بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
bismillāhir raḥmānir raḥīm
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
allāhumma ṣalli `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
1
اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ النُّورِ الْعَظِيمِ
allāhumma rabban nūril `aẓīm
O Allah, Lord of the Great Light
2
وَرَبَّ الْكُرْسِيِّ الرَّفِيعِ
warabbal kur-siyyir rafī`
And Lord of the Exalted Throne
3
وَرَبَّ الْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ
warabbal baḥril masjūr
And Lord of the Swelling Sea
4
وَمُنْزِلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ وَالزَّبُورِ
wamunzilat tawrāti wal-injīli waz zabūr
And the One who sent down the Torah, the Gospel, and the Psalms
5
وَرَبَّ الظِّلِّ وَالْحَرُورِ
warabbaẓ ẓilli walḥarūr
And Lord of the Shade and the Heat
6
وَمُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيمِ
wamunzilal qur-ānil `aẓīm
And the One who sent down the Great Quran
7
وَرَبَّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ
warabbal malā-ikatil muqarrabīn
And Lord of the close angels
8
وَالْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
wal-anbiyā-i wal mur-salīn
And the prophets and messengers
9
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ
allāhumma innī as-aluka biwajhikal karīm
O Allah, I ask You by Your Noble Face
10
وَبِنُوْرِ وَجْهِكَ الْمُنِيرِ
wabinūri wajhikal munīr
And by the Light of Your Radiant Face
11
وَمُلْكِكَ الْقَدِيمِ
wamulkikal qadīm
And Your Eternal Kingdom
12
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ
yā ḥayyu yā qayyūm
O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting
13
أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِيْ أَشْرَقَتْ بِهِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرَضُونَ
as-aluka bismikal ladhī ashraqat bihis samāwātu wal-araḍūn
I ask You by Your Name through which the heavens and earths shine
14
وَبِاسْمِكَ الَّذِيْ يَصْلَحُ بِهِ الْأَوَّلُونَ وَالْآخِرُونَ
wabismikal ladhī yaṣlaḥu bihil awwalūna wal-ākhirūn
And by Your Name through which the first and the last are set right
15
يَا حَيًّا قَبْلَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ
yā ḥayyan qabla kulli ḥayy
O Living before every living thing
16
وَيَا حَيًّا بَعْدَ كُلِّ حَيٍّ
wayā ḥayyan ba`da kulli ḥayy
And O Living after every living thing
17
وَيَا حَيًّا حِيْنَ لَاحَيَّ
wayā ḥayyan ḥīna lāḥayy
And O Living when there is no living
18
يَا مُحْيِيَ الْمَوْتىٰ وَمُمِيتَ الْأَحْيَاءِ
yā muḥyiyal mawtā wamumītal aḥyā
O Giver of life to the dead and Bringer of death to the living
19
يَا حَيُّ لَاإِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
yā ḥayyu la-ilāha illā ant
O Ever-Living, there is no god but You
20
اَللّٰهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مَوْلاَنَا الْإِمَامَ الْهَادِيَ الْمَهْدِيَّ الْقَائِمَ بِأَمْرِكَ
allāhumma balligh mawlānal imāmal hādiyal mahdiyyal qā-ima bi-amrik
O Allah, convey to our Master, the Imam, the Guide, the Guided, the One Entrusted with Your Command
21
صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلٰى آبَائِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ
ṣalawātullāhi `alayhi wa`alā-ābā-ihiṭ ṭāhirīn
May the blessings of Allah be upon him and upon his pure forefathers
22
عَنْ جَمِيْعِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ
`an jamī`il mu-minīna walmu-mināt
From all believing men and believing women
23
فِيْ مَشَارِقِ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا
fī mashāriqil ar-ḍi wamaghāribihā
In the east and west of the earth
24
سَهْلِهَا وَجَبَلِهَا
sahlihā wajabalihā
Its plains and its mountains
25
وَبَرِّهَا وَبَحْرِهَا
wabarrihā wabaḥrihā
Its lands and its seas
26
وَعَنِّيْ وَعَنْ وَالِدَيَّ
wa`annī wa`an wālidayy
And from me and my parents
27
مِنَ الصَّلَوَاتِ زِنَةَ عَرْشِ اللَّهِ
minaṣ ṣalawāti zinata `ar-shillāh
Of the prayers equal to the weight of Allah's Throne
28
وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
wamidāda kalimātih
And the ink of His words
29
وَمَا أَحْصَاهُ عِلْمُهُ وَأَحَاطَ بِهِ كِتَابُهُ
wamā aḥṣāhu `ilmuhu wa-aḥāṭa bihi kitābuh
And what His knowledge has enumerated and His Book encompasses
30
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أُجَدِّدُ لَهُ فِيْ صَبِيحَةِ يَوْمِيْ هٰذَا
allāhumma innī ujaddidu lahu fī ṣabīḥati yawmī hādhā
O Allah, I renew for him on this morning of my day
31
وَمَا عِشْتُ مِنْ أَيَّامِي
wamā `ishtu min ayyāmī
And for as long as I live from my days
32
عَهْدًا وَعَقْدًا وَبَيْعَةً لَهُ فِيْ عُنُقِي
`ahdan wa`aqdan wabay`atan lahu fī `unuqī
A pledge, a covenant, and an allegiance to him upon my neck
33
لَا أَحُولُ عَنْهَا وَلَا أَزُولُ أَبَدًا
lā aḥūlu `anhā walā azūlu abadā
From which I will never turn away nor deviate ever
34
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ أَنْصَارِهِ
allāhummaj`alnī min anṣārih
O Allah, make me among his helpers
35
وَأَعْوَانِهِ وَالذَّابِّينَ عَنْهُ
wa-a`wānihi wadh dhābbīna `anh
And his supporters and defenders
36
وَالْمُسَارِعِينَ إِلَيْهِ فِيْ قَضَاءِ حَوَائِجِهِ
walmusāri`īna ilayhi fī qaḍā-i ḥawā-ijih
And those who hasten to fulfill his needs
37
وَالْمُمْتَثِلِينَ لِأَوَامِرِهِ
walmumtathilīna li-awāmirih
And those who comply with his commands
38
وَالْمُحَامِيْنَ عَنْهُ
walmuḥāmīna `anh
And those who protect him
39
وَالسَّابِقِينَ إِلٰى إِرَادَتِهِ
was sābiqīna ilā irādatih
And those who hasten to his will
40
وَالْمُسْتَشْهَدِيْنَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ
walmustash-hadīna bayna yadayh
And those who attain martyrdom before him
41
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنْ حَالَ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَهُ الْمَوْتُ الَّذِيْ جَعَلْتَهُ عَلٰى عِبَادِكَ حَتْمًا مَقْضِيًّا
allāhumma in ḥāla baynī wabaynahul mawtul ladhī ja`altahu `alā `ibādika ḥatman maqḍiyyā
O Allah, if death, which You have decreed upon Your servants as inevitable, comes between me and him
42
فَأَخْرِجْنِيْ مِنْ قَبْرِيْ مُؤْتَزِرًا كَفَنِي
fa-akhrijnī min qabrī mu-taziran kafanī
Then bring me out from my grave, wrapped in my shroud
43
شَاهِرًا سَيْفِي
shāhiran sayfī
With my sword unsheathed
44
مُجَرِّدًا قَنَاتِي
mujarridan qanātī
My spear drawn
45
مُلَبِّيًا دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِيْ فِيْ الْحَاضِرِ وَالْبَادِي
mulabbiyan da`watad dā`ī fil ḥāḍiri walbādī
Answering the call of the caller in cities and deserts
46
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَرِنِيْ الطَّلْعَةَ الرَّشِيدَةَ
allāhumma ariniṭ ṭal`atar rashīdah
O Allah, show me the rightly guided countenance
47
وَالْغُرَّةَ الْحَمِيدَةَ
walghurratal ḥamīdah
And the praiseworthy appearance
48
وَاكْحُلْ نَاظِرِيْ بِنَظْرَةٍ مِنِّيْ إِلَيْهِ
wakḥul nāẓirī binaẓratin minnī ilayh
And delight my eyes with a glance from me to him
49
وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُ
wa`ajjil farajah
And hasten his relief
50
وَسَهِّلْ مَخْرَجَهُ
wasahhil makhrajah
And ease his emergence
51
وَأَوْسِعْ مَنْهَجَهُ
wa-awsi` manhajah
And make his path wide
52
وَاسْلُكْ بِيْ مَحَجَّتَهُ
wasluk bī maḥajjatah
And let me follow his way
53
وَأَنْفِذْ أَمْرَهُ
wa-anfidh amrah
And implement his command
54
وَاشْدُدْ أَزْرَهُ
washdud azrah
And strengthen his back
55
وَاعْمُرِ اللَّهُمَّ بِهِ بِلادَكَ
wa`murillāhumma bihi bilādak
And O Allah, through him, cultivate Your lands
56
وَأَحْيِ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ
wa-aḥyi bihi `ibādak
And revive Your servants
57
فَإِنَّكَ قُلْتَ وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ
fa-innaka qulta waqawlukal ḥaqq
For You have said, and Your word is the truth:
58
ظَهَرَ الْفَسٰادُ فِيْ الْبَرِّ وَ الْبَحْرِ
ẓaharal fasādu fil barri wal baḥr
"Corruption has appeared on land and sea
59
بِمٰا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيْ النّٰاسِ
bimā kasabat aydin nās
Because of what the hands of people have earned"
60
فَأَظْهِرِ اللَّهُمَّ لَنَا وَلِيَّكَ
fa-aẓhirillāhumma lanā waliyyak
So O Allah, show us Your representative
61
وَابْنَ بِنْتِ نَبِيِّكَ
wabna binti nabiyyik
The son of Your Prophet's daughter
62
اَلْمُسَمَّىٰ بِاسْمِ رَسُولِكَ
al musammā bismi rasūlik
Named after Your Messenger
63
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family
64
حَتَّىٰ لَايَظْفَرَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْبَاطِلِ إِلَّا مَزَّقَهُ
ḥattā lāyaẓfara bishay-in minal bāṭili illā mazzaqah
So that he leaves no falsehood without tearing it apart
65
وَيُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ وَيُحَقِّقَهُ
wayuḥiqqal ḥaqqa wayuḥaqqiqah
And establishes truth and confirms it
66
وَاجْعَلْهُ اللَّهُمَّ مَفْزَعًا لِمَظْلُومِ عِبَادِكَ
waj`alhullāhumma mafza`an limaẓlūmi `ibādik
And O Allah, make him a refuge for Your oppressed servants
67
وَنَاصِرًا لِمَنْ لَايَجِدُ لَهُ نَاصِرًا غَيْرَكَ
wanāṣiran liman lāyajidu lahu nāṣiran ghayrak
And a helper for those who find no helper other than You
68
وَمُجَدِّدًا لِمَا عُطِّلَ مِنْ أَحْكَامِ كِتَابِكَ
wamujaddidan limā `uṭṭila min aḥkāmi kitābik
And a reviver of what has been abandoned from the rulings of Your Book
69
وَمُشَيِّدًا لِمَا وَرَدَ مِنْ أَعْلاَمِ دِينِكَ وَسُنَنِ نَبِيِّكَ
wamushayyidan limā warada min a`lāmi dīnika wasunani nabiyyik
And a reinforcer of what has come of the signs of Your religion and the traditions of Your Prophet
70
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family
71
وَاجْعَلْهُ اللَّهُمَّ مِمَّنْ حَصَّنْتَهُ مِنْ بَأْسِ الْمُعْتَدِيْنَ
waj`alhullāhumma mimman ḥaṣṣantahu min ba-sil mu`tadīn
And O Allah, make him among those whom You have protected from the might of the transgressors
72
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَسُرَّ نَبِيَّكَ مُحَمَّدًا
allāhumma wasurra nabiyyaka muḥammadā
O Allah, gladden Your Prophet Muhammad
73
صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
May Allah's blessings be upon him and his family
74
بِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُ عَلٰى دَعْوَتِهِ
biru-yatihi waman tabi`ahu `alā da`watih
By the sight of him and those who follow his call
75
وَارْحَمِ اسْتِكَانَتَنَا بَعْدَهُ
war-ḥamistikānatanā ba`dah
And have mercy on our weakness after him
76
اَللَّهُمَّ اكْشِفْ هٰذِهِ الْغُمَّةَ عَنْ هٰذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ بِحُضُورِهِ
allāhummakshif hādhihil ghummata `an hādhihil ummati biḥuḍūrih
O Allah, remove this distress from this nation by his presence
77
وَعَجِّلْ لَنَا ظُهُورَهُ
wa`ajjil lanā ẓuhūrah
And hasten for us his appearance
78
إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيدًا وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيبًا
innahum yarawnahu ba`īdan wanarāhu qarībā
They see it as distant, but we see it as near
79
بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
biraḥmatika yā ar-ḥamar rāḥimīn
By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful
Slap your right thigh with your hand three times and, at each time, say the following:
80
اَلْعَجَلَ الْعَجَلَ يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا صَاحِبَ الزَّمَانِ
al `ajalal `ajala yā mawlāya yā ṣāḥibaz zamān
Hasten, hasten, O my Master, O Master of the Time
