasūl
And the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them
44
لَوَجَدُوْا اللَّهَ تَوَّابًا رَحِيْمًا
lawajadullāha tawwāban raḥīmā
They would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful"
45
وَإِنِّيْ اَتَيْتُكَ مُسْتَغْفِرًا تَائِبًا مِنْ ذُنُوْبِي
wa-innī ataytuka mustaghfiran tā-iban min dhunūbī
And I have come to you seeking forgiveness, repenting from my sins
46
وَإِنِّيْ اَتَوَجَّهُ بِكَ إِلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّيْ وَرَبِّكَ لِيَغْفِرَ لِيْ ذُنُوْبِي
wa-innī atawajjahu bika ilallāhi rabbī warabbika liyaghfira lī dhunūbī
And I turn through you to Allah, my Lord and your Lord, to forgive my sins
47
اَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الَّذِيْ اَجْتَبَاكَ وَاَخْتَارَكَ
as-alullāhal ladhī ajtabāka wa-akhtārak
I ask Allah Who chose you and selected you
48
وَهَدَاكَ وَهَدَى بِكَ
wahadāka wahadā bik
And guided you and guided through you
49
اَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْكَ
an yuṣalliya `alayk
To send blessings upon you
50
إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّوْنَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ
innallāha wamalā-ikatahu yuṣallūna `alan nabiyy
"Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet
51
يَا اَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ آمَنُوْا صَلُّوْا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِيْمًا
yā ayyuhal ladhīna-āmanū ṣallū `alayhi wasallimū taslīmā
O you who believe, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace"
